So im 17 weeks pregnant. The father and i were a couple and were actually trying for a baby. He's in the army national guard and goes back to afghanistan at the end of the year and we wanted the baby to be born before then. Well i became pregnant as soon as we started trying. We told his family that i was pregnant and they were furious. His mom does not like me because i am puerto rican and she thinks all latina women are easy. Anyways i guess his mom gave him an ultimatum and without telling me anything at all, he just got me off. He never gave me and excuse. Just stopped answering my calls and texts. Anyways i dont know his address. Hes living with his mom and i dont know his social. I know his full name, date of birth, phone number, hes in the new york national guard, i know the exact day at time he got surgery at the VA hospital in the bronx. Would the courts be able to find him for child support? I never thought it would come to this but he wanted this baby more than i and i feel he needs to be responsible for our daughter in some way. ok that did not help at all. I didnt ask for all that. I have my own private insurance. I do not need anything from him except for his to participate in some way with our son once he is born. Keeping it as short & simple as I can: I came on my period Feb. 15, 2010 and it lasted for about 5 days. (pretty normal) Had unprotected sex March 1st, 2nd, 5th & 6th My menstrual cycle has pretty much always been irregular, coming every 3 weeks or so instead of 4 ( For ex: Since my last period was 2/15/10 the next one would be expected to come around 3/10 or so) Well, my period came on March 14, but it ended yesterday on the 17th. My periods are normally pretty heavy but this one was not that bad, although it was NOT spotting. I was bleeding and I had to use pads, not pantyliners, but it was different from all of my other periods. I'll also throw in here that I had a miscarriage on Aug.11, 09 when I was 12wks (Just in case this piece of info helps come up with a better answer) I just want to know if there is a chance that I could be pregnant again.. Ok so I know this sounds dumb but this is a serious question. My sister is almost 23 weeks pregnant & due July 17th. Her last period was October 9th, 2009. She had sex October 17th with one guy but it was quick and he pulled out before he came, we know you can still get pregnant from pre-cum. On October 24th she had sex with her ex boyfriend without a condom and he didn't pull out. The 24th was her big ovulation day and according to her due date that is the day she conceived. She's not totally sure which one is more likely to be her babies father. Both guys know that she's pregnant and not completely sure who is the father. I am 17 years old, and while I have a period every month, they are usually irregular. My last period was the beginning of February. Usually February messes up my cycle anyway, especially if it is at the beginning. This month has been a whirlwind. On the fifth, I became extremely sick for three days with the norovirus, which put me in the hospital for dehydration. I have also been having some emotional problems over the loss of a family pet, the depression of my mother, and with a teacher at school, but I don't believe they are enough to cause me to skip a period. I'm also a senior, getting ready for graduation in June. This month has also been crazy with school schedules; this is the first full week we have had this month. Also, DST has made me quite tired. I am in a relationship, but we are not sexually active. It's a healthy, loving, drama-free relationship. What could be wrong with me? I maybe miss one month out of the year period-wise, but I'm paranoid...

I've never had heartburn before. I am almost 17 weeks pregnant and now know what heartburn feels like. Everytime I lie down or burp (and I burp all the time) it feels like fire is running up my chest and throat. I hate it. Is there anything besides tums that I can take? Ok... I feel pregnant. I haven't had my period but thats no surprise cause my period isn't regular. I'm 17 but I'm not sure if my age matters. I had sex 5 weeks ago tomorrow and have taken 4 pregnancy test so far. one at 3 weeks and 2 at 4 weeks and they all were negative. I haven't went to the doctor yet and that will probably be my next move... I'm just wondering if I should trust my body even though so many of my pregnancy tests were negative. Its so confusing.

It is VERY uncomfortable, and really only acts up when I am sitting down not standing. Is this normal? I am not very big-have only gained about 17 pounds in 26 weeks and still in regular clothes with bella band.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I've only had one ultrasound at 17 weeks. I don't have a scanner so I can't put the pics up to show you'll what they look like. I have two pics that shows the gender of my baby and in one of them there is clearly two lines and in the other one there is clearly three dots. The ultrasound tech said that she was very certain that I was having a girl b/c of the three dots. But I'm a little worried that it might have been too soon to tell the sex. I talked to my OB about my concerns and he assures me that the ultrasound pics are accurate and correct. I hope he's right b/c me and my fiancee have bought tons of pink items for my daughter. So my question is, If your having a girl, is there three dots on your ultrasound pics? And, how accurate would the ultrasound pic be since I got it at 17 weeks? My OB says that I don't need another ultrasound b/c there isn't a serious reason for one so now I just have to wait till she's born to make sure the sex was correct.

My last menstrual cycle started on Feb. 13th. On the 17th I was active, and many other days each week of this month. (this may be tmi, but I need to be honest to get the truth!) because i can only fall asleep when i lay on my left side and every other position hurts....im only 17 weeks pregnant...is this normal?

I hate my cycle! I'm cycle day 17 and no LH surge yet. I ovulated last month on day 22. It seems like the days go by soooooooooooo slowly when TTC. The 2 weeks wait is a killer! But because my first half of my cycle is so incredibly long I feel like I'm waiting on something ALL MONTH. I've been looking at baby names, & crib bedding to help pass the time... It's Clomid for me next cycle if I don't get pregnant this month, so I guess that's something to look forward too. I already have the prescription in hand, it's so hard to wait ladies! How do you ladies cope with ALL the waiting?

I am 18 years old i just graduated from high school last year in may 09. iv been with the same girl for about two years and 3 months and was in a long distance relationship with her for the first year and a half. in jan of 09 she got pregnant(she was 16 at the time and now 17) and i knew the baby was mine, so i decided to go to the army i completed basic training but before i left i asked her to marry me she told me yes... we ended up getting married the day i graduated from basic training but when my son was born i was in AIT (Advanced Individual Training) and army let me come home to see the birth of my child but the fatherhood kicked in after that. when i went back to training the army sent me home giving me a separation from active duty on NOV 17, 09.. i love my son to death and would do anything for him, he is currently six month old and iv been living with my wife for the past four months and we've been married for 7 months.... these four months have been the hardest months of my life i am new to marriage and still very young. it sucks to realize this after im already married. i was naive and didnt know the emotional drag of being married at such a young age would have on me. im getting a job next week but for the past few months i have been taking care of my son since i moved in from 7 to 5 in the afternoon while my wife goes to high school.. my wife is always upset at me and has no humor i always try to keep the spark but she always has an attitude and its driving me crazy, we argue everyday and its always because she gets mad over little things and everytime i tell her the truth about some thing she takes it offensive, and to top it all off she never lets go of the past..... i want to leave her so bad but i cant because i want to see my son everyday..... what do i do i cant take it i need advice iv never been more unhappy in my life please help me

Hello i am 17 years old and petite, i am 34 weeks pregnant, ill be 35 weeks on tuesday. Ever since sunday i have been having a lot of pressure above my vagina, and i have had a lot of lower back pain and contractions all week everyday ( braxton hicks ) well today i started to have some pain with these contractions but as of now they have subsided. I have been at the hospital four times, and twice they had to give me a shot to stop my labor.Yesterday i had diaherra all day and i have had menustral like cramps. Could i be in early labor i see my ob tomorrow for my doctor appointment when i tell her these things will she check my for dilation....im afraid i could be dilating because this pressure is a lil painful but like i have said ive been having a lot of pressure lately....my baby shower is sunday so idk.....

I am 17 weeks pregnant and for the past two weeks I have been extremly exhausted. When I wake up the in the mornings it takes everything I have to get out of the bed, and within minutes I want to climb back in and go to sleep. I thought I was supposed to feel better during this time. My nausea is pretty much gone, so that is wonderful. I have zero energy now. I walk about 3 times a week and do yoga and nothing is helping. I am healthy, taking my vitamins and all of that. What can I do (if anything) to try to feel better. Will this go away for a little while at least before my last trimester? Please help! Also, my blood pressure was lower at my last appointment, while not too low it was just lower...could this have something to do with it? While I was at the doctor's office I didn't bring this up because those appointments go by so quickly and I am so excited to hear the baby's heartbeat that I forget what questions I wanted to ask.... And...I am getting 28mg of iron a day with my prenatal vitamins...do I need more than this?

My fiance and I were together a little over a year. We had talked about starting a family early and then getting married. We had a bad month and everything changed...he changed. He said that he needed time away from me to think about our relationship. Then two days later I call him to see what is going on and he told me that he didn't want to be with me anymore and that he found someone new that makes him happy again. I told him about a week before this that I thought I might be pregnant. When I went to the doctors I took a urine test and yep I was pregnant. I called him right after my appointment and he said that he wanted me to have an abortion. Now I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and he is dating this new girl. I am used to doing this walk and walk it fairly often but now by the time I get into town I have been feeling faint and almost blacked out. My iron levels are fine, I have been taking pregnancy vitamins, I eat healthily and drink plenty. I will go to my midwife after I have talked to my mum about it (she had twins before) but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this during pregnancy?

my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex with each other on feb 14th (first time for the both of us). He came inside me twice that day. we had sex four times that week. We had unprotected sex four or five more times the following week. March second we had unprotected sex twice. Which was our last time having sex. I've been getting nausea and cramping. My breasts are sore but not so much just would put pressure on them, more my right than left (i don't know if that matters) Its kinda of a sharpish ache. I don't really have regular periods but the last two months they have started on the 16th-17th, and still havent had it. I'm always tired. I can't stay awake past 11:30 when i use to stay till at least 1am. I get slightly randomly dizzy but its not bad. I also got a real stuffy nose but no other cold symptoms. I've been getting killer headaches lately and my mood swings are terrible one second i'm in a great mood, then i can feel miserable and at the verge of crying, then i can be a grump. ok so i had my last period 6th september 2009 and i had sex on the 10,11,13,17.18,19,20,23,24,25,26,27 and my period was due too come around the 4th october and it didnt so i did a pregnancy test and it came back negative. i waited and repeated the test on the 12th october and it showed positive on a clearblue digital saying 1-2 weeks since conception. I've posted this on two different websites, and split it in half because I wrote one half, then the next after I went to the hospital. Sorry its kind of long. I am 35wks pregnant. This is my 4th pregnancy, and 4th c-section. Usually I wouldn't have any questions, because I've been through this a couple times, but I've changed doctors, and my new doctor just isn't doing things like my last (understandable, 2 different people). Anyways, This pregnancy hasn't been the best. I've been in and out of the hospital, due to contractions, and pain, and infections. I know that most people are going to say there BH, but last time I was in the hospital they were in fact contractions, I got a shot to "slow" them down, they did for a couple days but are back. My doctor wont even schedule my c-section date until April 10th, I'm due April 17th. I've never once made it to my c-section date. My last I went into labor 4wks before, my 2nd I went into labor a week before, and my first was an emergency. My last appointment I was Dilated to 1 and half, and my cervix was really soft my doctor said. I guess my question will be, Will they take the baby if I were to go into the hospital this week? I'll be 36wks on Sat. I can't very much take it easy, or be on "bed rest" As she suggested.. Since I've got my other little ones. I am in pain, but I keep getting sent home, that for some reason I don't even think its much worth going in. I have an appointment on the 17th. My family keeps saying to go into a different hospital, where my old doctor is at. Should I just do that? I'm not saying I'm going in labor, but these contractions are 7-8 min apart as of right now, and on a scale 1-10 They are at a 7. But I've had them at a 10. ---------I went to the hospital after I wrote this 3/17/2010 and this is what I wrote after---------- I actually ended up going into the same hospital I've been going to today because so much pain. Obviously I'm not there anymore. This is what they told me. "We can't legally give you a c-section because your not far enough along, and we can't give you anything to slow down the contractions because you are too far along" They told me I am at a 2, and that It don't look like I'm going to progress anymore. Said that if my water breaks or that I'm bleeding to come in. But that there isn't much they can nor will do about my contractions. Said, its part of pregnancy. I'm 35wks and 4 days, at 36wks they delivered my son at that hospital, but I was with a different doctor. They told me to get some "rest". Yeah very easy, I'll lock my kids in a cage while I go do that right? LOL I mean forreal. I asked them if they just aren't doing this because I am 35wks, They said yeah, because they want to keep the baby in longer. (And they don't have a NICU there). Understandable. Should I try another hospital? I am in really bad pain, and these contractions are well depending on the time, they are not 5-6, to 7-10 min apart. Earlier they were 2-3 min apart and really bad thats why I went in. I've had ultrasounds done, confirming my baby is healthy and everything. What should I do? I'm getting so frustrated lol When they came and told me I was going home, I seriously ended up in tears. Any other advice would be great. Thanks so much! Thanks everyone! And I am trying to wait it out. I'm Resting as much as I possibly can, being the only one taking care of my kids. I'm eating tons of ice chips, drinking water, staying very hydrated. Like I said, I am trying my hardest to take it easy and wait it out. I know its important to try to go as far as I can, but this pain and constant contractions, I'm not sure how much longer I can take them. I hardly sleep anymore because of them. well, i didn't want to go on here to ask about my situation. but today is wednesday, and planned parent hood closed and Walgreen's and CVS closed just now ( since its pass ten ) but oh well, here it goes. i had two miscarriage before and the last one i got on birth control after i stop bleeding. this happen around december 11, and the bleeding keep going on since jan, something... but my period came along around the 14th, and on feb ( actually that month the 15th... ) but around that time i was out of pills, i need a new pack, but i never got around to it. me and my fiancee dont want to get pregnant so soon after what happen in december. so every time we had sex nowadays ever since i ran out of BC, we ALWAYS used a condom. and im not going to lie, even though its a personal thing, well me and him sometimes do anal sex too, because sometimes like if we dont have any more condoms we do that instead. now its the 17th.. and im really worried. i dont plan on getting pregnant anything soon, since i had two miscarriage before and i really doubt this one too, and i dont want to be depressed again, cause im somewhat now still.. today i feel very bloated, i went to the fair park here to see the museums with my niece and nephew and i ate a hot dog there and a cheeseburger at MacDonald's, after that i felt so bloated. my last pregnancy i couldnt finish a soda can of DP.. just a few minutes ago, i open a can of soda and same thing, i couldnt finish it..so i start getting worried i didnt told my fiancee yet and im kinda scared too, i dont know why really. maybe its just because we both promise we would be carefull this time. honestly i dont know how i would be pregnant. i didnt had unportected sex, and ever time were done, he always see if the condom broke or ripped.. i know the only way to really find out is to get a pregnancy test and go to the doctors. im going to planned parent hood ( hopefully ) this week. im sorry if you guys cant answer me. but just give me your opinion, that would be really nice. thank you mummy of two. i should just wait for it to come and get a pregnancy test to ease my mind

Girls i'm terrified i have never had anything done to my teeth like this and its a back tooth or molar whatever they call them and its only half a tooth left but i am still scared they are giving me Novocaine but i have never had it so idk how good it is lol so can somebody give me good successful stories of when you got one fo your teeth pulled with Novocaine to give me just a little confidence i'm like a Hugh baby when it comes to stuff like this haha i hate dentist lol also my OBGYN said on the paper she gave me giving them permission to do it that only meds i can have is Tylenol 3, loratabs,viconens(spelling haha) and percacets what did they give you?

Well, on Feb. 17th I started my period, and a week later I took the Plan B pill because the condom broke. About 4-5 days later I started bleeding again, It was my period again. It's the 17th of march now and I've sex maybe 7 times in between . I used protection and checked the condom for holes, and there were none. Tank goodness. Anyway, I took 2 pregnancy tests today to see If I was pregnant and they both came out negative. I haven't gotten my period yet, and I think it's going to be off because of the Plan B pills. That's what the chick at planned parenthood said. ANyway I need some comments and opinions on what you think or personal expernses to help me out. The only symptom i'm having is that sometimes my stomach feels upset and I kinda wanna throwup, not really but still it makes me wonder. Help?

so i was supposed to get my period on the 3rd of every month, i have a normal cycle, since feb was only 28 days, i figured id get my period by the 6th of march and as of today march 17th still no period and no signs of getting it either. last week my breasts were hurting, really bad! around the nipple area only and it would hurt worse if i touched it but that only lasted abt a week, other then that I've been having these weird headaches that make my head feel really heavy, off and on for a couple of days, I've also felt like throwing up a lot lately like Monday night i went to the movies with my husband and i couldn't sit through the whole movie because i felt like i was literally going to throw up every where! i have been sleeping a little more then usual but that could be due to the time change and i pee abt 2 times an hour. so my question is: Is there a possibility i could be pregnant? i haven't taken a HPT yet because i took 7 of them last month and all neg! i was 8 days late last month and this month I'm now 11 days late... when should i take a test? or should i wate another week to see if i get my period?

my husband was home in december from the army. and i conceived in december anywhere from the 20th to the 29th my father told me two weeks ago he has a hunch that i am having identical twin boys and is really serious about it i was at the doc for my first visit and they said i was measuring big about 17 to 18 i felt moving at 12 weeks and now i am feeling pinching..... they could not find two heart beats but they said sometimes its heard to find the other they are going to give me an ultra sound next weeks but i really cant wait i hope its twins .... can you help me please thanks

my doctor gave me an ultrasound at 2 days shy of 17 weeks.. i asked even though it was a bit early if she could maybe tell us if it's another boy or a girl. she said 95% sure it's a girl! At my 20 week ultrasound and the tech said it's a boy!. Then my the baby wouldnt uncross the little legs again so we can see for sure.. we are so confused.. i'm dying to know but half temped to wit til july when the baby is born.. my husband wants to go have a 3d ultrasound.. what to do? i'm sure it's another little gorgeous guy! ♥ it's my husband that is making me feel confused saying our doc knows more than a tech..

Ok so I'm 17 weeks pregnant I have been feeling movements of the baby at 16 weeks, this is my first,but today Im very worried that I didn't feel my baby move at all, should I be worried at this point or is it ok? Thanks all

Me and my guy have been together for a while now and I'm 8 weeks pregnant. We are 17 in the 12th grade and I have some trust issues. My past relationships have been kinda rough and now my head is all messed up. My guy is good hearted and sensitive but at the same time he wants to be a street kid. Not a ganster but he's feels like he has to do bad things with his friends. Not going to go into details but hopefully you get what I''m saying...anyway...When we're in school he flirts with the younger girls without even realizing he's doing it it makes me sooo mad. All in all long story short I really think he's cheating. WEll I don't but I do. WE used to exchange phones and he would have a lot of girls numbers in it and I would erase them all Now a days he won't let me go anywhere near his phone when he leaves the room he takes it with him even to the bathroom maybe because he just knows I would go through it, and we agreed for him not carry condoms around because WE don't use themm so there was no point for him to have them that was a while ago and he did stop but yesterday I found one in his pocket. I was mad is heck...but I didn't say anything. I don't know...this is typed weird because I'm just writing whatever comes to mind. Sorry about that. But I just want to know if e are stable enough to bring a child into the world. And what should I do to relieve my mind of this ..him cheating. My friend told me I should cheat back and retaliate and I did. It actually made me feel a little better. i'm 20 years old and engaged. my fiance loves me very much and wants to have the baby but doesnt want to force a decision on me that i may regret or am just simply not ready for. i'm 11 weeks pregnant and starting to have so many racing thoughts about becoming a mother and i don't know why but i feel like i don't know weather or not i want to have this baby. like i said im 20 but i still kind of feel like i am 17. im just really scared of becoming a mom any words of advice could help. ok im trying to find out when did i get pregnant ... my last period was jan 17 me and my bf bed on ...feb 1-2-16-19 doctor did an ultrasound 2 days ago said im 6 weeks ... so could i have gotten pregnant on feb 1st or 2nd?? because i follow by my last period which would make me 8 weeks along but doc said im only 6 weeks .. does it add up?

okay, before i start, i KNOW the pull-out method isnt usually effective, and i know pre-c*m can contain semen, but i've heard that thats only if the guy hasnt urinated since his last ejaculation.. im on birth control pills.. and recently (nearly 2 weeks ago, i had my pill-free week where you bleed) i had taken all of my pills correctly and bled for 7 days, including 2 more, so in total 9 days i bled.. i was due to go back on my pill on the 6th march 2010. i took it, however i was also taking antibiotics for honeymoon cystits, and i know the pill doesnt work as effectively if you take it with antibiotics.. anyway, that night, (saturday 6th march) my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex, using the pull-out method (i wasnt keen on doing this, but he promised he'd pull out 5-10 mins before ejaculation and that i'd swallow it so none of it went near my vagina - we did this) i also wasnt keen, because id taken my pill with antibiotics, but he said because i was still on my period (bleeding) and he wasnt going to ejaculate in me i wouldnt get pregnant... i worried myself a bit about it.. but not too much.. im just getting really sore boobs now, that come and go, but only hurt when i squeeze them.. i know that can be a side effect of the pill., but i didnt get it last month, but i had other side-effects instead.. i doubt im pregnant, i just want re-assurance/opinions.. thankyou! im 17 and really dont want a baby. x yeah theres the plan b pill which can be taken up to 72 hours after sex.. but this was a week and 3 days ago now lol :)

I'm 19 years old and a virgin, so I know I'm not pregnant, having a miscarriage or anything like that. I am also not on birth control of any sort. I started my period when I was 13 and it was pretty irregular up until I was about 16 or 17, but its been regular mostly since then. Well I ended up skipping my period for February, but thought it was due to stress. Then I got my period a week early for the month of March (I'm currently on it). The day before I started my period this month I had extreme back pain in my lower back on the left hand side. It felt like I had pulled a muscle, which is what I thought it was because I never have back pain before or during my period. Well, the day after I started my period I was in extreme pain. It was to the point that all I could do was lay in bed and whine and whimper. I finally went to sleep but when I woke up I was still in pain. I took two Ibuprofen and went to take a warm shower. I felt fine IN the shower. But when I got out I felt sick to my stomach, like I was going to throw up, and I was lightheaded and dizzy so I went and laid back down. After that I was fine and didn't have any more cramps or pain. Then earlier today (I should be done with my period by Friday or Saturday) I was barely bleeding it was so light. I just got out of the shower about 30 minutes ago and it was EXTREMELY heavy. To the point that it was running down the side of my leg by the time I had dried off. None of this is normal for me and I don't know what is going on. My normal period: moderate throughout and very light within the last day or two, cramps on the first day of my period and sometimes the last day, my cramps are normally not extremely painful and go away after taking a warm shower and two Ibuprofen. Do you think my period is like this because I skipped a month? Should I go on birth control?

hey im 17 weeks pregnant and i have had no symptoms at all. i have had cold and cough for past 2 weeks. i have been having pains in the side of me stomach now and then but not all day... what could that be? i dont feel pregnant cause some days my belly feels hard but then next it doesnt.i ont have a bump or nothing yet either but heard heart 2 weeks ago and they said it was fine. when doi start getting bump etc because im new at all of this.. thanks :)

im 17 years old. i started my period when i was 15. my last period was 41 days ago, so it's a couple of weeks late. is this normal? i know for a fact i am not pregnant. ive been a little stressed out.. do you think thats why its late?
