I'm usually right on time with my periods. At most a day late. In Sept I was 15 days late, took two pregnancy test...one positive, one negative. I was having sore breast for about two months(Sept, and Oct)but eventually went away. I was very sensitive to smell all of a sudden. But, it too has went away. I eventually started in late Sept (29th) to be exact. I just left it at that, thinking it was just syptoms of pms. So then I started on Oct 31st but by the 2nd of Nov it had completly left. Then started bleeding again on thanksgiving, so my "periods" have been really irregular lately. But still have yet to see a period for Dec or Jan. I'm having cramps, like period cramps but nothing! Also I've noticed when I lay down at any time during the day or am just sitting, I feel a slight movement in my abdomen. But took another test last week, and it was still negative. I'm kinda going crazy, because I feel like if I am pregnant it should for sure show up by now on the hpt's. But, if I'm not then why is my periods so messed up all of a sudden when they've been regular ever since I started having periods. Accept for when I was pregnant with my first son? With him I got a positive result three days before my missed period. Also, if there is anything wrong with the baby's heart etc, could this cause low hcg? My husband and his family do have heart complications. My main question is though, has this ever happen to anyone else...kept getting negative test, and have really strange bleeding, on and off and still end up pregnant but the test show up negative? Keep in mind also that the last time I had a period , was in november...I'm only 23...I'm not stressed, just really confused.

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and very impatient. I really want to know the sex of my baby but don't have insurance. I'm seeing an OB/GYN regularly and he said he's not worried about the health of the baby and if I wanted to get an ultrasound, it would be only for my curiosity at this point. I will eventually need a diagnostic/medical ultrasound though. I'm planning on going to an ultrasound facility with trained professionals and a very good reputation which will cost $189 for 3d and 4d imaging. I'm just wondering if I would be better off to go to the hospital to have everything done at once or if it would be outrageously expensive due to having no insurance. What would be the average cost of a diagnostic ultrasound at a hospital or Dr.'s office?

What do I do? My stomach is becoming upset, I have horrible diarrhea, and I can't stop crying! The crying is just something that I'm going to do because MY HUSBAND JUST LEFT TO FIGHT! Ok so my sister in law is prego 27 weeks , she didnt find out she was pregnant until she was 15 weeks or atleast that is what she says.... Anyways I know she drank during the time she was pregnant because i was with her but she denies she ever drank anything, she is 23 so I dunno why she would deny it and we all know she didnt know she was pregnant at the time. Anyway she got assistance to cover her but because of hurricane ike she had to wait for another month before being able to see a doctor THEN after that happened she had problems with the Insurance Company so now she is 27 weeks and FINALLY seeing a doctor , she was smart enough to start prenatal when she found out . Anyway she had her blood drawn when she was 17 weeks and the test came back positive that the baby could have down syndrom or spinal bifida but she is in denial , she keeps telling me NO the baby doesnt have that , the doctor started seeing her every 2 weeks , I went to the same doctor and he didnt start seeing me every 2 weeks until I was like 31 or 32 weeks so I found this odd. Anyone have any info about this test and what it could mean ?

On november 4 of 08 i got my period. my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex twice somewhere between the 14 and 16. In december my period didn't come until the 23. i took a test the first week of december and the test came back negative. My girlfriend is 23 weeks pregnant with twins, and has recently dropped from working 44 hours to 32 hours. (At least she requested 32, but employer is only giving her 25, they are now considering her part time.) She received 40 hours of sick time on the first of the year. But now her employer is saying that they are going to take that time away, and she cannot use it. If it shows in her pay stub that she has the time, shouldn't she be allowed to use it? Can they really just take it away?? We aren't sure of all of the Connecticut Laws, but it just seems like she is being discriminated against big time here. Please help us!! They did not "demote" her to part time yet, they are being laxadasial with thier paperwork. there for she is still in the system as a full time employee

Okay so heres my story... I was on birth control and I was missing pills and taking antibiotics. So at the end of December I ditched the pills cuz they weren't working out. So then about a week ago I started noticing things were going on with my body. My breasts are really tender, and I would wake up with nausea, I would have dizzy spells, and I was going to the bathroom every little while (I still am) so I thought that I could be pregnant. Then 2 days ago I started spotting, and I thought that my period was coming (its due on the 10th) and it was really light and then then it went away. It came back for a little bit yesterday and then today its gone again. I don't know what it going on. I think it still to early to test because I am not due for my period for another 4 days, but is a pregnancy possible? Please keep the rude comments to your self,... thank you! Obviously this is my first child lol Yes I did have my iron checked and my dr. told me to get some pills for it but I havent done so yet. I think I will do that tonight.

my mom told me that at certain week i'm not allowed to stretch my arms up. she said something bout ur abdominal muscles tightening. i'm 23 weeks pregnant right now and for the past week i have been feeling a really weird tightening in my stomach whenever i stretch my arms up and it leaves me w/ sore belly for some reason. is this true? and if it is, wut week r u supposed to stop stretching ur arms up? and why exactly aren't u allowed to stretch them up? i just asked my mom again, and she told me it's true bout the umbilical cord thing that it can happen. she also told me that if the muscles tighten too much while stretching w/ arms up, ur muscles might press on the baby too much and cause miscarriage. to Free 2 B...i'm not talking bout lifting ur arms up, i'm talking bout stretching them up. u say women can even work out while pregnant...that's wut my friend did and she miscarried her first baby bc of it. and i'm not talking bout hard core weight lifting, but light work out (which she was used to b4 she got pregnant)

I'm 22 weeks pregnant, 23 years old in my final year of university and my boyfriend has just left me. I feel so devastated as i loved him so much I just dont know what to do. Everything seems to be getting on top of me and the stress of uni and working and now him leaving can't be good for my baby. I found out Dec 31 that I was about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant. I had some blood work done a week before Dec 24, my progesterone levels came back at 10. She said it was kinda low so she gave me progesterone suppositories. 3 days after taking them I had some more blood work done to test progesterone and HcG. Today they came back with progest. at 23.9 and HcG 1000 something. The nurse said this was ok... what do you think? But what I am wondering is why she wants me to come in for a sono this week when they orignally had me set up for next week?? are my hcg levels low???

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I was told I have a low lying placenta on my 20 week scan. My doctor said it is not a complete previa, but it is a migrating placenta previa. My docotr didn't say anything about sex, or heavy lifting, but I read it should be avoided. I am freaking out, I want to do everything I can to have a healthy baby! I had sex 2 days after my period stopped. My partner used the pull-out method. I took plan b within 72 hrs, as prescribed by my doctor. I have pretty regular periods, and usually ovulate 2 weeks after my period. I am 25 years old and have a cycle about every 34-36 days. After taking plan b, I got my period 5 days later. I haven't gotten a period since then, but it's only been 23 days since that cycle began. I am just very nervous I am pregnant. I don't have any signs of pregnancy, just that I am very bloated. my tummy and boobs are getting very itchy, i know its because they are growing etc. I am using moisturiser for pregnancy and stretch marks but its just not cutting it. its also very hot here so it all ends up melting and making me sticky. is there anything else i can use? or that you have found helpful, especially in hot weather?

Hello, The last few nights (and naps) I've been waking up to find myself laying on my back. I've never liked sleeping that way before, but now I must have grown to like it. I am 23 weeks pregnant and have gained 8lbs so far to put me at 119lbs. Is there any chance I could have hurt the baby from sleeping on my back so often in the last week? I keep trying to prop pillows up beside me so I can't turn over, but I always do. :( Also, I've been bruising a lot recently for apparently no reason. I'm going through an extremely difficult and painful breakup. I have found that I can be happier when I don't think about him, but rather try to focus on things that make me happy. I'm 23 weeks pregnant so I have plenty to be happy about, but it is still hard. People have told me to try yoga and meditation. At first this would seem like a good way to help me focus even further and bring me peace. And yet every time I try I find myself dwelling on him or our relationship. It doesn't seem healthy. A little background: My boyfriend and I are both 18, seniors in high school. We live in Birmingham, Alabama. Well I am pretty much tied down to living in the apartment near my parents for a few years but that doesn't bother me. He is so anxious he can't wait to move away. The way he talks about it it sounds like he is planning on going weather I come or not. It hurts my feelings. Curious what your thoughts are on my screwed up situation.

i went to the hospital yesterday bc of back pain. i am 23 almost 24 weeks pregnant. my doctor told me that my cervix is thinning it is 2.5cm and should be 4. i was put on bed rest. has anyone else ever had this problem and if so did you deliver healthy babies i am very concerned about the baby.

My last regular period started 10/23/08. A regular period for me is 5 days, monthly. 11/20/08 I had a gush of pink fluid (TMI...Sorry), which turned into brown spotting for about 3 weeks. Doc sent me for an ultrasound, results said "I MAY have Adenomyosis". Since then, I had clear and dark brown spotting for about 2 days (maybe twice a day) around mid-december. I have continued to have unprotected sex because I am trying to conceive, and in the last month I have had: sore nipples, raised bumps around my nipples, fatigue, extreme mood swings and in the last week I am getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. No cramps, no red menstraul since October. I took 2 urine pregnancy test before my sonogram which I did in early December, and both negative. The sonogram technicial also said that she didnt see anything, but she also said "stranger things have happened". I never requested a blood test, because I figured the sonogram was the most accurate.

i'm 23 weeks pregnant at the moment. i did have sharp pains like this b4 during my trimester, which i know is common during the pregnancy, but it was right at the bottom on my ribs all over. this time i'm having pain only on one side every time, left. it happens usually when i sit down, kind of feels like my rib is pressing on my organs, or maybe it's a muscle that's hurting, but right where the corner of the rib is, at the bottom left side. it doesn't hurt to breath and it's not sever, just a slight discomfort when i sit down, once i get up or straighten my back, everything seems fine. i wouldn't have any concern, but it's 3rd day i have this pain and it won't go away. i'm seeing my OB on Tue. so i'll ask, just wanted to get some opinions from u guys. thx i meant i had that kind of pain during my 1st trimester (first paragraph) i thought the same thing too at first, but since the ultra sound my baby girl hasn't changed her position, she still kicks the same way she was b4, her head is on my left side and the legs on the right :( and i'm having pain on my left, so unless she's a monkey...lol

I'm 23 weeks pregnant, this morning I vomited blue liquid with black flakes and then it turned green after awhile with black flakes. I was wondering if this was a symptom of pregnancy. Everything I've read says nothing about it, and I can't find anything like it online anywhere. I've read that green vomit is bile, and the black flakes could be blood, but nowhere I've read has the combination of both. So really what I want to know is if this is a serious condition or if anyone has had it.

I am 13 weeks pregnant and 26 yrs old, I had chicken pox when I was 23 after having blood tests done saying I was immune when I was younger. I just found out a friend we had over on new year's son has come down with chicken pox today, should I be worried? Any help would be appreciated! Just wanted to add I had the bloodwork done as a teenager saying I was immune and STILL got it in my 20's!

I think I might be pregnant, I've been having symptoms for the past week or so. I have a lower back ach, cramping, tender breasts, headaches, and nausea. I was on birth control, but I didn't take it properly and was on antibiotics at the same time I took birthcontrol for about a month and a half and went off of it in mid cycle about a week ago. I have not gotten my period yet, not even spotting. I took a test a few days ago, it was negative, but I know it was too early to tell cuz my period isn't actually due for another 3 days. I had intercourse on my most fertile day in December and I think I might be pregnant, is it possible? I know the only sure way to tell is by a test but I just wanted some opinions... please keep the rude comments to yourself thank you! And just so you all know I'm 23 years old and married!

I went to see Stomp today. Its a West End show where they make music from banging brooms, dustbin lids, tin can, kitchen sinks etc and it was VERY LOUD! Do you think that this can affect baby's little ears in a bad way? x Thanks everyone . . . I can stop worrying now!!! I was getting my period regular. I was expecting my period around december 23 or so. My boyfriend and i had sex 1 or 2 weeks before this time. We did not use protection. It is now jan 3 and i still didnt get my period.Could i be pregnant? and when can i take a test? Is it possible to get symptoms this early?

I've been made redundant, i'm 4 months pregnant! My partner works 45 hours per week and earns around £23,000 per year. I have been suffering alot through the pregnancy but still trying my hardest to get something, just know1 is giving me a chance! I'm whittling myself stupid on how me and my partner are going to cope! Every other person out there seems to claim benefits and i just want to know if i could!?

I miscarried at 23 weeks, had ruptured membranes, the baby was too young to be put on ventilator (uk regulations) now i am pregnant again, but feel much sicker now and my bump is larger. why?

I Moved To Los Angeles 1-2 Weeks ago and me and my husband "Celebrated" The Move Into our new house. My last three months period were on 8/16,9/16,and10/17...around the teenth days..its like 30 days cycle then i had my period on Nov 14 and again on Dec 8th., its like changed back to 24 days cycle..I dont know if is 24 days cycle or still 30 days cycle. I had unprotected sex on Dec 23 and the next day i took Plan B. THen week after that dec 30 i had sex use condom but then condom slip off on the bed and we reuse that condom cuz we dont have anymore. He hasnt ejacted yet maybe precum. Because of assuming my cycle is 24 days im suppose to get my period Jan 1st and it hasnt come yet..So plan b made my cycle late ,or maybe im pregnant because plan b doesnt work or because from the reuse of slipped off condom..I so worry..I planning to take the hpt in two weeks but too scare to do it..I dont know..im so worry right now

In April of 2008 I was 25 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I went to the Hospital with High blood pressure. I was admitted to get it down. My babies pulse rate dropped to 90 beats per minute, after they gave me the blood pressure meds. (normal is 140) They still didn't put me on constant monitoring, they actually took me off it!! At approx 10:30pm on April 1st a nurse came in to check for the babies pulse again. She checked for a pulse for about 5 min and never found one, while still looking another nurse came in and signaled the nurse to come. So the nurse left the room with me there with the goop and all. After about 10 min my husband cleaned me up. Nobody came back until approx 11:45 Over an HOUR later even though they couldnt find his pulse. They still couldnt, that is when they called the Dr in and he confirmed the death of my Child at midnight on April 2nd. They induced my labor and 23 hours later I had a beautiful 1lb 6oz baby boy that already lived with God. What I am wondering is if I have a lawsuit against the hospital for negligence. She could not find his pulse, when the last reading was 90, she came in to check him again and without finding a pulse left the room for over an HOUR!! They could have done an emergency c-section, but since she didnt come back to confirm, and then tell the Dr until Midnight it was too late!! Do you think I have a case?? I just wanted to add. It is not UNCOMMON for a child this young and weigh this much to survive. I have met more that survived than that passed. I just watched a shot on Quintuplets born at 25 weeks and all weighed less than 1pound 2 oz. So I think he has a chance. Obviously a better one than in the womb with a dropping pulse. The survival rate for that gestation is as high as 85% I would have taken those odds! every one of the quintuplets lived btw

Measures 22 almost 23 weeks along....I am pretty confused by all of this and my doctor refuses to change my due date he just says that I must be having a big baby?! How possible is it that I was pregnant before my LMP? Has anyone else had a similar situation?

Now, I am due soon and I don't want to be on welfare cause 1) it depressing, I hate having to wait for this or that to come in just so I can get more food or have cash that was given for no work. 2) I dislike social workers simply because they do a half ass job (they believed a lie about my father and took us away from him). 3)lack of freedom. Gotta follow their rules and have this and that. 4) its an overused system in my opioin being abused by so many (like father who has no children but getting foodstamps) If I get a job soon after I give birth, go back to school can I avoid being caught up in the system? I know it seems weird but I hate depending on the government cause I am so use to earning my own money.
