Open Question: Having problems with low milk supply and need advice.?
(Sat, 04 Sep 2010 05:43:25 GMT)
Two main things are going on that I'm not sure why. First of all, I had some pink/light red spotting on and off for about 3 days 6 weeks ago and thought this was my first period, but since then absolutely nothing has happened. I'm not on birth control to regulate my period so would this be considered normal since I am breastfeeding? (my baby is now 7 months old and has been taking solids for 1 1/2 months now) My old cycle was about 35 days. I took a pregnancy test today for peace of mind and i

Open Question: Rear-ended at 35 weeks pregnant...?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 18:00:29 GMT)
Hello, when I was 35 weeks pregnant, I was sitting at a red light and was rear ended. I only had limited tort on my insurance. The guy hit me so hard that his front and side air bags deployed. I was not wearing my seatbelt (I know that was dumb, so please don't bash me for that), but I slammed stomach first into the steering wheel. He totalled my car and he hit me so hard that I hit the person in front of me. I began having stomach, neck and back pains. I was taken via ambulance to the closest

Open Question: 35 weeks pregnant with a 27 month old!?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 17:43:53 GMT)
Hi ladies - I know this really isn't the category this should be in, but I only got one answer in the toddler section. I'm hoping some of you that have toddlers can help me!
I have a 27 month old son. He still sleeps in his crib, and apparantly is quite content. We are having a new baby in 3 weeks so I'd like to start transitioning him out of his crib. I bought him a race car toddler bed a couple of months ago, but he will not sleep in it. I've tried letting him fall asleep and laying him in

Open Question: Any advice for preparing our cat for our new baby?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 15:31:31 GMT)
I'm almost 35 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I are expecting our little girl to arrive soon. We also have a female cat. We adopted her from a shelter when she was a kitten, which was almost two years ago. She's an extremely sweet cat, usually very timid, but she loves being near me. She especially likes sleeping next to me, which is going to have to stop when the baby gets here, as we'll have the baby in the room with us for the first couple of months. This cat has undergone some changes b

Open Question: Anyone out there have negative pregnancy tests for the first several week but still turned out to be pregnant?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 13:36:06 GMT)
I had sooooo many symptoms I was convinced I was pregnant. My period was really late. I took a test on days 32, 35, 38, and 41 and they all were negative. My period started on day 40, it seemed normal with lots of cramping. I still really feel like I'm pregnant though so yesterday I took another test and was crushed to find another negative :'( If you had the same thing happen to you, please share, I think it would help me cope. Or if you had been getting negative tests for weeks before yo

Open Question: I have a problem, can anyone help me out?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 02:40:15 GMT)
I am pregnant and my doctor says that I can not have intercourse.
The doctors don't want me to, because I have already gone into pre-term labor at 33 weeks, I am now 34 and 1/2 weeks, and the doctor I saw Monday said that if I make it to 35 weeks and I go in to labor they will let it happen.
I was wondering if there was any way to "please" my husband and myself, other then oral. The doctors say that I can not have anything "inside" so what can I do?
So is it safe for us to have intercourse or

I have to get my kids to and from school everyday, and have to wake up earlier than normal. I try to rest when i can, but cant ever actually sleep. Open Question: Scabies or pregnancy related rash?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 01:17:20 GMT)
35 weeks pregnant. About four days ago I started getting these little red bumps that come and go and are incredibly itchy. So much so that I'm making myself bleed and can't sleep through the night (or the little parts of the night that I'm not running to the bathroom). When I told my mother about it the first day, my brother heard and said "yeah, I've had the same thing for a few days." His went on to be figured as a bed bug rash after inspecting his room, but mine seemed to have no cause. My

This morning i woke up and my discharge was still brown but lighter, and this afternoon its like a tan. I had a few errands i had to run and i found it very hard to walk! There was soooooo much pain in my pelvic and back area. The only thing that helps is sitting down, but i still feel pressure. I wasn't sure if my discharge was from the pain im havin

I am 35 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first was born 11 years ago and I am now 33 years old. I was a little afraid and I know that's normal, but I was very excited only a few months ago to have this baby. Now that the time is drawing nearer I feel myself beginning to panic! Open Question: Stabbing pains in my vagina/cervix?
(Thu, 02 Sep 2010 14:57:22 GMT)
(sorry tmi) I am 35 weeks pregnant and last night i got HORRIBLE stabbing pains in it felt like my cervix. It was very painful to where i couldn't move and i was almost in tears. I don't think it was contractions because it only happens when the baby moves. I am a very small person so i figured that's why it hurts so bad like the baby is hitting my cervix or something. Is there another explanation for this? Has anyone else experienced it?

Today I got a positive pregnancy test, so I'm very excited! I just wanted to ask this question to those of you pregnant mommies who work/worked during your pregnancy. I am a cashier/maintenance person at a nationwide truckstop. I work anywhere from 35-45 hours per week. I am always on my feet and when I have to work in maintenance, I am around cleaning chemicals. I have never had a problem with being on my feet every day and being on the go. But I have noticed that my feet hurt a little more t

Open Question: Questions about birth control pill?

What are the chances of ovulation occuring when taking the pill a few hours late? At about 130 am (on Sunday) I started getting sore breasts. They tend to feel better at night but then by mid morning or mid afternoon they are completely painful again. Open Question: 35 weeks pregnant Friday?
(Wed, 01 Sep 2010 22:22:28 GMT)
I guess I do know that its time to pack the hospital bags. But I do have a question. When is it good to sterilize bottles and pacifiers? I thought about doing it like today, tomorrow, or soon after if not those two days. But some1 told me that that wouldnt be a good idea to do it that soon. So, will it be a good idea to wait after i get out the hos? I mean babies can always come early & unexpected im sure. So im confused. And i do plan to breastfeed, but who knows how that will work out 4 me.

Resolved Question: Do you think my baby's head is down?
(Wed, 01 Sep 2010 21:32:46 GMT)
I'm 34-35 weeks pregnant, before this I think my baby use to be in a side way position...because my right side will have a huge bump (which looks like a head) and I will feel plenty of kicks on my left side. Then on Sunday, I went to the grocery store and had this pain...(hurtful! Hurts more than Braxton Hicks Contraction!) came back home and 30 minutes later I was fine again. However for these couple of days my stomach looks more like a rounded egg or like a nice football, no more uneven bump

What could cause my period to be late if I'm not pregnant? I usually have 35 days between each period, now it is 40 days. I always use condoms with my boyfriend, and I took 2 pregnancy tests after 35 days, and both were negative. I have gone 40 days before, but never over 40 days.
Nor am I under particularly a lot of stress either, it will be lots of stuff to do this week though.
What could it be?
