im 23 weeks and 2 days pregnant. i noticed it the other day and i called my ob and the recovering doctor called back and he thinks its a varicose vein. i looked it up on the computer where its at and it is on the labia majas and it looks bubbly and inflammed and it hurts when im on my feet. is that what that is and what should i do?

Ok....I made some horrible mistakes in my past and became pregnant at the tender age of 15. If I wanted to continue living at home, I had to abort my child. I was hurt by this and became depressed and refused to take the meds that were given to me for "healing" nor did I revisit the clinic for the two week check-up afterwards. Now I'm 23 and ttc with my boyfriend. We've been having unprotected sex for the last 11 months and still...nothing. I haven't been tracking ovulation and all, we just pretty much have a lot of sex. But I'm worried that maybe I can't conceive because I didn't take the meds that I believe they said was supposed to heal my uterus or something. I don't remember, I was young. Is there a great chance that I'm infertile now because of the abortion?

I am 25 weeks pregnant going by first test and ultrasound. My belly is now measuring 23 weeks but the measurements of baby show i'm only 20 weeks. Could there be something wrong? I had an ultrasound done at 18 weeks and it showed 15 weeks then agian at 24 and it showed 20. It seems that the growth keeps slowing down. Should I be concerned?

Hi. My ex and I have been separated for almost a year now (March 23 will be 1 year) We have 2 children, ages 4 (boy) and 1 (girl). He wants nothing to do with our daughter but will not do a uncontested divorce because i will not let him have custody of our son. My ex lives almost 22 hours away in Missouri so I would not be willing to miss so much time away from our son. Im wondering how I go about getting the divorce since he is not willing to sign any papers. I just found out 2 weeks ago, I am now pregnant with my fiance so I am really hoping to get this over with soon. My ex was abusive while I was pregnant and I have doctors documentation of that, he literally left us when he decided he wanted a divorce with no money ( I was a SAHM) and moved a few states away. Is there any way to file the paperwork myself or do I have to get a lawyer? I already have temporary custody of both children and he has no visitation rights, but I was told this would have to be covered in the divorce papers also. Thanks in advance.

TTC positive ovulation test on the March 9th waiting for March 23rd to take the pregnancy test. Praying for a positive! I think that the hardest time to wait is between when you ovulate (or supposed to ovulate) and when you can take the pregnancy test. Its 2 weeks of thinking "i could be pregnant right now!" and then thinking "we'll maybe not". One day we'll be able to take a test the day after ovulation and just know. Until then I would love to know what y'all think. Wishing all who want it lots of baby dust.

so my older sister is pregnant & her due date is may 23rd or so but now they are talking about inducing her in the begining of april because the babys 4 pds when she should be only 2, & shes freaking out because somewhere on the net she read that when boobs leak it means that theres like 2 weeks or so left in the pregnancy. Im 23 weeks pregnant with my second child. Two days ago I was fine in the morning and then that afternoon had a fever, chills and was weak. That night I started having severe back pain. My fever got up to 101.4 F. I called the hospital and told me not to be concerned unless I started having contractions. I barely got any sleep because I was so uncomfortable from the pain in my back. I got up that morning and had some light pink discharge. I called my midwife and went in. I could barely walk. The pain was now spreading to the front. I had several tests done and they admitted me to the hospital. I was dehydrated and given fluids. I still had a fever even with taking tylenol and motrin. My tests came back normal and the baby was normal and fine. I was discharged still in pain because the dr thought that there was no reason I should be in pain and was told to watch the fever to make sure it didn't get higher and if the pain got worse to come back. This morning I feel almost back to normal. The fever is gone and the pain is gone, just my back feeling sore from being in so much pain. Have any of you ladies out there experienced anything like this? What was your cause?

I lost my baby boy at 23 weeks due to PPROM(Preterm premature rupture of membranes). I wasnt dilated, nor my cervix was open at any time when I went to get an ultrasound the day of my contractions. The next day my water broke and I went into labor immediately, even though I was contracting the whole night. My doctor said that they perform a cerclage when you have Incompetent cervix which is not my case, but I would really want to get that since last time I had PPROM.. Anyones experiences? HUGS

Hello I am 23 Happily Married I have been TTC now exactly a year since my last depo injection and still no luck! I wish I've never even takin this shot, I was younger and not told much about it at all and didn't know better about the fact you really should research anything you take but anyway I am having a hard time getting pregnant. I am one of those unknown infertility because everything seems fine for the most part I don't know if I am ovulating yet or not but I do get periods again so does that mean I've gotta be ovulating? This month I have taken 100mg of Clomid, Estrodial to make the lining thicker to hold a fertilized egg and i went to the dr yesturday on cycle day 13 the ultrasound showed good lining, a few small follicles on left side and omg one HUGEEEE follicle on the right side and when I say HUGE I mean Huge lol I've never seen it this big so does that mean better chances? Well my DR decided I can get the HCG Trigger shot which i was very excited about does that mean most deff chance i will release an egg? Then also gave me Crinone 8% Progesterone Gel which is said to make sure your body keeps the fertilized egg and makes your lining stay thick and you can even use the cream a few weeks while your pregnant to make sure there is no chances of M/C. So if any of you ladies worry about M/C you should mention this cream and find out more info about it. I would like to know some experiences you've had or heard open to anything about how long it took to get prego after depo and some experiences on this.. I guess I am on the two week wait right now... BLA sux I know and I am very inpatient too! haha. For some reason since we have started TTC I've felt that this month would be it and it's weird right now I feel even after how long it's taken that it will deff be this month!! Wish me Luck it's deff hard to go through this and you want to just give up but no matter what I won't and I encourage you ladies not too either it will happen when God intends it to happen just keep praying and keep POSITIVE! I am a 23 yr old female. I work out 4-5 days a week and have a very active daily life. I have hobbies like reading, painting, dancing, cooking, etc. I eat lots of vegetables and fruits and some lean meats. I take my vitamins everyday and drink 2-4Ls of water a day. I have sex 2-4 times a week and have an amazing partner and I love my job! BUT I find I can be positive and outgoing one moment and than moody, depressed and have no motivation for anything or anyone. I just want to go to bed and its hard to even get up and do anything I will have 2-3 days of this than I will go back to normal. I was taking St. Johns Wort for nervousness and depression but it never fully worked. I am moody, bitchy, my skin breaks out for NO reason. I could be in the middle of a nice dinner to being at my desk at work. I'd have to excuse myself to go to my care and sit and cry or sit and smell some lavender oil i bring with me. It affects my relationship with my friends, boyfirend and family. I want to hide some days because I don't want to hurt anyone but when I hide i end up just being a bitch to myself but than i burn it off than i get back to normal. But when I am around people my mood swings like crazy. I have been like this for the past month and a bit. I thought I might of been pregnant but im not. Is it depression or hormones? Besides going to see my doctor how can I self help myself? I've turned to essential oils and carry around a bag of dried lavender and oil to smell when I feel moody. I don't want to turn to prescription drugs. I write in a journal and that seems to help. I just want to see if anyone else has similar problems or has advice? No stupid answers douche bags. Thanks

My toddler and I do alot of colouring, playing with play dough and playing with her kitchen set. We also play simon says (her way lol). But i'm running out of ideas. Im 23 weeks pregnant, and Im have a wierd pain Ive never had before I was pregnant nor with my first pregnancy. The right side of my face (mainly behind cheek bone) , its annoying pain, i hurts really bad. Sometimes my vision will get blurry (not always) but it hurts to blink or squint my right eye. My left side of my face doesnt hurt at all. Well sometimes when my right side hurts so bad, my left will start hurting too. I have been dignosed with high bp and im on meds to control it. I took my bp and it was 153/55 p.66. Not to horrible but a little high. I was wanting to know if there are any nurses or doctors out there that could tell me whats going on. Or any pregnant women experiencing this too. It gives me headaches when it starts hurting, blurry in my eye, pain in my face, sometimes swells up. But mainly pain in the face and a headache. And the weird thing is This doesnt happen all day but it happens EVERYDAY! I thought that was weird. Oh and I called an a nurse, I have no clue who she was or where she was....but its a hotline for questions pregnant mothers can call to ask about whats going on. And she told me it was a sinus infection. I thought that was weird to tell me that, she doesnt know anything....she wouldnt let me tell her about whats going on. She kept interrupting me. She said its a sinus infection, but my dad gets them all the time and so does my husband and its nothing like what they get. Thier nose gets stuffy and running too. My nose is fine.

sadly 12 months ago my pregnancy ended in stillbirth at 23 weeks and 6 days.im pregnant again but they found out my cervix has been shortening.15 mm at 24 weeks 11 mm at 27 weeks.im on progesterone pessaries as it was considered too late and risky for a cervical stitch.been given steroids and expect to give birth any time.very worried about baby not making it or having disabilities.i have another 3 kids and i went full term with all of them.im 32 . when we had post mortem results & check up,i was told i may need a stitch,but nothing showed up on scans.they didnt do an internal scan til i was 24 weeks,and only then cause i was so anxious of history repeating its self.they said too risky due to how far along iwas to put stitch in,also cos id had bleeding on and off till 20 weeks

Well my story starts of as a school girl, like any other teen (Me at the time) 14 years old and full of pride i had my first real boy friend and i loved him sooooo much, Oh and of course i thought i was invincible i wanted to marry him and would do anything for him i even slept with him. I have to add this bit (my mum if that's what you could call her was okay with anything i done hey she's the first person to offer me marijuana and yes i accepted i had such a great role model, My father was not around) Anyway getting back to it, I was starting to have a lot of days off school i was real sick my mother asked me "when was your last period" i shrugged it off and said "Last month" My mother said "maybe you should got to the doctors", I didn't know what she meant i was just sick. I was at a friends I told her about what my mum said her response maybe your pregnant, I was dazed i said "I ain't having no baby". I did decided to go to the youth clinic and my friend came with me the doctor their confirmed i was indeed pregnant i said the same thing i said to my friend i ain't having no baby i want an abortion, So the doctor wanted a ultrasound, Had a ultrasound that day the tech asked if i wanted to know the sex i was like no i'm having a abortion, she walked out of the room and a doctor came in and talked to me about i was to far to have a abortion and there was other options i discovered i was 23 weeks pregnant and i was having a baby boy . I was stunned i didn't know what to do, I had to tell my mum As i walked in the front door i walked up to my mums bedroom where she was i sat on the bed and said "I went to the health clinic" my mum said "Oh yeah" I said "I'm pregnant" she took a deep breath in and told me about the option told me not to interrupt after she gave me the options number one been abortion, number two been adoption and three been keep the baby and she would be there for me. I said to her "I can't have a abortion i'm to far i'm having a boy". I am surprised that my mother did take the news pretty good. I had a healthy pregnancy and Morning sickness like no other i also turned 15, and then at 36 weeks and after a 36 hour labour i gave birth to my Beautiful baby boy weight 7 pound 9 oz and 46 cm long, i was amazed he was the best thing that ever happened to me (Oh and the father was to young apparently to be a father). after spend 8 days in hospital and then i took home my baby, My mum helped out a lot and she was so proud her first grandchild. Then 4 weeks after i had him i was aroused to discover he was not breathing i'm not going to go in to detail about exactly what happened but the ambos confirmed it. i got a letter in the mail from the coroner and the findings said nothing and death was pronounced as sudden infant death syndrome it broke my heart into a million bits and part of me died that day. I now realise it's hard enough to have a baby at 15 but then i had to bury my baby, It's the hardest thing i have ever in my life had to do. I had another baby at 38 weeks 8 pound 9 oz 55cm long i was 17, a little under a week until i turned 18, She was gorges and i was shit scared. (I started dating her father not long after my 1st baby left me) I then discovered i was pregnant with my third baby when i was 19, I had some trouble while i was pregnant my 3rd baby the umbilical cord was deformed and they where amazed that i made it to 41 weeks and said that usually the baby would have not survived past 12 weeks in the womb I gave birth to her she was so little and amazing 6 pound 2oz 45 cm long, soon after giving birth i had major hemorrhaging and need and D&C and blood transfusion, when i did get out of hospital i got really sick and had to be re-admitted i had septicemia and could feed my baby until i was better. (In the mean time me and my girls dad split it was the best choice he badly abused me while i was pregnant with our second baby). when my youngest daughter was 6 months old i met a man he was an amazing friend (I'm now married to him he is the best man in the world and i'm so happy i found him he brought 3 baby's of his own and we made us a family he has all boys they are great kids and my girls love their step brothers as if they where their own blood and flesh brothers, year of births 1999, 2001, 2003) When my youngest (at the time was 18 months old i discovered i was pregnant my pregnancy was a Breeze and at 40 weeks i gave birth to a wonderful baby boy 8pound 2oz 49 cm long. Last year in june i discovered i was pregnant i was amazed (I wanted another boy) but tragedy struck and at 16wks + 5 days i had a miscarriage, The baby i miscarried was perfectly formed it was a little boy, I am heart broken and words can't describe what this has done to me, If i could give my life for both my angels i would do anything, I would spend the rest of eternity in hell just to know my baby's are safe and well. right now i take every month as it comes in hope i can have anothe sorry story got lost I

So I've noticed my last 2 periods that I've gotten UTI's however the first one my period cut a day and a half short. and this one was just barely spotting for about 2 days. not even. I'm not on birthcontrol so that's not it and i have no idea why. But ive been getting lower back pains (theyve been gone for about 2 days) but i still get them when i wake up but when i move aroud im okay. I have horrible nausea like i can sit for hours waiting to puke but nothing happens. im either starving or cant look at food. im peeing more often but that could be from the UTI. although it doesnt hurt anymroe. my body aches, i have major headaches and im constipated but when i have a bowel movement its quite more then normal. i drink more water but am still pretty bloated. my boobs arent tender but my nipples are just a tad.i get dizzy, light headed, short of breath & I've also been quite nasal congested. but i have no cold sypmtoms. any idea what it might be? could i be pregnant? could it be kidney stones? anything combined? also i've had cramping thats like a 6 or 7 on scale of 1-10 in my lower abdomin that happens for about 2-3 days a week. what could that be? ANY suggestions is very much appreciate thanks! <3 ***MORE*** Yes I could I have had unprotected sex in january and beginning of feb. He pulled out however i recently heard of pre ejaculation. & now there's no love without the glove. but my period was due the 23 and came on the 26 but likei said it was mild spotting. that lasted about 2 days. i took a test on the 4th and it came up positive on a stick test but when i took a digital it came up "Not Pregnant". The line on the first one was lighter but just as thick. could it just have been my imagination?would it be too early to tell? should i take another if i miss another period?

How powerful are his/her kicks. and names you picked out. Just questions .... Im was just curious how other women are doing and going through at 23 weeks. since i asked you guys I guess I could anwser my questions lol My baby is a boy, we are naming him Kayne Andrew. He is very very active, we can watch him kick and move around all the time. My husband first felt the kicks around 16 weeks. This is my second pregnancy...and the only thing that is not going to smooth is bp ( got meds to control it) but besides that Im doing fine and so is the baby. Right now he weights a pound and a half and is 13 inches long. (good size) My first son's name is Carter James (just throwing that in!) Hum let me see....im feeling pretty good in this pregnancy, I have a few pains, when he moves and gets on a nerve and its painful. not sure about you guys but with this pregnancy... Okay, I had 2 premature births at 23 weeks. The first one I had contractions and doctor said it was the ligament and didn't want me to go to the ER, few hours later I was at the ER with lots of contractions and almost giving birth. They transfered me to another hospital and they did lots of exams, ultrasound cervix check and etc. The contractions stopped after a day. I stayed there for 2 weeks. They couldn't find what was wrong with me, they told me sometimes it can be incompetent cervix but nothing showed that I had that so they sent me home to bed rest. 2 days after I left the hospital I started gushing a lot of blood and had to give birth (placenta came out of the uterus). So in the second pregnancy I switched doctors because I was upset with the first one. So the second one told me that my pregnancy was a high risk. due to my first pregnancy and since they didn't find what went wrong all he could give me was progesterone( hormonal pills) to prevent early labor and also didn't consider me having incompetent cervix. at 20 weeks my water broke. Was sent home and 2 weeks later I started bleeding little by little until I reached 23 and 3 days. Gave premature birth again. So my third pregnancy I took action. I called a doctor from Brazil to have another doctors opinion and he said that due to my history I might have incompetent cervix. The doctor said he had to see me before 13 weeks to make sure it was that, so he could prevent premature labor again. I gave another chance to another U.S doctor went to a high risk specialist and told her what happened. She told me there was no chance that I could have incompetent cervix because my cervix was always closed during pregnancy and she wanted to do the exact same treatment as my second pregnancy, just give me progesterone and wait for the best, she said that my case was mysterious and that Brazil is not the U.S and not to consider other country's doctors opinion if they haven't even seen me . I got very upset and took the first plane to brazil. When I got here he did a pap smear and just by looking at my cervix he saw that I had incompetent cervix. He said when women have PPROM or a bleeding (which is placenta abrumption) in the middle of pregnancy you have Incompetent Cervix. which you need to do a cerclage in the cervix between 13-14 weeks. to prevent pressure in the uterus and cervix so your water doesn't break and you don't bleed. My doctor was very upset due to the fact that those 2 pregnancies could have been fine and not the lost of 2 daughters. He said it was obvious to see what was wrong. right now I am 37 weeks pregnant I will be taking my cerclage soon. my pregnancy is going great. Would I be able to sue the doctor's for negligence or malpractice?

My doc said my cervix is still closed so I have not dilated any and my due date is March 23. Does this mean I may go over my due date? I am trying to determine if I should stop working this week or work for at least one more week?

I had a blighted ovum in Feb. 2009 at 12 weeks. 6 months later I got pregnant with my baby boy Noah whom I just lost at 23 weeks. This is gonna sound weird but my uncle told me that he had like a vision(he wasnt sleeping when he saw this). He said that he saw me in the hospital with 2 babies! A boy and a girl, then like a month later he had another realistic vision or dream where he saw me with the same 2 babies!! Yesterday without telling my friend she said that she had a dream that I had a boy and a girl..My dad too told me he saw me with a baby boy though and my mother in law!! Then yesterday I think its because they told me that I dreamed that on the ultrasound there were 2 sacs!! What can this mean?? I never told any of them my uncles experience... thanks Thankss=) Please dont be rude. If you havent gotten through a such loss you cant really say nothing.

So for the first time in a year, i didnt track the start day of my period in feb (ugh!!) But i know it was early feb. me and hubs went to seaworld for valentines day (and some other stuff) and i remember him asking if id be off my period by valentines day (lol for obvious reason) I said of course, since i believe i started between feb 8-9. Well its march 11th and im late for period, we had intercourse for a week straight after the 14th up until the 23rd. Ive been having period twings and cramps for almost a week or so now. I feel alil dizzy and tired. I've also had sore breast, to the touch for a week or so. But im having cramping like AF is going to show up ANY minute, been having these cramps for a few days. also i feel "hotter" than usual, once again this is the first month i havent even tracked temps.. guess you can say i stopped trying. I feel like i have a fever. I have a clear discharge, and i feel like i am starting my period for the last few days, once again nothing each time i go to the bathroom. my nipples are not darker, and my nips are not erect, my boobs are just sore to the touch, and sensitive nipples. i'm also moody, short fuse if you will, emotional but the odd thing i feel short of breath.. like my heart is beating faster idk.. whats your opinion i dont want to go waste money on a preg test, for my period to start a hour later lol happens to me each month, i really think its going to start today, with cramping and how it feels.. but it is late...and my breast are sore, and i feel hotter..and dizzy.. like title says, we have been trying for over a year.. my period is already 2 days late, im just stubborn because eveyr time ive got the HPT, and i take it, and get a BFN, i start my period same day..lol but i never miss my period..NEVER and its 2 days late.. so im hopeful BABY DUST TO ALL OF YOU AS WELL

Hey guys, I just lost my baby boy at 23 weeks On January 22nd. Let me make long story short: I had a blighted ovum at 12 weeks followed by a d&c on Feb 24, 2009, I got pregnant 7 months later with my baby boy whom I just lost. Since I found out I was pregnant I bled and each time I went to the Doctor he said my baby was fine, the uterus was closed and nothing to worry about but my doctor did tell me to rest. I would rush to the ER every 2 weeks because of bleeding and again my baby was fine (The doctor would say) and never told me the reason why I was bleeding until I called him and asked : Why Im I bleeding??? He said: your placenta is a little low....So I rested and then at week 20 I had this gush of blood and I rushed again to the ER and doctor told me I had a little hematoma next to the placenta and to rest for 3 days. The bleeding got worse! I bled from week 20 to the 22nd, at 22w5d I started having pains so I called my doctor and he just told me to rest ! He didndt even tell me : Come in or anything...At 22w7d I couldnt handle it anymore the pains got worse and worse(the contractions) soo I didnt listen to the Dr and rushed to the ER..Well I forgot to add that he did tell me to Come in if I was having contractions (but I was a first time mom so I never knew=( ..Then my water broke the next day at 23 weeks and they tried all night to stop labor from happening but it didnt work:( I delivered my baby boy(died during delivery) that same day. Should I change doctors? Did he do the right thing? Does only bedrest prevent this from happening? Was it my fault? Thanks for helping me:(

now please do not judge me i know i did wrong and i have been regretting this ever since then but now thank god it's in the past.....I was having problems with my husband serious problems in the month of January.I met someone at work whom i felt comfortable with.Now my husband was not with me when a close relative pas seed away instead he was mad at me for a very stupid reason.I felt hate against him for that same reason....Anyways i had sex with this guy on january 6.he used a condom and i am Pretty sure it did not rip.then at that night my husband was a slight drunk and we had sex now he ended inside me and said that a baby would bring us closer.this happened on wednesday night and friday night i took the emergency pill.I took one that night and the other the next morning.January 23 i felt really close to my husband like if something was bringing us closer.January 25 i found out i was like 2 weeks pregnant.now i think it's my husband's but the whole thing that i cheated on him makes me think it could be the other guy's.please help me just tell me what do u think???please don't tell me get a dna test or judge me just let me know what would you think if this happened to u??

I took 4 pregnancy test, from digital to first response to ept and they have been negative. My question is.....Has anyone took up to 6 weeks or beyond to get a positive result? I am not on b/c or obsessing over having a baby. I am 32 so please be adult with your answers. A little more background.No period since Jan 23 on the 21st of February I had very light ,(Pale pink) spot when I wiped and that was it for that day, then on the 23rd I had one more light brown spot when I wiped and that was it. No bleeding at all and I have regular periods and bleed very heavy! Any input?

Hi, I am currently 23 weeks pregnant, I am finishing work mid June and the first few weeks will be taken as holiday then my maternity leave/pay will start the week of the babies due date. I will be returning to work part time around Mar/April time next year but what benefits/help do we get whilst I am not working? My employer will be paying me maternity pay and my partner will be continuing his job as a tennis coach. I know that we will get child benefit but what else would we be intitled too? We have a mortgage and bills to pay so would be good to know if there is any extra help for us? Thanks

Okay on February 1st i had sex with protection of a condom and then i got my period on the 6 and it listed all the way through the 10th. And on February 23 I had sex again but this time without protection, he pulled out..... But this month i got my period on the 5th and ended on the 7th. My period usually last 5 to 6 days and this time it lasted 3 days. Could it be that im pregnant? Or is just stress? And I've random stranger asking me how many months until due do i have. And my belly has grown a bit and i know a belly doesn't show in a couple of weeks. Is just in my head? I didnt realize all this until this week because past couple of weeks I've been stressed out with work. Please someone give me ur opinion on this, be sincere. Please, thank you!

So I've noticed my last 2 periods that I've gotten UTI's however the first one my period cut a day and a half short. and this one was just barely spotting for about 2 days. not even. I'm not on birthcontrol so that's not it and i have no idea why. But ive been getting lower back pains (theyve been gone for about 2 days) but i still get them when i wake up but when i move aroud im okay. I have horrible nausea like i can sit for hours waiting to puke but nothing happens. im either starving or cant look at food. im peeing more often but that could be from the UTI. although it doesnt hurt anymroe. my body aches, i have major headaches and im constipated but when i have a bowel movement its quite more then normal. i drink more water but am still pretty bloated. my boobs arent tender but my nipples are just a tad.i get dizzy, light headed, short of breath & I've also been quite nasal congested. but i have no cold sypmtoms. any idea what it might be? could i be pregnant? could it be kidney stones? anything combined? also i've had cramping thats like a 6 or 7 on scale of 1-10 in my lower abdomin that happens for about 2-3 days a week. what could that be? ANY suggestions is very much appreciate thanks! <3 ***MORE*** Yes I could I have had unprotected sex in january and beginning of feb. He pulled out however i recently heard of pre ejaculation. & now there's no love without the glove. but my period was due the 23 and came on the 26 but likei said it was mild spotting. that lasted about 2 days. i took a test on the 4th and it came up positive on a stick test but when i took a digital it came up "Not Pregnant". The line on the first one was lighter but just as thick. could it just have been my imagination?would it be too early to tell? should i take another if i miss another period?

At the moment I am 20 weeks, but I would like to go part time at work. I am a full time student, have a daughter, and working full time. At the moment I am taking 3 courses, but a 6 week course will start soon. I am already feeling tired and overwhelmed. I work for the state, so I know they won't let me go part time. I have tried. I am just wondering if my doctor would write a note requesting I go part time. Has anyone every been in this situation? Its really hard to find a job right now, so I don't want to just quit. Please let me know if anyone has suggestions or if its a possibility. Thanks! Also my pregnancy has been normal so far. The only thing they found on my 19wk ultrasound was EIF on her heart. Which means I have a 1% chance she may have down syndrome. It doesn't run in mine or my fiance's family, I'm only 23, so I am not to worried. Either way it doesn't matter.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and my boyfriends aunt called me this evening telling me theyre having a baby shower for me before my boyfriend leaves on his deployment to afghanistan. Im not very close to them since im shy, and ive always been the person that has a hard time accepting gifts. I like to do it on my own i guess. Hi need a little help. Decided to stop taking the pill and had the last on on 20th Feb. period started as normal on 23rd Feb. One the 27th, 28th & Feb and on the 6th March i had unprotected sex. Does this put me in a high possibility of being pregnant (my next period is due in a little over a week). I have had cramps for the last 2 days and am very tired. Weird thing this morning when my husband cooked bacon I had to get out of the house just to get away from the smell. I took a test this morning and it was neg. but still not convienced I think its way to early to have any symptons but

I'm a 23 year old single mom of a 2 year old girl. Unwise decisions have led me to become pregnant, but thus far I have been in a very good relationship with the father with plans to get married even before pregnancy occurred. But because of finances for both of us, we halted our plans for a wedding until we get our finances sorted out, have enough saved and have a better paying job. Since this past week everything has gone downhill. Because unemployment has been rising even more and many people in our town are getting laid off, it's stressed out my fiancee really bad to the point where he cries about everything and feels worthless and doesn't know what to do anymore. Yesterday because of everything, he said that we should take a break for a little bit until he gets back on his feet with jobs and has something to offer myself and our daughter. After a lot of begging and pleading him to stay, he said that this is for the best, we'll still keep talking and stay loyal to eachother, but constantly being around eachother and making plans to see eachother isn't helping him achieve something for us because he can't focus on getting back on track and finding out what he needs to do.He said he loves me and our daughter a lot and his feelings haven't changed. So that's one part of my life. I've been emotionally out of it. I haven't eaten in a while now, I keep losing more and more weight cuz of the bad stress of not being with him and the added worry about his mental wellbeing because he keeps saying he needs professional help, being that his mom put him through a lot growing up and he's always felt like he can't achieve anything. On the other side, being that I temporarily live with my mom, she takes care of my daughter when I'm at work (full time job). I take classes online and expect to graduate later this year, but all of this is taking more time away from my daughter. I feel that my daughter has bonded with my mom, which I have no problem with. But she always interfers and it makes it harder to stand ground with my kid. Today she pulled a tantrum and my mom interferred, I told her "I got it" and few seconds later she does something else to interfer, and I told her that it needs to stop and then she goes on and says things like, well no wonder when you're working all day"..."Don't take it so hard that she's closer to me than to you cuz youre gone all day." I just need help from anyone ok. Please. The one person I needed is having problems on his own and I can't burden him with more, and at my place here I have no one to talk to and dealing with interferring people. I need some kind of encourage from someone that I'm doing the right thing or any advice for all of us. Thank you

Ok so my last AF was january 2 threw 6th, i missed in February and now comes march and still nothing i have took about 5 test and nothing and got blood work done waiting on the dr to call back but i was wondering if anyone has gone threw this before im only 23 so i shouldn't be missing periods months at a time...all my other test are "normal"...so im just wondering if anyone has ever not got a BFP but ended up being pregnant?...

So My Husband and i Were not planning on having kids until we were closer to our 30's [ he is 23 i am 22] But for some strange reason we both have decided to try now.. I never really kept track of my period and my cycle and all that good stuff since we used protection but now im thinking it may be possible that i am pregnant. MY last period was sometime in the last week of January.I started having Unprotected sex mid febuary.. he did finish inside of me a couple of times. I was expecting a period the last week of feb/first couple of days of March, However i have yet to recieve one. On the 28th while i was shopping i did feel some wetness in my panties so that i thought was my period. I went to check and it was a reddish/brownish discharge kind of like the one you get when you first start your period. So i went to go buy some pads but by the time i got home it was gone.. it only lasted about 3 hours. its the 10th already and no period. I havent felt any different except for having some stomach pain recently accompanied by diarrhea[sorry for the TMI] I did take a couple of test but they were negative.. which i think might of been too soon to test. I do not want to get my hopes up and get disappointed. i am waiting till the end of the month and going to the dr. DID this happen to any other expecting mommies out there? or am i just over thinking? do you think i might be pregnant? thanks! still no period!!!!!

I am 23 weeks and 5 days today. Baby hasn't moved much since last night. She usually moves around a lot. No unusual discharge or bleeding. Just a bit uncomfortable in my tummy. Not sure if this is normal or not... Please help! Thank you in advance for your responses.

This is my first preg. I'm in my "6th" week. I conceived on Feb 4th and tested 2 wks after than the 16,24,26 all neg. But on the 20 I started spotting but only when wiping. On the 23 I got my period very light and had it for 2.5 days. On the 3rd of this month in the morning I went to the health dept BC I was still feeling qwezy. It was was positive but very faint. On the 4th late late at night I tested again and it was neg. Then today I went to the OBG and they did another urine test which came back not positive or negative so they sent me to get a blood test, that came back negative also, what does this mean? I'm still cramping and feeling nauseous but am I really pregnant? HELP

I am 18 years old and my period is sooo irregular. I used to get it every 23 days, but 3 months ago it arrived on day 29, the following month it arrived on day 26. However, last month it arrived on day 40. I cramped constantly for about 2 weeks prior to this, and had sore breasts etc, i was actually convinced i was pregnant as i had sex with my boyfriend a few times that month. However it did eventually arrive. This month it arrived on day 31. I honeslty don't know why it's becoming so irregular, I am not stressed at all and have not changed my diet etc nor am i overweight or underweight. Does anyone know why it could be?
