So I have been using the Nuvaring for over a year now, and I sometimes skip a period every now and then by leaving it in for a full 28 days before replacing it, with no "out" week. Anyway, this fall my life was insanely busy and stressful, and while I replaced the ring after my period in early November, I apparently forgot to remove or replace the ring after that. As a result, I got my period with the ring in, and it would have had to have been in for moer than 28 days for that to happen. I'm not certain of the exact date of my last period, but I have it narrowed down to 12/10-12/13. I then left town for the holidays while on my period, and only realized when I returned on 12/26 that I had forgotten to put in a new ring, which I did just before bed. Anyway, long story short, I had unprotected sex the night of the 27th, and just a couple days later I started feeling weird, just a host of random things like hot flashes, waves of nausea or dizziness, constipation, and odd cramping and persistent feeling of bloating in my lower belly and I can't determine if it's gas or something else. Is it possible for me to "feel" pregnant already? Is it too early to take a test?

She is 20 years old and pregnant, i have just given birth to my baby 4 weeks ago, and my partners niece keeps calling me fat. my partner says its only a bit of banter, but surely calling somebody who's just given birth fat is very immature and rude. You just don't say things like that. Both her and her mother always call me fat, like they are messing about, but i have had enough. I am only a size 12 for gods sake, they get me so mad. Okay here is the details here. I had a regular period December 2-7th then on the 27th I started with some brown spotting then 2 days of regular flow and then brown spotting again. WTF??? What is up with that (2) day period? I think it's weird. I've never had a period do that before. I dont want to test yet but if I got prego before this 2 day spree then I would be about 5 weeks along. Someone please tell me what's up. I'm normally a 27-28 cycle girl and I've been TTC for almost a year now. I"m about to give up all home to getting pregnant. he he he I mean give up all hope* not home lol! oh and I should mention that I do have a cyst on my left ovary that is about 3 1/2 centimeters long. Hubby and I weren't really trying but if it happens, it happens; we're well equipped to handle it. My cycle is between 25-32 days, (though usually between 28-30, anything after that only happens occasionally) and today is day 29 and I haven't started yet. I do have that wet feeling down there like I'm about to, and I've had mild cramps but nothing major. I also can't explain it but something just seems different. im a young mother 21, and i have a 14 month old daughter and am 28 weeks pregnant, and am also a home student but am taking a semester off to settle my new baby in first =) well my question is, life is pretty boring its the same thing over again everydays !! and its really depressing, wake up change nappy, breakfast for the little one, etc etc. I really really want to do some volenteer work in the community!! it has to be something i can take my daughter to aswell !! any suggetions or is there anything u do, to keep you from going crazy from groundhog day? its summer so we spend most our time outside. i want to do something completely different that has nothing to do with parenting.

As some of you who know me i have been TTC for a year now. ..well anyway me last period was 5th December and still hasn't come yet! i normally have a 28 or 29 normally going by when i have been late, so give or take 3 days, today it would make me 4 days late. Normally every month i think i am pregnant as i have all the signs ie. Sore boobs, but this time round i don't have sore boobs what so ever all i am experiencing is tiredness and period like cramps could this be implantation cramps? Im 28 weeks pregnant and i had a stomche virus. I couldn't keep fluid down, so i went to the hospital and the gave me 3 bags of IV to rehydrate me. That was a few days ago. Since then, ive been drinking lots of fliuid but my urine is still very dark. Can it be from the vitamins in the IV? I mean, the way i am drinking, my urine should be NO color! Ive been drinking about 10-15 glasses of water a day since then PLUS gatorade. How is there anyway i am dehydrated??

I went through a month and a half miscarriage before my OB finally said I needed a D&C the following day (Christmas Eve). I was not expelling everything...just bits at a time (she was trying me on medication to contract the uterus because I didn't want a D&C) but she finally needed to get the remainder of the "product of conception" out. After the surgery I had a light, what I can describe as "watered down blood" for about a week. I don't think that counts as a period so I haven't had a period since 9/28/08. We had sex yesterday early afternoon and I had a lot of white milky discharge. Then we had sex again late last night- I think about the same type of discharge. Then again this morning; but not sure of the discharge "type". Each time he ejaculated inside. I think my chances of getting pregnant again are pretty slim but what do you think? While I was going through the miscarriage, at one transvaginal ultrasound the u/s tech said I was about to start a new cycle and ovulate! seems weird huh? I think then I was having a discharge of white but with a little old blood mixed in making it brownish. TIA for your help!

My cycle is every 26 days, lasts only 3 days and my last normal cycle was November 28. My next expected cycle was supposed to have been Dec 24th, but I experienced a little cramping on the 22nd and lite bleeding. I'm not sure if it was implantation bleeding or my cycle just came on earlier in Dec. When I went to the bathroom and when I wipe, it was only a little bit of pink blood. The last time me and my part had sex was on the 8th and 12th of Dec and I was fertile during that week. Took 2 pregnancy tests, but they were negative, but experiencing a lot of symptoms of pregnancy. Help

I had the Mirena IUD for 3 years. It expelled Nov 20. I had 2 bouts of bleeding, one looked more like a period and the second one was very heavy with large clots. The week of clotting was the first week of December. I went forward 28 days from the first day of second bleeding spell to try to get an idea of when I may start, which was Dec 31. Of course I didn't start by then. On Jan 1 I was cramping (felt like menstrual cramping) Still didn't start. Took a test and it was positive. Worried about possible ectopic pregnancy. My ovary feels like its hurting on the left side. I have had cysts before but don't know if this is what it is. I am not bleeding or spotting. Anyone had one before? Is the pain similar to a ovarian cyst? Worried that maybe since I became pregnant so quickly after expulsion that implantation may have not occurred in the right place

I am 28 weeks pregnant and am changing doctors because I have recently entered into a high-risk status that my doctor is not comfortable with. However, I have been making payments towards the delivery to my current obgyn. I want to know how to handle to transfer of billing or how this is typically handles. Obviously, I don't want to be out for a delivery that hasn't happened yet.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I was told I have a low lying placenta on my 20 week scan. My doctor said it is not a complete previa, but it is a migrating placenta previa. My docotr didn't say anything about sex, or heavy lifting, but I read it should be avoided. I am freaking out, I want to do everything I can to have a healthy baby! I have had sex and nothing happened yet, should I stop it? I have another scan schedulled at 28 weeks, and I really hope i moved up. I am very scared? Anyone has any suggestions for me?

So I'm about to just give up trying... it's been 8 months (I know that's not really a long time, but it feels more like 8 years). I haven't gotten AF yet, but I took a test this morning and it said NO! My period is on it's own schedule so I'm never really even sure when I should be getting it. Last one was on November 28th... I can go 28-45 days... I'm super bloated- my boobs don't hurt, which they usually do about a week or so before I get my period and I've had no pain... So I really thought this month was our month- Do you think I tested too early? I know God will give us a baby when we're supposed to have a baby, but this is just so frustrating! I don't mean to b!tch, it just sucks. I'm trying not to get so upset about it, but jeez! And I know I may sound like a troll saying this, but today is my 3rd day not smoking. I'm hoping that had something to do with us not getting pregnant, so here I am. It sucks but I just keep thinking that in the end of all of this I will be holding my newborn. 22 yrs old! I am scared and I really don't like doc. only because when i went to the community health center for the 1st time(Nov.2,2008) and asked for test before she sent me to the lab. she told me to wait in the room until she came back as soon as she step out in the hall i hear her talking to one of her doc. friends telling her "she(which is Me) trying to get pregnant for what the only reason her period wont come on is because she is ova weight" i thought to myself now the doc was bigger than me(i am 213 lbs) i have been bigger than this(245lbs) but the bigger i got i would some times bleed twice a month, but for 2 years i maintain weight and have had 7 day periods every 28 days.i have an appt. coming for obgyn at a differnt place 7th of Jan2009. I am super-confused about Short Term Disability and FMLA. I am curious if my employer is trying to screw me out of some of it. I have been working for my employer for over 5 years. There are more than 50 employees, I am full-time, and have worked well over 1,250 hours in the previous year. I am in ND. I am eligible for paid FMLA and the company provides paid STD. I am currently pregnant and due in less than a month. When I was 5 months pregnant I started having complications and my doctor made me to cut down to working 4 hours a day. My HR told me that I was eligible for paid Short Term Disability for up to 150 days if I wanted to go that route and she gave me the paperwork to fill out if I decided to do so. I decided not to take the STD and kept working the 4 hours a day, using my accrued paid vacation hours to keep a decent paycheck. About a month and a half later HR approached me and told me I NEED to get my paperwork in because it's "late" and they would be making me go back to 8 hour days if I didn't turn it in because they had no documentation. I had given them a doctor's note back when it happened, but they wouldn't accept it and gave it back. I had no idea why I needed to turn it in since I didn't take the STD and she didn't explain herself at all (she's an idiot as it is). So I made a special trip to my doctor's office and the doctor filled it out and I turned it in. Then last month all of the sudden I started having more complications to where I couldn't even walk. Nothing was helping to alleviate the pain, so I told them I would have to take my leave earlier than I had anticipated. I had my doctor fill out the paperwork again, and I turned it in and my leave started that week. My HR told me that they would have to take all the hours I hadn't been working (15-20 hours/week) and add them up and then deduct them from my total amount of leave to determine how much I have left because my leave had apparently kicked in back when I cut my hours back, yet I am not being compensated for it. I told her that and that I was using vacation hours to cover it and she told me it can't be changed in the computer. I just received a letter in the mail stating that my leave will be expiring on 1/28/09, and that is 4 days before my baby is due!! This doesn't seem right to me. It seems like they put me on maternity leave for 6 weeks and that's all I get. The way I initially understood it when she told me about the STD was that I could use that until the baby was born and then FMLA would start. It also doesn't seem right that I haven't been getting paid for my "paid leave" since it supposedly had already kicked in without me even knowing. There is no way I can go back to work 4 days before my baby is born, have him, and then go back again right away. My husband works also, and no daycare in our area will take a baby that is less than 6 weeks old. I don't even want to think about putting the baby in daycare being that little. i am having this milky white discharge. it is odorless and it is slippery. i know its not an infection. i noticed it a couple of days ago like 7 or 8 days after i ovulated. i was also cramping around that time and i usually dont start cramping until exactly a week before my period. my period comes every 28 days. after ovulation i was dry like usual and i usually stay like that until i get my period or like a day or 2 before my period i might have a little discharge but not like ive been having. im not due to start my period until jan 13 so i really dont know whats going on and i was just wondering if anyone has had this during pregnancy.

Hi, I had one spot of bleeding 1 week back, with light red in color, I hope this is implantation bleeding. After this i have been taking hpt but it is coming as negative everytime. My last regular period was in March 22,2008 I was on a 28day cycle. In November my Gyn gave me progesterone to regulate my period. Now I did get my period in the month of Nov. on the 16th. I have been sexually active so I have not got my period since then. Fertility window was Nove 27th- Dec.2nd. If I were to be pregnant how many weeks would I be? I Started my period when I was 10, it was regular til March 2008. Now I did take and hpt a couple of weeks ago and it was negative. I know you are not doctors and I have talk to my ob/gyn about it. I just want some advice or suggestions from your past experience that maybe could help me. I just started an ovulation chart about 2 days ago still learning about it. Wow TTC is alot of work. I thought that having a baby was just to have sex and thats it!

I guess this is a Part-Two to my last question. I spoke of being jealous of and angered and saddened by pregnant women. My husband is having a vasectomy on Wednesday morning. I don't want him to. I know it sounds selfish, but I would like to have one more child. We have a 21 month old daughter and 5 week old son together, and I love my children to death, but I don't feel as if our family is complete yet. I keep trying to tell him that I'm not going to be very happy on Wednesday. I've tried to convince myself that him having this vasectomy is best for our family, I've tried to hide my sadness behind it all, and put on a face, but the closer it gets, the harder it is to hide. Anytime I try to bring up how I feel about it, he brushes me off and doesn't listen, claims that I hate him, and even jokes saying things like "You can cheat on me and then you can have a third child". It really upsets me and disappoints me, knowing that in a few days, I will never have another child. We're only 22 and 28, and at 22, I'm not ready to finish my family. I don't feel like it is complete yet. We did discuss, at the beginning of my pregnancy with our son, having the vasectomy when we were finished having kids. He says he's finished, but I'm not. I didn't think that he would be going for it so soon, I thought he'd put it off for at least a few months, but instead, he scheduled it for 3 weeks after our son's due date (December 13), and our son was born December 1. How can I gently bring up how I feel to my husband? How do I tell him that I don't want him to have the vasectomy right now, that I'd like to have a third child before we take such a drastic step in birth control?

I've just gotten around 12-13 guppies a few weeks ago. I've just installed a heater in the fish tank yesterday afternoon, adjusted to 22 degrees. At night, I turned the heater higher, to almost 28 degrees by accident. I meant to tune it up to 24-26 degrees. I realized that my fishes aren't as active as usual. This morning, all the fishes just laid at the bottom of the fish tank. Usually, they will swim around the tank. Whenever I give them food, they'll swim upwards immediately. However, this morning when my dad fed them food, they didn't swim upwards. They just stayed at the bottom, swimming around occasionally. After my dad adjusted the temperature of the tank to 22 degrees again, the fishes started swimming at the top again. However, they don't eat any of the food. What's wrong with the fishes? After that, my dad realized the pregnant female fish had given birth and that many of the baby guppies are at the bottom of the fish tank, lying on the sand. I've scooped them out into a separate container. What do I do now? The fishes still aren't acting normal. They don't eat. How do I get them to be active again?

Would ovarian cysts give me positives on two clearblue +/- tests one week and then the next week give me a negative on an early Answer test the next week. Cuz like my period is 8 days late and before I go into the clinic I need to know what could be wrong first so I know what questions to ask. I'm not cramping or bleeding or anything. My sister had 3 miscarriages and she always had severe cramping (she was in tears) as a sign that something was wrong. The bleeding wouldn't start until days after the cramps. My last period was 11/27/08 and I'm on 28-30 day cycle. I had unprotected sex December 7 so I think there's a chance I might be pregnant, but I'm not sure now.

It took us 2 years to get pregnant with number one and we have been trying for around 6 months to get pregnant again but no luck yet. My pariods can be anywhere from bang on time (28 days) to 3 weeks late, its different every month. Can drs prescribe anything to help or do i just have to keep trying? Im trying to chart the best days to have sex but its hard not knowing when my period will come

im 28 weeks pregnant and i hate everyone, i don't want to be around ppl, i don't feel happy anymore, i cant be affectionate with my boyfriend, i cant stand for him to even kiss me! im so paranoid about everything and i feel like he is hiding things from me, but i know he wouldn't do that

I'm 33 and have no idea whats going on...I had sex on 11/13 (a condom was used) and through my online reasearch found out I was ovulating on that day as well. 2 weeks later (11/27) I got my period. This period was different. The flow was different than my normal periods also my normal periods last 6 days with the 6th day being very light or spotting but this period lasted 7 days. Well through out my period and after it ended I kept having pregnancy like symptoms. I would get slight nausea and sometimes in the middle of eating or I would smell my food I would feel sick and have to stop eating. My breast would hurt, my back and sides would hurt (sometimes my sides felt like they were pulling) and my hips would hurt. I kept feeling like I was getting my period but it had already ended. Also my gums bleed when I brush my teeth and I have blue veins across the top of my breast as well as down my sides, My nipples looked bigger. At work in the middle of the day I'm falling asleep at my desk. Also I'm not a veggie eater at all but I for whatever reason wanted to taste this pineapple glazed sweet potato and liked it. I took a HPT and it said neg. Well during this time I went to the doctors for my yearly check up (12/11) and told the Dr about my symptoms. She did a pregnancy test there and again neg. Next day did blood test also neg. but found out that test measures the same levels as the urine so of course it would match since they were only a day apart. Pap test and STD test all came back fine. An ultrasound was scheduled cause during my exam my pelvic area was tender to touch. The night before the U/S appt (12/30 around 10pm) I got my period. It was suppose to come on 12/28. Had the U/S and with a quick glance said she didn't see baby. If I was pregnant I would of been 6 weeks and 6 days from the conception date so I'm sure they would of seen something if I was. After the quick glance for the baby she went back looking at my ovaries and stuff. She said everything looked good but would get the final results next week. Now back to this period that I just got the night before the U/S. This period is lighter than normal. Right now (1/3) its so light it looks like its about to end and it usually last for 6 days and I just got it on 12/30. Any idea on whats going on with me???

Is it normal to have severe pain in my pelvis region when rolling in bed, getting out of bed and walking? Anyone else have this?

Since 2:30 this morning ive have had trouble breathing and when i do breath it hurts my ribs and my back and my chest. Anybody have any clue what it could be. I called my doctor and he says that he dosen't think it's the baby, because it's still early. What's PE?

I just found out on 12/29 I was pregnant my hcg levels was 127 I went back on 12/31 and my hcg levels are 290. From my last period I should be 4w 5d but they think I'm earlier then that just maybe 2-3w. Does the levels should o.k. I have had two pregnancy before one a tubal pregnancy and the second a miscarriage. I had spotting twice in one day just a lite spot of pink I think it was my implation bleeding and a little bit of cramping like I was about to start my period and I thought I was after seeing the two spots since I should of started that week that is the reason why I didn't think anything of it but when I didn't start then I knew I was pregnant. I haven't had anymore cramping and only had spotting that one day and nothing else. I have never been late even with my two pregnancy I had a period but know something was wrong because it was heavy. But I'm a week late give or take because I start from the 22-25day not on the 28 and also I don't know when I ovulate since my period starts early sometimes just by a day or two but I have never stared on the 28 day and have never been late

OK, I had my daughter 4-4-08. I have not had my AF since having her until 11-28-08. I figured that with her slacking off the breast, I was returning to my normal 28 day cycle. Well, I didn't. I took a pregnancy test from about 25 days since my last af and thought I saw a line, but it could have been my imagination. I then took another one 1.5 weeks ago and saw a faint line. It showed a "not pregnant" result in 59 second (I timed it) and, because a negative result wasn't suppose to show up until the three minute mark, I took it apart immediately and it was still streaked with blue dye. I waited until the three minutes were up and looked and there was a second line. How regular should I be after I get my first AF while breastfeeding?
