im 36 weeks pregnant ( with my 1st) & today my dr. told me at my appt. she has to close her practice and move out of state bc of family issues. my due date is april 11th and she will be closing for good april 12th. She has given me the options to choose a new dr. or come back in one week and have my membranes scraped to induce my labor. if i wait till my due date she will be long gone, just not sure if i should go through with it, if its not medically necessary. I don't want to switch Dr's, but am just not sure. just wanted some insight from people who may have gone through it.

well, i didn't want to go on here to ask about my situation. but today is wednesday, and planned parent hood closed and Walgreen's and CVS closed just now ( since its pass ten ) but oh well, here it goes. i had two miscarriage before and the last one i got on birth control after i stop bleeding. this happen around december 11, and the bleeding keep going on since jan, something... but my period came along around the 14th, and on feb ( actually that month the 15th... ) but around that time i was out of pills, i need a new pack, but i never got around to it. me and my fiancee dont want to get pregnant so soon after what happen in december. so every time we had sex nowadays ever since i ran out of BC, we ALWAYS used a condom. and im not going to lie, even though its a personal thing, well me and him sometimes do anal sex too, because sometimes like if we dont have any more condoms we do that instead. now its the 17th.. and im really worried. i dont plan on getting pregnant anything soon, since i had two miscarriage before and i really doubt this one too, and i dont want to be depressed again, cause im somewhat now still.. today i feel very bloated, i went to the fair park here to see the museums with my niece and nephew and i ate a hot dog there and a cheeseburger at MacDonald's, after that i felt so bloated. my last pregnancy i couldnt finish a soda can of DP.. just a few minutes ago, i open a can of soda and same thing, i couldnt finish it..so i start getting worried i didnt told my fiancee yet and im kinda scared too, i dont know why really. maybe its just because we both promise we would be carefull this time. honestly i dont know how i would be pregnant. i didnt had unportected sex, and ever time were done, he always see if the condom broke or ripped.. i know the only way to really find out is to get a pregnancy test and go to the doctors. im going to planned parent hood ( hopefully ) this week. im sorry if you guys cant answer me. but just give me your opinion, that would be really nice. thank you mummy of two. i should just wait for it to come and get a pregnancy test to ease my mind

I had a blood test done, I'm 11 weeks, however the blood work suggested I am already in my second trimester? What does that mean? I'm so frusterated! Just wanna know if I'm correct. Had it with my first pregnancy, but have not been diagnosed with this one and the first was not HALF this EXTREME! im taking tylonol 3 for the pain, sleeping with a pillow between my thighs, using an exercise ball and doing pelvic rocks...It started around 6 weeks pregnant now im 29weeks and WOW! Here's a description of what I feel like daily... - excruciating pain in lower region (like pulling apart barbies doll legs) - feeling like my pelvic & pubic bone is cracked down the middle - hearing popping noises when I shift position or stand - cannot walk for longer than 5 minutes without alot of pain - lifting my legs in a lying position is nearly impossible - walking with tiny baby steps trying to get to bathroom in time! - deep pain in my seat and deep vaginal area (sorry TMI) lol. Omg. help! on top of that i have gestational diabetes and depend on two types of insulin injections at least 6-7 times daily as well as testing my blood 5-6 times a day for a total of 11-13 episodes of piercing and bleeding!!! as well i take dicletin for severe nausea as i dislocated my spine while vomiting when i was 3months along. i love my baby and feel badly that im not enjoying this ride. so i was supposed to get my period on the 3rd of every month, i have a normal cycle, since feb was only 28 days, i figured id get my period by the 6th of march and as of today march 17th still no period and no signs of getting it either. last week my breasts were hurting, really bad! around the nipple area only and it would hurt worse if i touched it but that only lasted abt a week, other then that I've been having these weird headaches that make my head feel really heavy, off and on for a couple of days, I've also felt like throwing up a lot lately like Monday night i went to the movies with my husband and i couldn't sit through the whole movie because i felt like i was literally going to throw up every where! i have been sleeping a little more then usual but that could be due to the time change and i pee abt 2 times an hour. so my question is: Is there a possibility i could be pregnant? i haven't taken a HPT yet because i took 7 of them last month and all neg! i was 8 days late last month and this month I'm now 11 days late... when should i take a test? or should i wate another week to see if i get my period?

Ok so I have heard of recruiters telling you what you wanna hear but never being heartless. My husband signed a contract to be a diver for the ARMY. We were being told that after his basic in Missouri we would be moved (me and our 11 month old) to base with him while he went to A school. Well once the papers were signed we are now being told that NO he will reamain in the barracks for 29 weeks and we cannot live on base with him and he cannot leave. To make it worse im pregnant with our secons child so our daughter will be 2 and he will have a 6 month old he has never met when he gets out. And the recruiter was so heartless telling us this. My husband asked why he lied and he said "Het man, that's just how it goes" . So does anyone know a loop hole around this? Can he change his job? Anything would help

I was supposed to get my period on the 11th. I missed it. I had unprotected sex a few times between the 4th and the 13th (he pulled out - stupid, I know). I've taken three pregnancy tests and they've all been negative. I already missed a period, so wouldn't a positive reading show up? Or has it not been long enough, I realize it hasn't been two weeks yet... I am freaking out! Should I just wait for a week or two and take another test?

Okay so my last period was on January 6th and I found out I was pregnant on February 11th. I thought everything was fine. Well on March 4th I had an ultrasound and I thought I was suppose to be about 7 weeks pregnant, but the u/s tech told me that I measured 5 weeks/1 day and the heartbeat was 91 bpm which was slow but they thought it was good because it probably just started beating hours or a day before. I was kinda bummed out. But I still thought everything was normal, I thought I just got pushed back a couple weeks but I could handle it. At first my due date was October 12th but now it got pushed back to November 3rd. I had an ultrasound today (2 weeks since my last ultrasound) so I thought I would be measuring just 7 weeks but my baby measured just 6 weeks and the heartrate dropped to 74 bpm. My doctor said my odds are not looking good and I would probably miscarry soon. Please tell me some stories. Is there any hope for my baby? If my baby does go to term, is he gonna have abormalites? I'm scared and need help.

I know my baby's heart is beating and when I went to the doctor they were able to hear it even though its still early. I pushed on my stomach and felt something hard and then a heartbeat. I felt my own heart and its beating waaaaayyyy slower and at a different pace. Is this possible? Normal?

I was born in 1784 in Salmon, Idaho and was born into the Shoshoni Tribe. My name means “boat launcher” or “bird woman.” Around twelve years of age I was captured by Hidatsa Indians. I was then sold to a French-Canadian trapper named Toussaint Charbonneau who made me one of his wives. My husband and I lived in the upper Missouri river area which is now North Dakota. In 1804 the Lewis and Clark expedition had camped for the winter at Fort Mandan. Charbonneau was also spending the winter there with me while I was pregnant with my son. My husband was hired to guide Lewis and Clark in the expedition because of his knowledge of the country. He was instructed to bring my baby and I. She's in high school, grade 11 and her boyfriend broke up with her around 2 weeks ago, but she's convinced that she could be pregnant and there are rumors going around the school that she is. She's too scared to get a pregnancy test, and she is pro life, so abortion isn't an option. I'm 30 years old and never once had ANY health issues/surgeries/problems. Nothing weird has ever happened to me before, which is why I'm making a bit of a fuss about last night. I went to bed at 7pm last night, pretty early but I am 11 weeks pregnant and fatigue has taken over my body! At 9:30, I woke up to use the restroom, stepped out of my bed and immediately collapsed to the floor. My legs just gave out. I went to stand up but I had no feeling in my legs. I just sat on the floor crying (thinking I was paralyzed - hahaha I know), and my roomate even checked on me! I finally crawled to the bathroom and used my arms to lift myself onto the toilet, crawled back to bed and used my arms to lift me up.. fell asleep and woke up fine. I know 100% that my legs were not just "asleep." I know that feeling. Is there something wrong with me?? :)

I've asked this question a couple of times but haven't got many answers. I also have new information. I had unprotected sex twice. One time, he tried to withdraw but wasn't sure if he did it on time. The second time, he actually came inside of me. (Irresponsible and stupid, I know. You don't have to tell me.) The first time was at like 4 AM on Wednesday morning (where he did withdraw but was unsure) and the second time was at like 6 AM on Thursday morning (where he actually came inside me). That Thursday we went and got the Plan B One-Step pill. This all occured last week. (Wednesday March 10 - Thursday March 11) It is now Monday March 15. I also had my last period February 26 - March 7. When can I take a pregnancy test to hopefully make sure I'm not pregnant? Also, today, I bagan getting brown discharge down there. Could this have anyhing to do with whats going on? I've already had my period so I know it can't be that... Then again, I do sometimes have irregular periods. Today is exactly a week from the first time we did it (where he withdrawed but wasn't sure if he did it on time). And tomorrow will be exactly a week from the second time we did it (where he definetly came inside of me.)

Greetings All; Before I begin, allow me to say that I'm well aware this is a problem that I should bring to the doctor. I know that I need to do my best to convince them that there's something wrong, and I need to keep pushing until I get some answers. Well, I've tried all of that. First of all, a bit of history: This is my fourth pregnancy, I've never had any miscarriages *knocks on wood*. I'm an old hat at typical aches and pains in the pregnancy process. I've had preeclampsia twice (first and third pregnancies), with the second resulting in labor induction in my 36th week. I'm not one generally to complain; I know a lot of people say this, but you're just going to have to trust me on this: I won't go to the hospital unless someone physically drags me there. Okay, some more info: I'm a 29 year old caucasian, I've had both my gall bladder and appendix removed 3 years and 7 years ago respectively. I've had all my shots including the full hepatitis series, all over a year or more ago. I was diagnosed with Colitis in January of this year; I've had some lower levels of protein and bilirubin in my urine; I've had beyond the normal amount of pregnancy nausea, it feels as though as someone kicked me in the stomach; I have pain in my left flank which indicates, along with the protein in my urine, that the hydronephrosis is back with this pregnancy, as well as a urinary tract infection; I have tenderness on the right front side of my body, with pain shooting up to my shoulder, which along with the elevated bilirubin indicates possible liver issues. I'm only 11 weeks and 4 days along, so it's not like I'm nine months pregnant and impatient. I'm seeing a GI for the colitis; but he can't/won't provide relief and the meds just aren't working, so when I can eat, I have to deal with reffered pain in my back until my food passes through my stomach, and then again as soon as it passes my small intestine. I've talked to my GP about the liver/kidney issues, and he simply tested me for Epstein Barr and Mono, which came back negative, and he never followed up. When I tell the OB about the amount of pain my kidneys and urinary tract infection are causing, he pretty much just pats my hand and says "There, there." I get light headed if I have to walk more than 100 yards, to the point of where my vision starts to shut off if I don't stop and catch my breath. I know it's not my heart, as I've had stress tests in the past and I had an EKG in January as well as some blood gasses taken which all came back fine. My white blood cell count is elevated (just high, not above normal), my red blood cells are low, elevated C-ReactivProteinsns and slight anemia. I'm at a dead end; which is why i turned to Yahoo! Answers. I can hardly function and no one seems to care. I'm seriously ready to slip back into a depression. I honestly don't know how much of an answer I'm looking for...this is more or less just the chance to vent my frustrations. If anybody has any thoughts on at which point my doctors will actually care and not just brush it off as "normal pregnancy issues", that would really be helpful. Maybe there's something I'm not communicating which is allowing the doctors to think that I'm just complaining. I don't know; in any case, thanks for taking the time to read my meandering thoughts. My Husband has been in Iraq for the past 10 months, except for when he came to visit a for a few weeks in December to early January (which is when I got pregnant) he is due to come back next month, but I miss him a LOT! He is my best friend and it's so hard being pregnant without him here.. I just had mt first appt. and was told I was 5 weeks pregnant. I had my last period in Jan. but being that I am only five weeks I would have conceived in feb. 19 which makes sense except for me not having my feb. period. which comes 11th of every month. I have irregular periods from the time i started. I havent had a period since November 7th which lasted till the 11th. My boyfriend and i had sex during this time and the 19 through thanksgiving. My daughter is almost 11 month old and I have gotten my first period a month ago which lasted 5 days and then 2 weeks later got it again which was the 4th March. It is now the 17th March and I've still have them. I have experienced no pain except for the first 2 days but they were very mild. Im 21 weeks and 2 day pregnant according to the ultrasounds...ok here is the story! I was with my bf for a long time and we always had unprotected sex. i was with him on all the time in october (sleepin together alot) and then we broke up cuz he cheated on me but i am in college so i only really see him on the weekends and then i ended up sleepin with someone else on either november 8 or 9th. I found out i was pregnant on november 26th. the first ultrasound said that i was due on July 26th the ultrasound was on December 14th. i had another ultra sound on March 11th and they gave me the same due date of July 26h. Who would the father b considering these dates? and plz dont say paternity test cuz i knw that already...i jus want to knw the best guess. also the guy i was with in november didnt get off...does that matter? ok im not sure when the first day of my last period was. i was completly regualr. but they said i was 8 weeks when they gave me the first ultrasound. also they have the due date the same exact day for the past 2 times...good?

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about four or five months. We have had sex almost every day since my last period which was on the 22nd. I ovulated around the 11th or so. I'm a 20 year old nanny and college student. I'm 13 weeks pregnant by a JERK basically. I've been seeing the jerk for going on 2 years. Once a upon a time this jerk and I were very much in love. We broke up almost 7 months ago but have stayed very close but we saw other people.On January 1 I conceived, January 17th I found out he was living with someone he was seeing but they are not together. (I know freaking crazy right), A few days later I found out I was pregnant. We are cool, we get along, he wants to help raise our child, he even has said some about us moving in together back in together. Sometimes I'll call him after 11 and he wont answer. It really hurts my feeling because I don't if he is doing it because he is around her or just turned his phones on silent. HELP!!!!! I'm sick of him not answering, Im sick of them living together. When I was 19 I lost my first son at 11 weeks and about 7 months later I became pregnant again. I had a healthy pregnancy for the most part but I spent the first few months worried about losing another child. My son was born in June of 2009 and is now 9 months old. My husband is deployed and we have started talking about trying to have another baby when he returns at the end of this year. I am still scared to death of having another miscarriage. The first one nearly destroyed us. It caused my husband to to fail a test in AIT and have to get a new job. My husband was a wreck and I didnt get to see him till 6 months after losing the baby which only made matter worse. I want a second baby but the thought of miscarriage is causing me to be unsure if I want to try. Someone once said something to me about that once you have one miscarriage you are at risk to have another. I dont think my husband and I could live thru another loss.

I have never had sex before, and I have a few questions. This is not a joke, and I only want serious answers. If you dont know what you are talking about, please do not answer. I have been taking yaz for about two years, and have never had sex before. About three weeks ago, me and my boyfriend took 4 showers together over a length of five days. In the shower, he ejaculated, but not on me. We made sure that there wasnt anything on our hands, and touched each other. I take my pill everyday at the same time, and noticed that about 11 days before my period, there was slight bleeding for two days. It has since stopped, and I have read that this can happen on yaz. We NEVER had sex, so is it possible that I could be pregnant? We did have oral sex. Has anyone else that uses yaz ever noticed some slight bleeding before your period? Again, there was never any genital contact, I am just worried about the oral sex thing/touching.

hiya bit confused really. i had a period on the 11th of feb and my cycles r usually 30days which would mean i would b due on on the 13th of this month.well that day has come and nothing. ive been getin period cramping for about a week now but then nothing.i got this with my son and turned out to b pregnant.but i did a clearblue test on sunday the +/- ones and the thinest blue positve come up...(the horizontel line was thick and the vertical line was thin) so was a bit confused bout that.so decided to do another one monday but it was negative???im a bit confused as to whether i could well b pregnant?is it worth going to buy another test in a couple of days?? im never late for my period and i just feel very weird.

And can not do a dna test its to risky? I do not want to be judged for this so please no nasty comments but Im sure who my 11 month old babies father is? My daughter was born on the 21st march 2009 (13 days over my due date) as she was due on the 9th of March 2009. I was on a break with my now partner and who I presume is my daughters father. I did have a drunken and very stupid one night stand with a old ex, which I put down to being on the rebound but there is not excuse. This was on the friday the 30th May 2008 and this was the last day of my period, and I did not use protection. After this I then got back with my now partner and had unprotected sex on the 5th,6th,7th of June 2008. I say unprotected because before me and my partner had our break I had come of my pill as we had been trying for a baby for over a year and did not expect to break up. I must state that I never fell pregnant in this year and only then did I fall pregnant and had my 12 week scan on the 18th August where they dated me 11 weeks. Could it possible not be my partners if I'd gone so far over due? Please help its a awful situation and although my partner knows and is happy to carry on being my daughters dad its still plays on my mind?!!?

I'm aware that it's not the baby - the baby is teeny tiny right now, but I've always been curious as to what exactly is showing at first? I can't get a good explanation in any of the books I have. In the next few weeks I'm sure I'll start growing and growing... what is it that's growing? My uterus?

ok im 15 and ill be 16 next month im very mature for my age and i feel much older than i am. ive been seeing this guy for almost a year...( it will be a year 11 days after my birthday..) he's older than me (23) i love him and he loves me and like when we first started going out it was like he made me feel special. he was the only person in the world i felt happy around we did alot of stuff together like go to the movies and somrtimes just go somewhere and talk for hours. 3 months ago i found out i was 7 weeks pregnant and i was scared at first but that eventually turned to happiness. when i told him he wanted me to get an abortion and that hurt... i didnt do it and now im 4 months 2 weeks and 5 days pregnant with a baby boy but ever since the day he asked me that ive been having mixed feelings about the whole thing like do he really love and wanna be with me and is he happy with me? i feel like i was bein selfish about the whole situation but then again i really didnt wanna do it.. i know he loves me but i guess its just kuz i have an melancholy personality and i tend to over think everythingthat i feel this way. maybe its the pregnancy emotions. i know he thinks about it alot because we dont talk alot anymore and weneva i try to talk to him he gets aggravated... he came around to the whole baby thing but maybe there's something else bothering him. he still makes me happy but lately ive been sad and i dont know what to do, i cant ask noone in my family what to do cause they wouldnt be able to help they all live by the all men are dogs and treat em like dey treat you rule and this isnt like that... so what should i do? i live in miami and there's a school here for pregnant girls he's helpin me out wit money and all and we've talked about the legal situation and wen i turn 16 as long as my moms ok with it its ok. i just wanna know y i feel so bad?

I am 11 weeks pregnant and have been getting migraines since i was 9 years old. I usually have a prescription to take for them, but since Ive been pregnant, my dr. told me all i can take is tylenol. Tylenol doesn't help me at all. my next appointment isnt until next week. Does anyone know if there is anything my dr will be able to give me, and if there is should I get in sooner? My migraines have just gotten worse and to the point where I have to have the lights off all day long. It just won't go away. My boyfriend rubs my head and gets me cold washcloths to put in my head, and it just doesn't help.

I have been on Orthotricyclean (birth control) for about 11 years on and off. Lately I have been forgetting to take it every day and at least every other day I have been doubling up on the pills. I'll usually forget one day and then have to take 2, one for the day missed and then for the day I should be taking for. I have done this at least a couple times a week. Is there any cause for alarm in doing this too frequent? I am under 30 so i am not sure if that makes it any worse.

is this just strecthing?

Short Story: I'm 39 and he is 26, we are both married, we have been having an affair for around 1 year now, last time I had sex with my husband was 1 month ago, last time I had sex with him was 2 weeks ago, I don't know if I should keep the baby. Long story: I first met him at a work night out, he was outside gardening and I went out for some air, and he caught my eye, he was so good looking, my husband hadn't touched me for around 11 months(that's changed now) and I was just feeling unloved, disgusting and ugly, so I saw this hot guy, went up to him and kissed him, expecting him to push me away and he didn't, after discrete texting we arranged to meet up and had sex, we now meet up whenever he can, he works all over Ohio as a gardener and I work as a fundraiser so I travel a bit as well. The thing is he has became my best friend, he tells me everything and I even give him relationship advice, I would never want to ruin his marriage, I do see him as more of a friend, but he is attractive and we do have sex, like I said above now I'm pregnant and I don't know what to do, I'm scared if I start to show it will scare him off and I don't want that I would miss him too much. Any advice would be appreciated even on my situation in general, I'm in two minds.
