My core temperature my entire pregnancy has been 96.7...I've gotten a cold recently, but I don't know if I have a fever...When I take my temperature now, it's 98.1..Would that be considered a slight fever?

Ok so my sister in law is prego 27 weeks , she didnt find out she was pregnant until she was 15 weeks or atleast that is what she says.... Anyways I know she drank during the time she was pregnant because i was with her but she denies she ever drank anything, she is 23 so I dunno why she would deny it and we all know she didnt know she was pregnant at the time. Anyway she got assistance to cover her but because of hurricane ike she had to wait for another month before being able to see a doctor THEN after that happened she had problems with the Insurance Company so now she is 27 weeks and FINALLY seeing a doctor , she was smart enough to start prenatal when she found out . Anyway she had her blood drawn when she was 17 weeks and the test came back positive that the baby could have down syndrom or spinal bifida but she is in denial , she keeps telling me NO the baby doesnt have that , the doctor started seeing her every 2 weeks , I went to the same doctor and he didnt start seeing me every 2 weeks until I was like 31 or 32 weeks so I found this odd. Anyone have any info about this test and what it could mean ?

My girlfriend is 23 weeks pregnant with twins, and has recently dropped from working 44 hours to 32 hours. (At least she requested 32, but employer is only giving her 25, they are now considering her part time.) She received 40 hours of sick time on the first of the year. But now her employer is saying that they are going to take that time away, and she cannot use it. If it shows in her pay stub that she has the time, shouldn't she be allowed to use it? Can they really just take it away?? We aren't sure of all of the Connecticut Laws, but it just seems like she is being discriminated against big time here. Please help us!! They did not "demote" her to part time yet, they are being laxadasial with thier paperwork. there for she is still in the system as a full time employee

My cycle is 32 days, and it has been 32 since I had a miscarriage in Jan 07. (I have been keeping track)...Anyhow I was due to start Oct 19th well that has definitely come and gone. I had extremely light spotting the first week of Novenber...reminded me of implantation bleeding that I had with my first pregnancy 1 month before my miscarriage. Well then almost 10 days after I spotted on Nov 13 i started spotting/bleeding and it lasted a little over two weeks. (I didn't even bleed enough to fill a pad...sorry tmi...my normal periods fill 3-4 pads a day)...Well during all this I have had multiple negative tests. I have multiple signs of pregnancy: sore breasts( which have doubled in sze in the last few months), consistent headaches, fatigue, frequent urination, nauseous but no vomiting.....etc. I am going to a free clinic at the end of this week for an ultrasound. Has anyone else gone through what I have....I have had an actual period of over three months...Please give me your input thank you

I was told by my current employer that my hours have been reduced due to company budget cuts (from 40 to 32 per week). In the same letter he stated that he was still assessing my request to maintain employment due to my pregnancy (I am 5 months pregnant). I found out last week that I will no longer be employed with my company once my delivery date rolls around. His reason was my maternity leave request was unreasonable. I originally asked for 3 months unpaid maternity leave and my boss thought that was unreasonable so my job is gone. Yet, he didn't even try to compromise a leave that would be more suitable for the company. I told him I was willing to work with him based on the needs of the company. So why didn't he want to do that? Is this considering discrimination? I am not coverd by FMLA because we have less than 50 employees at my office. Come to find out 2 women in my office got 3+ months off for their maternity leave. An at will termination would be acceptable yet I was told I was being axed due to my pregnancy. Therefore, I believe this circumstance is NOT an at will termintion especially since there is discrimination involved.

and for the last week i have had really bad braxton hick but tonight i am getting them quite alot and with needle pains in between my legs and they are really uncomfortable not pain full but really strong and my back achs to but its not a great deal of pain i also feel like i need to open my bowels but everytime i go to the toilet i dont they are not regular though is this just my body getting ready as cant go through this for the next eight weeks lol

First off, I am 32 weeks pregnant- so this may have something to do w/ that. But to such a weird degree? Lately, I've been having extremely intense (and sometimes aggressive) sexual dreams. I am pretty sure it has something to do w/ my RAGING hormones but is this normal?? I sometimes wake up feeling so ashamed...and sometimes disgusted with myself. It's humorous, somewhat, but in other ways I feel so wrong cuz its just not who I am...there's dreams involving other people (both genders), objects, etc. HELP!

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and trying to prepare to make life easier for when baby comes. I want to freeze some meals and stock the house and clean and organize it (nesting like crazy, lol). Obviously the nursery needs finishing too. I'd like to go to the movies once or twice and for dinner since I know that will be next to impossible once she's born. I am finding meat, fish and seafood very hard to choke down. I've always loved chocolate, but most days I can't eat it, along with other rich sweets. Coffee just about makes me throw up- especially on an empty stomach. I'm 32 weeks and we won't even mention what the first trimester was like! lol. I'm not sick now but I still have these food aversions. I wonder if they will go away afterward. How about you? And just the thought of KFC...ugh... makes me very queasy. Oh yes, I also hate Spam. how is your expierence with your doctor while pregnant? do they do everything by book like you read or see in movies, do they spend lots of time w/ you in your room ect... do they listen to your concerns and try their best to prove everythings ok? im going to be interviewed next week for a dr at this hosptial my curretn ob/gyn doenst spend more than 5 mins in my room. she hasn't done a pap, checked for infections or anything. i am 10 weeks pregnant and i've been spotting since i was 5 weeks (bright red) she has only gotten me in 2 ultrasounds, she says their expensive, and 1 blood work test at 7 weeks that came back 32,000hcg level. im just not sure this is right? is there really a doctor out there like you see on a baby story? lol i know thats silly but i feel lost and hopeless in this. i have appointment today at 9:45 and she pushed it up to 11:45, and she schedules 3 women at the same time and makes you wait, im just annoyed. thanks

Hubby and I weren't really trying but if it happens, it happens; we're well equipped to handle it. My cycle is between 25-32 days, (though usually between 28-30, anything after that only happens occasionally) and today is day 29 and I haven't started yet. I do have that wet feeling down there like I'm about to, and I've had mild cramps but nothing major. I also can't explain it but something just seems different. I'd like to test by Friday if I don't start by then, but would this be too early? If I was pregnant I'd be 4w4d by then.

My husband and I had been using condoms because i have a lower back injury and my doctor told me not to get pregnant, technically i wasnt supposed to be having sex. Well we ran out of condoms and didnt even remember to pick any up until things were hot and heavy in bed. Well, it is now almost 3 weeks later. I know I wasnt due to start my period until between the 5-7. I always have a 32 day cycle since i first started my cycles. Well 2 days ago i had cramps so bad I had to go home from work ( which isnt easy when you work in a prison ) i was sick in the stomach, threw up when i got home. Then i checked to see if i started my cycle early. I had a thick yellowish discharge then about 2 hours later i started finding grayish,pinkish fleshy like stuff on the pad i put on. The next morning i was bleeding very VERy heavily, and had cramps so bad I couldnt move. At first i thought it was my back injury, because my mom has a sever back injury and her cramps are horrible. Then i started passing blood clots so big that i was chaning my pad every 3 hours. Now it has slowed down, almost to a stop. I'm still feeling sick in the stomach. i took a test and it came up negative, but i called my aunt ( who used to be gy/ob) and she said that if i was early in my pregnancy and miscarried then it wouldnt come up positive. she also told me to go to my gy/ob but i cant get an appointment until like next week. Will I be ok or should i make the 6 hour trip to my aunts office to have her look at me?

I was two days late with my first. The week leading up to his arrival. I was getting BAD sharp menstrual cramps and got stronger until I was in labor. Then added back ache and the contractions. Now I am 31W3D pregnant with placenta problem and on bed rest. For the past two weeks. I've been getting BAD SHARP menstrual cramps, and strong contractions but nothing close together. My doctor already thinks she coming early, as do I. These pains are exactly how I was feeling a week or two before I gave birth to my son. Now with that in mind do you think I'm dilating already? Did you feel these cramps close to labor too? (I know some people feel cramps during their entire pregnancy but I'm talking about strong ones (like labor pains) ) How many of you experienced preterm birth 32+ weeks? What was the outcome? Tomorrow I go to the doctor so I'm going to have her check me internally or on the ultrasound machine she has in the office. I'll also ask for the steroid shot to help boost her lungs in case something happens. I just want to know others experiences and opinions on this. Thanks. To add: I'm not gassy nor backed up. That would be an easy answer for the cramps but nope. I go #2 quite a bit. Twice a day more or less. I'm pretty regular. Never had problems like taht with my first too. & yes my belly does get hard when it happens. I know their labor pains, because they are painful. But they come and go all day long so it's not like I'm in active labor or something. I'm definately asking my doctor tomorrow. I just wanted some input or experinces.

I am 32 weeks pregnant (8 months) and my unborn daughter's father (whom planned this pregnancy with me) left me at 8 weeks pregnant (2 months.) I haven't seen him since 12 weeks pregnant (3 months) and rarely talk to him. He has decided to come to my appointment and ultrasound tomorrow. I haven't seen him and barely have heard from him in FIVE months! I am so nervous, part of me doesn't even want him to come. I have had serious pregnancy complications since 22 weeks. I have no idea why he left, we weren't fighting, it was just one day 180. Any advice? I'm freaking out.

ok - i have been seen by 2 drs. i am hopefully seeing another dr in 2 weeks. i am currently 10 weeks pregnant. i have hcg level at 32,000 and i seen heartbeat. dr's can not tell me why ive been spotting bright red blood for 5 weeks, yes 5 weeks straight. sometimes heavy w/ clots and mostly spotting only when i wipe. the last 3 days i didnt spot at all, and low and behold i started again thsmroning. the Er couldn't even give me a reason. what should i do? i haven't had sex in over 6 weeks so its not that, im at a loss for words. well i had ultrasound at 4.5 weeks and 7 weeks and im having one tomorrow. so i guess thats more than the normal pregnant women? i dont think they ever saw twins. my one ob said she thinks i just have alot of extra blood in my cervix and its been really tender, but i just can't imagine that causing 5 weeks worth of bleeding. its really slowed down though which i guess is good...

When I was 29 weeks pregnant, I was measured by my midwife and my fundal measured at 33cm and at 30 weeks I ended up seeing her again and my fundal height was 35cm. And now at 32 weeks I'm measuring at 37cm. Does anyone know why? I am going for another scan tomorrow so i should find out, but if anyone has any ideas. ive got all my bags done but im scared cuz i thought i had longer to prepare myself. i didnt even now i was pregnant so when i found out i was i thought i was only 4 weeks because i was late but when i went for my first scan they said i was 14 weeks which was a bit of a shock, so the hospital gave me my due date

i know that health weight gain varies from woman to woman for each pregnancy, but im concerned with my gain. Probably because I just gained 15 pounds with my entire first pregnancy, I was hoping for the same. im currently 32 1/2 weeks pregnant. Prepregnancy weight was normal. Ive gained a total of about 27 pounds to this point. It feels like too much. I feel like a whale and that it will never come off. Being scheduled for a c section at 39 weeks, i have a little over 6 weeks to go. Granted the last two weeks of holidays didnt help when it comes to packing on an extra 4 pounds this time.

I've been with my boyfriend for 6 years on and off, just got back together in May and now i'm 13 weeks pregnant with our second set of twins. About in July we discussed getting married but he said he wasn't ready right now that we needed to wait for a year or so. I want to get married i'm ready to settle down with that forever commitment. Now that i'm pregnant the combination of me being ready to marry and everyone from his parents and cousins to my parents and friends are saying we should get marry, i don't know what to say to them i can't pressure him to marry me, but i want it so bad, after the conversation we had in July i don't want to bring it up. I must also say we've been living together since 12/06 and slit in 01/08 because i felt he should be a little more family oriented. ( i'm ok with being absorb with family 24/7 and he needs to be with his friends ) we got back together in 05/08. He's not too happy with the twins situation and understands they are coming so he will love his kids, but he's a little withdrawn and distant. our relationship is a little off because this is something both of us didn't want at the time, i've gotten over it and i can't wait for my babies, But he is still dealing. I had a drop of blood the day after Christmas, some brown junk in my underwear yesterday, and then last night when I went to the bathroom, I wiped and it was pink. I awoke this morning with a drop of blood (again), so I put a tampon in and the blood that was on it was very light and brown. Now there's nothing. I took a pregnancy test, but it came back negative, although I took it last night, not in the morning. Am I pregnant or is the stress that I've recently experienced plus the huge stress I have on myself right now to blame for my light period/possible spotting? Just to clarify... He came close to entering, as in he touched some part near the outer opening. My nipples are slightly sore and I have minor cramps, but that could also be indicative of my period. I've had slight bleeding and the blood started as really brown then I had some red, and now I woke up this morning and its brown again and stopped.

That we need more flipping money alotted for food?? We do a budget, but the whole idea of the budget is to reevaluate it every so often, see what needs more and what needs less money. He won't add more into the food. Its been 120 (for 2 weeks) for like 2 years.... Its getting freaking impossible to get EVERYTHING we need (there's four of us, but averages more like six or 7 between him, my younger sister, and me for now, as I'm 32 weeks pregnant). I do all the shopping and cooking, so he doesn't really know exactly how much food has gone up nor how much we use, and since I've been cutting every corner possible he assumes I can keep doing it, but really, I need the fresh fruit, not canned (and canned is in the budget, not fresh!). So, how can I show my dad that just $20 would be a great help in the food budget?? I'm here because my mom and dad wanted me to move back when I told them I was pregnant. I work for my mom in her bookstore (30+ hours a week) in exchange for rent and food and stuff for me and the baby. You didn't read. Its FOUR of us. Not just us 3. My shopping skills can't get any better. My mom doesn't even see how I do it sometimes, and SHE'S the one who taught me to shop! We can't get ramen noodles or mac and cheese or anything boxed because my mom has a hearing problem that is affected by salt, I'm pregnant and don't need it, and my dad has high blood pressure. We shop only at Wal Mart (there's a Sam's Club 30 miles away, and the savings don't justify the gas) and I only get generic brands. Its not that he doesn't have the money, he just doesn't want to put it in. (Mom said that, not me.)

Hello, I am 32 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I have been having some problems with this pregnancy, this is my first pregnancy too. Now I haven't mentioned anything to my doctor yet, and I'm wondering if I even should be concerned about this or not. Lately I have been getting these weird moments where I all of a sudden get extremely hot and start sweating, then I become very dizzy. At first these incidents only happened when I was standing up, and they were happening alot considering that my job requires me to be on my feet for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (I'm a cashier at Walmart). Well now these incidents are happening when I'm sitting down as well. And they've become more frequent. I'm not sure what to think about this, also my feet, ankles and legs are starting to swell really bad. One thing I did forget to mention is that I do have a low iron count, but that is the only thing that is wrong. And I don't know if these moments are because of that or if I should be concerned about something else? What are your ideas? Do you think I should bring this up with my doctor and see if I should quit work now to see if that helps or just continue working until it's time to deliver? Thanks.

Iam 38 weeks pregnant & im wanting to know if youd talk to your doctor about being induced if you were having these problems too.Not neccesarily being induced right away but like a couple days before my due date. I have bile in my blood stream an was given meds to help. ok.... From friday to today i have developed 5 blisters 4 in which have popped. My body has now rejected the medicine i was given. This is the second day ive bleed.All mucusy & that but sometimes not.Enough to need a liner/pad though.Its bright red not dried & i lost a blood clot yesterday. Im stuck at 2cms,im having very painfull & strong contractions but cant dilate anymore.They've even been 2-4 minutes apart. If you were me would you talk about being induced to your doctor aswell? I went to the hospital & they said that having sex was what made me bleed.HOWEVER i didnt start bleeding REAL blood till 18 hours later.Ive NOT had sex in over 32 hours an im still bleeding.

My boyfriend and I have never had sex before, but we came close to doing on the day (I learned) that I am most fertile. He got close to my opening, but we I freaked out and told him I changed my mind. He didn't ejaculate or anything. Now I've been under a lot of stress this last week that I've been expecting my period. I had a drop of blood the day after Christmas, some brown junk in my underwear yesterday, and then last night when I went to the bathroom, I wiped and it was pink. I awoke this morning with a drop of blood (again), so I put a tampon in and the blood that was on it was very light and brown. Now there's nothing. I took a pregnancy test, but it came back negative, although I took it last night, not in the morning. Am I pregnant or is the stress that I've recently experienced plus the huge stress I have on myself right now to blame for my light period/possible spotting? He came close to entering, as in he touched some part near the outer opening. My nipples are slightly sore and I have minor cramps, but that could also be indicative of my period.

I generally get my period every 31-32 days. I had unprotected sex about one week before my period was due. I should have ovulated the week before and not been fertile at that point . Well that was two weeks ago and my period never came. I am begining to think I may have ovulated late and concieved which is why I never got my period. I took a HPT and it was negative but I am having some early pregnancy symptoms. (I have a three year old) Could it be too early to test If I ovulated around the time we has sex then my period is not late yet.

Me and my husband are going to start ttc soon. I have always been worried that for some reason I won't be able to get pregnant. All I have is a functional ovarian cyst on my left ovary and my doc said it is ok to start ttc if I am ready. The cyst doesn't cause me much pain, if any at all. I am just worried in general that I wont be able to have kids or that we won't ever have a family. I don't know why I worry so much about it but all I can think about lately is looking down and seeing a small baby bump. Have any of you worried that you wouldn't be able to have kids or that your spouse would have problems before you even started? I want kids so badly someday soon and I don't want to go through any disappointment when we start trying. My period was a week late this month and it has never happened before. I started a new medicine 2 weeks ago and the doctor said that it can cause your menstrual cycle to be late. My periods are very regular and usually come every 26 days and this month it was 32 days!!!! =? Then today at work I heard a lady talking about how she couldn't have kids and went through all these fertility specialists and never had kids. have any of you been through this or can relate to me? We have 4 dogs, 2 of which are female (they pee on pads) but the other 2 are male and pee EVERYWHERE. Im 32 weeks pregnant and living with my grandparents...their dogs where never trained. The two males are at most 9 years old, so IDK if it's passed the point to where you can successfully train them to go outside. My question is...whats a good cleaning product to get the dog pee smell out? It has to be something other then just pinesol and water...and HAS to be something to use while mopping because it's not just certain areas they mark in its EVERYWHERE. IDK what to do...my baby will be here soon and I dont want all this mess around her. Their both small dogs, one is a weenie dog and the other one is a terrior mix. There are NO RUGS to rip out...it's hard wood floor, if even that. Im not even sure what kind of floor it is. The dogs aren't mine so I cant get rid of them, I have no where else to go so I cant just leave either.

I am only 32 weeks pregnant & cant sleep due to lots of pans that keep coming & goin... They started from high in me side & r starting to get lower & go round to my tummy also he is moving an awful lot lower in my belly & is normally higher... Is it possible that contractions can start before your waters brake, this is my 1st pregnancy & need to know wats happening, Please help me?...

I need some advice. I'm 32 weeks pregnant, i'm having contractions every 15 minuets that are lasting a minuet or more. I'd had them all day but they are just now getting painful. My doctor is out of town so if i go to the hospital i will have to see someone i don't know. How far apart should my contractions be before i go to the hospital? thank you. oh, I'm not having any unusual discharge etc. I did loose my mucus plug 2 weeks ago though.

Back on Sept 5th 2008 I walked in to the Emergency room due to consistent lower pressure around my abdominal area, I thought I had a tumor because my stomach had grown abnormally large. The doctor did and ultra sound and found out I was 32 weeks pregnant How could this be?? I had no morning sickness, cravings, I did even fell the baby move. After 14 years of marriage my husband and I did not think I was pregnant because back in 1997, 2 years after we got married the doctor diagnosed me with POS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome my symptoms were Menstrual Irregularities and Infertility, . The same day I was told I was pregnant I informed my Employer, Back in December of 2007 I was contracted out to a Charter school by a Staffing as a bilingual Secretary. 6 months later, On the 7th of July 2008, I was hired as a full time employee. I had only been employed as a permanent employee for 2 months when I found out I was pregnant Aprox 2 weeks after I informed my supervisor, she hired 2 temps from the same temporary agency, she asked me if I would train them so they can cover the office while I was on maternity leave. I agreed and did it to her satisfaction. During my 2nd prenatal visit, the doctor said there was something wrong with the baby I delivered the my daughter via section that day. I had my Daughter on Oct 6th 2008 On Oct 10th, the day i got home from the hospitol, I get a call from The HR main headquarters in New York . I was informed that I had not accumulated enough time off and did not qualify for any paid maternity leave she also informed me due to the FMLA guidelines they did not have hold my position and that were terminating me because my position could not be left unattended. I informed that my manager had me train two temps for this specific reason, She responded by saying this is the decision that management made, The week of Dec 23rd 2008, I received a letter from the Division of Employment Securities that I was being denied my unemployment benefits because according to my employer, I quite because I was pregnant and for personal reasons. This is a lie! I was fired! I am appealing for my unemployment benefits. But what can I do about being fired, and the company lying to prevent paying out the benefits ? What can I do? Yolie
