ok lets see if i can give you guys the short version.. i am 33 weeks pregnant, and a week ago this past Sat. my 29 yr old baby brother passed away suddenly in his sleep. the night before his death he had been out and had drank way too much, so we are thinking that contributed to his death although until the reports come in we won't know 100% for sure... alright, well today was my husbands twin sister and brothers 21st birthday and so the family threw them a huge cookout/birthday party. i have already resolved to the fact that they would all be drinking, but i asked my husband not too drink too much because, well obviously because of what just happened to my brother, and so that i wouldn't stress or worry. well, about 9:00 pm i decided to come home because i had to get our 2 yr old to bed, so i left him in the safety of his parents house. well, he just called me about 10 minutes ago and said the parents made them all leave because they have to work early in the am, so everyone went to the sisters house to party. when he called i could tell he had already had alot to drink and so i begged him to please once again, not drink too much. and his response was, calm down and stop being so dramatic i'll be home later on tonight, i love you, bye???and he hung up.. do you think that it is unreasonable of me to ask him not to drink too much given the stress i have been under lately with my brothers death and the sketchiness of it maybe being cause by alcohol? or do i have a right to be upset because he is being totally insensitive to me right now. my heart is broken over my brother, i don't want to have to worry about losing a husband to the same damn thing... what do you guys think? thanks..

Ok so I have heard of recruiters telling you what you wanna hear but never being heartless. My husband signed a contract to be a diver for the ARMY. We were being told that after his basic in Missouri we would be moved (me and our 11 month old) to base with him while he went to A school. Well once the papers were signed we are now being told that NO he will reamain in the barracks for 29 weeks and we cannot live on base with him and he cannot leave. To make it worse im pregnant with our secons child so our daughter will be 2 and he will have a 6 month old he has never met when he gets out. And the recruiter was so heartless telling us this. My husband asked why he lied and he said "Het man, that's just how it goes" . So does anyone know a loop hole around this? Can he change his job? Anything would help

Here's the deal....i had sex with my Ex boyfriend on December 20th and 26th..we broke up and i had sex with my guy friend on the 29th of December. after having sex with my guy friend on the 29th i took the Next choice emergency contraceptive pill about 9 hours after sex. That day i felt some cramping so i took an clear blue digital ovulation test and it had a smiley face. here i am 13 weeks and 1 day pregnant and according to my last menstrual cycle and gyno my conception date was December 28th. I know if the morning after pill is takin up to 24 hours after sex its 95% effective. Both guys know im pregnant and im really hoping its my Ex's which now is my boyfriend again. I made a huge mistake because of one drunken night. if i hadn't takin the morning after pill id really be freakin out but since i did im thinking i was pregnant from either the 20th or 26th with my Ex and that's why the morning after pill didnt work..but then again i had a positive ovulation test on the 29th..its only 3 days apart so im just really stressing..who do you think could most likely be the father? do you think the morning after pill could have just failed on me?

Lately I can't sleep a full night. This just recently started happening a couple of days ago. I will lay awake for 3 start hours at night. I am 29 weeks pregnant. Is this normal during pregnancy? Is there anything I can do for this problem? Also there is a fullness feeling under my ribs. I can't hardly bend over! Could this be my baby up this far?

Me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex 4 times since january, but thats the only times we've actually had sex. He always pulls out just before anything happens. My last period was on the 29th of january and lasted about 4 days. How can I look presentable, nice and not like some sort of 'slummy mummy' in clothes that are too big?

Greetings All; Before I begin, allow me to say that I'm well aware this is a problem that I should bring to the doctor. I know that I need to do my best to convince them that there's something wrong, and I need to keep pushing until I get some answers. Well, I've tried all of that. First of all, a bit of history: This is my fourth pregnancy, I've never had any miscarriages *knocks on wood*. I'm an old hat at typical aches and pains in the pregnancy process. I've had preeclampsia twice (first and third pregnancies), with the second resulting in labor induction in my 36th week. I'm not one generally to complain; I know a lot of people say this, but you're just going to have to trust me on this: I won't go to the hospital unless someone physically drags me there. Okay, some more info: I'm a 29 year old caucasian, I've had both my gall bladder and appendix removed 3 years and 7 years ago respectively. I've had all my shots including the full hepatitis series, all over a year or more ago. I was diagnosed with Colitis in January of this year; I've had some lower levels of protein and bilirubin in my urine; I've had beyond the normal amount of pregnancy nausea, it feels as though as someone kicked me in the stomach; I have pain in my left flank which indicates, along with the protein in my urine, that the hydronephrosis is back with this pregnancy, as well as a urinary tract infection; I have tenderness on the right front side of my body, with pain shooting up to my shoulder, which along with the elevated bilirubin indicates possible liver issues. I'm only 11 weeks and 4 days along, so it's not like I'm nine months pregnant and impatient. I'm seeing a GI for the colitis; but he can't/won't provide relief and the meds just aren't working, so when I can eat, I have to deal with reffered pain in my back until my food passes through my stomach, and then again as soon as it passes my small intestine. I've talked to my GP about the liver/kidney issues, and he simply tested me for Epstein Barr and Mono, which came back negative, and he never followed up. When I tell the OB about the amount of pain my kidneys and urinary tract infection are causing, he pretty much just pats my hand and says "There, there." I get light headed if I have to walk more than 100 yards, to the point of where my vision starts to shut off if I don't stop and catch my breath. I know it's not my heart, as I've had stress tests in the past and I had an EKG in January as well as some blood gasses taken which all came back fine. My white blood cell count is elevated (just high, not above normal), my red blood cells are low, elevated C-ReactivProteinsns and slight anemia. I'm at a dead end; which is why i turned to Yahoo! Answers. I can hardly function and no one seems to care. I'm seriously ready to slip back into a depression. I honestly don't know how much of an answer I'm looking for...this is more or less just the chance to vent my frustrations. If anybody has any thoughts on at which point my doctors will actually care and not just brush it off as "normal pregnancy issues", that would really be helpful. Maybe there's something I'm not communicating which is allowing the doctors to think that I'm just complaining. I don't know; in any case, thanks for taking the time to read my meandering thoughts. I am 15 weeks pregnant and have a pretty rough time of it! I am now suffering with sciatica which means I am unable to do any manual handling in my auxillary nurse role. they told me i was inconvienient and to get myself signed off by my GP which i have done for 2 weeks. I was then told by occupational health department i wasnt allowed to return until they said it was ok and may have to stay signed off and then have to take maternity leave early. I read somewhere that they can make me take it as early as 29 weeks! Is this true? and also why can't they just let me work or relocate me? i am sure my GP is not going to be happy about keep signing me off but i dont know what i can do. Its really stressing me out :(

I found out 2 days ago that I was pregnant. I was told by my OBGYN to go get a blood test ran, so I did. He called me back this morning and said from the blood test it looked like I was around 5 weeks pregnant and scheduled an ultrasound for me on March 29th. Today, I wiped and noticed bright red blood on the toilet paper and a little on the toilet seat, so immediately I freaked out and called the OBGYN and they told me to come up there. I went up there and they did a vaginal ultrasound and said that the baby's in the uterus, laying a little low. It's in the right place and everything. He said that he can't tell me immediately what's causing the blood, so I have to go back in 2 days (Thursday) and they'll know more. I'm freaking out, hoping i'm not miscarrying. Tonight, there wasn't much blood at all, it was dark brown and it looked old. Almost flaky like. The bleeding has went down alot, my stomach has small paints but i've heard this is normal in some cases and not normal in some cases. I'm hoping that's a good thing, I don't know. Please someone tell me they have experienced this, and what they think is wrong with me. Thanks so much ahead of time! Also the doctor, he told me today after leaving to go home stay off my feet and stay on bedrest until I go back Thursday.

Okay so in two weeks my boobs grew a whole cup size and they are more firm..So i had my normal period december 13..then didnt have one until Jan. 29..which was weird..Then i didnt have one until March 4..It only last two days and it was different then my other ones, I started off spotting then it was really light i also had no cramps..Normally i start off with horrible cramps then start..But after my "period" I started having cramps and lower pains..I took a few test each came back negative..I also have white discharge it doesnt really smell though..and my boobs are starting to hurt more and more..The pain in my boobs are hard to explain cuz i have different kind of pains..So im wondering if i could be pregnant or if i have like an std or something? something is different though..Ps. It seems like i have a lost of pregnancy symptoms but im poor and dont wanna spend money for a doctor if im not

i had a miscarriage february 1st 2010. i stopped bleeding around the 12th i was 5 weeks 3 days..i went to the doctors last tuesday march 9th to have an ultrasound to check on my ovarian cyst and had blood drawn to see if my hcg levels were back at zero. well it turns out that my hcg levels were back up to 575 they told me im pregnant again. i had my levels checked thursday the 11th and they said they were rising like normal so they should have almost doubled which would mean they were around 1100. i have an ultrasound march 29th to confirm the pregnancy and to try to attempt to figure out how far along i am... i had sex on february 12th/13th the day i stopped bleeding then again the 21st of february then the next time was march 3rd. so im assuming im between 2-4 weeks. how far along do you guys think i may be with levels of hcg around 1100? any opinions and advice would be helpful thank you in advance! just looking for opinions no rude comments

Ok so i had my last period on Feb 16 and it was a 28 day cycle, (My daughter is 18 months old and every Sense i had her my cycle has been 28,29,31 always somewhere around there)so on the 15th which would have been 14th day my husband and i has unprotected sex, and now today my period is due and i kinda feel like am starting back, stomache ach, feels like am discharging and all lat week i had bad mood swings,but no period yet.Could i be or just crazy lol .(ttc)

i am 33 weeks pregnant and i have a son who will be 2 yrs old on the 29th of this month...up until the past 2-3 weeks he was excelling and doing really well with the changes that we have been making around here with our home and with him. he got a new toddler bed and took to it immediately sleeping all thru out the night and at nap time with no fuss at all. we started getting the house and his room ready for the new baby,i've been trying to talk to him, pointing to my tummy and telling him his baby brother will be here soon, but i know because he is not talking real well he probably doesn't understand exactly. but here the past couple of weeks his attitude and his actions have been changing dramatically. he has gotten to where he will not take his naps, or lay down at night. i put him in his toddler bed just as i always have before, but now instead of laying there and going to sleep like before he is up as soon as i close the door and playing, last night i went in i know 10 times to put him back in the bed before he finally went to sleep.but then he woke up at least 4-5 times crying in the night and i would have to get back up to go and get him back to sleep. he's been extremely hard to handle lately, throwing even more tantrums then usual. his eating habits have changed, i can't hardly get him to eat much of anything..he cries over the least little thing. do you think that even though he can't understand exactly what is getting ready to take place that he senses that something big is getting ready to happen and that is why he is acting out? or is it just the terrible 2's getting ready to plague me? or, could it be both? Lord help me, how will i ever handle a new born and a 2 yr old? lol... i have no energy now..lol..thanks ahead for the answers.

my doctor put me on provera to start my period in December so i don't know if i have 28 day cycles but i had my period December 13th or 14th and i went to the doctor today and she said based on my sonogram and LMP im 13 weeks and 1 day today. she said the sonogram was very accurate. so around what date could i have conceived? i had sex on with my ex boyfriend December 20th & 26th and my guy friend on the 29th but i took the morning after pill right after sex with guy friend. Ive done alot of research on the Morning after pill(plan B) and its 95% effective when takin in the first 24 hours and i took it about 9 hours after sex but if your already pregnant from previous sex it wont work. I also took an ovulation test on the 29th and there was a smiley face so i was ovulating. if im 13 weeks that puts my conception date on the 28th of December..So do you think its more likely my Ex boyfriends or my guy friends? warning- a little tmi <3 okay : i had a period on january 19th i was lighter than normal and lasted about 4 days. i hadnt started checking my BBT so i just went online to an ovulation calculator (my cycle is regular, 27-29 days) it gave me an estimated ovulation day of saturday january 30th. i noticed on thursday january 28th that i had ALOT of watery cervical mucus (i assume its ovulation time because i never get ewcm). os what the hay -- we BD'd =]. then i got what i thought was a period on february 13th. this time i only had flow after i went to the bathroom, there was hardly any on my lineers everytime i checked. that only lasted 3 days.on the third day i passed to small clots. naturally i thought it was a chemical pregnancy or just a wierd period. (i didnt take a pregnancy test because i hadnt missed a period). about a week after that i got tons and tons (and tons) of ewcm -- which i NEVER get! it came a week before my ovulation should've occured and lasted about three weeks (i've still been getting some, just not as much) on saturday march 6th it was a freakin puddle of it in my underware! 9tmi sorry) i read up on it and learned that the light bleeding/clots could've been from a 'blightend ovum' but i could still be pregnant as it doesn't affect the other developing egg. and the excess of CM could be my mucus plug forming. i was due to get my period between last thursday and saturday ... Hello, So i know this question gets asked a lot but i really don't know what else to do. So i guess i should start at the beginning my periods have always been really normal i usually get my period 29-31 days apart. My last period was feb. 9th. I am now late by almost a week. the reason i am asking is because i honestly am having all the normal symptoms of pregnancy i am 24 and have a 3 year old son i honestly feel like i am pregnant and feel exactly like i did before. Ive taken 3 at home pregnancy tests and all have come up negative. I guess what im trying to say is that is 1). how often is at-home pregnancy tests wrong and 2). If i was pregnant how soon would it show if the last time i had sex was feb 12th, 13th, 14th, and 17th? I know i really should go see a dr. but i guess i just want to know for sure.

I went to the doctor and they estimated that I was about 10 weeks according to my period. My last period was December 29th and I got off of it January 3rd. Since they thought I was about 10 weeks they were going to do a ultra sound but when they did the ultra sound they said I was only about 6 and a half weeks. Im not sure if Im really 10 weeks and my baby is just really little.. Im just not very sure which to believe. Would the ultra sound be more accurate? Thanks for the help :)

Yes I know my name is "baby mamma 7 weeks" but I'm not really sure. I took 2 pregnancy tests 3 weeks ago both were negative but I am having symptoms. I always feel sick, peeing often, head aches all the time, bloating ect.. I had unprotected sex on January 29. I haven't started morning sickness yet but I am 7 weeks and 3 days. Should I take another test? Oh by the way I'm 13 so I don't know a lot about this and I don't have money to be buying a whole bunch of tests. My boobs are every sore. I'm 29 weeks pregnant with my third baby and I've been experiencing real bad menstral cramps. I've gone to the hospital twice so far because I was having contractions. They ran tests and everything is fine. well I'm still experiencing them, and I know every pregnancy is different, but I never had these symptoms before with my other two. I also have aminotioc band. Is this normal? I see the doctor tomorrow and it just frusterates me because she doesn't think aminotic band is serious or the fact that i'm still experiencing thse pains. Hello, My question pretty much says it all, but I need to start from the beginning... My husband and I have three babies in heaven...no living children. My three miscarriages all happened within one year 3/17/09, 09/03/09 and the most recent 01/29/10 (that's when all the bleeding stopped). All three miscarriages happened around 4-6 weeks into the pregnancy. I have never had a D&C My husband and I have had unprotected sex multiple times, so there IS a possibility that I may be pregnant. I just wanna know how soon my period should return... The last two times, it returned within 4 weeks. With this one, it's been almost seven. I don't want to waste money on pregnancy tests or get my hopes up. I know you all aren't doctors, but what would you do in my situation. I don't want to bug my doctor about it. could i REALLY be pregnant? I had my last period on January 30th, i was due about the 28th of February, my periods range from 28-32 days apart. I had sex on the 10th, 14th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, and the 31st. Well I started testing on the 3rd, ive since taken 5 pregnancy tests, the last yesterday morning. They all say negative. my doctor put me on provera to start my period in December so i don't know if i have 28 day cycles but i had my period December 13th or 14th and i went to the doctor today and she said based on my sonogram and LMP im 13 weeks today. she said the sonogram was very accurate. so around what date could i have conceived? i had sex on with my ex boyfriend December 20th & 26th and my guy friend on the 29th but i took the morning after pill right after sex with guy friend. Ive done alot of research on the Morning after pill(plan B) and its 95% effective when takin in the first 24 hours and i took it about 9 hours after sex but if your already pregnant it wont work. I also took an ovulation test on the 29th and there was a smiley face so i was ovulating. So do you think its more likely my Ex boyfriends or my guy friends? Thank You!

There was a bit more cramping Sat, and less today and yesterday. Queeziness, yes, but just a little. Sore breasts? no. Pregnancy tests... all have been negative (I have taken 5). I have also had to pee quite a bit. Headaches? yes, but I have also been attempting to cut down on the caffeine. I think I saw a slight spotting last night (like 1 drop) but have not had any more since. Do I still have a chance of being pregnant, even with all these negative tests (including this morning)? I go to my general doctor in one more week, and if I haven't had my period will get a blood test.

i have been relying on yahoo answers to research the effectiveness of the pull out method, or the withdrawal method, and I am quite disturbed by how uneducated people are who answer questions on this site. It is very easy for man to fail to withdrawal in time, and in more cases than not I would imagine that was the case. I myself have previously used it for 3 years, and My wife did not get pregnant that entire 3 years, until the moment I decided not to pull out because we wanted to have a child. Why waste your time answering at all if your answers arent going to provide supporting evidence? i understand that it is not 100% Jill, but neither is the pill, condoms, or any other form of birth control. Bottom line is this, the Pull out method is clearly an effective means to avoid unwanted pregnancy, with percentages close to the condom. And people are disregarding this all together. Even when used typically (the male doesnt pull out all the time, or properly pul out) it makes the failure rate around 17%. And all I see is people answering around here with "you have a high risk of becoming pregnant" high risk would mean over 50% by my personal standards, I don't think 17& is high at all. Out of 100 people who use this method typically throughout a year, 19 out of the 100 will become pregnant. To say it is high risk would meant hat 60 would have to become pregnant every year. I am not looking at it through rose colored glasses, I am simply going by numbers, and the fact that if this method is used when a woman is not around or on ovulation day, the chances are quite slim.

Since it was literally two days before I found out that he was making comments about our friend, I'm afraid that he has the same thoughts....that his life is over and that he may have some resentment towards the situation. I don't know what I'm trying to ask, but how did an unplanned pregnancy change your relationship if you were in a similar situation? We both have good jobs, but we weren't planning on living together until I sell my condo this summer. Did your man eventually warm up to the idea? How is your relationship now? Hi there! I have this feeling that I am pregnant. But I've never been so I'm not so sure. My period ended on the 28th of February and I had sex on the 29th. While I have been on Nuva ring for 4 years now, for the first time in my life I accidentally left it in for 4 weeks instead of 3 weeks for two rings in a row. (Due to stresses in my life I forgot!) I'm not sure how much that decreases the effectiveness but my period came as usual both times I took the ring out. Since then starting the second week after I had sex my breasts have been so sore, so much that at work I actually had to take off my bra. They are also itchy and have light blue veins. They feel fuller but I am not sure if it is just my imagination since I am a negative A cup and anything can make them look bigger. I would blame this on my period to come in a weeks time although I've never had any premenstrual symptoms besides moodiness since I've been on birth control the last 4 years. I know you're supposed to wait until your missed period to take a pregnancy test, but if the last time I had sex was the day after it last ended, would it be detected earlier that if I had sex later? alright, a week ago this past Sat. my 29 yr old baby brother passed away in his sleep. it was very shocking and devastating to my family, especially me. my husband and i spent the last week in my families town helping with arrangements and finally wrapped everything up on Fri. and then drove back to our home on Sat. on Sat. after we got home we decided to try and lay down to rest, i'm 33 wks pregnant and last week really took a tole on me and so i was, well i still am very exhausted. but, when we laid down to take a nap that afternoon my husband became very emotional and then as a result very passionate. i really wasn't in the mood for obvious reasons but he just seemed as though he couldn't take no for an answer, it was as if he had to be with me. don't get me wrong, we have a decent sex life, but with work and a 2 yr old toddler, and me being pregnant we're not always very passionate about it, but Sat. he was more so then i have ever seen him.. i finally gave in and it was wonderful, i felt more close to him, but at the same time it brought the rest of the all the emotions i was still holding in out to the surface,it did to him as well and all we could both do was cry and hold each other..i guess my mind is blitz because i am trying to understand what brought that on.. when he first started trying to get me to, i was so not in the mood and was kinda irritated that he was because i felt like it was not the time to be thinking about sex. but what do you guys think? what made him want to be with me that badly. i mean he was like a hungry animal who found a pork chop.. bad analogy i know, but...why was he so turned on? I apologise in advance if this is too much information but I just need to know if anyone can shed some light as there isn't all that much info on this topic. I am 29 weeks pregnant and my partner and I were having sex in the missionary position up until about the 28 week mark, I hadn't thought of it until recently but am now worried that he could have harmed the baby considering it is not recommended to spend extended periods laying on your back during 3rd trimester due to the extra pressure of the uterus on the vena cava artery/vein restricting blood flow to my heart. My real worry is that we could have caused some sort of damage to the baby ie: brain or organ damage without even knowing it....does anyone know what the likelihood is of this occuring?? I don't remember feeling dizzy or nauseous at all during so I'm hoping that means bllod flow wasn't restricted to my baby.

I am almost 29 weeks pregnant and I think I have developed a puppps rash. I have tried aveeno oatmeal baths, baking soda baths, benadryl, and calamine lotion but I cant seem to get relief! What can I do for this and will it leave scarring when it finally goes away? This is my first pregnancy so I am completely unfamiliar with this.

This happened March 1, 2010 and I gave birth via caesarean on March 2nd and I am trying to cope with the loss of him. This was our first son we have 2 little girls, but I really wanted a son. What advice could you give on trying to oversome this loss? I know technically he died inside of my stomach and wasn't alive when he was born, but it still feels weird.
