I'm getting induced next Monday. My last appointment I was told by a midwife not to wait since I'm past my due date and to get induced. Today I was told by a different midwife that I'm rushing it and could go till 42 weeks. Also she said I will more likely end up in c-section this early. So am I rushing it? What is your experience?? When did you get induced?? And for what reason? My cervix is closed and I think it just needs help and also I'm very tired of being pregnant and don't feel good at all. So i missed my period in febuary completely and now i am bleeding early about a week early. I have quite a bit of pregnancy signs blooded, headaches, back pains, spider viens extremely sore breast and staring to get harder above the nipple. Wierd food cravings, I get nausea but i havent thrown up. If im pregnant i assume i am a bit over 7 weeks maybe 3 days over. Now i got my period and the first day it seemed normal not heavy just normal. Enough for tampons and the second it was normal in the morning but slowed down at night when i went to take my tampon out it hurt cause there was barely any blood and it the very little on the tampon was dark brown and today im bleeding very little like it was the end of my period. and only a little when i wipe and its a brown color. usually my periods last 6 to 7 days. I dont want people to say take test i just want to know if people have had spotting like this.

I am 22, and missed my last two periods. I am on the pill and take it very regularly. After i missed my first period, I took 2 pregnancy tests and they were negative. Then half way through the month I spotted for a couple days, very dark clotty blood. Then this month I never got my period. I took 3 more pregnancy tests and called my OBGYN and he just said it might be stress. After 2 failed Vasectomy Reversals, we are in tears. IVF is so expensive, but is it our only option? I know they will have to extract my husband's sperm inorder to do the IVF which will add to the cost. I just cry every time I think about it because I don't want to give up hope. He had the semen analysis done 6 months after surgery; zero sperm count. Is there a change that he will have sperm if we wait longer? Well this sunday is going to be 2 weeks already since i got what i have now. I was in this kids party with some friends when some guy started trouble with one of my friends. (They're guys). We were sitting in the table when this guy came to hit my friend. My friend moved so the guy ended punching me in the the face. (Exactly in my upper lip). The guy and his friends got kicked out of the party, but i was really hurt. When i got hit i felt my lip go numb. I didn't know at the time if he hit my nose or my lip but i was bleeding. When i went to the restroom i saw that it was my lip. It was bleeding ugly and it got swollen really fast; i left the party. That week i didn't go to school because it looked really bad. After like 4 days, it just started peeling off and new skin started coming out. It looked alot better and i thought everything was okay, though i still felt something in there i couldn't see but i thought it was going to disappear aswell( like a bone). 3 days ago i notice like this little white bone inside my lip, right where i got hit. Ive notice its been like getting big. Right now, not that big but when i smile you could see like a little white bone or something inside; Im not sure what it really is. Im really worried because i don't know what it is. Im 15 weeks pregnant right now and im scared. Ive read that we don't have bones in our lips but then what is it? Can someone please help me??

First off id like some opinions from people of what i should do. Since me and my ex seperated we have shared our daughter even though he wasnt much part of her life when we werent seperated. He takes her every second weekend and 2 nights a week but during the weeks lately ive had her all week and he always tries to change the schedule and make all the rules and he keeps her extra days WHEN he takes her. Shes starting to really act out. She is 3 years old and loves to be at home with her mama. I have a hard time getting her to go with him sometimes. We are both only 21 years old. Hes a good father but i really believe he is not a good influence on her. He parties alot and lives with 2 other guy roomates who both do the same. I dont want my daughter to be thrown around anymore and i know that should be my decision. I know my daughter and im trying my hardest to raise her decent. I live on my own just in a 2 bedroom apartment right now. No roomates just me and my daughter. I dont party ever. I never really drank much at all after my daughter was born. I dont do drugs. Im also 5 months pregnant but my boyfriend works six hours away seasonal so he does not live with us. The one thing that is really getting to me is my daughter's grandma on her dads side also. Since the day i can remember she has always tried to make alot of the decisions for her. She seemed manipulative into trying to make our daughter hers. Always trying to tell me how to raise her whats not okay and okay. Some of her theories are so wack too. When my daughter was 1 and a half i took her out of daycare and she freaked out and said that she would have no social skills when she is older if she isnt in daycare. Everytime she talks about my daughter she says she talked to some child spychologist about it or this person or that person said this. She said someone told her that my daughter would feel more loved if she was thrown around like this. I also remember her telling me one time that our daughter is the family child and that everyone should raise her. My views arent the same as her. Shes almost always a good lady but not a good influence and not one to be telling me the right way to raise my kids when ALL of her 4 kids are drunks and do drugs and they all live in poverty and all act stuck up and rich like they own the world and are all VERY materialistic. I do not want my daughter to be raised like that at all. We are soon moving 20 mins out of the city into a small town where my parents live i think it would be good for us in a nice 3 bedroom house with a backyard. Its a real home for us. I love my daughter so much i just want her to have a normal life. Everytime i try and talk to my ex about he freaks and literally calls me a dumb bitch and thinks because i am on welfare right now because i am pregnant and in school that i would never win. Keeping it as short & simple as I can: I came on my period Feb. 15, 2010 and it lasted for about 5 days. (pretty normal) Had unprotected sex March 1st, 2nd, 5th & 6th My menstrual cycle has pretty much always been irregular, coming every 3 weeks or so instead of 4 ( For ex: Since my last period was 2/15/10 the next one would be expected to come around 3/10 or so) Well, my period came on March 14, but it ended yesterday on the 17th. Last month I got my period on February 6th. My husband and I had frequent unprotected sex after I got off my period. My period will be two weeks late on Saturday but I've taken three at home pregnancy tests and all of them came up negative. I took one when my period was a day late, the second when I was a week late and the third when I was ten days late. Could I still be pregnant? Today was my due date, and still no baby. The doctor said that he didn't want to induce me because it can be painful and not always effective. He said he would rather wait it out and see if the baby comes on it's own. Well the baby hasnt come and Im losing my mind.The physical pain im in is indescribable.. ive tried everything from walking (3 miles!) sex, nipple stimulation, evening primrose oil, red raspberry leaf tea, orgasms, dancing, eating spicy food, accupressure... nothing is working for me! the baby's head is in the right position, but he hasnt even dropped yet. Im losing faith in myself that i will even be able to make it through the next week pregnant. i have this horrible PUPPs rash that is spreading from my belly to my legs and arms. its itchy and irritating and just unbearable! im not sure whats left that i can do.. is there any way to help my water to break? or stimulate strong/regular contractions? help meee.

About a week and a half ago she had babies 3 of them. I didn't witness it but i realized it about an hour after. None of them survived, it almost looked like she kind of ate one, because it had parts missing and was bloody the other two were flat looking but were still wet. She was on the other side of the cage when I found them. Now I noticed I haven't changed her food bowl since and her water bottle isn't going down much either. She isn't eating or drinking and acts as though she wants to vomit. She seems sick she still moves but when I held her she made weird sounds like she wanted to throw up and i could tell her body was tightning up. Its sad to see her like this I know something is wrong I was just wondering if someone could help me out by giving me some advice till I take her to the pet store I got her from and ask them whats wrong. For those who don't know my story, I've been trying to conceive for the past 2.5 years, have had 5 miscarriages from auto-immune issues, was suppose to start injectables, but got accidently pregnant the cycle before on my earliest natural ovulation ever. Currently 5 weeks pregnant, and on blood thinners and progesterone to help this one stick. I tested positive very early, at 8DPO. I've had 3 HCG tests done (my doubling time was 26-28 hours, fastest ever), I feel good, different from my last pregnancies, and generally very optimistic about this bean. I have 14 more days before I get my first ultrasound (on April fools if the ultrasound tech makes any jokes I'll kill her), and I'm honestly not sure how I'm going to last until then. So for the women who have had losses, how did you cope in later pregnancies. Any advice on how to relax until I can get the reassurance of my bean with a lovely heartbeat?

there was a question posted a few years ago with this same question. I have a thyroid problem and let me tell you when i go t pregnant in 1999 I was only 155 pounds because of Extreme dieting. When you have a low active thyroid it is nearly impossible to lose weight. you keep gaining and gaining in most cases and much of it is unexplained. you feel tired sometimes hungry many times not you want to sleep you feel never quite organized. you get headaches, feel angry and depressed because maybe you chose to have a unhealthy snack that you would not otherwise allow yourself such as a candy bar just to notice you want another one and your weight can go up as much as 5-7 pounds in week. you feel happy when you lose the weight thinking oh yes my dieting is paying off then you step on the scale two days later to realize you gained that weight back plus a pound or two more. and this you are not even pregnant. When I got pregnant the first time in 1996 I gained 60 pounds in one month. I knew something was wrong.. Evidently I also lost my baby in the first month of gestation. the pregnancy in 1999 I had no idea I was pregnant. At three months I was riding my bike for ten Miles but notice I was gaining Alto of weight. three months prior to that fI was 155 pounds. Three months being pregnant yet not having any knowledge but riding my bike, I went up to 171 pounds. Aft her that, when the doctor told me I also had gestational diabetes, I tried to watch what I ate, but I kept gaining at alarming rate. At the end of my pregnancy I weighed in at 297 pounds however, I had a healthy baby girl. two weeks after that pregnancy I immediately lost 75 pounds of weight much of it was water retention. So now let me tell what I did do wrong during my pr ego state--- I I ate rice my boyfriend was from southern india and they ate rice morning lunch and dinner so I ate I also ate bean and cheese burritos they were my favorite and I drank diet coke and ate hot cheetos. all wrong for my thyroid and diabetes. rice and beans can pack on the weight but I should not gained 145 pounds in this short period alot of it is thyroid and diabetes. my kidneys were not working and I had 3 liters of water when my water broke. I think its wrong when people assume we eat alot when we are fat. Its not true. I am 40 now and I decided to eat an ice cream cone the other day but I dread the five pounds I will gain from it. all I can say is dont eat too much rice watch the beans some veggies like potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, chemicals such as bleach it makes the thyroid sluggish and you will feel it and feel angry have a headache. etc. Honestly, I wish they had a cure for an under active thyroid besides the pill. My pill never worked after my pregnancy and after my son I stayed at 264 pounds before having gastric by pass surgery to lose the weight. now at 40 seven years after gastric bypass I started gaining weight again. Any suggestions? I have done everything. I eat healthy. I dont eat rice I dont eat beans I eat fresh veggies, I walk the dog, I stay actice, I get enough protein, I try to stay away from to many carbs I eat mnay oranges and green apples my favorite I eat fresh salsa with little salt however, I gained 35 pounds back I would love to lose it again.

I am 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I am now 3 cm dilated and I am continuing to have braxton hicks. I had to go to the hospital yesterday morning due to contractions that were 3 minutes apart, but after 2 hours my cervix didn't dilate anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get myself to go into true labor.

I was intimate on 12/6 with A & 12/18 with B........could my weeks be correct????? Who could be the father A or B? I feel horrible and I can honestly say I F***** Up! I'm the only 1 to blame.......:( stressing!!!!!!

(im 15) okay, so me and my bf had sex a week ago (March 12, 2010) and today is (March 18,2010), and so i don't know if it's possible to tell if i'm pregnant. I was stupid and had unprotected sex, but he didn't cum inside me..and we did that about 3 times that night. Now, 6 days later i'm going pee ALL the time, and I've been super tired...but also, we've been going hard in gym recently so that could be why, and i'm just plain stressed about the whole thing. Also, im quite bloated in that region all the time..it doesn't usually go away. How do i tell if 'm pregnant, because I am sketching out and I made the biggest misake of my life so far.....so please please helpp..! (thankss) <3 PS: we had sex on the last day of my period.

I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and was just wondering, is it normal to be having clear discharge, not all the time but every few times i go pee.. and my back is sore already which i didn't expect until i at least start to show.. also, i am having a lot of cramping and funny feelings.. but they are not as strong as period cramps so i am trying not to worry about them.. its just my first time going thru any of this and i don't see a doctor for another 3 and a half weeks.. so need some info because everytime i get the cramps i get scared that it could be a miscarriage.. Thanks guys! I know it can be such a hard time and so many questions to ask, so i figured i would ask on here instead of waiting until i get to see my doctor.. I'm not sure when i am due yet, but going by telling the doc my last period started on Feb 10.. so he told me around November 18.. will no more when i get ultrasound n what not.

I haven't had unprotected sex since I last got my period on Feb. 20th. My period was over in a week, no problems. I had protected sex twice the week after, and once more the week after that. All protected. So the last time I had sex was about 3 weeks ago. Each time protected. But, I just feel...not like myself. I ended up with a yeast infection, somehow. I heard you can get those during pregnancy. I never get them. I've had one years ago caused by antibiotics. My stomach is bloated and constantly the slightest bit upset and gassy(I'm taking green tea diet pills, if those can have anything to do with it, please let me know) and I just feel really nervous, as if I'm actually pregnant and just know it. My period is supposed to start any time before tuesday before it's considered "late", but I've been panicked enough and I'd just like to know if it seems like I could be pregnant? I'm an adult, by the way, and I RARELY have unprotected sex. That was a mistake I do NOT want to make again. Even though it was before my last period. Any help is appreciated. Thank you! I worded that weird. lol I got my period AFTER the unprotected sex. And it was a normal period. Nothing like implantation. I'm worried about the times after my period, even though I used a condom every single time.

um I been on this shot since Nov 09 and jus 3 weeks ago I had(kinda) sex wit my boyfriend unprotectedly .. though his penis didn't hardly go in it did go in a lil .. I was spottin a lil afterwards but ish its normal bkuz I have been spottin off and on already .. just two days ago I felt sick and wanted to vomit and been urinatin like crazy but always have .. so maybe I'm paronoid or really am prego .. So any advice from somebody that knows what they are talkin about please help ! :)

i was having sex with my boyfriend and when we were finished, i look at his penis with the condom still on and it was coming off...not only was there semen in the bottom but it looked like there was some coming all the way to the top. that was Friday the 12. since Monday my stomach has been hard and i have been eating a lot more and today i felt nauseated . i have also been exercising about twice a week starting 3 weeks ago. does anybody know whats going on?

Ok so, if i am pregnant today will be the begining of week 3, counting from my last peroid.. i had sex the day after my peroid ended and also had sex just over a week ago. So its too soon for me to take a pregnancy test, as i am not due on for another two weeks. Today i have been lightly bleeding all day.. so is this normal for this to happen in early week of pregnancy ? and how long will this last?

I'm 3 months pregnant with my boyfriend's child. Keep in mind, he is 31 years old, so we're not necessarily young people here. Well, my boyfriend has known about my pregnancy ever since I was 4 weeks pregnant (which is when I found out). I have already let family, friends, and co workers know that I'm due in late September. My boyfriend, on the other hand, won't tell anyone. He hasn't told his parents or anyone. It's almost as if he's ashamed or embarrassed that I'm pregnant. I told him that I'm going to go ahead and start looking into purchasing essential items for the baby like a crib, changing table, dresser, etc. and he says that we could get help with that "As soon as he tells his family". My whole issue is when is he going to and why hasn't he done it yet? I went ahead and bought the baby's crib because I don't have time to wait for him to make a decision on when he wants to tell his family. I found it highly insulting that he's putting it off so long. I make enough to where if I had to go it alone, I could, but am I being out of line here? Thanks.

To day I went to the dentist and got 2 of my teeth fixed when they numed or tried to numb one of my teeth after they pulled the kneedle out I all of a sudden felt really dizzy and my heart started to pund really fast I got so scared. The dude said I was just nervous and I wasn't at all and that, that's why I got dizzy but I was like no I wasn't at all!. Why could that have happened? Ok so that really wasn't my first question lol sorry! Any ways I didn't even get numed so he did it again only with something else and I still could feel pain when he was working on my tooth any ways he had to numb me 6 TIMES! After the 3rd time I told him no more! But he told me not to worrie that nothing would happen. I just felt so weird an not good I got 3 contracions while they where working on me. Could that stuff that they used to numb me harm my bab? And did it cause the contractions? I am 25 weeks 4 days. They did it 6 times because I could still feel pain when they were working on both teeth 3 on left side and 3 times on the right side and still after the 6th time I still felt pain only I didn't say anything because I didn't want to get numbed for the 7th time

Im 15 And I Went To A Program And It Was 3 Weeks And That Was About A Month And A Half Ago When I Got Out. And The Day I Went They Ran A Pregnancy Test Because You Excersise The Whole Time And I Did But I Gained 16 Pounds. I Have Sore Boobs , Some Discharge, Looks Like Im Pregnant , EveryOne Asks, ( I Have A Little Belly) Anddd I Had Sex A Few Days Before That Test. And Yes It Was Unprotected....... Helppp Pleaseeeee

Don't comment on this if you're going to be mean or nasty or irrational. I'm being serious just taking opinions. Anyway, ok think of this because I don't usually gain weight like this. I haven't had time to work out so it's not muscle or anything. Since tuesday I've gained 3 almost 4 pounds in 2 days! My stomach has poked out a lot more lately and I'm fairly thin so it's easy to tell, and it's firmer. I also have been burping up stuff and feeling a little nauseous the past several nights. Think it's possible? I'm not supposed to start for another week or so, I'm always on time, if I'm not I'll probably worry more then but I dunno what do ya'll think?
