Resolved Question: Is it safe to travel during pregnancy?
(Thu, 02 Sep 2010 08:57:07 GMT)
My husband is from Illinois but we live in Oklahoma with my family. He wants to spend about 4 days in Illinois with his family and friends for thanksgiving. But I will be 34 weeks pregnant. The drive is about 8-9 hours. Is it safe to stay away for four days like that?
I'm gonna ask my doctor next week at my appointment but I was just wondering your opinions. I want to go. He hasn't seen them since I got pregnant. Anyway thanks.

Resolved Question: I'm 34, college degree, world traveled etc., but what does it mean to "grow up?"?
(Tue, 10 Aug 2010 19:38:32 GMT)
I'm in a safe place for the first time in a long time but I am sad because I married a man only because I got pregnant. I had tried a relationship with him for a year because he was very attentive but when I couldn't force myself to love him I moved out. I found out I was pregnant two weeks later and I still hadn't found work. I was bed ridden sick with morning sickness and he took care of me and got me on insurance. Now I'm 11 weeks along and realizing that I can't make myself love him no

Resolved Question: Could I possibly be pregnant?
(Thu, 01 Jul 2010 18:00:43 GMT)
I'm 34 and been on the pill for 20 years. I messed them up somehow trying to pack for travel to meet my boyfriend in CA. (I was trying to down size due to flying and packing regulations. I didn't want to take the whole pack.) I think I missed a few pills before I went but I took them the whole time I was there. I'm assuming my period was probably messed up b/c of this. About 10 days after I was in CA (and still taking my pill) I started spotting about a week before my period was due. This happ

I'm "the good girl" in your class.I have a hard time with rules. That's kinda why I'm pregnant, and now that I am, my dad doesn't care too much. I just have to stay safe, stay sane, and I can't sleepover at my boyfriend's hous

Resolved Question: Is it a good idea to travel at 34 weeks pregnant?
(Tue, 08 Jun 2010 03:48:24 GMT)
My in-laws are pressuring my husband to have us meet them in Tennessee, they will be there visiting family. It will be atleast a 6-7 hour drive, and I will be 34 weeks pregnant.
I am 30 weeks right now and the baby is doing great even though I am high risk. His head is down and I have been getting shooting pains and it is getting harder to walk since I am petite and he is large for week 30.
This is my first pregnancy, so I am nervous to travel so far and stay a couple days in the middle of

Resolved Question: Traveling while pregnant?
(Mon, 24 May 2010 20:57:30 GMT)
Alright; I am 34 weeks pregnant...will be 35 Thursday. There is a possibility I will be traveling in a car for 7 hours Saturday. I went to the dr today and he cleared me to go because I have had no complications and I am right at the cut off date for traveling. all he said was I need to get out every few hours and walk around for a little bit. What do you think?
I will be going with my mother-in-law to take my step daughter to see my hubby. He works out of town.

I mentioned this to my Dr. at my last appointment and she said it was fine to travel but to "take my records just in case" I have another appoinment next week (so before the trip) & I plan on asking again just to make sure. We will be driving. We go on this trip once a month so I know what it likes to sit in the car ( we stop frequently!)

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and last night mine and my whole families stomach was aching. We had gas with it.

Resolved Question: How many weeks pregnant should I have hubby get car seats installed at fire dept? 33 wks pregnant now?

I am asking because my dad and step mother are buy the car seat/travel system and I am having hubby go to the fire dept to get it installed properly. My step mom is yet to purchase it (after she said she was buying it 2 months ago then said she was going to wait for more coupons) At what point in this pregnancy should I ask her about it? I do not want to be rude by bringing it up but I am almost 34 weeks pregnant and starting to get a little nervous that we don't have it yet.

Resolved Question: Safe to fly on a 10-hr total flight time while 28 weeks pregnant?

Ok so my wife would be 28 weeks pregnant by travel time. We will be going on a long trip that totals 10 hours flight time plus layovers. This would be our second child. Our first was pre-term (34 weeks). With our first we were supposed to go on a short family trip but the doctor said not to which ended up being good advice because she delivered before the scheduled trip anyway. Now with this second one even if the trip is earlier in her pregnancy, the trip is a lot longer, out of our country,

Resolved Question: Do I Have Reason to Be Annoyed or Is It Just the Pregnancy Hormones?
(Wed, 18 Feb 2009 21:18:59 GMT)
Ok so I am 34 weeks pregnant and work full-time as a nanny to a little girl who is just about 3 months old. Every day I drive her to her moms office around lunch time to breastfeed. We live in Portland, OR so its cold, and often quite rainy. I am only paid $700/month to watch their child full-time, the trade off is that when my son is born, he will (theoretically) be going with me to work and I will care for both infants. In the meantime though, I've just been caring for their child solo, sinc

Resolved Question: Am I cutting it too close to be traveling at 32 weeks?
(Mon, 26 Jan 2009 14:54:51 GMT)
So, I've had a pretty picture perfect pregnancy so far. My In-Laws have decided to pay for a flight to Florida for my husband and I before the baby comes, which is really nice. The only thing is that I'll be 32 weeks pregnant at the time I'll be traveling. (We can't go any sooner). My doctor said that I can travel up until 34 weeks. Am I cutting it too close by flying at 32 weeks or should I be fine? Would you go that late or have you traveled that late in your pregnancy?
