I am almost 36 weeks pregnant. I took Paxil for around,8 months pre pregnancy and then had to stop after finding out I was pregnant. I went through 3-4 different anti depressants that were considered safer but they had no affect on me. They put me back on Paxil during pregnancy because I got so bad but all it did was make me puke. So I stopped. I have been doing without for 3-4 months now and I'm finally nearing the end of my pregnancy. Paxil worked wonders for me before I got pregnant but I've heard once you stop taking it,it no longer works for you when you try again. Should I get back on it once I have the baby? I have OCD and depression/anxiety and it can get really bad at times.

I know every pregnant woman gets Braxton hicks, but I honestly never felt them with my daughter. I guess, because they just weren't very strong. I didn't even know what a contraction felt like until I was induced. I am 32 weeks now with our son (they will be 11 months apart) and he is a very active and strong baby, but I just can't tell if this "thing" that is happening is Braxton hicks or not. I get a uncomfortable feeling in my low abdomen, tightening and when I feel my stomach it feels like the "tight ball" they say the contractions feel like, but I'm just not 100% sure if its that or him pushing out everywhere. lol you'd think I should know, but oh well. Well, i've posted on here a couple of other times this month about my problem. My menstrual cycle is 33 days apart. I had my last menstrual cycle, January 26th. So i should have ovulated anywhere from the 9th-20th. My next period was due February 28th. well the 28th came and gone, and then the 3rd came. I started spotting very light that day, and then spotting very lightly dark brown for 4 more days. I read that this could happen in pregnancy. well, after the spotting stopped, my breast started getting really tender under my armpits and breast. My nipples have been very touchy and have been tingling, o and i have blue veins on my breast and abdomen. i have mild little cramping, twitches in my abdomen. Well today is the 11 of march. i still haven't had a period or so i thought. i really thought i might of been pregnant this time. this would be my first, and very wanted. i've taking 5 urine test, and went to women's health for a urine test. they are all negative. I would be six weeks pregnant. but im starting to doubt my self now. Has anyone ever went through this. Has anyone ever got a positive test. im so confused the docs cant give me answers. i still have two more options. 1. wait two weeks 2. get a blood test I have been very depressed today, moping around and crying. This is very hard on me, all i have ever wanted was a child. we have been together 5 years. i've always wanted kids, it was the if it happens it happens. now for the past year we have been trying every month. we havent used protection in 4 years

My cat is on her eighth week of pregnancy and surprisingly still very playful and active. She IS pregnant because she's had an ultra sound and has 4 kittens on the way. She's been safely dewormed and had her flea shot by the vet (safe for pregnant cats). Everything is up to date so I know she isn't ill. Lately she's been losing TONS of fur but she doesn't have any bare spots. She's not a long-haired cat. She's a tabby. She's never lost so much fur until recently. The past couple weeks she has but it's increased. I was brushing her the other day (not because she needs it but because she enjoys it) and ended up with a huge ball of fur. I was just now petting her and she was purring and everything, and then I looked down at my T-shirt to see it nearly covered in fur. I pet her with one stroke and bits of fur will fly into the air. It's like she's a dog that's shedding very badly. Should I be worried? Or is this normal? She seems fine otherwise--playing, eating, drinking... So...I think i might be pregnant. Gonna take a test tomorrow morning. I've been having light cramping for a week or two now, and earlier today there were two really painful cramps in a row...like I normally get really really bad cramps during the worst of my period and they felt like that (I'm not due for my period for 4 more days). went to ob ward last night having contractions they checked me said from the dr appointment in day when i was 3cm and 90% effaced i was now 3 1/2 so the made me walk for an hour then checked again i was 4 1/2 they gave me a room and put iv in me but this morning the sent me home because my contractions slowed and i was still 4 1/2 and i've been spotting blood since yesterday

Please bare with me if this gets long, I really need some other parents insights. Ever since my daughter was 3 years old she started getting severe ear infections. Since then they have become more frequent and more severe. Her father has had major ear problems all his life, with tubes and everything and it didn't help him, and he suffers serious hearing loss at the age of 30. He's totally against tube and anything else since they didn't work for him. I know 3 other ppl that the tubes have worked for, and worked miracles for. Her father and I are not together anymore but made a vow to raise her as a team and stay friends which we do very well. I am the primary parent. This past winter she has gotten 4 ear infections that also caused a high fever of 103, which is usually what happens. There have been other days that her ears have bothered her, and she didn't run a fever, so I put drops in them and they took care of the ear issues at that time, but they keep coming back. I've missed a lot of work between her ears and being 25 weeks pregnant and having issues of my own with the pregnancy. Today I almost lost my job b/c of my days missed and had to put up a fight to keep it. Thankfully I still have my job right now. Today I told her dad we have to do something about her ears or I'm going to lose my job from missing so many days of work. He finally said okay I guess we can see what else needs to be done, he's not happy with it, but at least he is on board with it. So a few questions: Did your child get tubes and what was the outcome? What else besides tubes may they do? What worked best for your child? And have you ever heard of Prevnar? My cousin just told me about this shot, earlier this evening. Her oldest who is now 10 had this series of shots(she had ear infections a lot too), only had to have two of them, and said it worked great and she hasn't had a problem since. I've done research on it, and still divided as there are many different opinions on Prevnar. If you tried Prevnar for your child, what was your outcome? Thanks so much for any help/advice/experience/direction you can provide. This is getting to the point that I have no other choice. And I've noticed just the last couple days my daughter isn't hearing very well at all, although she said her ear is "great" now, when it was bothering her the beginning of the week. Her dad has went to an ENT specialist many times and continues to go and nothing is working for him, this is why he is so against and ENT specialist since it didn't and hasn't yet worked for him. My boyfriend and I have a 4 month old son and he has been in jail since I was 5 months pregnant. I think they are so mean for not calling or checking on the baby regularly. My boyfriends dad used to call all the time but he is out of the country until next month and I only talked to him once since he has been gone. When my sons dad comes home from jail I know he will be bringing the baby around them but I feel like they aren't around now so why should I let him go around later? I really don't know what to think. I am more mad at my boyfriends mom because she is the grandma even if the aunts can't come around or call to ask me to bring him around the grandma should... the last time she seen him was new years day and we only live 30 mins apart. I feel bad for my son that his dads family is funny actin (my family is over several times a week, requesting him @ their homes, calling to check on him etc) one of his sisters called last week and we were supposed to do something but she never followed up.... his mom called earlier this week and was supposed to cook for me and have us come over but she never followed up. should I tell him this is how his family is acting?? they have always acted like they like me, never gave me a reason to think otherwise, and they know I'm not the reason he is in jail... I'm his only communication to his family, they know I am 1 of the only people keeping his head above water in jail... I also know his mom got a new client that is taking a lot out of her and she used to call often so maybe I should reach out to them a little more and see what happens... maybe I should tell them how I fell instead of telling my boyfriend. I had a c-section January 31st, almost 6 weeks ago. Before getting pregnant I weighed 110 pounds, and I'm 5'4" and 32 years old. When I had the c-section I was 177 pounds. During the first week after the baby being born, I lost almost 30 pounds. But that was basically water and the baby. The doctor told me that it would take 6 weeks for my uterus to go back to normal size. But my belly still looks like I'm about 4 months pregnant. I'm curious to hear from those who have had c-sections. Please tell me about your weight loss and how long it took. Also I want to know if I will always have this belly? Before getting pregnant I always had a flat tummy. Thanks in advance. My Doctor told me that the passing gas thing was only important because that way they know you are ok to go home from the hospital and that your intestines are working proper. I was able to pass gas on the second day after the c-section. I guess I'm just a bit depressed and worried, because none of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit. I'm still wearing maternity pants and sweat pants. I realize I just had a baby, but the weather is getting nice and I'm tired of wearing maternity clothes.

I just found out 2 days ago that I am pregnant. We weren't trying, but I was aware there was a possibility so I tested early. Anyway, I have a history of one miscarriage at 10-1/2 weeks and also have a 16-month-old daughter. This being my 3rd pregnancy, I'm cautiously optimistic. Every since tuesday (9 DPO) I have been eating a lot more than I usually would. Plus my nipples start hurting a week before im suppose to start but they aren't bothering me at all. I also woke up to go pee 3 hours after going to bed which is very unusual for me. I also ate a little over half of the big jars of dill pickles. I like pickles but Im not that big on them usually. My dad yesterday and today told me he thinks Im pregnant. I also have been really tired since Monday (8 DPO). But my back isn't bothering me and Im not cramping either which I normally do 3-4 days before I start. Sometimes Im ever 26 days sometimes Im 27 so Im suppose to start either Saturday or Sunday. I don't want to get my hopes and then be crushed. What do all of you think and what day should I test? I also had cramping and a small spot of blood on Saturday (6 DPO)

im 36 weeks and 2 days pregnant today im due on april 4 but last week at about 35w4d i was bleeding with chunks of blood in my urine so i went to the hospital the doctor checked me and saw that i was 4 cm dialated and was having contractions (not bad just mild back pain) every 2 to 3 minutes and so they were going to admit me into the hospital but the next day all bleeding stopped and contractions stopped so being that i am still not full term till next week and i wasnt in active labor they let me go home on bedrest. but if i am already 4cm dialated and 70% effaced this early do you think i will dialate faster than others ive also been having alot of white mucousy discharge not sure wat it is and lower back pain i think those are contractions and my baby is suuper low on my pelvis i can harly pick up my stomach LOL. so what do you guys think how long will it be till i go into labor?

hello --- so i had sex on Feb 20th saturday (unprotected sex) before i had sex i was getting cramps and after i had sex i was getting cramps also. on Sunday i got brown discharge and monday also. and monday afternoon i got my period but my period was pretty much light and short. i don`t if it was my period or not. i got my period three weeks late. i get my period the begin of each month. when i was had sex on was on the sugar pill but then i stop taking them on the monday when i got my period. im supposed to take my pill but i also forget soo i take them 3 or 4 more hours late. which is really bad. Now im not on the pill anymore because i hate the side effects and i havent had sex since feb 20th. IM STILL HAVING CRAMPS I DONT KNOW WHAT GOING ON. THE CRAMPS ARE MILD AND I HAVE BACKPAIN AND GET ALOT MORE DISCHARGE NOW. HELP!! is it from stop taking the pill or i`m pregnant

I am 37 weeks pregnant according to my LMP, but I am measuring 40 weeks. The baby dropped 4 days ago and is KILLING my hips. I lost my mucus plug 2 nights ago, and it wasnt bloody. I have been leaking discharge ever since. I am almost completely effaced and I am 3 cm dilated. The baby is in the head down anterior position, which according to my doctor is the best position for birth. My doctor is sending me for an ultrasound on Monday to see how big the baby is and to check fluid levels. I would REALLY like to have him naturally. Do you think he will continue to progress and come out on his own?

so i've been having a hard time with my hormones lately & thought i was pregnant around Christmas time because I was late and had so many symptoms. then the doctor thought i had cyst and ran all kinds of test...but it came up clear. my periods have been a lil wacky since Dec. i was spotting on and off 2 weeks before my due period, then it finally came but it wasn't really a whole one. in Jan I was on normal time again, but then in Feb I was on time but it lasted 2-3 days extra. then I had signs of ovulation in Feb that seemed to last a lot longer, i have the EWCM for 4 days at least, i usually only have 1 or 2. because i've been so off track, I thought my March period started this Monday, 8th. well today I started realizing maybe I should have been due March 1st according to my last periods. so i tested & it was positive. I tested middle of day & it came up very quickly. i've been off the pill for more than a year...we've not been trying but not preventing. I would be so excited if i were, i'm 28 & more than ready. Sorry this is so long... What do you ladies think? & how do I break this to my honey? cause i am SOOO nervous :) Thanks, I hope everyone else gets there wish come true too <3

Ive had my periods on the same date every month since they started until last december they suddenly changed. They were exactly 4 weeks long so they always came on the same date every month eg. jan 1st, Feb 1st, march 1st etc.! But lately since december they changed and are now exactly 2 weeks later than my due date. These are the dates Oct 1st, Nov 1st, December 7th, January 17th, March 1st. Its really confusing me because im trying to conceive since last November and im not sure when I ovulate and if my periods being so messed up are affect me not falling pregnant? Any ideas?

okay im 38 weeks pregnant the other night i was in the hospital with contractions 2 min apart for hours they werent sure if i was in labor or not because how strong & close together my contractions were the only doubt they had was that i wasnt dilating. my cervix was a cm in length & soft . they gave me pain meds told me im in early labor & sent me home until they get worse. The next day i lost globs of what i believe was my mucus plug it was fairly big chunks of it . brown slimy snot looking stuff. Then today i was losing bigger peices of it , i went for a walk & lost a piece about 4 inches in length , its clear & light brown in colour. Im not sure if there is suppose to be that much mucus with my plug , i never had close to that amount with my first & i lost his all at once in a glob. Can someone please help , is this normal ? my doctor diagnosed me with bronchitis and gave me a Z pack, and a month later my obgyn gave me another Z pack and i was on 4 other antibiotics as well because i had a urinary tract infection, which i guess is common in pregnancy. i am sick of getting antibiotics because im 32 weeks pregnant, and ive had this ongoing for 3 months. now when i cough phlem still is coming up, and im sweaty, and have a sharp pain in my chest when i breath or cough. what should i do, im sick of going to the doctors all they do is give me more antibiotics, that dont work!

I have been on pill since i was 17 (26 now) so i'm not sure of actual menstrual cycle length.....i have recently suffered a miscarriage (Jan), last period was 13th-18th Feb. When was on Pill cycle length was 25 days (21 for pill then 4 days after stopping for break my P started) Its been almost 4 weeks (27 days) since last P. I have done 2x PT but Neg.......? Forgot to mention i have a son 16months old and i have been off Pill since November. x

I was wondering if I would show sooner with this one, and if anyone has ever been though what I have. I'm still scared I'll miscarry. I don't have my first prenatal until I'll be 12 weeks, going on 13 weeks. I have medical care with the Navy and they don't care much about the fact of my previous miscarriage and reassuring me... Its not by my ovary, but its my right side and up higher. If I push pressure around the area that feels sore, it almost feel the urge to puke. Should I call my OB's office? We have been together for a year. Do not call me a slut and tell me not to spread my legs. I have been on birth control pill for 3 years and I guess I was that 1% who it failed for. I do not want a baby. I do not have time or money for a baby. I also do not have time or money to be pregnant-can't affford the doctor bills and I have a very stressful school courseload and a hard job that a pregnant woman could probable not do. Weird question here; I am 14.5 weeks pregnant with my 4th child and I have just recently noticed that when someone asks me how far along I am I will say 4 months. Now I have seen others say 3 1/2 months (technically the same thing because you are 1/2 way though your 4th month). Then at 20 weeks I will see people say either they are 5 months or 4 1/2 months along (still technically the same). What do you say? Have you noticed this too? I think I do it because I look forward to the end so much that being IN the month is better then being 1/2 in! Just something weird I have noticed!

I am 36.5 weeks pregnant and measuring 38.5 weeks. Big baby i know! My first was 9lbs 10.5 oz...4 days early. I am also 2-3 cm dilated. What i am asking is what are some tricks that worked for any of you to start labour? I know alot will say Baby will come when ready. But he is going to be huge and i just want some ideas to think about. I am not having many contractions which is kind of disappointing i thought i would be by now as i was with my first,,, i am tired and very stressed about the size of the baby.

Saturday i started haveing brown discharge and mild cramping then last night i started bleeding went to the hospital and they drew abunch of my blood and i found out i was 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant and they told me that the bleeding is fine its just the baby trying to nestle into my uturas and if it startes to get thicker come back well last night at like 4 in the morning with horrble sharp pains i started crying and my husband kept telling me it will be ok and if not well try again. I cant try again if im losing this feel something inside of you dying and you cant do anything to stop it.. its the worst nightmare come true. I can assure i am not fat. My boobs are still hurting and my stoamche is still growning has anyone ever experienced this and still had a healty baby? I WENT TO THE EMERGANCY ROOM LAST NIGHT.

Ok all week last week I had diarrhea real bad. I also felt nausea all week some days it would go away some days it was really bad others it was back and fourth all day. I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. My period was 4-6 days late (it usually starts between the 4th & 6th but didn't start until the 10th), it hasn't been as heavy and my cramps have been much worse than they usually are. I've also been craving foods I hate (donuts in-particular). I had three people ask/tell me I was pregnant. Could I be pregnant? If not, what's wrong with me?

I was on depo provera for 2 years and my last shot was August 2009 so its been about 7 months since my last shot... Well I had some cramps and heavy bleeding start February 14 and remained heavy for like 3 days and then dropped to not-so-heavy for the next week or so and then got heavy again for 3-4 days..... and for the past few days recently, has gotten much less, no red bleeding, only brown/dark brown/black colored.... is this STILL my "period?" because its not red blood? Im wanting to get pregnant and trying to time my ovulation....... I've had some kind of bleeding for a month now but its no longer red... is this still my period?

I just had a baby 4 weeks ago with a c-section. I just had unprotected sex last night since it was my birthday and my husband didn't know i could get pregnant during this first 6 weeks. We are reaaaallly worried because i am not ready to have another c-section yet, it is still hurting!!!! Well, not that much, as you might see, i had sex. My question is, since i don't know when is my next period, when can i find out after i had sex if i am pregnant or not. PLEASE HELP!!!!

The first day of my LMP was February 14, 2010 (i also take YAZ) Around February 20th, I started taking antibiotics for a UTI (sulfamethoxazole). According to the ovulation calendar, i was most fertile the 24-28th. I had unprotected sex those days using the "withdraw" method. I have read that sulfamethozazole will cause yaz to not work properly. The past couple days i've had cramps and just a little bit of brown spotting. Now, here I am about 5 days before i'm supposed to start my period with a high, closed, firm feeling cervix. This stuff confuses me. :) I guess i'm just looking for a little help on trying to figure it out. I've taken a pregnancy test but it was negative. If i am pregnant, it's probably too early to tell. My breasts haven't been sore but, today i've been getting dizzy and the past 2 mornings when i've woken up, i've felt nauseous. Let me know what you think! 22 hours ago - 1 week left to answer. I am 2 weeks late for my period and I am not on birth control and I have regular periods. My last lmp was Jan 23 and I am 15 days late. I have sore breasts and light cramping. I took 4 pregnancy test, from digital to first response to ept and they have been negative. My question is.....Has anyone took up to 6 weeks or beyond to get a positive result? I am not on b/c or obsessing over having a baby. I am 32 so please be adult with your answers. A little more background.No period since Jan 23 on the 21st of February I had very light ,(Pale pink) spot when I wiped and that was it for that day, then on the 23rd I had one more light brown spot when I wiped and that was it. No bleeding at all and I have regular periods and bleed very heavy! Any input?

I am 21 years old. My husband is also 21 and we have been married for 8 months. I am now 11 weeks pregnant and When I found out at 4 weeks I told my family. No one in my family had the hallmark reactions like on youtube. No jumping up and down, no "I'm going to be a grandparent", nothing. This IS the FIRST grandchild for EVERYONE. My husband has his college degree and I plan on finishing my school while being a stay-at-home. We make around 40,000 a year. So we are not bad off by any means. There was some crying from my step-mother, but that was more or less her being pissed off than happy, or as she puts it.."scared". I am so angry at my family. No one asks about the pregnancy and I have to bring it up for it to even be a topic for discussion. This is awefully frustrating.. help? so for details, neither of us are on drugs. We were smokers until we popped positive and we both hacked it cold turkey. FOr further detail. The only debt we have is one vehicle with has a low monthly payment and my student loans of 6,000 that also have a very low monthly payment. Our car is brand new and are credit is perfect. We have already started the baby a college fund and a retirement fund for ourselves. If this helps anyone's decisions on how to help.
