The person i know is 27 years old and 19 weeks pregnant she recently had amniotic fluid test and a ultrasound the doctor told her that baby has down syndrome and hydrocephalus. Now I've talked to her and she thinking about having an abortion. I know it's her choice. Okay I know I have asked this question already but... Okay me and my Bf starting baby planning In Mid November. My period Came on Dec 8, which means I start Ov 14 days after. So I started Ov around Dec 19. Well I started freaking out and I decided to get on BC on Dec 18. Well my BF didn't know I was having doubts. He believed it was still a go on the baby (which means no protection no pulling out). So I started the BC and guess what, I started messing up after pill #3. Never took one the day it was meant to be taken and they were never on time, so I called i quits on Friday 1/2 when there were 6 pills left to be taken. So my period came Monday 1/5. The thing is I have been feeling nausea, tired, LOTZ of headaches well according to some research I have done I may begin to feel nausea as early as week 3!!! So I am 19 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and I have been having some major trouble sleeping... I am not so huge that I cannot get comfortable, but it seems that even though I am exhausted, I just cant drift off to sleep, and when I finally do I end up waking up about 3 times a night to go pee. I dont drink fluids after 7pm and dont go to bed til around 9pm. I work full time, and have one day off a week, so I am tired as anything but just having lots of trouble sleeping in general! Anybody have any suggestions for me? By the way, I live in Australia so please do not suggest sleeping tablets etc as the ones in U.S. may not be available here in Australia. I have a docs appointment next tuesday and will ask then, but I am just looking for some advice in the mean time! Tylenol is not available in Australia that I know of! And the nights are getting sooo difficult, but the days are even worse because I still work full time! Please help ladies, im at my wits end! :( Of course some sleeping tablets harm the baby, but there are other alternatives im sure. I would prefer something natural. It is not my pregnant belly keeping me awake, I just cannot sleep! I get comfortable easily (for now!)

Ok, so its a long story but the short version is that my moms side of the family are all users and abusers. we only EVER hear from them when they want something thou wen my mom desperately needed help years ago, she was pregnant and really sick and couldn't work etc all her family had mysteriously disappeared. Now they think we have it made or whatever and only call when they want money or clothes or a hook up to a job...At one time My aunt and uncle who i hate actually treated my mom like a slave. Cooking and cleaning most of the day while they sat on their asses. The recently lost their business and were asking my mom for help and sucking up to us lol...Last week my aunt who has 3 children over the age of 20 and 1 teen and a working husband asked for $500, no given reason just that she is "short" blah blah. She works also and she is constantly bailing out her eldest daughter because her and her husband are spendaholics and her son who is over 25 still acts like he's 17 and needs money for everything. Right at this moment my mom's cousin is staying with us on our couch because shes looking for a job, my mom had found her one but she got fired and its probably because she is on the phone 20hrs a day (Shes 42years old with 5 kids and a hubby) Its just her here. Something happened YEARS ago and now i think my mom is trying to prove herself to everyone. She doesn't ask the family for help rarely. And she gives money to her parent who are on retirement every week. Shes the only one out of 8 children to give them $$. That doesnt matter because my grandparents are there and they're the g-parents. Me, my sis and brother are all in college at the moment and parent pay my interest off so that when i finish and start working it won't b overwhelming or watever only because my bro and sis don't hav to pay till they finish their course and its interest free loans. So my moms WHOLE family close and extended only vist or call because the need this and that. my moms cousin a couple of months ago who she has never talked to or met in her life called up and asked her to buy all this stuff for her daughters wedding...a wedding my mom wasn't even invited to...How rude is that?!!! I can't stand my family seriously they are all annoying and we would be better off without them. There are so much other stuff like how just recently my other aunt asked my mom to pay her daughters $17000 school tuition even though mom has three college kids of her own to look out for and a little one who needs to start a college fund. So much stuff that is soooo stupid..What would you do? As daughter to a mother who is a push over and a family that are users and my mom is the youngest 4th youngest out of my grandparents children on moms side by the way. On September 24th i had sex, on October 19, and on October 25.. The doctor said im 13 weeks and 3 days, but i don't get is my period did come, but it stopped to days early, my period is always regular 7 days, long every month... Ok well me and my husband are ttc and and I have a 30 day cycle and I had sex on day 14 16 18 and 19 I started bleeding on day 19 It was bright pink spot when I went to the bathroom when I wiped then when I went later it was nothing then later It was not a lot but enough for a pad it was like that for 3 days then stopped I dont think it was my period cause it normally stays on for 5 days but now at day 43 if thats even a day but I will be 5 weeks and 5 days if pregnant and I sleep more and urinate a lot more my breast are sore and bumps around my nipples they are soft bumps not like pimples my next period is due in 16 days I haven't took a hpt yet Im waiting until I miss this period first

ok.. well.. i weighed 44 kilos from when i was 15 years old untill i was 19 years old, then i started eating heaps (cos i had more money to spend on food) lol =/.. then i gained weight.. got to about 55 kilos, then i got pregnant and at the end of my pregnancy i weighed 72 kilos. now 5 weeks after giving birth i weigh 64 kilos and want to loose my excess eight. any advice??? I am now 17 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm worried that I have not had much antenatal care and wondered whether my experience is normal or whether my concerns are justified? I had my booking in appointment with a "supply" midwife (usual midwife was on holiday) when I was about 6 weeks. I had blood tests done at the hospital in November 2008. I have not had any results from these blood tests... I have had my first scan which showed the baby was fine. This was on 1st Dec 2008. Since then NOTHING! I don't have another appointment until I'm 19 weeks. I am really worried, I want to know my baby is OK as I'm not yet far gone enough to feel it move and I don't seem to have many pregnancy symptoms anymore. The usual midwife has rung me to say she is on sick leave so can't see me! Does this seem right to you guys? Thanks in advance...

Hey ladies. I'm 19 weeks pregnant with complete placenta previa. My doctor has put me on strict rules (NO sex and NO heavy lifting). He said my baby is healthy as can be and as long as I follow the rules, everything will be okay. He said I will definitely have to have a c-section which is what I wanted anyway and deliver 2 weeks earlier than my due date. He said there are tons of women who go through this and that everything will be okay. I'm coming here today because like most moms to be (this is my first baby), I'm scared. A friend of mine claims to have given birth to her son at 33 weeks. He was 6.6 lbs and never spent a night in nicu. I think he might have been older than 33 weeks. Yes its great news..I'm 11 weeks & due on July 26... But the sad part is I just lost the love of my life 2 weeks ago in a Accident..We planned on being married the 14 of March 2009. I just got an e mail from the 16 yr old girl who sometimes baby sits my 19 month old little boy on the weekends. She only watches him for a few hours at a time Fri or Sat night while me and my husband get some dinner or see a movie. The email said the she is 9 wks pregnant and will still watch Sam until she is 34 weeks. I am not really sure how to handle this situation. I didn't even know if she had a boyfriend. Should I find a new sitter, or let her keep watching him? Sam really likes her and is comfortable around her, but now I think she may be irresponsible because she got pregnant at her age.

I've had many problems with my roommates...I live with a 48 year old and her 2 daughters, ages 19 and 25. A third daughter is overseas in the military, bless her. The daughter oversees has a 2 year old son, so when she deployed, the 25 year old came to live with us in her place, as she also has a 2 year old son and her husband is also deployed. The 25 year old was to help watch both kids so her mother could go back to working evenings/nights, where she makes the most money. We rent a townhome, and it has a driveway that can fit 2 cars, although one car blocks the sidewalk (illegal in our neighbourhood), and sometimes sticks out in the street. The 48 year old convinced me upon move in that she and her daughter needed the driveway because of the baby. We have limited parking spaces on the actual street the townhome is on; if those are full, we have to park along the cross street, which isn't a far walk and a safe neighbourhood. I didn't mind, I understand. Well, the other day they asked my boyfriend to move his car from a parking space on our street. He helps contribute to the house financially, although doesn't officially live there. He also only stays over a couple nights a week, 3 max, but usually 2. He still splits utilities and gives some rent money. She told him "someone should speak to you about manners; you should move your car so my pregnant daughter can have the space, you can park along the curb." Oh yeah, the 25 year old is also 6 weeks pregnant. What tee'd me off about that comment was, why doesn't the 48 year old give up the driveway? She insists on parking in it even though she no longer has to take the kids anywhere in her car! I'd think she should give up the driveway; I know she gets home late, but I do too, and I still walk from the cross street when I have to. Additionally, I had thought the whole reason she needed the driveway was for the kid, to make it easier. If I would have known it was simply because she didn't want to walk from the street, I would have suggested a rotating system for being able to park in the driveway. We are all healthy adults. I don't know if I should say anything to her about this. Luckily, she hasn't asked me to move my car, perhaps because knows I won't move it. But I don't appreciate her telling my boyfriend, rather harshly, that he doesn't have manners because he didn't give up his space for her daughter, and that he should have to get out and move his car whenever he visits. Worse off, she mentioned this stuff to him at the bar she works at (I work there too part time, he goes there regularly), in front of all our collegues and his friends. I do understand the 25 year old has 2 toddlers, and is pregnant, and she should get the space. I just don't think it should be expected that we move our cars if we happen to be lucky enough to get a space, when the 48 year old is perfectly healthy and has no reason at all to park in the driveway anymore. Naomi...Sorry, it is a long question because the situation is complicated. Originally, it was myself, the 48 year old, and her two daughters, ages 19 and 22, and the now 2 year old baby. When the 22 year old got deployed, the 25 year old moved in to take her place for a year since her husband was also being deployed with a separate unit from the other daughter. She brought along her own 2 year old son (actually, only a month apart in age from the other baby.) She is also in early stages of pregnancy. When we moved in, the 48 year old convinced me that she and the 22 year old daughter needed the space because of the baby. So the count is 2 toddlers, 1 pregnant daughter.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant Since around 11am (eastern time) yesterday, I have had contractions at least every 20-30 minutes. This morning I decided to write down the times I am getting them, so far it's been 9:19, 9:26 and 9:38. Are these considered irregular and braxton hicks? I have a doctors appointment today at 3 and plan to ask then, I just wanted some input before that point. I just wanted to add - I was able to sleep last night, so I'm not sure if they were occuring all night long, but I do know 4 times I was awoken by them and that I felt really nauseated and sick to my stomach when that happened.

Ok...so I'm really confused and worried about my friend. I've known her for 6-7 years. Or at least I thought I knew her...anyways. She's 18 years old (going to be 19 in February) and last week she told me that she's PREGNANT!!! I don't even KNOW who her boyfriend is, I think they've only been going out for a month or so (not 100% sure though) because she only just mentioned him to me the day before christmas. Apparently she moved out of her house and is now living with her bf, her ex bf (who is a friend of her bf's) and her ex's new gf (complicated, yeah I know) and my friend's parents are absolutely FURIOUS about her moving out! They don't know about her being pregnant yet, though. I think something fishy is going on, however, because she told me this news over MSN and she kept saying "I'm fine, I'm ok" and "lol". She keeps repeating herself. This really isn't like her and I don't know what's going on. I didn't think this situation was funny enough to "lol" about. I'm honestly not sure how to tell whether or not she's being truthful, but I have a really funny feeling about this. She called me a few nights ago and we talked for like 2 minutes...and we hardly said anything. She just kept laughing. I'm so confused and worried :( ....help???!!! Are there any questions I could ask her to figure out whether or not she's lying (without making it obvious)??? I don't wanna tell her that I don't believe her, when she could be telling me the truth, but I don't wanna believe something that isn't true. Also, do you think I should have a talk with her parents? Have any of you pregnant women moved out of state during your pregnancy? Like with no one but your husband/boyfriend/whatever? If so how did you handle not being by your family? How did you emotionally handle everything? Did you end up with postpartum depression? I ask think because I am 17 and 19 weeks pregnant in March I will be moving to New York with my boyfriend and we will be with his family. I hate change for one. I don’t know how to emotionally handle not having any of my family there for me. I know my family doesn’t treat me right but its just the security of having them there if I did need them. My close family member will be just over 10 hours away. I am scared to death that I will get postpartum depression due to the alone feeling. Don’t get me wrong my boyfriend’s family is great but I just fear so much. Next I know it may sound stupid but I am going to put my dog to sleep. Mind you she is 13 and her hips are going bad the vet said it is the best thing to do for there. There fore it has nothing to do with the move but I am just SO upset over putting my baby down I cant handle it I cry at just the thought.

Hi Ladies, I am 19 weeks pregnant today, and I read on a pregnancy site that you are officially 5 months pregnant at 18 weeks. How does that work? Can somebody explain the whole month/week thing to me? Cheers! Also, my due date is 1st June 2009... So what date did I conceive? Not that it matters, I am just curious! friday (january 2nd) my x-boyfriend and i had unprotected sex more than twice he had pre-cum which was clear, but im not sure whether or not he had pre-cum inside me because he told me he couldn't control his pre-cum it just comes out. while havin sex we stopped and he pulled out because he said he scared he might cum in me if he didn't pull out in time. and yes we tried the condom twice before we decided to do anything. as of today when i went to the bathroom i saw spotting...light spotting when i wipe my self i haven't seen light spotting since a month after my miscarriage in october. maybe 2 weeks before christmas i got a heavy period. which lasted 4 two weeks so i know its not that time again 4 my period to come back around. i don't take any birth control because after my miscarriage i wasn't having sex and i didnt think i was going have sex for a while but things change. my xbf and i are college students i will be 19 as of next month and he just turned 20 in november. with him working two jobs and with me getting big time job offers with car dealerships etc. im sure we would be able to care for a baby financially. but we're not ready....but i willin to take care of my responsibilities but could i be pregnant? would i have to wait to weeks to know whether i could b pregnant or not?

my abdominal muscles have separated recently, i am almost 27 weeks pregnant and they began separating around 19 weeks, its just getting worse and worse. what are some things i can do about this? if i lie on my back then slowly sit up you can see about a 2 inch gap between my muscles where my guts poke through! i am a nanny and i have to pick up small children daily. its hard to put my shoes on and bend over i heard that 1 in 5 pregnant woman get this? well from what i have read if your abdominal muscles have separated more then normal like mine have, they dont just return magically to normal.. can this cause a hernia?

I just might be pregnant, I'm 19 years old and I am not ready at all and I can't even support myself to live. I live in a small town, I'd have to leave town in order to get one and that involves at least a couple hundred bucks which I don't have. I am 19 years old and I live in a house with my 16 year old sister. My sister and I share the money for the bills, the rent, Electric, oil for the heating, food bills etc. We have been living together since June 2008. We both work. I'm doing the LCA as part of a fas course and I am being paid for that. I also work in the evenings for some extra money to help pay the bills. I live in Co.Clare. The problem is my sister got pregnant and gave birth 14 weeks prematurely. She can't not work and she has to stay in Dublin. She could have stay in Dublin for a few months, we have to wait till the baby is okay. My sister is going to have to find money to pay for an accommodation in Dublin to stay with the baby. I need to find money to pay for her half of the bills now. I'm not going to be able to all that money and either is she. Our parents won't help. I already asked them. I'm so worried about what is going to happen. I don't earn too much money. The money I get only just pays my bills. Once I have paid for everything I have no money left for myself.

Ok to start im 19 years old and i just gave birth to a baby girl on 11-2-08. I got my peroid on Dec 20th, 2008. Me and my fiance had unprocted sex and we used the pull out method. I do relize that this is not birth control and that this does not work due to my daughter being born because of the pull out methoid. I am almost 19 weeks pregnant and have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday... I had one ultrasound done at 6 weeks 4 days, and everything was completely fine, but I didn't have any others, because my husband's insurance didn't kick in until January 1. Now that we're getting closer to the appointment, I am absolutely terrified that I will not hear a heartbeat, or the baby won't be alive or anything.. I've had no bleeding at all, no severe cramping - a few here and there, but nothing major at all - and my belly is definately growing like it should be. I know there is no actual way to tell until the doctor, but it would really ease my mind to hear others opinions or experiences, please!
