I think I took the blood test a little early, could there still be a chance that I still am pregnant 12/26 - ovulated & intercourse 4DPO - cramping began 5DPO - cramping along with some spotting (only when I wiped) 6DPO-11DPO - continued cramping 9DPO- negative urine test 10DPO - negative blood test Note: cramping and spotting is very rare for me especially cramping that has lasted more than a week. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and vomit almost after every meal. After I eat I feel like the food is caught in my throat. This causes me to gag then throw up. My husband SA said there was 67% motility and 70M after washing...Dr. said this was really good. As long as my eggs are mature what are the chances of us really getting pregnant. So my last period was 12/08/08 my boyfriend and I have had sex on the 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 27th. My period should start today or tomorrow and I have taken 2 tests already and they both come back as negative. I have been bloating, Constipated, Headaches, Cramping for about a week, and Nauseated. Are these signs of PMS or could I be Prego?

So I have been using the Nuvaring for over a year now, and I sometimes skip a period every now and then by leaving it in for a full 28 days before replacing it, with no "out" week. Anyway, this fall my life was insanely busy and stressful, and while I replaced the ring after my period in early November, I apparently forgot to remove or replace the ring after that. As a result, I got my period with the ring in, and it would have had to have been in for moer than 28 days for that to happen. I'm not certain of the exact date of my last period, but I have it narrowed down to 12/10-12/13. I then left town for the holidays while on my period, and only realized when I returned on 12/26 that I had forgotten to put in a new ring, which I did just before bed. Anyway, long story short, I had unprotected sex the night of the 27th, and just a couple days later I started feeling weird, just a host of random things like hot flashes, waves of nausea or dizziness, constipation, and odd cramping and persistent feeling of bloating in my lower belly and I can't determine if it's gas or something else. Is it possible for me to "feel" pregnant already? Is it too early to take a test?

im nearly 18 weeks pregnant, but when i was 12 - 14 week i went to the doctors for a pregnancy test, witch came back negative twice, but my blood test came back positive, why do you think this? was it something to do with my hormones or ive old that when you get so far along tests do come back negative, because your hormones of changed is that right? are blood test ever wrong?

I'm a little over 12 weeks pregnant and I always had morning nausea which sometimes ended up with me throwing up but not always. It could always be prevented if I ate something and even if I threw up, I'd feel better once I ate. Now it's just getting worse when I thought it was supposed to be wearing down. Now it doesn't matter if I eat or not, I'll throw it up. Do you think if it's just getting bad now, I'm going to have it throughout my whole pregnancy? I'm not stupid. So I am going to list my signs/syptoms. I am currently 12-13 DPO and I am expecting AF on Thursday this week. Here is what I am experiencing: On this past Friday, which would have been 8 DPO, so implantation could have occured, I got really nauseated about 3pm and I threw up about three times that night ending at 2 am. I have been really nauseated every afternoon since then. My nipples are very tender and the areolas are darker than normal with more goosebumps than normal. I am hungry, but I can only eat about half of what I normally eat. I smoke a very small amount, but when I do go to smoke I cannot even smoke a whole cigarette. I get very nauseated. I am bloated. I have cramps on and off. My lower abdomen feels a little tighter, or bigger, or something. Just feels strange. I am extremely tired. Like since Friday I have am able to go to bed at 10 and sleep til 11 the next morning and then still be tired. I'm emotional. So I am wanting to know if this may sound like I could finally be pregnant. This is month number 5 of TTC our first so we have our fingers crossed. As I said, my period hasn't came yet and it is not due til Thursday. What are your thoughts please? Thanks in advance and baby dust to all!!

Hi all, Im a shift worker and work nights every 2 weeks, usually I have caffeine/energy drinks to stay alert but obviously cant really drink espresso coffees all night anymore, any other foods/drinks that will help me stay awake?? Im sure Ill get taken off nights when I tell my boss when im 12 weeks but until then advise please?

I am 12 days late for my period and I am getting really nervous because I hardly am ever late/nor early give or take 2 days. I took a pregnancy test 7 days (a week) and I KNOW i peed directly on it for the exact amount of time and the test came up blank with no lines. So after about 10 mins i used the same test and peed on it a 2nd time....it came up negative. Im not stressed so I dont know what else it could be. My chest is somewhat painful (which never happens) Just today (12 days) I woke up with a queezy feeling I've also been urinating a lot Lastly I have a great amount of clear discharge I would think these signs wouldn't show up for atleast a month tho if it was signs and symptoms of pregnancy?!

My friend (24) just told me that after her birthday dinner last week, a mutual friend (whom shes known for over 10+ years) told her to go back to his place because she had been drinking while out for her birthday.. he had been drinking too but his place was closer (I had left after 1/2 hour of showing up because I was sick) He invited her back to his apartment to hang out with his other roomates (all who live downstairs so she said they didnt hear anything). She said she kept saying no & tried to push him off & pleaded for him to at least put a condom on but he said "you should be on the pill like all other girls" She left right after & drove home even tho she was drunk (i wish she had called me). I work as a freelance steel pans and drums tutor 5 days a week for approximately 8 hours per day. I love my job but it is quite noisy. I work with kids playing the pans from groups of 5 to 20 and I accompany them on the drum kit so it's music music music all day long. I am 12 weeks pregnant and continuing to work However one of the teachers told me today I should cut down my hours as the music and vibrations is bad for the baby! Is this true?? I can't cut my hours as i'm self-employed and counting on evey penny I make as I have to save up as i don't get much maternity pay (well the government rate of £117 isn't going to get me through the week). Also my boyfriend is out of work so no joy there either. However I don't want to do anything that will harm the baby.

My friend is 12 weeks pregnant. She has been a heavy smoker her entire life (cigarettes and weed). She quit smoking ciggarettes when she found out she was pregnant but is still smoking weed. I have told her how it is not good for the baby and she should stop but she won't listen to me. Are there anyreally bad things that or examples that can happen so I can scare her into quitting. She is 20 years old and pregnant, i have just given birth to my baby 4 weeks ago, and my partners niece keeps calling me fat. my partner says its only a bit of banter, but surely calling somebody who's just given birth fat is very immature and rude. You just don't say things like that. Both her and her mother always call me fat, like they are messing about, but i have had enough. I am only a size 12 for gods sake, they get me so mad. I updated my facebook page saying that my newborn had put weight on and was happy, and my partners bitchy niece made a comment saying " fat like his mummy" ??? well i wasn't happy and messaged back telling her to F off. I know i shouldn't have but it got me so mad. How would you deal with this idiotic family member?. Cos i have to tread carefully with it being my partners young niece. I am 28 years old myself, and i know shes young but when i was 20 i wouldn't have dared called somebody fat. soz for moaning on but i have nobody to tell and its p*****g me off. sorry for the language. I have just had a baby so can't help my moods. oh and to add to that, my partners niece is 6 months pregnant herself so i think its strange she going on calling me fat when shes getting big being pregnant herself????? thanks everyone.

I've just found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant with my first baby (well it'll be 5 weeks tomorrow) and I have an appointment for the midwife at 8 and a half weeks (on 6th Feb) and then I'll have my 12 week scan after that. However, my boyfriend and I are so happy about this baby, I am absolutely terrified at the thought of miscarrying! Can anyone give any advice? I fell pregnant really quickly and I'm worried it'll be snatched away as I was so excited when I found out and I know chances are about 1 in 4 will end in miscarriage. The doctor today didn't really fill me with confidence either with the 'it's very early days, so we don't usually like to build your hopes too much' talk.... Any advice would be greatly appreciated! It's such a long wait another 7 weeks before a scan...would I know if I've miscarried?! Would a pregnancy test still come up positive?! Thanks Thanks so much everyone. Right now I am on implanon and it sucks. I have gained 45 ponds in one year and bleed for 6 weeks, every six weeks. I talked to a obgyn about this and she said it was normal that this was my rythm. But when I went on the implanon website they said it wasnt normal. Also i fall into that .01% of people that most birth controls do not work for. I have five children. the crazy part is that after an accident when I was a child they had to surgically remove half of my uterus and I was told that It there was only a 20% chance that I would ever concieve and only 2% that I would ever carry a child to term. Imagine my shock when I did become pregnant and carried a healthy baby girl for 36 weeks. After that I went on depo one year later exactly I was pregnant again. After that I went on the pill and just to be safe my husband and I used condoms and spermicide. I became pregnant again exactly one year later. With my fourth we decided to use the family planning method. It worked for 3 years until we got a little intoxicated and we blew off the timing. With my fifth I had the Minerna IUD. Despite what they tell you apparently the real statistics are that 1 in 10 get pregnant with this. I went another 3 years before I did get pregnant. Before you say I should get my tubes tied, or do something permanent, this is absolutley out of the question, one because it is a miracle that I became pregnant in the first place and 2 becasue I plan on being a surrogate for my sister in law who cannot have children. Also my mom is like me she had 7 children and my little brother was the result of my mom having her tubes tied and my dad had a vesectomy. 12 years after her 6 my bro was born and I am 22 years older than him. In the meantime I need something with out all the side effects. all the other birth controls I was on, I never got a period at all and didnt gain any wait. I was a size 6 after my 4th child and now I am pushing size 18. Any suggettions would be great or even websites where I can compare different methods.

i was with my ex for 11 years, and split up with him over 3 years ago, he treated me badly and always made me feel bad about myself, obviously my daughter saw this and heard the arguements, any way we both moved on and have both been with our current partners the last couple of years, my daughter wanted to keep in contact with him as he was the only 'dad' she ever knew, so she stays occasionally with him and his girlfriend, me and my ex dont really talk to each other as everytime we do we end up argueing. anyway a couple of months ago my daughter came back from his and was acting up, when i finally got it out of her i was pretty shocked, the girlfriend had miscarried, my daughter finally told me the reason she was so upset was because they had known for weeks that she was pregnant and hadnt told her til afterwards, her anger was when would they have told her if she hadnt had lost the baby? then while my daughter is getting to grips with that they then drop the next bombshell they're getting married!! shes upset because she sees how differently and better her 'dad' treats the girlfriend, and told me that if he had treated me better then it would be me and him getting married, i told her that that wouldnt have happened, and obviously the girlfriend is better for her dad then i was, and this way we are both happier. my daughter is struggling with this and im getting the backlash of it, i want to help her but i dont know how too, if i try and talk to my ex he will just think its because im jealous or something like that any help or advice would be greatly appreciated 1 - i do not want to marry him, it didnt happen when we were together sure as hell isnt happening now!! 2 - crystal leeann thank you, that was why i was considering talking to him, because he is loosing her through his own doing, and he's hurting her, and i just want to protect my baby!

I am anywhere from 6 weeks to 12 weeks pregnant. I go to see the Dr on the 22nd. The reason for not know exactly how far along I am is me having irregular periods. I have been having a small amount of blood tinged discharge today. A small amount on my underwear and some when I wipe. Is this normal in early pregnancy? I've been pregnant 2 other times but I don't remember having that with the other 2. What could it be???

ok so I have admired this guy I used to work with from afar for about 6 months. I often would find him admiring me as well. I have always said that if I quit my job I would ask him out. Well I quit!! Ok, Im calculated to be 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Which was confirmed by ultrasound at 12 weeks....But I went to my GP obstetrician today. Ive changed doctors as I didn't like the last one. Well I was getting a abdominal exam and the doctor said I had a very high uterus for 16 weeks and I seemed more like I was 18 weeks pregnant. Which Im not surprised at really. Im getting bigger already. This is my second pregnancy, well 4th, but only my last pregnancy went full term. Is it possible that they have miscalculated my due date, which is 20th June. For the past two days I have been experience period-like cramps but lighter on and off. My period isn't due for for about 12 days. I went off the pill December 13 and had sex once using a condom about 8 days ago. Are the cramps a pregnancy sign? Also I have been dieting for the last week and probably not getting enough fibre and have been slightly constipated, could that be causing the cramps? I'm just hoping I'm not pregnant. I havnen't had fatigue or nausea or sore breasts.

i missed a couple of birth control pills this month, so i took a plan b pill. now 5 days after that i got my period. This would be the 18th day of my cycle. Last month my cycle was really long like 45 days and it is normally around 35 days i am not very regular at all. Okay a little background information first. Twice this week I have smelled natural gas in my apartment. We had it checked out & was told there wasn't a leak but they still don't know where the smell is coming from. Anyway, I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant & being exposed to natural gas twice in one week can't be good. I have an appointment next week with my ObGyn, but I was wondering if I should try to get in sooner due to these incidents. What's your opinion? Should I wait a week or should I try to get in asap? Thank you for your advice. No I'm not the only one who smells it. My husband can too, and the maintenance guy said he could smell it too. He said it was wind getting near the hot water heater because of a hole in the furnace room.

I am 32 weeks pregnant (8 months) and my unborn daughter's father (whom planned this pregnancy with me) left me at 8 weeks pregnant (2 months.) I am supposed to be 12 1/2 weeks pregnant. I had an ultrasound done at 5 weeks to confirm dates etc, But my uterus (fundal height) is measuring at 17 weeks. I have been feeling flutters occasionally but i'm still not 100% sure if its the baby moving or if its just gas. This is my 2nd pregnancy. When i lay on my back my uterus sticks out just below my belly button and if i lay on my side for a really long time and then roll back onto my back there will be a lump on one side of my tummy. Can an ultrasound really be wrong by dates as much as 5 weeks? At the 5 weeks ultrasound we saw a tiny heartbeat but that was all. I have another ultrasound at the end of the week.

Ok so im on the pill(for 2 yrs) called estelle(or known to some as dianne) ive jus started my sugers on friday but about a week before that i noticed little dark dots on my undies not alot but bout 4 and i fort is that bloood n then thought nothing bout it and a few days late i noticed it again but ive never wiped and there been blood. ive been having a few weird pains in my lower stomach crampy jab sorta things headachs n light headedness maybe a bit queezy. it usualy takes bout 5 days never anymore then 6 to get my period after starting the sugers today is day 5 but usually i get this feeling that im gettin my period and i dont have it ?? my last period was the 11/ 12/ 2008 and i had unprotected sex on the 16/12/2008,21/12/08, 30/12/08 so what do u think?? i've never had anything like this ??

I am pregnant with my fourth and I have had slight nausea, only throwing up maybe two times, same as the other pregnancies. But, with the others it was gone by week 11-12 and I had no problem eating. I am still quite nauseated every night, I can't eat anything, I have no appetite at night, and I have a horrible headache every night. (it makes it hard to cook for the younungs w/o wanting to throw up) Well no appetite all day really, but during the day I can make myself eat. Anyone else out there? I have three boys, can I ask if this is consistent with a girl pregnancy w/o seeming desperate and silly? ;-P

My friends believes that this is possible. She says she's bloated, feels pelvic pressure, fatigue, headaches and light-headed at times. She got her period 12/21/08 so 1/2/08 she would start ovulating. She had unprotected sex Friday 1/3/08.Because sperm can live up to 5 days there is still a possibility she can become pregnant. She also feels in her lower stomach pressure too. We know you can be pregnant and still go through ovulation symptoms. We want to know if there is a POSSIBILITY that she could be pregnant? Of course, we'll have to wait 2 weeks to see if she receives her menstrual but she states she's never felt like this any other time. Please help I have money on this. Oh, and chills.

I am 12 weeks pregnant and starting yesterday, my stomach has been slightly painful, more uncomfortable than painful. I have been mainly feeling it on the lower right and it is not a sharp pain by any means but this is my first pregnancy and I am concerned. I have heard that your uterus stretches over pregnancy and that can cause slight pains. Anyone ever had this?

Hi everyone, im 12-13 weeks pregnant with my second child, i've been getting some horrible pains in my lower stomach like a bubbly feeling but its quite painful, its really hard to describe but its nothing like i felt in my last pregnancy as then it was more like period pains. Thanks ppl

So here are my questions.... According to the calendar I am only 34.5 weeks pregnant and the baby is already weighing in at almost 6lbs. Are the weights they do on the ultrasound usually right, were they right for you (if that applies)? And also my due date done from my Last Period is February 12, but according to the ultrasound my due date is actually February 2 and I am almost 36 weeks. What was right for you, your calendar due date or the ultrasound due date?

Just curious if any of you got pregnant again after a miscarriage. Did you tell everyone right away or wait until second trimester to be safe?

Okay, I took two home pregnancy tests. My last period was December 12. They both came out positive (faint lines). I went to the doctor, that test came out negative. They also did blood work so I will find out Hopefully soon. I would only be 3 weeks prego. Do you think I am pregnant? I have had 3 miscarraiges in the past and am just very nervous and wanted to find out as early as I could. Just wanted some opinions.
