This is my second pregnancy. My daughter is now 9 and I had her at 15. I also had an ectopic 5 months ago and am going in for an ultrasound on friday to meke sure this is in the right place. I am sure it is because my stomach is way too big for 6 weeks and i had no stomach with my ectopic! Also when I was pregnant with my daughter I didnt start showing until about 5-6 months and that is about how big my stomach is now. Is there something wrong? And I know its not gas.

Okay I have to make a long story short....Last period was Sept 17 2008. My cycle is 32 days, and it has been 32 since I had a miscarriage in Jan 07. (I have been keeping track)...Anyhow I was due to start Oct 19th well that has definitely come and gone. I had extremely light spotting the first week of Novenber...reminded me of implantation bleeding that I had with my first pregnancy 1 month before my miscarriage. Well then almost 10 days after I spotted on Nov 13 i started spotting/bleeding and it lasted a little over two weeks. (I didn't even bleed enough to fill a pad...sorry tmi...my normal periods fill 3-4 pads a day)...Well during all this I have had multiple negative tests. I have multiple signs of pregnancy: sore breasts( which have doubled in sze in the last few months), consistent headaches, fatigue, frequent urination, nauseous but no vomiting.....etc. I am going to a free clinic at the end of this week for an ultrasound. Has anyone else gone through what I have....I have had an actual period of over three months...Please give me your input thank you

ok...here goes...i had sex with boyfriend on june1 and he used a condom...june16,stupidly attempted to work things out with exhusband.....same nite i took ambien to help me sleep...we had sex...only to find out next day,he told me he didnt use anything(i cant use hormones for bc,due to cloting disorders)...we were married 15 years,and our youngest is 10.....i found out on july6 by ultrasound i was 6 weeks pregnant,and i "should" of gotten pregnant on or around the 22 of june....i only had sex on june 1,protected and june 16.....does sprem live that long after ejaculation?.....my friends wish it was my ex boyfriends,and honestly i do too.but dont see how its possible?....any advice?

is it possible to be 15 weeks pregnant without the baby showing on ultrasound? If no, than what's the furthest/latest without detecting a baby on ultrasound. BTW, when are u able to feel quickening on average?

I just found out I am pregnant on the 22nd of Dec. I had a blood test done on the 23rd and my HCG was only 15. I also had an ultrasound but there was no evidence of gestation. My doctor said HCG was too low and Im probably not pregnant. Had more tests done: Dec 26- 73 Dec 27- 132 Dec 29- 351 I cant recall when my last period was in Nov. was but I know its somewhere between the 17th-21st. My last recorded sure menstrual period was Oct 21. Because I dont know when my last period was they cant tell me how far along I am in the pregnancy. I just had an ultrasound done yesterday Jan.2.. which showed an empty gestational sac. Im worried that its empty. Is it too soon? They told me to come back in 2 weeks.

I am 9 weeks pregnant,based on an ultrasound I had done about 2 1/2 weeks ago (Jan 15) that said 6 1/2 weeks. I am already starting to show slightly,has anyone else had this? It can't be twins,as there was only one baby,and I was only far enough that it had just started to even resemble a baby,it didn't have any form really. Has anyone else shown at aroung 9 weeks? Im going to give you some information and maybe someone whos been through it before can give me some tips. I had my son in November of 2006- about 6.5 weeks early via emergency c-section. My placenta had ruptured and for some reason I didnt bleed nor did I feel a lot of pain (some pain.. but more of a gut feeling that led me to the doctors at that time to get checked out). My doctor told me that he doesnt know why this had happened for me. We've been trying to get pregnant for about a year now. I was on the depo shot after I had my son (I took it once..) and was on the pill for three months in 2007 (I believe it was aug., sept., and oct.) I had a normal period from November of 2007 until about May of 2008. In May of 08 I was over 20 days late then I had a period (heavy, painful.. scared, taken to the hospital- doubled over from the pain) pregnancy tests said I wasnt pregnant. June of 08 I was 5 days late(not really late I guess..) July of 08 I was on time August of 08 2 days off September of 08 I was over 15 days late- neg. pregnancy tests heavy period October of 08 I was 5 days late November of 08 I was 10 days late (didnt even bother testing..) December of 08 I was 3 days off.. I know that was long but its my history and Im hoping someone can help me with this. Oh and another thing when I got pregnant with my son I had an ultrasound done (I didnt even know I was pregnant) I was told that I had an ovarian cyst. After I had my son I had another ultrasound done and they said that there wasnt a cyst there. Please- Im getting so depressed month after month of not being pregnant. I dont have insurance and we're struggling right now so I cant really go to a doctor to get checked out.. I live in Shreveport LA and I recently moved here (in May..) and I still dont know of any 'free' or 'low income' clinics around here.. Hi ladies, I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and had an U/S at 14 weeks. When they listened to the baby's heart rate on the doppler it was 163 then when the dr. was doing the ultrasound it jumped up to 167. Is this too high or is it normal? The baby was moving a lot during the ultrasound also. Thanks ladies! The doctor said he was sure it was a boy lol but now im wondering.. Thanks ladies!

im only 15. Im nervous and I have no idea what to expect. I know it all depends but I don't have an appointment for an ultrasound until the middle of January which puts me at about 10 weeks. I'm just curious to know what my chances are of having twins are. Twins run on my mom's side. She actually was pregnant with twins but lost one, I've always been told that twins like to skip a generation so I didn't know if that was true or not. This is my second time being pregnant. (I had an abortion previously at 15 weeks back in May of this year) This pregnancy I have been a lot more tired and 20 times more cramping. I feel like I'm showing already because I don't feel bloated but I think my tummy is starting to protrude some but I don't know if that's possible. I've always wanted to have twins when I got pregnant so I have a weird feeling that I might be but then again its probably just wishful thinking. What do you guys think? lol

okay i'm 15 and i was pregnant with my first baby. today i went to the doctor for a usual checkup. when they did the ultrasound, they said there was no heartbeat and that there was no definite reason why, but just this morning she was kicking. i cannot believe this happened.. and now i just am in shock and all i can do is cry. my fiance is pretty upset too..i really grew to love the baby, even though she was extremely unplanned. now i just don't know why this happened to me. and no this is not a joe and i am 100% serious. did you ever think that maybe someone else was on my account? like my little sister lyndsay perhaps?

been to the doc yet. they were booked until dec 15 and then where i live in oregon we got like 3 ft of snow. so i had to cancel my app cause the roads were to bad to drive on. anyways what do you think the chances are of me getting a ultrasound today cause today is my first app. so i was hoping they might schedule the same day. i have always found out the sex of my baby at 16 weeks and its killing me i just want to know well bubbles apparently i did make another app since it is today dumb ass maybe you should read the whole story instead of only the words you can sound out.

Well, they didn't call me into the doctors office, they just ''guessed'' what i had over the phone, which REALLY pissed me off to begin with. I have been on Flagyll, which I was allergic to, and Keflex, which didn't help. So, I went to the hospital yesterday because I was in so much pain and they determained that I have a bladder infection. They prescribed me Amoxicillan and monistat because the Keflex gave me a yeast infection. Really what I'm trying to say is that all this medicine I am taking is really scaring me. I'm afraid of what the outcome of the baby might be because I've constantly been sick and on antibiotics. We did an ultrasound yesterday, and everything looked really really well. The baby was very active. Do you think that the baby will come out okay and be healthy even though I have taken all this medicine. I'm so upset, I don't even know what to do. I feel like I'm killing my baby.. and I want this child so bad. I want him or her to be healthy. Please give me adivce on what you think. Will the baby be okay? All the answers are greatly appreciated..

The blood work for it came back saying my chances were high but the doctor told me it could be my hormones and I also had the nuchal translucency ultrasound which he said looked fine. But to be on the safe side i went ahead and had the Amniocentesis to find out for sure but i have to wait 2 weeks, I was just wondering what are my chances and should i be preparing for the worse outcome now because im really scared and thinking the worse.

I had my first ultrasound today, the baby's heartrate was 125, is that normal? Has anyone also heard the old wives tale that when its a slower heartbeat, its a boy, has that ever turned out to be true for any of you? I even got to hear the heartbeat. Also I am 6 weeks 4 days pregnant, due on August 15. Ultrasound tech said it was normal

ugh I hate how I made this stupid mistake...my boyfriend knows so atlest I dont have to hide it... basically. I had sex in aug with this black guy (menching he's black because if it is his it will come out black and then my boyfriend will see and leave me!) anyways...last time I had sex with the black guy was aug 24th.....then I had a normal period from what I remember on aug 27th..... then I had sex with my boyfriend in sept sometime and got pregnant. my ultrasound from 6 weeks and 8 week ultrasoun measured where my conception would be in sept, like sept 7-15.... so Im trying to convice my self that the facts are...I had a normal period and the EARLY ultrasounds showed how far I was and my conception date. is it any way possible given those facts that I conceived in aug with that other guy??? plus we couldnt hear the heartbeat at 9 weeks so if it was the other guys I would have been around 11 weeks and heard it.... ( heard the heartbeat at 12 weeks) sorry if confusing just stressing and cant stop thinking about it

So is the due date about right, and Is it possible for me to be 15weeks? My original OB says my due date is May 28th and another lady I went to before I got my original OB said my due date was also May 28th...... But NOW another Ultrasound lady said I was 17weeks and due may 24, but that's impossible because that doesn't even ad up and I was tod may 28th was my date, and I didn't have sex until after the 26th of August, because that's when my hubby got a 1month leave before he left to Iraq? Does that mean my baby is big? and they say my baby weighs 6oz right now??? I'm soo confused, do I just have a big baby?

I was on the depo shot for 10 yrs. i am married and decided that we might want kids so i stopped the shot but never started having a period. i spotted a couple of times. Found out i was pregnant. The nurse said at least 15 weeks but the ultra sound said 13 weeks. you can see jaw bone and eye sockets. what do you think? ultrasound this week. so i will know for sure.

Heres mine... I missed my period fainted lines on test positive result on digital test HD confirmed pregnancy started bleeding went to ER and docs did a regular ultrasound found the yolk sac and told me I was high risk.. then sent me home. Bled more... went to a different ER and had a vaginal ultrasound done. found the baby and heart beat. was told that the blood was in my ovaries like a period and that my hormones just hadn't taken over and that everything was going to be ok. finally stopped bleeding a few weeks later.... NEVER went to a doc till I was about 19 weeks Found a doc and she sucked so didn't keep her... she was rude!! and did nothing for me. NEW DOC... well, they didn't take medicaid... so I left them. and another doc!! and he was the best doc I could ever have. he was my doc only for a few weeks :( I quit smoking cold turkey SEPTEMBER 15. I took a bath SEPTEMBER 18-20 something.. somewhere between and discovered something odd... water coming out of me. I went to the hospital and they said it was just water from the tub... but then told me I had to stay due to HIGH blood pressure and sudden preeclampsia. I was at the one hospital for about 2-3 days and finally MY DOC sent me hours away to a better hospital where premature babies are delivered. I couldn't handle the pain they were putting me through and so it stressed me so bad babys heart rate was going up and so they tried to dialate me at 33 weeks 4 days... it didn't work... the next morning my son was delivered by c-section. he was 3 pounds 13 oz and i think 15 inches long he had no problems and needed no oxygen. he was in NICU for almost 2 weeks. he is now 10 pounds 2 oz and 22 inches long!! I don't know if quitting cold turkey had anything to do with the preeclampisa. I do know a week before I was put in the hospital and before I was swollen I drank and whole bottle of sour head liquid candy. seems after that was when I started swelling. I had fluids on my lungs when I was in the hospital and was having so many problems the docs were thinking I was dying and ran all kinds of tests. was having heart problems... trouble breathing when I'd lay on my back... felt like pressure from the baby was weighing on my chest. It was a horrible experience. After I was out of the hospital I went home ONE night and the other nights I stayed at the RONALD MCDONAL house so I could see my baby every day and take him milk. I didn't get much of a break. lol Oh yeah. another thing. My sister in law was 29 weeks pregnant and she had her baby on the same day as I had mine... september 25. that day is also my step fathers birthday. she had her baby natural early because she had a bad gas blockage... gas? yup.... gas pretty much pushed the baby out.... the end. now share yours :D He's no longer gettin breast milk though!! he drinks about 4 oz every 2-4 hours.

My friend here at work is also pregnant shes 17 weeks today and went for her afp about 2-3 weeks ago well she got a positive for downs she has an appt to get an ultrasound on monday at 9:00 has anyone got a posive and later found out it was wrong? The dr said that she took her test way to soon and i think that was the case i am 23 weeks and i just took mine at 17 weeks i think that they did it to early she was like barely 15 when they did it any respoces will help im trying to ease her! thanks!

My stepsister is 39 weeks pregnant and has been having some really bad complications over the last several weeks. The day before Thanksgiving she started to have contractions and headed for the hospital. They sent her home dilated at one centimeter and not fully effaced. The following Saturday she returned to the hospital yet again with contractions, this time she was dilated to 2 and was fully effaced. The docs prescribed her mag sulfate and shipped her home. About a week passed and she went to the hospital again this time thinking her water had broken. They told her that the twin that she miscarried in the 13th week still had an amniotic sac and it had busted. They upped her dose and shipped her home again. She quit taking the mag sulfate and swapped it for sex and castor oil. She has an apparent leak in her amniotic sac which is noticeable from the weekly ultrasounds that they've been doing every week. She's gone from having 12 liters to 8 to 7.5 in two weeks! On top of that they diagnosed her with a bad liver infection. Today she found out that her unborn son is now losing weight. He went from being six and a half to five and a half in a week. To add to that stress her doctor is postponing her c-section until the 2nd of January because he is going out of town for the holidays. She has been to the same hospital 15 times in the last three weeks. If there is anything you might suggest for me to tell her I am all ears. I don't want my nephew to be an unhealthy baby. I am not the one pregnant. Honest to God. Please refrain from using phrases like "you" in your answers. This is for my stepsister.

So I am starting my 11weeks pregnant today... Last week I went to doc first time and wanted ultra sound to make sure everything okay and they refused instead only giving me routine blood work but did not even take blood test of my HCG levels... Well I decided to call today to get the result of the 10 tubes of blood and find out what they really were testing for and the nurse told me they dont have the results yet... Isnt that weird for them to not be in its been over a week since they took the blood?!?! Well then Last week i went to my reg doc and had them get the HCG test done and had result very next day... so I am confused why this doctor cant get the results within a few days espiecially its the same damn blood lab! well besides the point i am stressed of having a repeat m/c (I m.c at end of week 12 last time) and now they still have nothing to show i am okay... I asked the nurse what can i do about the doc refusing to give me the ultrasound because I should be on high risk and i feel shes doing nothing to treat me that way and reassure me everything is fine... plus during examine she couldnt measure the size of my uterus... so i am freaking out more since ive had the appt then when I did not get in al alll... well this was my advice from her she said to go to a hospital (she gave me a certain one in the next city bout 15 mins away and said they will take me and do the ultra sound and everything) I told her i am not bleeding... and she said just to go in and say i am cramping and they take care of it... so I do not know if I should go do it for the piece of mind i just want to know everything is okay and i dont like the idea of lying about symtoms i do not really have i have some cramping but not constant pain... but i am worried and know that not good... any advice what to do??? also is it weird shes just telling me to go to the hospital rather then getting the doc to write the thing to just got get the damn ultrasound!?!? If it helps i am on state aid right now medi-cal until end of january becaus emy health insurance kicks in beginning of feb. so the hospital doesnt cost anything but a few hours of time they keep me there. But they told me I was high risk because the previous miscarriage happening... so thats why I am so confused!

I had my first ultrasound and I was so scared because I had a miscarriage and became pregnant before my period. I didn't go to the doctor because I was so nervous because my last ultrasound wasn't good. I went for the first time and they just did test. the next week I was 15 weeks and my baby moved so much they couldn't even get good pictures. The best day of my life and to hear that little heart beat race. What did you think on first ultrasound?

I am 4 weeks pregnant from my LMP and yesterday(12/15/08) I went into my OB and they did a urine pregnancy test that came up negative, but 3 days before I had taken 3 urine tests that all came up positive. So my doctor decided to do an ultrasound, and a blood test. The ultrasound seemed to look normal. Well today(12/16/08) I started bleeding heavily, as if I was getting my period, I had mild cramping and no blood clots, the blood seemed very watery. I also got my blood test results back, and it showed that I had an HCG level of 11. I'm supposed to go in later today to get more blood work to see if my HCG levels have gotten any higher. Well my doctor said he thinks that I am having a biochemical pregnancy..whatever that is..But my question is, could I have had a miscarriage today, or is it possible that the bleeding is something else, and why are my HCG levels so low? I'm really worried.

Ok, So I've been TTC for a while and just found out yesterday that I am pregnant. I'm going to the doctor on Monday. I have a lot of random questions that I decided to group all together. Answer what you can please! My 15 month old still nurses. I heard that the taste of breastmilk changes when you get pregnant and sometimes they quit nursing? Has that happened to you? Did anyone else stop seeing their OB/GYN after their baby was born, then have to go back when pregnant with #2 and get scolded? (I know my doctor is going to fuss at me when I come in, lol!) The timing isn't too great because we're moving in a few weeks and now I'm afraid to help him carry furniture. In your first trimester how much weight can you carry? My last pregancy didn't show her gender until the third ultrasound at like 5 or 6 months pregnant. What is the earliest that you can generally see what gender it is? (I NEED to know as soon as possible. My family is already making bets and since my mom was so obnoxiously right last time I must prove her wrong! Weird I know... lol. Actually, I'm happy either way, boy or girl.) Has anyone else here been posting in TTC and recently got pregnant?! Congrats to you!!! I think I'm going to be spending more time in baby names now! My name list has gotten so long I don't know what to do. One more question: Did you find that your second pregnancy was easier or harder in terms of things like morning sickness, etc. Because I've been feeling a little sick here and there but I remember with my first baby by this time i felt sick constantly.

I went into the doctor today to be checked out after being in the ER on Saturday. They did my internal ultrasound and a ultrasound on my stomach. The one on my stomach was fine, doctor said baby looked great and everything. When they did the internal u/s it showed my placenta lying low and the doctor said thats what was most likely causing the bleeding. She told me not to worry about it for now because it will most likely move up. Anyone had to deal with this around 15 weeks. I am scared and nervous for both me and baby.

I am 12 weeks pregnant. I am high risk due to 2 miscarriages within the past 6 months and preeclampsia with my son who is 15 months now. I kept having bleeding and cramps and sometimes contractions this whole pregnancy so far. I would go to my doctor (sometimes they told me just to lay down). They did 5 emergency ultrasounds and concluded everytime that I was over reacting and the blood was probably from my cervix but they weren't sure. I switched doctors with the feeling that something was wrong and with one ultrasound I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa. Which caused the bleeding and the cramps, and now I am being watched very closely. Can I sue my previous doctor for not diagnosing what could be a life threatening condition after 5 ultrasounds and 2 ER visits?

so I slept with someone before in the month of augest and then I had my period aug 27th and im pregnant 15 weeks...so my concepte date to the docotors is like sept 7-15th...but is it possible I got pregnant aug 25 and had a normal period? and also have the ultrasound

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and It didnt really miscarry untill 15 weeks. Well Im pregnant agian and its before a my period. Im suppose to be 14 almost 15 weeks and I havnt had a ultrasound so Im very worried. In the morning my stoach is hard but it goes away during the day. Does that mean im ok?

i guess i can start by thanking who ever replies to me and to those mothers and the ones pregnant am sure really understand my concern, i had an AFP test done a little over a week ago the doctor thought it might be too early but did it anyway i have n idea why, anyway after that she sent me to get an ultrasound to verify how far along i really was since the test should be 15-20 weeks at the ultrasound they told me i was 14 weeks and 5 days and yesterday my doctor called me with the results for the afp she said it was positive for down syndrome and i have been devistated ever since i am hoping it was just because it was done early i did ask my doctor if the test could be done again and she said no what do think i mean i cant eat or sleep or stop crying i will love my baby regardless of anything but i think all parents hope and want a healthy normal baby please help i am not too sure whats goin on and i do not want to do an amnio.... test

I'm 18. My period started when I was 11 and has been regular since I was 13, every 30-31 days for 5 days. I have been to two different doctors, done tons of urine and blood tests, they've ruled out hypothyroidism, PCOS, UTI, bladder infection, or hormone issues. Pregnancy IS possible but I've gotten negative urine tests. My very low blood test count was at less than 15 when I was at my women's doctor mid-November. I haven't had an ultrasound done. If I miss the period that is due in a week then I've missed 4. I've gone through plenty of supposed pregnancy symptoms but I honestly don't ... feel? pregnant. My fiance and sister-in-law aren't convinced that I'm not, especially the sister who got preggers on depo. I don't use birth control. I don't have any STDs. I need some ideas here really, not a diagnosis, really just some things to present to my doctor. Symptoms: started out 3 months ago with mood swings, extreme fatigue, nausea with cravings, stronger sense of smell and about 2 weeks ago most of those went away leaving me with little pains when I move a lot/quickly (like playing with the niece or children I babysit, or turning fast when doing dishes) in my lower abdomen, slight weight gain (maybe 4-6 pounds fluctuating), and of course the mood swings have calmed down but are still there. Oh, and I have wanted/eaten/loved sauteed mushrooms with biscuits and gravy the entire time. What do you think??

ok here we go.i`m 15 and pregnant well I have a girl that I went to school with that she is pregnant too.we go to the same doctor and everything..my due date is may the 15th which makes me 17w5d well her due date is may the 6th but shes saying shes only 15 weeks.i don't see how that is?and another thing is may the 15th i`ll be 10 months and they only got her 9 months that's why she saying she is due before me but im farther then her.she said that her ultrasound sound tech told her she wouldn't carry the baby the whole 9 calendar months but 10 months..i don't get it please help!!! a pregnancy last 9 months buts calendar months some months have more then 4 weeks

I was supposed to be 14 weeks pregnant and I know that was correct because I was monitoring my cycles very closely, used a fertility monitor, knew when I ovulated, had 3 blood tests to check hcg levels and they matched up exactly to my ovulation date, had a ultrasound at 5.5 weeks and saw a fetal pole/sac etc. I had an u/s few days ago and the baby measured 15 weeks rather than 14 weeks. Should I be worried? What are some reasons that the baby would measure bigger? God forbid, it doesn't indicate abnormality, does it?? My obgyn wasn't concerned at all but now that I'm home, I'm worrying.

I'm not really sure about what my question is, I guess I'm just looking for other people's opinions on the situation. I'll give you the background info (and try to keep it as short as possible for you): - biological mother and father married very young (16 and 19) for all the wrong reasons (trying to escape their parents) - I was born, their first and only child, 5 years after they were married - 1 year after I was born, my biological mother filed for divorce - at first she took me with her, hid me from my father - eventually she grew tired of having me and gave me back to my father - dispite the fact that they had joint custody, I haven't seen my biological mother since I was 3 - my father met a woman when I was 5 - this woman had one son from a previous marriage (who was 4 years older than me) - by the time I was 7, my father and I were moving into a home with her and her son - the woman became my only mother-figure in life, I called her mom and I called her son my brother - my father and this woman never married, however did buy several houses and cars together, and lived as husband and wife would - over the years my father found various ways of abusing me, phyiscally and verbally - over the years, his "wife" was in denial about the abuse towards me - my father never laid a hand on her nor on her son, only me - the state became involved in our family numerous times, investigating the abuse and sending my father to anger management - I was a bit of a rebellous teen, never did my homework and constantly having crushes on boys...my father was very old-fashioned, raised as a strict-Mormon, and he believed his "abuse" of me was actually punishment for my bad behaviors...he also at times felt the need to punish me for my biological mother's bad behaviors when I was a younger child - the last time my father spoke to me was when I was 15, he threw a bottle of pills at me and told me to kill myself via over-dosing - I obeyed what he told me to do, this was not the first time I had hurt myself for him - shortly after this incident, I moved into a group home where my father remained my guardian however neither he nor my "step mom" ever contacted me - I tried to call home but they just hung-up the phone and wouldn't talk to me, this went on for 3 years - after I turned 18, I moved out of the group home and wrote a letter to my step mom - she responded and we began to try to rebulid our relationship - she seemed happy to know I was engaged to my high-school sweetheart and had a good management job in the housekeeping feild - we talked on the phone and even met in person once for lunch, everything was great until I applied for college - when I applied for college she became upset, told me that there was no point in my attending college - frustrated that she couldn't just be proud of me for trying to make something of myself, I told her I needed a break from communications with her - since then my address has changed twice, my phone number has changed three times - my high-school sweet-heart and I broke up - I moved out of state, met a new man, got married, etc... - when I got engaged to the man who is now my husband, I called home, there was no answer so I left a message on the machine letting them know that I had moved out of state and was getting married on such-and-such date Currently my husband and I are very happy. We have a nice apartment, his military career is thriving, and we are pregnant with our first child (a healthy baby boy, due in Feb). My studies are going well, and I am lucky enough that my husband makes enough that I can stay home with the baby and go to school online, rather than having to work and send our child to day-care. I feel somewhat gulity that I'm 7 months pregnant and they don't even know...my step mom always looked forward to being a grandma...I wrote them a Christmas card that says "My husband and I are happy to tell you that your grandson is expected to arrive in Feb '09. Congratulations." and I included a copy of my 20-week ultrasound in the card. I haven't sent the card yet...I'm still debating if I should bother. Also, if I send the Christmas card, I'm unsure if I should include a return address. Currently they do not have my address or phone number therefore they could not write back. However if I include a return address, they might write back. would also like to include, while living in the group home, I recieved therapy for my abuse and was able to work through much of my childhood traumas and in the past few years I've worked hard to lead a balanced, healthy life-style I may be a young wife and mom-to-be (I am 22) however for the first time in my life I feel happy, as if I finally am where I should be. so please do not suggest therapy...I'm simply struggling to decide if I should allow my step-mom back into my life for the sake of my son, or if my son and I would be better off without her around. Hi! Well, my boyfriend and I live several states away from each other for the time being. Anyway, I will be visiting him at the end of the year when I will be 15 weeks pregnant. He will then come and visit me around 18-20 weeks (whenever the doctor schedules my anatomical ultrasound). Because he hasn't been around, I feel like the pregnancy isn't as real to him as it is to me (although he is very excited about it). Well, I want to do a 3D/4D ultrasound one of the times that we're together so that he can see the baby and experience it more. I am a little impatient and would love to do it at 15 weeks when I'm there (it would be an amazing surprise), but I feel like that's a little early. Anyway, what do you think? Would you do it at 15 weeks or suck it up and wait until he comes down here? Thanks in advance for your answers!

I'm 16 weeks and 5 days pregnant! I just don't feel pregnant ...my boobs haven't been sore since i was about 8/9 weeks...i have slight pains in my tummy or "down" there anyway ...i'm so worried, I went to the consultant 2 weeks ago for a checkup ...she wasn't very nice, couldn't find heartbeat so they gave me an ultrasound scan and they could see the heartbeat (i couldn't really) and then just told me to make an appointment in 3 weeks time and that was it, my urine sample was fine too ....i just felt they didn't bother to assure me it was fine? i was panicking when the women couldn't find anything ... I ha vent felt any movement either, I am really curvy! my friend felt hers when she was about 15 weeks?! am just so worried, its my first pregnant, no-one in my family has suffered miscarriages either... I feel like an idiot going to the doctor worrying, he isn't that approachable either ...i just want to check heartbeat or something at least to put my mind at ease! I have backache too, which i got told is a sign ...of miscarriage :( what do you think?! what symtoms should I be having?! or feelings ...

Im 22 weeks pregnant and I haven't gain any weight since I found out I was pregnant is this normal? I started being 15 lbs overweight to begin with it could that be a factor? My 2nd question is my doctor wouldn't let me have an ultrasound to find out the baby's gender only if I have a medical necessity i thought that the doctor had to offer the ultrasound or no im confused?

I was in a relationship for almost 5years with my babys father. Im now 20 weeks pregnant and he walked out when i was 15 weeks. He says it because of the fighting and he cant be with just one girl. He got on drugs really bad and is really mean to me. He hasnt been here for me at all because hes to busy hanging out with young girls and his trashy friends. Well 7 months ago we found out she was pregnant she was so happy that she started crying I was shocked cause she was on birth control both and we never were planing to have kids on till later. Our families are so happy its really like wow when I saw my baby on the ultrasound it really send a chill though me spin and said to myself "That's my daughter" and I started crying. Well I train from 8 AM to 12 PM Everyday I'm an athletic Since I was 5 Years old, I play Varsity Baseball,Basketball and Football and grew up a tough guy. But I was thinking do i know what I'm getting myself into with a baby? Do I know how to raise a girl I mean I'm always been an athletic real manly guy I don't even know the basics of a little girl. I really scared that it really hurting me just now I'm going to be a dad next week I'm really scared confused and just don't know what to expert. I would ask for because but I really don't know how because everything I have ever got I got by myself I don't I sound like a little pussy because I'm scared but what do I do about this?

We had unprotectec sex on 18 October (turns out it was my ovulation day). I suspected that I may have conceived,and took a home pregnancy test.It was negative. On 13 October I had slight bleeding,thought it was my period coming,but it only lasted for 1 day,after that I has slight spotting for another day or two.I did a blood test,also negative.I went to see my docter,did an ultrasound and she told me my uterus lining was thickend(13mm) and there was some fluids that concerned her.She suspected an ectopic pregnancy.Did 2 more blood tests 4 days apart,both negative.I went back for another ultrasound and it showd a cist on my left ovary,but also shows a sac,and if measured, +- 5 weeks. My next period is supposed to start on the 28 November. She told me to wait and if it doesnt come i have to go back for another ultrasound.She also said it could be an early pregnancy. There is a 30% chance of being pregnant, and 70% that is is like a false pregnancy.Has this happened to anyone? I have one girl, 15 months,and with her my bloodwork was positive when I was 3 weeks pregnant! I feel pregnant,but dont want to get my hopes up for nothing! Has anyone had negative pregnancy tests but was still pregnant?Why would there be a sac that is obviously growing (5 weeks already) if you are not pregnant?

its been 6 weeks since i lost my baby i went to the doctors the 15 of this month for my 3rd follow up after the miscarriage i took a test and it came up negative it was told to me that i would get my period by november 10th but it never came. so then they told me my period should arrive in 6-10 weeks which leaves me with 4 weeks to go. so i went to the doctors today because since the miscarriage i have been feeling something odd in my stomach at certain times when i poked at it, it hurt , or one day i'll feel it on my left side then go to sleep wake up the next day it has moved to my right side or below my belly button. he felt up my uterus while pressing down on the lower part if my stomach and i didnt feel any pain, so they want me to go in for an ultrasound one day next week. my stomach is still kind of hard and as well i still have like a little pudge along with the little line that comes later on when your pregnant i have felt my abdomen on 2 occasions this week n its feels firm and when i poke at tha it bounces back out.but before it was as flat as a black board after i lost the baby. i have felt my breast and they are not as firm as they use to when i was pregnant. i HAVENT had sexual intercourse since 2 days BEFORE the lost of my baby(PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THAT PART) and my baby father didn't pull out more than likely because every time we had sexual intercourse while i was pregnant he never did. everyone know that sperm can live up to 72 hours or 3 days in a females body as far as my urine goes it is a light pale yellow color and that was the color when i was pregnant and now im starting to use the bathroom frequently(as of 2 days ago). like a few moments ago i almost didnt make it to the bathroom and once i finished my urine was still pale yellowish. for the first time in 6 weeks i ate 3 different meals within 1 and 1/2 hour time period in one day. i mean if that possible im putting all my faith in GOD that he can pull this one off 4 me and no im not going to give up because ive been praying on it , and i know in my heart that only he can work a miracle. so is it possible that another egg has been fertilized in my uterus? should i expect to probaly see something when i go for an ultrasoundd next week? should i take a home preggo test tomorrow morning since my urine will b stronger in the morning when i wake up ? could i still be pregnant? if i was to be pregnant , is it possible for me not to get as many symptoms that i had when i was pregnant?(even though my only symptoms were fatigue,frequent urination, change of appetite, and missed period and moodiness) just keep me in your prayers (even though i dont know you guys) and just pray that everything will go alright and turn into something good within the next 3 weeks thanku you so much

I'm pregnant for the first time after 15 yrs TTC. My first HCG came out at 131. They didnt see anything in ultra sound but said I was too early. I cant go by my last period because I skip around. Would anyone have any idea about how far along I might be? They are gonna retest in 1 week to check levels and then another ultrasound 1 week after that. I cant stand the waiting and cant even guess my due date. My last period started on Sept. 28 and ended Oct. 1 but I skipped August so not sure about how my ovulation went or when I even ovulated. Any help would be much appreciated!!!
