I am 16 weeks pregnant with my second child. First child is 4 years old - was diagnosed with PE at 29 weeks and delivered at 35 weeks. I am curious of the odds of this happening again.

I am 29 weeks with B/G twins. This is my second pregnancy. I have the worst cramps in my lower uterus, but no contractions- just strong braxton-hicks now and then. Also, my pubic bone feels like it is going to break in half- it hurts SO BAD I can barely walk! I had a regular checkup with my OB today and he said this was totally normal but it is borderline unbearable! Anyone else have the same issue and deliver early? Does this mean I will deliver sooner than later?

My first son was conceived by clomid last year, and he turns 1 years old January 8th! Yay! As crazy as it is, we've been TTC again ever SINCE he was born. We probably didn't really get serious about it till he was about 6 months old. My periods were I guess pretty regular, between 27-29 days. I've been so stressed out about it lately, since we've had no positive pregnancy tests these past 6 months. My cycles started to get longer, and I never got a positive OPK test. My last 2 cycles were 31, then 35 days. I purchased the Clear blue Easy Fertility Monitor and received my first high status on CD 12, then received a POSITIVE OPK test on CD 18 (Baby Danced) , and 2 days of PEAK Fertility Status on the monitor starting on CD 19 (Bany Danced) and CD 20 (Baby Danced). Today is CD 21 , I am back to high fertility status with the fertility monitor. I had lots of CM this past week, and slight cramping on my left side on the day I got the first positive OPK. After baby dancing, I elevate my hips for at least an hour, before even moving or getting up, just to make sure all those swimmers get where they need to. I've even fallen ASLEEP all night like that! I am on CD24 of my cycle, with ovulation on Dec 30 (CD 18). Today I went to my OBGYN for a routine exam. After all was done, we talked, and gave me a blood test for progesterone, due back in 2 days. He also said he ran a pregnancy test which he will get the results tomorrow. I was shocked since it just seemed so early. He then said my cervix was blue. He said it was an early sign of pregnancy....IS THIS TRUE? He said a blue cervix in OBGYN terms is called "Chadwicks" something.

I recently had a missed miscarriage and had an ERPC on Monday 29 December, a week ago today. I did an ovulation test today and it showed negative (they always showed positive when I was pregnant). I don't have any pregnancy tests at home to check whether I'm showing negative on them yet but I was just wondering do ovulation tests work properly after a miscarriage (i.e. after you have had a negative pregnancy test which I know can take a while after miscarriage)?

She is 29- I'm 22, she has 4 gorgeous kids that I love so much and decided to get her tubes tied after her last one. I told her not to because she makes the most beautiful kids but she didn't listen to me. She just experienced an ectopic pregnancy that had to be terminated and she is very sad about it. I am going to be induced in 2 days- and she hasn't called me at all in 2 weeks, and when I call her she barely talks to me. She knows I know what its like to lose a baby because I had a still birth when I was 30 weeks. She is also attacking my mom alot- almost like she is jealous that my mom is going to have a new favorite baby - not her daughter anymore- which is not the case because my mom loves all her grand kids equally. My mom feels as if she is jealous too- she is the first one that noticed. She used to be so excited for me- now shes just blah- and shes taking it out on everybody- even her kids. Whats going on??

Okay so I thought I had conceived this month. I had no PMS symptoms and I had cramping around 5 dpo to 11 dpo. But on the day my period was due, December 29, I experienced some spotting and that lasted for about four days. I went through about a tampon a day (sorry if TMI). It started pinkish/red and was mixed with brown blood. It wasn't as heavy as normal but I figured since it filled a tampon a day it was highly unlikely it could be implantation bleed. Especially since I didn't experience it with my first pregnancy. But now it is the 4th of January and I am already starting to feel my ovulation symptoms which don't show up until a day before to after ovulation. They are similar to PMS symptoms. I get larger breasts, cramping in the side that I am ovulating on, and tired. I have been experiencing this since the end of my period which has been for a few days. Why am I expieriencing these symptoms now? I have been cramping in my left side. Not severe but noticeable, I normally don't feel the cramps until the day of ovulation. I also have had an abundance of the lotion like CM since before my period and it is still present. I have also been breaking out in weird places, like my chest, also my face is all broken out. I am sure it is just a fluke, but could I be pregnant? Or is my body just starting to prepare for ovulation a little early this time. My cervix is high as well, but no EWCM yet just the lotion like but a little watery. I also had no PMS symptoms at all during the whole time, not before or during my possible period. I normally get a lot of symptoms.

Well my last period started Nov. 25-29 it was short and early! i usually get my period around the 3rd of every month....since the last period I have had alot of unprotected sex..he always pulls out, but i know thats not safe at all! Within the past few weeks i have had some very weird discharge clear, odorless, kind of like water (TMI sorry)...Anyway I took a pregnancy test on the 1st and it came out negative....but still no period!! i was having some weird cramping a few days ago, but slightly different then period cramps...I've been kinda tired lately..and headaches, but other then that & the NO period there are really no symptoms... does that sound like i could be pregnant even if the test said no...if not what else could it be? my period is usually always on time..i'm not stressing any more than usual...just need some advice THANKS!!!!

I just found out I am pregnant on the 22nd of Dec. I had a blood test done on the 23rd and my HCG was only 15. I also had an ultrasound but there was no evidence of gestation. My doctor said HCG was too low and Im probably not pregnant. Had more tests done: Dec 26- 73 Dec 27- 132 Dec 29- 351 I cant recall when my last period was in Nov. was but I know its somewhere between the 17th-21st. My last recorded sure menstrual period was Oct 21. Because I dont know when my last period was they cant tell me how far along I am in the pregnancy. I just had an ultrasound done yesterday Jan.2.. which showed an empty gestational sac. Im worried that its empty. Is it too soon? They told me to come back in 2 weeks.

I'm paranoid, so this has been minimal. But I can't just not clean. I have cleaned my stovetop once. The flat kind that needs a special solution. Not oven cleaner. I've used a general cleaner a few times - Lysol or something. Both of these with gloves and no longer than 5 minutes without fresh air (no windows in my bathroom). I've used windex a few times. Some of these without gloves...it takes a few seconds. I use Lysol wipes on my counters sometimes and don't wear gloves. I think that's it. :) I am 29 weeks pregnant.

I just found out on 12/29 I was pregnant my hcg levels was 127 I went back on 12/31 and my hcg levels are 290. From my last period I should be 4w 5d but they think I'm earlier then that just maybe 2-3w. Does the levels should o.k. I have had two pregnancy before one a tubal pregnancy and the second a miscarriage. I had spotting twice in one day just a lite spot of pink I think it was my implation bleeding and a little bit of cramping like I was about to start my period and I thought I was after seeing the two spots since I should of started that week that is the reason why I didn't think anything of it but when I didn't start then I knew I was pregnant. I haven't had anymore cramping and only had spotting that one day and nothing else. I have never been late even with my two pregnancy I had a period but know something was wrong because it was heavy. But I'm a week late give or take because I start from the 22-25day not on the 28 and also I don't know when I ovulate since my period starts early sometimes just by a day or two but I have never stared on the 28 day and have never been late

I know this is silly and I'm probably being overly paranoid, but here's my situation. I'm on Seasonique, and I'm in week three of my pack. I usually take my pill at 9pm, and I am pretty much religious about it - it's a rarity that I take it later then five or ten minutes afterwards. On Dec. 29, however, I fell asleep and didn't take it. I realized this when I woke up the next morning, around 9-9:30, and took it then (therefore on Dec. 30). I then took my pill for the 30th at the usual time, as well as taking it at the usual time on the 31st. NOW - on the 31st, the boyfriend came to spend New Year's with me. We had sex twice - both times, we used condoms but (I KNOW this is going to sound weird, and gross, I'm sorry please bear with me) I thought the second time that when I was cleaning myself up afterwards that I smelled semen, and I usually don't, and now it's MESSING WITH MY HEAD. Should I be worried about pregnancy? I know I'm paranoid, but we had a long conversation about what we'd do if I got pregnant during the few days he was here (not stemming from anything, just randomly) so that conversation is now making me nervous.

My last period was 11/13/08 and the next one was due 12/16/08 but it never started. My periods are always regular, except for the two times i've been pregnant, and since the beginning of december i have been having pregnancy symptoms. The week my period was supposed to start i started having mild cramps every day but no bleeding. I took a pregnancy test on christmas eve and it was negative. On 12/29 i went to the OB/GYN and she did a pelvic exam and a blood test. The blood test was also negative but she said my uterus was slightly enlarged. I'm still having pregnancy symptoms and cramps so now i'm debating going for an ultrasound. Could i be pregnant and get a negative blood test? my doctor wasn't helpful at all. She said both tests couldn't be wrong and if my period didn't start by February then she would induce one. She doesn't feel an ultrasound is necessary and that i'm imagining things. Thanks for hearing me out though, it helped a lot!

I am 29 weeks pregnant and indulged for a week over the holidays with family in town. I don't want to be pyscho and diet, but I am nervous I am going to go over the 25-35 recommended pounds because of the holiday indulgence. Last time I checked before my week indulgence I was at 23 pounds already!!! Advise?!!

I am 31 weeks pregnant. I have a very small frame (5'4" 108lbs pre-pregnancy/have gained only 20 lbs thus far) and had been consistently measuring 3cm less than my actual number of weeks into the pregnancy. At the last appointment I was 29 weeks, measuring 26 weeks. Now, two weeks later, I am 31 weeks and measuring exactly 31 weeks. But with a loss of one pound! I am wondering if this is normal, just seems like a huge increase of 5cm over two weeks and doesn't make sense with the weight loss. My midwife didn't seem concerned but I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

OK... So we had a m/c in Aug around 8-10 weeks. We just found out on Christmas Eve we are expecting again. I had my doc check HCG b/c I am so nervous. 12/29= 242 (probably 4 wks 4 days) 12/31= 315 They did not double so they are having me go back tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? Could this be linked to low progesterone? If so, could a progesterone supplement help me have a healthy pregnancy? Any word of wisdom would be great! I am so scared this is going to end bad! well...bad news. went back today and hcg dropped to 246...doc said I would start bleeding this week :(

I'm 24 yrs old and my husband of 5 yrs aren't consistently trying although if we were to end up pregnant then, we would be happy. The scenario: I got my period on Dec 4. thru Dec 9 (really heavy). Then there are times when we use a condom and there are times when we didn't but I don't keep track of when we "did it". Then on the morning of Dec 26 when i went to the restroom, i got some light red blood on the toilet paper. Then later on the day it became brown. Following day is was light brown, then on and off until Dec 30 (yesterday). Then today, no more. My period is not due until maybe Jan 4-6. I do feel sort of dizzy at times, feeling tired all the time, and drinking a lot of fluids. I checked my HCG levels (Beta) on Dec 28 at the hospital i work at and 0%. Then i took a pregnancy test on Dec 29 and today (both mid day urine) and negative. Now i'm actually a little excited but I don't want to get my hopes up. Could I still be pregnant? Any past experiences like mine with a happy ending... please share! Also, am i testing too early?

I got my periods on 28 Nov last....n till today on 1 Jan 2009 i did`nt get my periods.I also did a pregnancy test today morning but it showed negative....what may be the reason for delayed period?? Let me tell u i had a serum ferritin test done last week n it was found to be very low(3) n my doctor told that normal range should be between 40-150. Is that may be the reason for delayed period??? I'm hungry but it 15 degrees in Jersey so I can't go out..My husband won't go get me watermelon he says its out of season I'm on my 4th pregnancy but I've never been so huge. my last cycle was nov 19 and i need to know how far iam in my pregnancy. i test positive on dec 23 and my progesterone level is 45 that was done on dec 29 dr want to make shure it keeps rising. i had a ultra sound and the dr could not see much other than a uterus that is thicken and so he said that is good. the human something levels were 4335 the its the hcl i think that's what it is ? so when i went to my Dr's it's because i had a miscarriage back in april and was concern and wants to make shure nothing goes wrong this time. i have no spotting but i had last time when i Mis carriage at 7 weeks in april of 2008. so now i have to waite two weeks to see if then we get a better picture and my dr want to send over for a referral for a high tech ULTRA sound that can maybe see stuff alot better than his mini ultrasound the dr thinks iam not 6 weeks and it make less so now iam confused !!

I am currently on bedrest. I have been for the past four weeks. I have been diagnosed with an incompetent cervix, I will be 22 weeks and due to the risks my perinatologist does not want to do the cerclage. I have a 2 year old daughter who was born prematurely at 29 weeks and we were never given a reason why I had her so early. The dr said now that it was probably due to an incompetent cervix. Anyway..so they have me on a progesterone injection I started two weeks ago and will be getting them weekly. I am also on bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy. With things being so uncertain at this point I was just wondering if anyone has been or knows someone who has been in my shoes and did not have a cerclage and did not lose their baby. Or just any uplifting words would be great...kinda in a rutt right now. Thanks so much!

Started my period on 12/12/08, bled for five days. I usually have about a 29-31 day cycle or so. My bf and I had sex on 12/23 and again on 12/30. He came inside of me both times, and we didn't use any type of birth control. Over the past week, I've been feeling very tired and nauseous and have lost my appetite. Could I be pregnant? What are some symptoms of very early pregnancy? I took a test yesterday, and it was negative, but that was only after a week.

well sometimes i have 29 then 30 days etc. per cycle. then twice this month <december> i had unprotected sex twice <14th and 15th day> during my fertile days <i think day 14th to 16th> i encountered a lot of work and i am tired within the week before and during my said to be fertile days. is there a big chance that i could be pregnant? is there? cause im not prepared for it. now when i think about the pregnancy i usually experience things. then when i dont think about it, well i dont. im having lower back pains and my breast swell. well another thing, my period <suppose to be> will be this january. well along the first days <i think>

*Sorry if this it TMI* Anywho, I was doing some site seeing with my mother in-law and husband the other day, and holy cow I thought I was going to literally pee my pants. We were touring a castle in germany (it's where we live), just standing around, and I had to do the "leg cross, tight butt" thing. Haha. But I had just used the bathroom prior to the tour beginning. I couldn't understand it. I was 28ish weeks, and everything has been fine with my little man and I. My mother in-law just said it was the baby sitting weird. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks! It get's worse!? Peeing in public!? BLAH.... hehe. Oh the joys of pregnancy huh..? Oh boy. Guess I should carry around an extra pair or pants and panties with me! :)

And I am exhausted all the time. A couple weeks ago they put me on extra iron because I was anemic, but I am still so tired, I feel like I want to go to sleep all the time, except for when I shouldbe asleep, then I wake up all the time, or can't fall asleep. Is this normal? Also, I never had morning sickness at all through this pregnancy, but now it seems like I get nausea really easily, or my stomach will hurt for no apparent reason, making it difficult for me to eat. is that normal to come on this late in pregnancy? Or could it have something to do with the iron pills?

i had unprotected sex the day before ovulation.[he pulled out] last month he actually came in me but we had sex 9 days after my period had came.my period[so i think it was my period]came that time for 3 days...it wasnt as heavy as usual and it didnt last the 5 days that it usually does.so i took a test 2 weeks after we had sex and it came out negative[i took the test at planned parenthood]. after that i got dissapointed and just left it alone. My wife is a tiny lasy and her pre pregnancy weight was 111 pounds. At her last Doctors appt she gained 15 pounds in one month and she now weighs 145 pounds(if not a bit more because of the holidays). This is her 3rd pregnancy( she has a 14 and a 13 year old) and with both of them she did not gain this much weight. I am concerned cause I don't want her to be in to much pain or discomfort when giving birth to our baby. We have talked about a c section and she is ok with that if it has to be done. I posted a question yesterday as I was sure I was having implantation bleeding for the last 2 days, then suddenly this morning I came on! We've been trying for 6 months now. I'm 27 and my husband is 29. I am NEVER going to think anything I feel is a pregnancy symptom again, I keep getting my hopes up and now feel it is never going to come true. My husband works away one week and is home the next so it's not always easy to pinpoint when's best, but I've bought a digital ovulation test (which scares me as well, incase it never picks up ovulation). I've had regular periods since coming off the pill, we've tried as best we can to BBD around the time we think I'll be ovulating (if he's home), but it never comes to anything. I'm getting very worried now. How long have you been trying? Should I be worried? I feel like this is all I want and that I'm never going to have it. This disappointment is just too much for me every month. We've been trying since June. I feel like the only person in the world who can't get pregnant, now I'm starting to think I can't have them for some reason. Nobody else I know seemed to have all these problems. I feel so down and it gets worse every month.

delivery? I was 85lbs before pregnancy and 105lbs at 29 weeks. My doctor wants me to gain 40lbs total, but Im running out of time. What are the dangers with being very small during delivery? C-section? (I don't want a c-section) Im 5'1 and an adult. :) Thank you guys, my mother and aunt had me scared. lol

My blood pressure has been in the pre-hypertension stage and this is my second pregnancy. My last pregnancy I had preeclampsia and had to deliver 10 weeks early. I am just wondering what is normal blood pressure for a pregnancy. I am 29 weeks pregnant.

I've been on Yaz for 11 months and have always gotten my period on the exact same day (29 days after the first pill) and today I started bleeding on the 23rd day. I have never skipped a pill. I am experiencing very light cramping that's not really an issue. Could this be breakthrough bleeding, a chemical pregnancy, or even pregnancy? I haven't experienced any signs of early pregnancy (tender, tired, morning sickness).

Insane appitite! I was 85lbs before I got pregnant, and 105lbs now at 29 weeks pregnant. My doctor wants me to gain 28 to 40lbs. Today is the first day in MY LIFE that Ive been eating/snacking all day! I've had lunch 2 times with snacks and breakfast. Im STILL hungry. Is this normal? Have you ever had an insane appitite during pregnancy? Im 20 years old, 21 in Feb. :) My grandmother is 72lbs and she had 4 kids. We are very small women. :)

I'm on day 55 of my cycle. I started my last period November 3rd. I spotted dark brownish sightly on day 29(December 1st). Then on day 22 I spotted again for a couple of days, a browish, pinkish blood. It was so light, It wasn't even really reaching my undergarments. I don't understand what's going on. Why was I spotting? Were those last few days my period? Why did I spot on Day 29? Am I pregnant? Could those last couple of days been Implantation bleeding? My husband and I are trying to get pregnant yes. Please help. I have done two pregnancy tests. The last one was 2 weeks ago. They both said negative. I really want to be pregnant, but I don't want to take a test yet. I hate the disappointment. Okay I obviously screwed my question up. I spotted the first time on day 29. And then spotted the second time on day 50. December 22nd. sorry. I'm also 22, and completely healthy.

i'm 29 weeks pregnant & i have sum kind of infection but me and my doc can't tell 4 sure what it is.it started out at the begining of my pregnancy as itching(all da time) and burning (only aftr sex no unusual disccharge).now its just burning aftr sex (no itching n no unusual discharge)my doc gave me a vaginal cream called teroconazol (idk if i spelled it rite)i'm supposed to use it for seven days.i wanna kno if any women have taken this (or any simillar drug) while prego.and if so was the baby affected?

For about 5 years, my periods were 30-45 days a part. This summer, my cycle started exactly every 28-29 days. This month, however, my period is about a week late and I'm not sexually active so that leaves pregnancy out of the reason. Is it normal for my cyle to be so strange? Is it due to changes in weather, stress, or eating habits?

I am 29 weeks now and for the past month or so me and my husband have only had sex maybe a couple times. I understand that he is afraid he will hurt the baby but I always tell him that I would let him know if he did something wrong but he still is scared. Now when I try to suggest sex to him he says he has a stomach ache or he is tired or something. I have been reduced to taking "things into my own hands" so to speak. Anyone else going through this type of situation and how long into pregnancy can you safely have an orgasm? Thanks alot!!
