ok, so ive heard, some women get their periods while pregnant, and im so confused, is it hereditary or does it happen when your irregular? is it normal? or very rare? so heres my problem my previous period before this one was on 11/11, it last 5 days, at this point i was 1 week off the pill, i had been on it for 4 1/2 months. I had unprotected pull out sex for 60 minutes on 11/21, i dont know if there was precum, he was nervous and couldnt stay hard very long. he never went in me. on 11/26 i had unprotected sex again, for 1 minute or two again, literally a minute or two, he didnt go in me, i know for sure he never did both times. before the sexond time we had sex, he had previously had 3 orgasms, not by sex. well the first time we had sex i went home and took 2 birthcontrol pills 12 hrs later. the second time i immediately went home and took 4 pills. i know...stupid. well in dec. i got my period on 12/7 and the first two days it was light then it was normal/moderate. nice and red (tmi) not heavy. the first two days i had bad cramps. my question is...can i be pregnant...i got my period this month on the second and it ended today, it was very normal, bloody and clotty. today in the afternoon i took a first response brand ept. it came out negative after a minute and after 3 minutes i saw nooo faint line at all, it was a BFP at 4 minutes.is it possible im pregnant? im worried about the light/moderate bleeding since i just got off BC and took some later. but...im so scared i could be pregnant since you hear all these stories about pregnant women having normal painful bloody periods....and what about the sex....could i be pregnant, or just freaking out? and my mom says that bleeding while pregnant hasnt happened in her family from what she knows. also like an idiot i trusted the same guy and we had sex again on december 26th. it was dark in his room and he said he was using a condom. well he lied and two hours later i took plan b. and then i got my period on time this month on the second and today is my last day. im so confused could my period be normal now since i took plan b? or did it just make it heavier. and wouldnt first response tell me im pregnant by now if i was....its been 5 weeks since i had unprotected sex. almost 6. wouldnt the ept show by now? Ok so I am 21 weeks pregnant and my husband and I were having sex last night. I noticed that it felt really wet and not like a normal wet but i just forgot about and we finished. When we were done I just couldnt believe I was that wet I had not cum yet and neither did my husband when it started. So when we finished there was a really wet spot on the bed like a watery wet so, I know this is gross, but i smelt it and it smelled just like pee but i know I didnt pee. I would have been able to tell if I did. So ever since I have been worrying what if my water broke or something. Anyway I have an appointment next Tuesday but I am kind of embarrased to ask him about it and Im worried that something could be wrong with the baby. Already went to the DR and they said no preterm and my cervix is nice and thick and closed. But, they put me on bed rest..still nervous.. thanks guys....i guess im just over nervous lol...my husband says im a worry wart lol..you guys are all so helpful and make me feel alot more secure..funny how yall could do that and the labor and delivery dr couldnt LOL

This started on Saturday night after dinner (shrimp and clam chowder)I started to get really itchy i took a shower and put aveno lotion on. I was still way itchy and the tops of my feet and lower legs were red. so my husband had me take some allergy medicine and I woke up fine. Now again today after I ate an almond roca I am itchy all over again. I dont usually have any allergies. Do you think this is allergic reaction or pregnancy itch? Have you experienced anything similar? Is this serious?

My friends believes that this is possible. She says she's bloated, feels pelvic pressure, fatigue, headaches and light-headed at times. She got her period 12/21/08 so 1/2/08 she would start ovulating. She had unprotected sex Friday 1/3/08.Because sperm can live up to 5 days there is still a possibility she can become pregnant. She also feels in her lower stomach pressure too. We know you can be pregnant and still go through ovulation symptoms. We want to know if there is a POSSIBILITY that she could be pregnant? Of course, we'll have to wait 2 weeks to see if she receives her menstrual but she states she's never felt like this any other time. Please help I have money on this. Oh, and chills.

This afternoon I was driving on the way home and every time I would blink and open my eyes back I would see nothing but black spots. Then my right hand got all numb and felt very heavy to lift. It went all the way up my arm and then my face started feeling like that. Then I got to where I couldn't swallow and when I did it took everything I had to swallow. I called the dr. but he wasn't in today so there wasn't anything that they could tell me. I came home and took a nap and feel a little better but not a whole lot. It still feels hard to swallow and my hands still feel all numb. Any one have any suggestions of what it could be? This is my 3rd child and with both pregnancies everything was very fine and normal. This was just really off the wall and really scared me.

i am 22 weeks pregnant and i used to work in a bakery so got used to daily supply of bacon sandwiches, pasties and cake, and im slim, i have a good metabolism because im 21, but i know im supposed to be eating fruit and veg and drinking 6 glasses of water of day and i just cant manage it! i might eat one piece of fruit, couple of veg, drink some oj or milk but then its all fatty food, chips, choc, icecream, crisps. my baby is completely healthy and the right size and my blood pressure, protein and iron levels are perfect but do you think my son might have issues when hes older with food or being fat or heart problems? i will love him regardless of any of that but i want to know if my diet will have negative effects on him? p.s i take my folic acid/mineral supplement everyday

So, I am 21 weeks pregnant and I feel like I've gained too much weight at this point. I've already gained 21lbs... is that too much for being 21 weeks?? Also I should probably include in this that I was only 93lbs when I first got pregnant, so I don't know if I've gained that much because I was so small or what. This might sound like a dumb question, but I was just curious. First three months i gained 2 pounds, 4-th months i gained 2 pounds again, but fifth month i gained 10!! Im 21 weeks pregnant and against abortion. When i was a teen i made the mistake of becoming sexually active, my parents founf out and my mom and i had 'the talk'. She asked me what i would do if i got pregnant and i told her i would have an abortion. So she got ahold of some pictures of aborted babies lying in heaps in dumpsters and showed me. Horrified i quickly changed my mind. Recently i have been in the pregnancy section of yahoo answers and there are alot of girls and women asking how to and should i abort etc. Do you think its wrong that i post a link with my answer showing a horrifyingly graphic video of aborted babies? If so then why? I said when i was a teen. I am 31 years old, have a 14 month old daughter and in a great relationship and engaged to be married to the father of both this spring. a friend of a friend (really) was asking me how far i think someone should take the grieving of a miscarriage. i know its hard and its sad but this is the story a girl at 28 gets pregnant with a 21 yr old guy who has a family a 1 yr old and another on the way she has a miscarriage at 16 weeks ( had a few ups and downs the enitre way) but she went and had the fetus cremated and a death certificate was issued have any of you ever heard of any of this, i under stand it is hard i do not know her personally but i do know that i have had miscarriages and it is sad but i wonder if a large part was to keep the guy close by and was upset knowing that he would not leave his family for her although she was pregnant i wonder if she asked them to do the death certifictae and call it a stillborn bc everysite i have seen has said 20 weeks is considered a stillborn.. anyone with any opinions. that are not rude again my friend is curious yes its sad but still i guess also from what the guy told my friend she was on her myspace 2 days later adding songs and such and following him around town but was so depressed she had to have him take her to the funeral home and bought a special locket i just wonder if this is a plea rather then actual saddness. well there is a bit more to her then i care to go into i guess the part where i said i do feel bad didn't get through to you all but it is kinda sad she lost if but even worse that she asked them to do all those things for her yup i am heartless bc i wonder if she is justa scam artist who was worried she couldn't keep someone away from their family and ruin more lives. she knew she wasn't suppose to get pregnant to start with i believe i said that at 20 weeks is when they consider it a stillborn not that babies can't live at that rate.. at 16 weeks there is no way the baby could have lived.. i am annoyed and being rude now bc you are all being rude when i asked asimple question my friend comes to me with this and i don't know what to say and i wondered i wonder what other people think would it be better if i said it were me thats the only reason you are all being rude right now if i said do you think me doing this is not ok.. he is a scum bag i dont know him well enough i know what he did is wrong but i also know thats he follows him and drives to see him at work and when he found out she was pregnant and he said he would help but couldn't leave his family she threatned to kill herself what does he do he tries 2 be friends with her bt she always pulled the something is wrong with the baby.. she has a whole list of medical issues she has had 5 miscarriages in the last 3 years, and i guess my friend went to the dr with her and heard them suggest she stay home on bed rest i have had a miscarriage i know it is hard but i also watch his family that she cared nothing about when she did this he didn't either he is not off the hook but he is also 21 i mean come on i think age does matter he shouldn't have slept with her but he was back with his family and she is 28 and sorry but that is a big difference she knew what she was doing and she wanted a baby from him at one point she told him that was all he wanted i am sorry this just all sounds like yes she went through something ad but she is really just wondering what will tie him to her now i agree he needs to look at this as what is and what god is saying i am sure his family has a lot of work ahead of them i know the fiance and its kinda sad and i hope this girl gets another chance but maybe with someone who is not attached to someone else and he learns to not make mistakes bc even ones that went too far cause alot of damage,, and the jerk on the bottom shut up and don't be rude you dont need to be a dick bc i asked yahoo answers a simple question. its not hurting my feelings i just think you need to back up a bit

I am 12 days late. I took 8 Pregnancy tests with definite Negatives on all. (Pregnancy urine tests are 99 out of 100 accurate...) I started taking them as of 6 days late. My periods are irregular but never this long, just maybe 1 or 3 days. I called Planned Parenthood and made an appointment for next week but she was sure I would get my period before then. I am 21. Under a decent but not overwhelming amount of stress (graduating college and starting an internship). I excercize on and off (one week every day, others a few days) but this is what I always have done. My boyfriend and I use the withdrawl method(& are experienced with it) and have had only a few sexual encounters this past month. What is up with me?

okay sooo.... My first day of my last period was on the 13th.. it ended on the 20..My boyfriend got home from being gone for two months so obviously we had sex on the day he got back which was the 21.. and did so almost every day till yesterday which is january 3..for the first week and a half he didnt use a condom and just did the pull out method..and for the rest of the time he just went in me..dumb idea I KNOW!!!! so anyway today I had light cramping and started bleeding lightly and im not supposed to start for another like 10 dayss and I am usually always normal.....I think I am just nervous, but i just need some other girl opinions..

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I have lost 21 pounds. I was not overweight to begin with. I am still getting sick. I am eating all the time but just not gaining the weight. Is it normal to still be losing all this weight? And if anyone else had this problem could you please tell me how you started gaining weight. Also I was wondering if a heartbeat ranging from 170-178 is a normal healthy heartbeat? Thanks I have been going to the doctor for my regular visits. He said he wasn't really worried about it yet. I thought that I should be gaining by now for sure?

Hello, I've just had my 2nd ultrasound on Monday. I had a such a horrid time. I was almost 21 weeks pregnant during my visit. I was laying down,...my back started hurting soo much! I couldn't breathe properly. I almost wanted to cry there. The tech lady was telling me to move closer to her, move to side way a couple of times,...my both sides were hurting big time. I wanted to cry with pain. I told the tech lady that my back is in pain. She did nothing. She was quiet, and mumbling - measuring my baby. I had no clue what I was seeing. I felt uncomfortable with her. I asked her if she knew the gender of the baby? she said not yet. After an hour - she still couldn't tell me nothing. She didn't explain to me anything. My mom & fiance came later on,...to see it. They both said the tech lady wasn't doing her job, seemed like she didn't care to be there. My mom asked her, if she knew the gender of the baby yet? she said no, not really. Later she said, around 60% a girl. As I left that place - my right side was shooting with pain I couldn't walk. I started crying right there. I couldn't breathe. My fiance had to carry me to the car. Both of them got really upset - they are upset at the tech lady for not doing notthing or not caring at all when I told her I was in a pain,...yet she kept asking me to move around, not caring if I was in pain, or not. Mom later, called the clinic place - really upset telling them - that the lady was very rude, didn't care at all, and that I was in a pain - mom almost yelled at the lady. Have you had this sort of experience??? Thanks! xoxo

My sister is 21 and had her 3rd abortion. She was pregnant twice before and had two abortions with an ex. My mom is pro-choice but was really wanting this baby. But she is upset and but I live across country from her, so my question is.......how can I help comfort her through by phone? BTW, I am pro life. And I believe my sister is using this as a form of birth control. More Details....She told everybody that she had this abortion because she broke up with her boyfriend and went back to her ex and she wasnt sure he would accept her pregnant. I really hope she isnt able to get pregnant again!

I'm on the pill, the 21 pill kind. I had sex the week that I had no pills. This was a few weeks ago. Now I think I could be pregnant.. been feeling very sick to stomach past few days. Is that week with no pills.. can you get preggo during that week or does the pill cover you?

I had my period on time but it was very heavy for a day then stopped by noon the next day completely. A week after it stopped I had brown discharge. It wasn't very thick but wasn't very watery either. It lasted two days. Then about 2 days after the brown discharge stopped I started getting thick white sortof clumpy discharge. I'm confused because this is out of the ordinary for me. Can anybody please help me understand what is going on with my body. I'm 21 years old and me and my husband are trying to have a baby so we have unprotected sex regularly. I dont take any birthcontrol nor have I in the past. I'm 11 weeks pregnant now, and I found out a few weeks ago, I was on birth control pills and I was very accurate I'm in a relationship and I live with my bf who proposed but I said no, I told him it's because I'm not ready the reason is because he's white. I'm biracial and I just can't see myself marrying a white guy, he's really cool sweet and everything. I haven't told him about the pregnancy and I have been thinking about abortion but I feel that it's wrong, I'm 21 he's 23 and I'm just not ready I'm still in college and I just feel that it's unfair and specially since I'm going to dump my bf we have been dating a year. And I don't want to adopt because I couldn't handle that. I really don't know what to do since I'm nor ready, what can I do?

i was bleeding very light for a couple of days. i mean very light.. brownish in color...that never happened to me before.. its been about 2 weeks since my last period. i have had unprotected sex but i am on the pill.. been on it since i was 16 and i am now 21.. i have been messing up on it alot the last couple months and i know alot of people that have gotten pregnant on the pill... could i be pregnant? when would be the best time to take a pregnancy test? can i take one today or should i wait until my period is suppose to come? is chest pains a sign?

I am only 21 weeks pregnant, but i am so in love with my baby that the thought of anything happening to her is terrifying. I love her so much, i love her more than i thought i would after she was born and i have never even met her! I am so overprotective already and i talk to her every day.. and i feel like all my conversations have to involve her. Am i crazy? or is it just normal to feel like this lol? because im sure people are getting sick of me by now! Do you do the same? what are your pregnancy experiences?

I guess this is a Part-Two to my last question. I spoke of being jealous of and angered and saddened by pregnant women. My husband is having a vasectomy on Wednesday morning. I don't want him to. I know it sounds selfish, but I would like to have one more child. We have a 21 month old daughter and 5 week old son together, and I love my children to death, but I don't feel as if our family is complete yet. I keep trying to tell him that I'm not going to be very happy on Wednesday. I've tried to convince myself that him having this vasectomy is best for our family, I've tried to hide my sadness behind it all, and put on a face, but the closer it gets, the harder it is to hide. Anytime I try to bring up how I feel about it, he brushes me off and doesn't listen, claims that I hate him, and even jokes saying things like "You can cheat on me and then you can have a third child". It really upsets me and disappoints me, knowing that in a few days, I will never have another child. We're only 22 and 28, and at 22, I'm not ready to finish my family. I don't feel like it is complete yet. We did discuss, at the beginning of my pregnancy with our son, having the vasectomy when we were finished having kids. He says he's finished, but I'm not. I didn't think that he would be going for it so soon, I thought he'd put it off for at least a few months, but instead, he scheduled it for 3 weeks after our son's due date (December 13), and our son was born December 1. How can I gently bring up how I feel to my husband? How do I tell him that I don't want him to have the vasectomy right now, that I'd like to have a third child before we take such a drastic step in birth control?

I have two beautiful children..a 21 month old daughter, and a 5 week old son. I already miss being pregnant. I see a pregnant woman, or hear of a friend of mine becoming pregnant, and I become saddened, jealous and sometimes even angered. I know I should be happy that I have the two children I have, and I am. I love them to death, but I'm just a little heartbroken. I love being pregnant, and still would like to have one more child. I know I won't though, because my husband is having a vasectomy on Wednesday. He purposely scheduled it so close to our son's birth so we wouldn't risk having a third. It kills me inside, because right now, I don't feel as if our family is complete. Seeing a pregnant woman just fills me with so much anger and jealous and saddness, knowing that they have what I want so desperately to have one more time. It makes me feel guilty that I'm angered at them, since they have done nothing wrong, and babies are joyful. Has anyone else ever thought or felt this way? I'm not trying to be rude or selfish. The only other time I have ever felt this way was when I lost two pregnancies in a row, 10 weeks apart. It's now a different situation, I know. I really don't want my husband to go through with the vasectomy. I'm very saddened by it, because I feel like a part of me is being taken away, and it doesn't help when he makes stupid comments like "You could cheat on me and have a third child". i am going to the doc tomorrow. so i will ask then. but i am just looking for some answers in the meantime. they sometimes last all day long.. only go away briefly when i take med.. i take only Tylenol. but i have to take about 3 for it to work even for a little bit.. i dont wanna keep takin that much every day all day... so i just dont take any at all and suffer.... =[ it goes away when i sleep.... it kinda seems like it may be a migraine but i am not sure... at times bright lights aggravate it.. loud sounds def bother it.. and i work at wendys so i have a stupid headset on all day so that does not help.. =[ i dunno..... any one have any suggestions?? other than talk to my doc.. because i will tomorrow

my period is three days late now, and i was having cramps like i was going to start it, but then it never came. i've been worried, because me & my boyfriend have had sex unprotected, using the pull out method, & i have been reading about the "pre " thing, & im worried i got pregnent by that, but i took two pregnancy tests, and they both said i am not pregnent, and i used the expensive kind. i don't have any signs of being pregnant, only that i missed my period, and i havnt stressed that much, but i did stress some last week. the last time i had my period was on december 5th-december 11th, 2008. my period lasts usually six days every time, and comes every 21 days after im done with it. last time i had it it came a day early, and the blood looking kinda weird, like not how it usually looked, but i didnt think much of it then. but i really need help and answers, i dont want to go see a doctor, because i dont want to let my parents know anything, im to young, and they would freak out, any comment & advice would help me alot, please&thanks.
