Im 37 weeks and I honestly can not take being pregnant anymore. I cant sleep, the aches and pains are driving me crazy, I understand labor is painful but I rather go a day of pain then be done than having aches and pains for 3 or more weeks. i'm 37 weeks pregnant, i had my antenatal visit on monday and i have gestational diabetes, im being induced on monday but i need some advice, i am finding it extremely difficult to walk, the doctor gave me co codamol for the pain but last night i must of got up too quickly or something as today i am in agony and cant move, i can feel the baby moving a lot so i think he is ok? he has been moving a lot, is it a sign of stress for him? i have no other symptoms just pain in my lower abdomen, i'm just worried cos i have the diabetes, should i go to hospital now to be checked out, what do you think?

i am going to be 37 weeks on Saturday and i have a doctors appointment today. i have a cyst on my thigh ive had since Ive been about 6 months pregnant and it keeps coming back and gets very puffy and inflamed. the only way to get it to go away is to have it removed which my doctor wont do until i hae the baby. the cyst is very painful and it hurts to walk. will the doctor induce me at 37 weeks so i can have it removed??

I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant and i keep getting brief but painful numbness in my groin usually only on my right side. it only lasts like 15 seconds if that but it hurts an immense amount, it can happen at any point during the day doesnt matter what im doing. this happened a lot the last like week or 2 of my pregnancy with my son but i never thought to bring it up to the doctor. it happened really bad the night i went into labor, is this a sign i might be getting ready to go into labor or could it be the baby just sitting awkwardly, i dont feel like hes dropped into the position he would be in if i was to give birth tomorrow, but he is head down.

I've noticed that if I'm supposed to get my period around exam time, I'll skip it completely or it'll delay a few weeks. I am sexually active, and I had sex at the end of my last period. A condom was used but the person didn't "finish" inside me (if you know what I mean..) Actual intercourse only occurred for a little while and then the end result didn't happen until much later during other activities. Anyway, I recently went through a round of midterm exams -- 4 exams in 5 days. I slept and ate very little and experienced some degree of stress. My period is usually longer than 3-5 days. It's more like 7-8, so I never have a 28-day cycle. It's been 37 days since the END of my last period, and I'm just now going through the symptoms of PMS. My PMS is usually very routine and I'm seeing all the normal signs of it including increased clear discharge, acne on my back, chest, and face, bloating, diarrhea and fatigue. I really DON'T think I'm pregnant so that's not my reason for posting. What I am concerned about is why does my period seem to be so irregular when I've had it for 7 years?

I started having double vision about 2 weeks ago. My OB immediately hospitalized me because my blood pressure was sky high & he feared pre-eclampsia. Labs came back normal & he referred me to an opthomalogist who diagnosed sixth nerve palsy. I have had bloodwork, an MRI & they have ruled out diabetes. All is normal. I am now working with a Maternal fetal physician who called me her "project" & I am seeing a neurologist tommorrow. I am seeing 4 doctors now & not one knows when or if my vision will come back or if the 2 issues are even related. They have me on blood pressure meds & are monitoring me twice a week. I am 32 weeks & MFP says she probably won't let me go past 37. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this & when the vision problem resolved. Most think when my BP is under control it will come back but no one has that much experience with it. Also, unfortunately they won't release me to go back to work & I don't have disability through them. Are there any other financial compensation options anyone is aware of?

So I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I'm having EXTREME pelivic pain when I try to walk.. that's if I can get up its in my lower back as well I can't even roll over in the bed because I can't lift my legs to flop then over to the other side without "yell out loud" pelvic and lower back pain pain, this has been happening since about 9pm last night (central time) . Walking is very uncomfortable and painful, when I whipe there is chunks of mucus on the TP but no blood streaks or any thing. What does all this mean?? Also getting up from laying down I have to have help because the pelvic pain is crazy. But it isn't cramping.. I hate making trips to the hospital unless I just have to. Does this sound at all like anything any of you have heard of?

It started separating when I was 30 weeks pregnant, and my doctor said that this was normal. I have never felt so much pelvic pain in my life! I can't barely walk, or turn over without it feeling like it is ripping apart! It has also started grinding together when i walk and popping. It's excruciating pain and my doctor see's no sign for concern! Every woman i have talked to about this has said that yes it does hurt but not nearly as much as I have been hurting. I was wondering if there could be more than just my pelvic bone separating? Who else has experienced this much pain with it? How long before the pain will go away? And is it possible to break your pelvic bone during child birth? Do you think my doctor should be more concerned then what he is? Thanks so much in advance!

I am 37 weeks pregnant and have a 2 and half year old.. He has been a very very good sleeper since the day he was born. But this last month or so he wont sleep for nothing. He has never had a problem going to sleep or sleeping in his own bed because I have always put him in his own bed and made him put himself to sleep. Now all of the sudden he want to wake up every hour and climb into bed with mom and dad. He takes one nap during the day and has no problem with sleeping then. I have tried everything I know, feeding him at 7 30 (his bedtime is 8) then giving him a warm bath, putting a radio in his room, sleeping with a stuffed animal.. I've tried everything! I need sleep before the new baby is born! Please help. Any suggestions would be nice. I think my two year old is trying to prepare me for the new baby but I need some sleep. He is very very active. The only time he is not up running around and into things is when he is asleep. He is very much tired at the end of the day, but he just wont sleep.

I was wondering if this was an early labor sign for anyone else. I am so ready to have this baby... By going to the bathroom I mean having bowel movements.. I go pee all the time anyway. ( I dont have a whole lot of room for baby as I am only 4'11 and tipping the scales at 109 pounds.) He is head down, and has been for a few months now. How long did it take when the soft stools began for you to go into labor?

hi im 37 weeks pregnant. I feel like im going crazy. I left the father of my child becouse he is not a good guy to say the least. he just got out of jail and im scared of what he might do..im scared for my unborn baby. besides all that i have been having a horrible pregnancy..physically im in pain. The hardest part is that i have no one to talk to..my mom has been there for me throughout the whole pregnancy untill recently. For the past week she has done nothing but put me down and try to make me feel bad about myself. i have been nice with her and the other day out of the blue she brings up my past and tells me to make a plan to not date anyone who has been in prison. that really hurt me becuz she know's how much i have changed and that ive obviously learned my lesson. When i asked her why she was bringing it up infront of my 11 year old sister she started going on about how she had to grow up too fast anyway becouse of me. I allready feel bad about it,im chnaging my life and i don't know where all this was coming from. later that night my dad came home from work.i was on the computer and he wanted to show me and my mom something on facebook. I logged out and told him to sign in to his if he wanted to show us and he freaked out and started yelling at me telling me how selfish i am..when i got emotional my mom stuck up for him. I felt so alone,then he told me that if i was stressed out then to look for an apartment. How am i going to look for an apartment with not a dollar to my name..im in school full time i cannot work. he always says stuff about me living with them making it obvious that he doesnt want me there. it really hurts alot. then i started crying and my 17 year old sister shows up and starts making fun of me, she always says rude things about me being pregnant and my parents don,t do anything about it. i try to talk to them about it but now they dont even care..my mom has been so mean to me today. I really cannot take it anymore,i have no one to talk to..i have friends but they dont understand. My mom told me today that if i dont pull myself together than i would have to stay at my grandparents house untill the baby is born. maybe if she could put herself in my shoes and show a little concern instead of making me feel like crap i wouldnt have to pull myself together bc i would be fine. ! don,t know what to do anymore...plz help.

So I filed for child support 2 months ago. My son is 15 months old and his father hasn't paid a dime towards anything for him his entire life. I have been doing it on my own as a 21 year old single mother. He is a police officer in our town so he has a stable job and it also 16 years my senior making him 37 years old. I was young and stupid when I got pregnant but I have pulled up my boot straps and stepped up to the plate taking care of my son. Paternity was established at birth so that is not a question. The reason it has taken me so long to file for support is he kept saying he would help but never has come threw. Well at this point I really need his support we now have some unexpected medical bills, my car died and I had to buy a new one (used but new to me), I started going back to school. I am super overwhelmed with bills but I am making it by with the help of my amazing man. I am tired of having to burden my boyfriend with all that is going on and I really need the support from my son's father. I have been calling the child support office every week since I filed to try to get some answers and today they said that they had send out for him to be served on March 4th but they will keep trying to serve him for 30 days before they try to serve him at his job. So it could be another 3 months before I get support and the support wont back date it just goes from the day the judge sets the support amount. I feel as though I am being screwed over by the state and there is no one helping. I am so frustrated with how slow this process is and since I haven't gotten state aid in the past year I can't even go for back support. What can I do to get the process moving? Has anyone else gone threw this? I am just so frustrated.

I had a 24-hour urine collection Saturday; picked up the results today and everything came back normal except for the protein levels: 364 mg/dl (range 0.0-149.1) My blood pressure is actually low, no edema (swelling); just feeling a bit more fatigued now, but I'm 37 weeks pregnant so I don't know if that's normal...I never had this with my first pregnancy and my baby came early at 34 weeks due to PROM (premature rupture of the membranes). I'm 37 weeks 1 day today, I have an appointment tomorrow...I'm a bit concerned, will they hospitilize me? Will they induce/do an emergency C-Section? Anyone go through this?? Please help :( I've read everything from kidney disease to preeclampsia to UTI and I'm really concerned.

Okay this morning I woke up and my underwears were juss a tad wet but it wasn't a discharge kind of wet like a pee wet. So being curious I smelled it and it smelled kind of sweet but weird.a smell I've never smelld before. So I decided to change my underwears again and about 20 minutes later they were a tad wet again... Same smell. I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience or what you think it might be. Everyone else is concerned about my swelling but the doc keeps saying its normal and nothing is showing uo in my urine. Could the doc be hiding something so I will not be worried? Also she does not seem concerned that I want to work up until a few days before my due date even though I'm tired and moving slow could me working hurt the health of the baby?

my cousins husband just cleaned the bathroom with this cleaning spray and he used wayyy too much of it and now i feel light headed and nausious. i am also 37 weeks pregnant. is my baby okay? it's not like i can get away from the smell because my bedroom is right next to the bathroom and so is the living room adn its very strong. he didn't even warn me that he was cleaning, like wtf? i don't want to make a big deal out of it just incase everything is alright. this is my first baby so i have no experience.

This is not my first pregnancy as I have two beautiful children how ever they are both over ten but my life had been so turned upside down since July 09 that Im just not sure. I have been keeping a eye on my period dates for the last three months as I need to start finding where my cycle is after being pushed & I really mean pushed into terminating a pregnancy by the man I had been seeing for the last 2 and half years (without getting into great detail he basically told me if I didn't go through with it he wanted nothing to do with the child it would never know him or his other child and that all I would see was matinece from him really big of him since his 37 and in secure life that had been seeing me for over two years this was a great shock and no I did not get pregnant on purpose as I am already single working mum with a mortgage and not a great deal of support I went against everything I felt and believed and let him take me to the clinic pay for it and drop me at home after and watch him drive away like nothing. it took me a few months to start to come to terms with what I did and I will never forgive my self for it but what is done is done and cannot be changed. because of the termination and the complications caused by it my cycle was knocked out however my last two periods have started on the on the 2nd of the month being 02/01/10 and then on 02/02/10 which should make my latest due on the 06/03/10. Out of my own stupidity I went gave in afer finally answering one of his calls and agreed to go see and have a talk with the man I had the termination with after months of him asking me to talk to him and just meet him as he felt we had both handled it wrong this was on the 09/02/10 we went out and as much as I hate him for what he pushed me to do and that I let him push me to do I still feel for him and we end up sleeping together now he did pull out however a small drop as he did this was left just in the entrance now I know it only takes one sperm. I am now two days late and I took a HPT last week on wed that was neg as my breast were tingling a little but this some times happens premenstrual to me what do you think the chances are I am pregnant ??? and if I am before anyone says anything I have decided not to tell him and I will keep the baby and find a way to stay working I have already ceased contact with this man and will not answer his calls since seeing him on the 9th Feb as I know its going to be the only way I can get over him as I have a all to forgiving heart for him and it just hurts to be near him and this he knows so I will not let him use me becuase he cant make his mind up . if i am pregnant I have no intention of telling him after what happened last time I do not want to be shattered again for me of my family

After when I went to the bathroom there was what looked like a pink thing in the toilet and when I wiped it was goey and pink. I am 28 weeks pregnant and i am in hospital because i had some painless light bleeding, i have been here for two weeks but have not had a bleed for about a week, I am told i am too stay here until they deliver, I have placenta previa and placenta accreta/percreta so my placenta has attached to my bladder, I was told if I do not have any more bleeding they will do a planned c-section at 36-37 weeks and only before that if i hemorrhage, If you have had either of these conditions could you please let me know when you delivered and why you delivered, what was the complications etc, these doctors give me different answers every day and its extremely frustrating:(, this is our 4th pregnancy so i know all about been pregnant just confused.

To make a long story short. I started dating this guy, I later find out he dated my older sister whom he lost his virginity with. I am 23 he is 33. Dated my sister when he was 19. Ok, so every time I am around her I get tense and I feel extremely uncomfortable. This coming Saturday she will be down for my nieces birthday party. I plan on going but I don't want to. I want to go but I don't want to go if that makes any kind of sense. I am 37 weeks pregnant and I don't want to feel uncomfortable if I don't have to. I don't know what to do. okay, so i'm a doctor, and i've been keeping track of the contractions, which none of us are sure if they are real contractions or braxton hicks (fake contractions) so... we are ready everything is packed, but should we go to the hospital? she is 37 weeks pregnant. plus today we went to the zoo, very, very big zoo, and she bleeded a little bit. so were a little scared. (NOT A PREGNACY DOCTOR)

I am a little nervous about this because I don't want it to harm my child while I am giving birth. Would it be better for me to be induced or have a c-section? I'm not sure. I am allergic to Penicillin so I don't know how effective the alternate anti-biotic is going to be. I just have read some awful things about what it can do to your baby. So if anybody has a story that could ease my mind. Some knowledge and experience you could share would be greatly appreciated for this worry wart of a mommy. lol.

My periods tend to be a little irregular. My last three periods were 37, 36, and 32 days so they seemed to be getting back on track. My last period was January 28th. I have had cramps like I am about to start my period any second for a week now. I usually have horrible pms and I haven't had any. My boobs aren't even sore at all and they usually hurt really bad. I should have started either March 1st or March 4th. I know you should use first morning urine but I couldn't wait so I took a pregnancy test a few minutes ago. I got a BFN. Should I assume the test was accurate? I am late by at least a few days. I have been under some stress though, and I started a new diet in which I'm trying to gain weight and take in more calories. I held my pee for about 4-5 hours but it looked a little diluted. It was more of a pale yellow. I haven't had too many liquids....I had half of a Dr. Pepper and that's all I've had for the last several hours. The last time I was pregnant I had a positive test a few days after my missed period and I took it in the afternoon. It was a really dark line, too. So am I probably not pregnant? I'm on CD 39 as of right now. I'm beginning to feel really discouraged.

im almost 37 weeks pregnant. i know braxton hick contractions are normal earlier and i think i have had them. ive looked up the differences between those and labor contractions but reading doesnt really help me with how they feel. and i know many women are different. so from experience, can u describe what ur BHs felt like and what ur labor contractions felt like? the last few hours ive had kinda like cramping in my lower tummy and pressure, but again, ive never been pregnant before so its hard to tell. no mucus plug or water broken yet. thank u!

Ok so im 37 weeks pregnant and ive been having little to no fetal activity all day. My baby is usually very active all the time and now today its weird im really worried its my first pregnancy. What should i do? Thank youh so much everyone i went and everything was ok better safe than sorry

I am 37 weeks pregnant and have started having the weirdest craving... I constantly crave citrus peels, specifically orange or lemon, I don't actually eat the fruit, just the peel. I asked my doctor he said it was ok as long as i ate organic ones and washed them thoroughly because of pesticides. And when i say craving, I mean serious addiction lol! I was just wondering if anyone else had any crazy cravings or had an explanation for mine??

ok so ive had spotting the past couple of days, its a brown colour, i had my hcg levels checked 6 days ago and they were 15 then 2 days later they were 37 then today they were 65, my doctor has told me these levels are too low for the pregnacy to continue and i will will miscarry soon, has this happened to anybody else, i havnt had much spotting today at all, only like 2 dots.. thanks in advance.. im so confused because shouldnt my levels be going down? they check my hcg levels because i am high risk of ectopic, as i had a tubal ligation reversal 12mnths ago, but my doc dosnt think its ectopic because i have no symptoms
