i have had a few miscarriages so im a little scared that it will happen again, i got my blood work done and my progesterone level was 40...is this normal for my stage of pregnancy

I was 8 months pregnant and at the end of my count down till my daughter was born. I went to my obgyn for me weekly visit when we found out there was no heart beat and my daughter had died. We had been trying to get pregnant for 3 years and after 5 miscarriages we thought we had finally made our goal. I can't get over this pain in my heart I have never been this depressed in my life. My daughter died a little over 3 weeks ago and I just am not emotionally ready for having sex yet. I wake up crying and I go to sleep crying. I just didn't need this pressure right now. I guess I will just have to give in if there is no other option. I want a baby so bad more then I can tell you, I just am so afraid of the pain I go threw with every loss I can't keep this up anymore I am so depressed I can't even breath.

When I was pregnant with my first child my water broke first at 5am and then labour started at 38 + 4 weeks. I still waited about 18 hours before giving birth. I am wondering if there are any other mothers out there who have 2 or more children who also went into labour prior to 40 weeks with their first child and did you go any earlier with your additional children? I have been having sparatic contractions for a month now and they wont regulate for more than 2 hours. i have been 4-5 cm for over a month now. my induction is set for tuesday. my issue is, I have had diarrhea for 3 days now, and i started puking up green kinda mucusy stuff along with the normal yellow bile. I feel weak and awkward, but i have no fever. The babies movements have slowed in the past week and a half, but he still moves. What is this green stuff? it is like a limish green. kinda like the color of an avacodos inside flesh. I dont have a gullbladder anymore and that is the only thing i can think of that would cause the green vomit. Should i call the doctor and let him know or is this normal? how can it be bile from my gullbladder if it was taken out in '04'

I'm 24 years old, so it's not like I'm a teenager. I just found out yesterday that I'm 7 weeks pregnant. The first person I called was my mom. I haven't told my boyfriend, of 1.5 years, Ryan, yet. She started yelling, "Go to Planned Parenthood RIGHT NOW and get it aborted! DO NOT TELL RYAN! IT IS NONE OF HIS BUSINESS!" She then told me that SHE takes care of me, even though I haven't lived with her in 6 years and she has never given me a red cent! Then she told me how SCARED she was and how much DRAMA I cause, even though I'm the one pregnant, barfing every three hours and scared to death to tell my boyfriend, who is the baby's FATHER. I am 36 weeks pregnant now we know 40 weeks is full term so is it normal to start braxton hicks at week 33, I only know I am having them because when I get hooked up to a machine, the nurse tells me I am having them.. Did any of you go through these and not even know about them? also my doctor is taking my son 3 weeks early because I am high risk and can not take the risk to have natural delivery... is he fully developed like lungs and things at 37 weeks

Anything work for you on inducing labor other than going to the hospital to get induced?

I dont think it is thrush as it seems different.This pain comes and goes but can be really strong at times.its not permently there like thrush. Please help

I have 2 bearded dragons, one male and the other is a female. I noticed the last couple days the female has been acting a little weird, they are both 7 months old, in a 40 gallon tank i am using a 75 watt light bulb for heat and i have a rep pro uvb 6.0 bulb. I know that I should get a reptisun 10.0 i will get one this weekend. i am using reptocal calcium supplement with D3 i give them that 3 times a week and I have reptivite vitamin supplement that I give them 2 times a week.... My female has been turning really dark the male is a nice tan color. well today I found her hiding in a rock shelter away from the basking light she is still eating ok but she is usually the first to come running when i start getting there crickets ready today she just sat there. i do give them 20 to 30 mins of natural sunlight a day to make up for the uvb bulb. Im really worried could she be pregnant and be hiding. one more detail I picked her up yesterday and she opened her mouth and she keeps tilting her head to look at me. thanks for any help that you guys might have for me. my tank is warm as far as the basking light spot on there perch its at 112 degrees on the hot side 90 on the cold side in the day time its 80- 85 so its not the temp maybe my so called female is a male I will take them into the local reptile shop and find out for sure.

My period is almost a week and a half late for pretty much the first time ever... My normal cycle is about every 30 days, but it's almost at day 40. I'm 16 and have never had sex or done anything that would involve sperm. I'm paranoid that I got pregnant by some freak accident by sitting on a public toilet seat or something like that. Ha ha ha. I found out that I was pregnant in January. Well there were a lot of mixed emotions as you can probably imagine. My doc said that it was a 1 in a million chance of this happening especially since it was so long ago that I had my tubal. That this was a miracle pregnancy and baby. Then, just as I was getting used to the idea of being pregnant, I miscarried @ 9w gestation. I was devasted!!!!!!! Now I am actively trying again, but I wonder if it can happen again. My doctor wants to remove my tubes cause she thinks that my chances are so high that I will have a tubal pregnancy, but this one wasn't. Can lightening strike twice in the same place? If anyone has or knows of anyone who has experienced this, please comment. I don't have a lot of time to spare. I am 40 and I really want this. Thanks.

Ok so I am 14 and my mom is 40. She just recently got another boyfriend. Well not recently but he has been living here for about 2 weeks but she claims he doesn't live here. So lately my mom has been very tired and she told me that her stomach hurts. The problem is that she would never tell me if she was pregnant and she wouldn't even keep it if she is. She had an abortion about 3 years ago and tried to hide it from me but i found out on my own. Now i look through the computer history and it says a lot of stuff about pregnancy and i want to ask her but she would yell at me and tell me to stop being "grown". She knows i hate abortions so she would never tell me if she had to get one. What is a good way i can sit down and talk to her about this and not get in trouble. i know its not my business bet it really bothers me and i tell her all the time i want to be a big sister and she says oh well. please honest answers only im really sad and worried. I already asked this once but i want more answers. thanks everyone for your answers. I finally built up the strength to ask her about it. it was hardand i couldnt do it without crying but i managed to do it.thanks again

Im 36 Weeks Pregnant & I Have Pre-eclampsia. I Have missed 2 doctors appts. & I cant make it to the anymore. The hospital that my doctor is at wants me to come in every week, but I have no car, no form of transportation what so ever. I used to take the bus, but it was a 40 minute walk to the bus stop, which I cant do anymore since walking brings on my contractions & they become very painful. I was already hospitalized for pre-term labor 2 times from walking too much or being on my feet & they told me to stay in bed now. What can I do? I have tried talking to the hospital about it, but they dont have any transportation for me. Tried asking friends but they want gas money, which I dont have & my family doesnt have a car.

I was wondering if my girlfriend was going into labor or if she was just having gas. She has been up ever since 4 am and its now 7 am. About every 10 to 20 min. she gets these pains she describes as feeling like gas pains. all she wants to do is lay down and rock back and forth. Is she going into labor? Should we go to the E.R? Then after an year in got pregnant and their is some tradition in our family on the seventh month of pregnancy(the women's family have to come to the Menes family then gve the preggey lady a gift(gold) and sweets which should be 7 items in number as concerned to the month of pregnancy)and u know what she demanded that the gold should be not less than 10 Sovereign.And i told my parents about this and they agreed,and before tow or three days of the function she (MIL) was talking to me in her bedroom in between the talks she told me that "YOUR PARENTS HAVE NOT DONE THE VERY FIRST TRADITION OF GIVING GIFTS AS HOME APPLIANCES SO THIS IS A CHANCE TO GIVE,SO TELL YOUR PARENTS TO BUY A CUPBOARD AND A INVERTER TOO WITH THE GOLD ORNAMENTS"i was really depressed of hearing this she only have to talk about money and gold,i felt sad about this and i told my mother about the talk and she told me tell her (MIL)to call her(my mother)to tell the items she want for her home.and without any shame she called my parents and told my mother that there is a pending tradition so u have to do that,then my mother lose the grip of her tongue and had a big argument with my(MIL)she was so ashamed of that incident and told me that tell you parents that don't bring that home Appliances...i told my hus about this and he told that my mother would not have talk like that,yes i agree with him but she(MIL) is beyond my control..I CAN'T STAND HER ANYMORE..and the day of function came all the demands of my IN LAWS WERE SATISFIED TOO(11 AND HALF SOVEREIGN OF GOLD,SEVEN ITEMS OF SWEETS(SERVES 40),CUPBOARD,INVERTER)and the function went all fine and that eve in went to my parents place..(my home) After two months...9 months they(my in laws)wants to come to see me according to their tradition they have to bring sweets and all when they visit me and it should be in 9 items too they bought only 5 or 4 which is not enough to share within the family...(its a custom)as of the seventh month.My parents kept quiet on this matter after they have left we went to a bakery and bought items 9 in number and share it to all family members...as if they(in laws)bought for me.... Well I have Pcos. A fertility disorder causing me not to release and egg every month or not having enough hormone to have a period. Well I take metformin. help release of an egg. Well anyways I had sex with my boyfriend 4 days ago. Been going out for a while and was first time in a abt 4 monthes. Well I was either ovulating or a day or two after ovulation. We were unprotected. I want a child so yea it was suppose to be unprotected. Im still young enough to where maybe my body hasnt gone infertile. So heres the sotry. Happening 4 days ago I have started today having a mild headache. Also not sure when my period is due. Today I had mild cramping not as bad as monthly cramps. I had like one spot I mean as small as a poppy seed. So Im thinking maybe implantation bleeding. Also I love bannans lately everytime I eat one I get sick to my stomach. Not throwing up but still. I know implantation bleedin doesnt occur until 6-12 days after fertilization. IS there any chance I could be pregnant. Having signs already? Heard you could have signs in 3rd week of pregnancy which is week of fertilization because 40 week pregnancy so Id be 3 weeks now. So could this be anything? Could I be pregnant? I'm 40 weeks pregnant today, and I woke up with fairly strong 5-minute contractions this morning at 2am. Besides the contractions, I also woke up with a very swollen left hand and fingers, which remained that way until I fell back asleep at about 6am. The contractions eventually subdued and went (hence me falling asleep again by 6 - which has happened once before) - but I'm a little concerned about the left hand. During this pregnancy, I havent had any previous swelling in my hands (only a little in my feet and ankles). My hand and fingers were like a balloon this morning, and I couldnt get very much feeling from it (except a slight pins/needles effect). I didnt have pre-eclampsia with my last pregnancy, nor have I been diagnosed with it this time around. Why did I have a swollen hand for 4 hours?? Any suggestions?? P.S. I did inform my midwife of this this morning, she said it was odd, and asked if she should drop by. As I said the swelling had already gone by the time Id spoken to her, I told her it wasnt necessary as Im seeing her again tmrw for a proper check-up anyway. But isnt it unusual for just the LEFT hand to puff up as much as it did? Without this happening at any point during the past 40 weeks?

I recently just found out that I'm expecting. I work for a doctor cleaning her office and house everyday as a full time job. I work 40 hrs and sometimes less than that. Here recently I've been sick..so some days I tend to slack on a few things on the list to do..But I always go back to finish them when I feel better later in the day. The other day she came to me..pulled me to the side and tole me that she didn't want me cleaning her office anymore..and that it was my decision to still clean her house. She said I would only get par-time hours and all this other stuff. I feel like she's trying to get rid of me for some reason. When she comes in the the office in the mo rings she speaks to everyone but me..the only time she really talks to me is when she finds something wrong. I feel like there is something wrong and it really bothers me..cause now that I'm pregnant there really isn't any more jobs that I can do..But not sure if I'm going to be able to make it par time just working at this one. She has been though like 4 housekeepers in the past year. I've managed to stay 3 months and i like my job..Just don't like whats going on now. What should I do?? Just quit and walk out..Or wait til something better comes along.?? by the way..My doctor now knows about this..He doesn't like it..Told me it isn't healthy to be stressed about all this..What to do??

Ia have taken Celexa 40 mg a day for a year. I have been without my medicine for about a week almost and have been having some flu like symptoms. Trying to figure out if it is from being off my medicine or from something else. I am getting it refilled tomorrow but have been very tired and emotional, headaches, stomach cramping and some diarrhea, constant nausea, light headed, sweating a lot and more. Is this from not being on my med? I am trying to get pregnant so I am not sure really why I feel so not myself.

I keep having this dream that I'm pregnant and I'm so happy! But I'm very big probly 40 weeks? I'm 14 years old, a virgin, I do not have a boyfriend and I do masturbate about twice a day. i was in the ER on thursday because i got really dizzy and thought i was going to faint and then i had a huge headache with cold sweats, i know its not because i was hungry or dehydrated because i just finished eating lunch and had been drinking water all morning... when i got to the ER they checked my urine and it had protein in it, also i had a UTI... the ER nurse lady told my doctor this and he said to just go home and drink cranberry juice to flush out the UTI... but they didn't tell me anything about the headaches and urine which i now found out, thanks to google, is a sign of preeclampsia... why do you think the doctor didn't acknowledge that? i am going to be 40 weeks pregnant on tuesday and i don't want anything bad to happen to the baby this late in the game... they did an ultrasound in the ER and told me the baby was perfect but what about me :-( they took my blood pressure twice and it was normal, the only thing they were concerned about was my pulse was a little high but that went back down after about an hour

I'm 40 weeks pregnant and every night for the past 5 nights I have had menstural type cramps when I go to bed. It only happens at night and lasts all night but when I get up in the morning I feel fine. But during the day EVERY day for the past month I have had sharp pains in my upper leg I think my boyfriend said it was my tendons, the bone type thing between your leg and crotch, as I walk or stand I will get sharp pains that make me hit the ground if I don't grab onto something quick enough. I'm also having alot of vaginal pressure. Is this pre labor or is it something to worry about? I lost my mucous plug 2 months ago when I fell on ice and have been dialated to a 2 ever since...

I don't have fancy guppies and that's just fine. I bought a very pregnant feeder guppy a while ago she gave birth to 40 baby guppies, all but 10 died. They are currently still living in the floating birthing chamber at 1 week of age, I am feeding them crushed up goldfish flakes. Is this alright, I gave them crushed up betta flakes today, I want to give them blood-worms? Do you think that is alright? Can you give me some advice on baby guppies? They are in a 10 gallon tank with a tadpole and a betta but they are separated. Thank you so much. :)

i am currently 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant and since yesterday i have developed the worst thrush ever i am prone to getting thrush when i take antibiotics but this time there is no disxharge just all the other sympotoms and its driving me crazy. i went to the chemist and they told mew i had to c a doctor. as it is sunday i cant get a doctor can any1 help?? i am also due to get a membrane sweep tommorow and now dont know if i will recieve 1 now:( ????

my name is Jason King this girl name alicia keeps on bugging me and getting on my nerves at times. I am 18 I haven't told my mom about this or my 5 year old brother matter fact he's clueless he's just a kid. what should i do i am about to graduate from high school in 2 to 3 months and I don't know how to tell my mom she's about to become 40 years old and being a grandma what about my brother whats he gonna be to my child. and the truth of the matter is she keeps on bragging talking about a son. at this point i don't wanna a son or any kids. just having sex with the hottest girl in my classroom and she's pregnant makes everything different. now i have to deal with her the rest of my life and she dumb in the head when it comes to books and all and a little bit of promiscuous when it comes to the other boys what should i do. i am in bind and i need someones help. anyone comment.

Im 40 weeks today and for the last week about once or twice a day i get a quick sharp stabbing pain right down where the baby's head is. It's just really quick and painful. Has anyone else ever had this feeling and what is it?

i have been keep on watching ppl who are around 37 to 40 weeks use to ask questions about dilations like for eg dilated to a 2 1/2 n.what does this mean,plz answer.

ive tried everything. i was at the hospital last night bc when i woke up from a nap and went to the rest room i was bleeding. The RN said that it was caused by the dr checking me that Morning. I was there for 4 hours and i was having contractions every 5 min and some where stronger than others. What can help put me into labor i have done the Castor oil blowing up of balloons hot shower hot bath!!! i am just so uncomfortable and ready to have my son in my arms

I'm 37 weeks pregnant. i have gained 40 pounds since beginning. the bone's in my legs feel like they're bending or going to break... i don't know whats wrong. have any of you guys had this happen to them?

For the past 3 weeks or possibly a little more i've had a thick yellow coloured discharge, i have to wear a pad other wise i would be changing my undies 3-4 times a day... it's also quite smelly. im not sure if it's my mucus plug? Can it keep coming out for that long?

I am 20 weeks and have been so hot wit this weather change. It started getting warmer about a week or so ago it went from about the 20's/30's to the 40's/50's and it feels like I'm so hot all the time. I constantly feel like i need something to drink and even had to put a fan in my window. I've heard that your body temp rises while pregnant. Is this how I'm going to be during the summer time?

I'm in my 30's and stable, he is in his 40's and also stable. His excuse for walking out was that he already has 2 teenage daughters from a previous marriage and is "too old" to have more children anyway. He hasn't come around since I told him I was pregnant 2 weeks ago and the few times he called, it was to pressure me to have an abortion but now that he knows I'm keeping the baby he has walked out completely. Has anyone been in this situation before? How did you deal with it?

My daughter was born on Dec. 13 of 09, I still look like I am about 5 months pregnant. Anyone out there in my shoes and if so what kind of diet and exercise do you reccomend. I would love to fit back into my pre-pregnancy jeans, bought new ones and only had to get one size bigger but still, I feel like I am at a stand still whith the weight loss thing, I have lost 55 pounds since she was born (yes I did get quite big duing the pregnancy) lol, and would like to loose another 40, any thoughts....suggestions! I've been married now for 6yrs, since i was 20. 6yrs later i have 3-kids (5,3,1). My wife drives me insane. She is a class A 'female dog'. B4 my wife i had sex with 1 other person. i work 40-50 hrs per week and i come home to house that's a mess, i get third degree questions as soon as i get in the door. I just want to be free. Live a life i was going to b4 i got my wife pregnant at age 20. The kids i love to death, but i just take their crying, whining, kicking, screaming, everything anymore. The wife and I have money issues, were going thru bankruptcy while still trying to keep the house and car. My wife dont work. The only place we have to go is getting worse. There is no light at the end of this tunnel. I dont know what to do. I have thought of everything, running away, suicide, i have thought of ways to do it, but nothing more than a split second thought. everyday i find myself at home again and the day starts over, sometimes worse or even, but never better. i am 40 weeks and 6 days pregnant and i have an induction date for in 3 days but i had an internal today and had a stretch and sweep,is there anything i can do to get things going naturally? would the sweep have done anything i had 2 already but they were at 38 and 39 weeks but maybe now i am over due it will actually do something thank you :) thanks guys and im also 2cm dialated and my cervix is soft and open and i lost my plug about 3 weeks ago, im sure it will happen very soon though :)

I am 36 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I had my first at 40 weeks 5 days and my second at 37 weeks 6 days. I can't remember how I felt with either of my babies at this point but I would just like YOUR experiences. I have been nesting BAD (lol) for the last 2 days and I feel like I am getting sick. I just don't feel right...almost fuzzy and blah (like I drank WAAAAAAAAAAAY to much caffiene or something) my tummy also hurts to touch in some spots. I really just think I am stretched to my limit and my skin is sore. (If that makes sense) I have no real desire to eat either....not in the last couple of days (I DO EAT THOUGH) I just am NOT hungry. But I think it's the "fuzzy" not quite right feeling that is bothering me the most. I don't like how I feel at all. How was everyone feeling about this time or before they went into labor? Did you experience this?THANKS! :) I AM DUE APRIL 9th TOO!!!! :) (so technically I am 35 weeks 6 days...lol) :) I swear I have organized this entire house...sterilized everything in site, washed every piece of laundry in the house, put together the bassinett....ETC!!! I can't stop! LOL!

My boyfriend and I have a 4 month old son and he has been in jail since I was 5 months pregnant. I think they are so mean for not calling or checking on the baby regularly. My boyfriends dad used to call all the time but he is out of the country until next month and I only talked to him once since he has been gone. When my sons dad comes home from jail I know he will be bringing the baby around them but I feel like they aren't around now so why should I let him go around later? I really don't know what to think. I am more mad at my boyfriends mom because she is the grandma even if the aunts can't come around or call to ask me to bring him around the grandma should... the last time she seen him was new years day and we only live 30 mins apart. I feel bad for my son that his dads family is funny actin (my family is over several times a week, requesting him @ their homes, calling to check on him etc) one of his sisters called last week and we were supposed to do something but she never followed up.... his mom called earlier this week and was supposed to cook for me and have us come over but she never followed up. should I tell him this is how his family is acting?? they have always acted like they like me, never gave me a reason to think otherwise, and they know I'm not the reason he is in jail... I'm his only communication to his family, they know I am 1 of the only people keeping his head above water in jail... I also know his mom got a new client that is taking a lot out of her and she used to call often so maybe I should reach out to them a little more and see what happens... maybe I should tell them how I fell instead of telling my boyfriend. I'm sick of people asking if i had the baby yet. and sick of just sitting around. How can i tell if I'm really going into labor? My contractions don't hurt my stomach just goes hard but no pain. Are those my labor contractions?
