I always thought that you shouldnt buy baby stuff until you hit 3 months pregnant (12 weeks) because of the high miscarriage rate until then. My mom is telling me not to buy anything until after 5 months. I am very anxious to buy baby stuff once i hit the 3 month mark (3 weeks to go) but also want to make my mom happy and wait till i hit the 5 month mark (not sure if i could wait that long)..asked this b4 and only responses i got were to buy the stuff and not let her know for 2 more months but that isnt possible since i live in her home. im 24 1/2 btw

I was engaged and got pregnant after being on the pill for 7 months (taken regularly). My fiance panicked and called off the wedding and disappeared. Around 5 months of me being pregnant he decided he wanted to be part of his son's life. Around 7 months he decided he wanted a DNA test, I didn't have a problem with this at all (I was actually a little offended). Now I'm 9 months (due the 25th) and have heard from him maybe 3 times in a week and haven't actually seen him in almost 2 weeks. Not sure what I should do about him. I don't want to waste money on a DNA test if he's not going to be around either way but if he's going to be around I don't mind doing one so that he won't second guess his son for the rest of his life. I think the main reason he said he wanted to be involved was because his family gave him a hard time about the way he was acting and so my guess is he just wanted them to stop harassing him about it. I'm just very confused about how I should handle the situation - should I just push him away so he doesn't feel obligated to be around just because of his family or keep trying? No, I'm not pregnant! I have had this sick feeling for months. Some days are OK and then all of a sudden I feel like I have the flu and it lasts for several days, sometimes a week. I've had tests done by my doctor and nothing abnormal showed up. I eat a healthy balanced diet, take vitamin supplements and force myself to get regular exercise 4-5 times a week, even when I feel like puking. What could it be?

I have always had irregular cycles. I would have it for 2 or 3 months on time then it would disappear for months. My periods are always heavy and filled with clots. In August of 2008 I be gain a period that lasted for five months ending in Dec.2008(dx PCOS). I was put on the pill to stop the bleeding. I was on BC pills for about 7months I stopped them in June 09 at the end of my last pack. Before BCP I never had regular cycles .I had 5 normal periods 30-35 day cycles. My last AF was Nov. 24.2009 I had sex Dec.7th (no sex since then, the sex was protected(condom) and he did not ejaculate in me). I had 3 negative urine test. One ept digital and two urine test done by Planned Parenthood. But have not received my period due to the fact that I have irregular cycles I decided to have a blood test done. I don't have insurance so I just went to Lab corp. and had the test done... from what I understand I am not pregnant these are the results. 1 <miu/ml the results said that a non pregnant female can have 0-5 hcg ml in the blood stream. *This test was taking Feb. 24 about 14 weeks after last sexual activity (Dec.7. ) Can PCOS or anything else effect the results of a blood test at that point? *Should I be concerned about this I had a heavy petting( no ejecualtion that either of us could tell) incident in July27 2009(day 7 of a 30 day cycle) had four AFs after that

for the past few days i've been feeling these sharp shooting pains in my vagina. it gets so painful i can't talk or breathe. it only lasts for a couple seconds but it happens about 4-5 times within an hour. i don't think they are contractions because i feel no tightening and does not feel like period cramps. this is my first child and i don't want to call the doctor because it does go away and i don't feel the need to call, although it is painful. i am 38 weeks pregnant and my baby is head down ready to go any day now. any advice or personal experience with this? thank you in advance.

Here's a description of what I feel like daily... - excruciating pain in lower region (like pulling apart barbies doll legs) - feeling like my pelvic & pubic bone is cracked down the middle - hearing popping noises when I shift position or stand - cannot walk for longer than 5 minutes without alot of pain - lifting my legs in a lying position is nearly impossible - walking with tiny baby steps trying to get to bathroom in time! - deep pain in my seat and deep vaginal area (sorry TMI) lol. I started off overweight by about 15 lbs, so 173 lbs (I'm 5'8"). Right now I'm tipping the scales at 177-179 depending on when I weigh myself, and I'm 4 months along. I keep reading that I should gain between 15-25 lbs, but nobody is telling me if this should be a consistent 1/2 lb every week or if there is some specified time when I should be gaining more or less. I'd like to weigh no more than 190 when I have my baby so that I can shed the pounds more easily. How much had you gained by 4 months? Is this too much or too little?

so I had an ab in the middle of december 09. (please do not crit. me, it was not my choice, I totally regret it and will never do it again.) I had unprotected sex 5 days after it, and I started bc on the same day (yes I already know I was suppost to wait to have intercourse, and that bc is not effective right away) I continued to have unprotected sex a lot and he did finish in me. I took the day after pill 3 times late decemeber and I think maybe one in early January. The clinic doctor told me I was suppost to get my period around January 10th 2010. I stopped taking bc a few days- a week before I was suppost to get my period... because i heared you can easily get pregnant after an ab. and I want to be safe because I would keep it. I was getting cramps before January 10th, and than I starting having a lot of discharge. I think it started with white discharge, than in late january or earlier febuary it changed to light brown, than dark brown. Towards the end of Febuary I started bleeding, I noticed I was a little bit after intercourse, than within a few hours I started bleeding (it wasn't spotting really, it looked like a normal period).. and I continued to bleed for the rest of the night, the next day, than it stopped by the next morning. I continued to have some cramps, and the discharge. I also have been having unprotected sex since after the ab in decemeber. The discharge turned to a lightish yellow color a few weeks ago, and its still continueing. I have been feeling a little sick lately, but not quite like throwing up yet (I threw up in my last pregnancy at about 10 weeks) I have been going to the bathroom a bit more I think, and I have been a little bit more tired, and I have been more emotional and stressed out lately. I'm almost 20. My last period was Feb. 5. At the end of Feb, beginning of March I was having stomach problems. I started getting really hungry and therefore started eating more. In the past 3-4 weeks I have gained 10 lbs. I am ALWAYS tired. My average sleep is 6-8 hours per night. Then I take 3-4 hour naps during the day. I usually fall asleep in my college classes. I pee all the time this has happened the past few weeks (2-3 weeks). I wont even drink anything and have to pee. I took pregnancy test 3 days ago and it said negative so I know I'm not pregnant (even though everyone including my parents have asked me that) so what on earth could it be?

Well, on Feb. 17th I started my period, and a week later I took the Plan B pill because the condom broke. About 4-5 days later I started bleeding again, It was my period again. It's the 17th of march now and I've sex maybe 7 times in between . I used protection and checked the condom for holes, and there were none. Tank goodness. Anyway, I took 2 pregnancy tests today to see If I was pregnant and they both came out negative. I haven't gotten my period yet, and I think it's going to be off because of the Plan B pills. My Last Period Started the Day before Valentines and Ended 5 Days later. My husband, I've tired everything to get him to understand how I feel right now. Today I was cleaning the house and he just sat there and watched me, or slept! Today I said what are you gonna do when the baby gets here(I already have a 5 year old from my previous marriage) and all he said was "Well she's not here yet." I was like are you serious, show me now you can be a man instead of waiting till she gets here. He's getting ready to turn 32 in May, and he is so childish and immature. He never use to be like this, and it's just getting worse. I don't know what to do anymore...any advice? This is so stressful for me and the pregnancy and all he says you use pregnancy as an excuse WTH!!! I have sciatica but I still manage to get stuff done. I'm just at my end with this and so lost. I love him but don't care anymore. The only thing keeping me with him is me being pregnant with his child. I don't even know if any one can give me advice, but if you can that would be great, or some reassurance. I dunno, I'm just so BLAH! I'm not even sure I can rely and count on him after I have the c section and to help me with the baby. I do everything myself now, why do I need him? And I don't want to feel this way. Sad thing is my 5 year old helps me out and takes care of me more than he does. She helps me clean, she rubs my swollen feet, my back, my belly, asks if I need water, and checks on me to make sure I'm okay every 15 minutes. So sad a 5 year old is acting more grown up than a 32 yr old man. Ummm...no I've tried letting the house go and it's just horrible now, so I have to finally clean it b/c he won't do anything at all. I asked him days ago to change the cat litter for me and it didn't get done, my 5 yr old done it today cause I can't touch it. I asked him days ago to do the dishes I had to do it today, and asked him days ago to take out the trash, I took out 5 bags today. I only ask him to clean cat litter, take out trash, and dishes THAT"S IT!!! And he doesn't do it! And just sits there while I do it b/c I'm sorry I'm not letting my house get nasty for sake of him. Let me give you some added info on my husband since many seem to think that I'm OCD...ha. My husband works 4 days a week, the other 3 he plays games, or sleeps. I work 5 days a week, take care of a 5 yr old, a house, food, bills, yard work etc etc, b/c if I let it go, he just lets it go and it never gets done unless I do it. Everyday he also tells me to f off or f you or your stupid/dumb/bitch/retard. Yells at my 5 year old all the time who is actually a really good kid. When she's here with him when I'm at work he makes her stay in her room and not come out. So now what do you think of my husband. I didn't really want to share all of that b/c it's very bad, but there ya go. Oh yeah and he has his past screw buddies texting there tits to him!!! So am I really OCD? I think not!! I'm really putting up with a lot of stuff and would really like some support here, not sayng it's my fault. Thanks to the helpful answers.

I was 8 months pregnant and at the end of my count down till my daughter was born. I went to my obgyn for me weekly visit when we found out there was no heart beat and my daughter had died. We had been trying to get pregnant for 3 years and after 5 miscarriages we thought we had finally made our goal. I can't get over this pain in my heart I have never been this depressed in my life. I am so heart broken. I have never had a problem getting pregnant, just staying pregnant has been a challenge. I am scared to death to become pregnant again so soon after a tragic loss, I asked my boyfriend to buy rubbers for our fist night together since her death, and he freaked out on me, screaming and yelling about how he hates the feel of them, it kinda shocked me that it upset him so much. He will not use any kind of birth control unless I take the pill. I have high blood pressure and my obgyn will not order them for me. My boy friend feels it might be best if we just break up instead. I thought we where in love so that also came as a shock to me. He wants kids and I don't seem to be doing to hot in that field. I sure did try like hell tho. He is really mad with me about using protection but the doctor said we have to wait 6 weeks until we have sex. My daughter died a little over 3 weeks ago and I just am not emotionally ready for having sex yet. I wake up crying and I go to sleep crying. I just didn't need this pressure right now. I guess I will just have to give in if there is no other option. I want a baby so bad more then I can tell you, I just am so afraid of the pain I go threw with every loss I can't keep this up anymore I am so depressed I can't even breath.

Ive suffered from bulimia and anoxeria for 9 years. Im currently in recovery. Im properly sick about 5 times a week (before i was sick 18x plus a week so have improved a lot) but im still getting help for my ED. Ive had a baby before. He is now 2 years old and is the world to me. I couldn't ever be with out him. When i found out i was pregnant with him i stopped my ED completely. In December 09 i found out i was pregnant, and thou my ED improved i was still sick about 6 times but miscarried ( don't know if it was my ED or not but i blame myself a lot) After the miscarriage i had a d&c and after i stopped bleeding me and my partner started trying again. I heard that after a miscarriage you can get pregnant quite quickly. But im yet to get pregnant again. Im quite scared as i really want another baby. I know that ive had my son but scared that my ED may have ruined any chance i have of conceving again. Has anyone else managed to get pregnant with bulimia? That sound silly i know but as i said im currently getting a lot of help for my ED. I just want another baby so badly. Its been a year that me and my partner have been trying. Im only 21. Everyone has said that because ive had my son (hes 2) that i shouldnt have a problem conceving again. If i find out im pregnant again. i will do anything not to miscarriage again and am no way going to be carring on with my builima i will give up completly. I would really appreciateate any advice. I am 7 weeks pregnant with #2 and was prescribed Zofran today. I am constantly nauseated and vomiting from morning 'til night (at least 5 times a day). I took my first Zofran pill today and I am SO pleased to say that it really took the edge off. I still feel nauseated, but not as bad, and I haven't thrown up. The doctor told me I can take two a day, so I was thinking one right when I wake up and one around 4pm or so, a bit before dinner (so I can keep that down). I am wondering... How well did Zofran work for you? I haven't really eaten anything too "risky" yet because I'm nervous to start puking again. And, how often did you take it and what times? And, for fun, how old are your precious little angels today and what are they up to?! Thank you in advance!

Okay so my last period was on January 6th and I found out I was pregnant on February 11th. I thought everything was fine. Well on March 4th I had an ultrasound and I thought I was suppose to be about 7 weeks pregnant, but the u/s tech told me that I measured 5 weeks/1 day and the heartbeat was 91 bpm which was slow but they thought it was good because it probably just started beating hours or a day before. I was kinda bummed out. But I still thought everything was normal, I thought I just got pushed back a couple weeks but I could handle it. At first my due date was October 12th but now it got pushed back to November 3rd. I had an ultrasound today (2 weeks since my last ultrasound) so I thought I would be measuring just 7 weeks but my baby measured just 6 weeks and the heartrate dropped to 74 bpm. My doctor said my odds are not looking good and I would probably miscarry soon. Please tell me some stories. Is there any hope for my baby? If my baby does go to term, is he gonna have abormalites? I'm scared and need help.

was on the pill and missed a few days and didn't think anything of it but me and my boyfriend were having unprotected sex before/during/after that starting like a month ago and ive been feeling sick in the stomach for the past 2 weeks i was supposed too get my period last week and i kind of did but it was like really weird light and kinda short, then yesterday i just had one like some blood like just when i wiped after i went pee..and after that was nothing but that little bit was like kinda pinkish i took a test last week and it said negative but i don't know if it was too early too tell or not, plus after i took the test and after my weird little period we had unprotected sex again and i haven't started taking my pills again yet cause im not supposed too till my next period and some one told me after you have unprotected sex and are pregnant you can get like spotting like 5-6 days later or so and we did last saturday.. and you guys help me get a better idea of if i am or not!

On Saturday, I will be five weeks and I've been bleeding for the last three days, and I thought I got my period but it didn't feel right. It looked different and i didnt get the harsh period cramps I usually get. I googled it and found out that a lot of women bleed at 4-5 weeks. If you have experienced this, how long was it and how heavy? Thank you so much!

I'm only 5 weeks, but I'm thinking to hold off until I see my baby's heart beats on the monitor first. Or should I tell them the news right now?

hi, this is my first baby, i just found out last Saturday like five days ago and it was are first month trying and i am estimating im between 4-5 weeks but i don't know for sure, we are supposed to see our ob-gyn next tues which is less than a week away but this afternoon when i went to the bathroom there was definitely blood when i wiped and then i wiped again and there was more, no clots just blood, and not like supper heavy or anything but like the start of a period or something but i am soo scared i am new at this but i really don't want to lose my baby, so what should i do..should i call my doctor who is almost an hour away and try to get in sooner?? how worried should i be and what should i do..and what are the odds that this is a misscarriage?? any advice would be great or let me know if anyone had or has similar experience and how it turned out..thank u so much

My bunny growls/ coos or soft screams when ever my male bunny goes next to her side. Now she is scavenging for food like she is starving. ( I feed her every day ) Then i took a stick and slid it under her 'swollen' tummy and slightly pressed up, she kicked and ran. She just lays there on the floor. I watched her breathing last night and she was breathing slowly and then fast for about 5 seconds. I don't know if it was her breathing(witch I truly bought) but, I thought i saw her tummy bodge in and out for a little... Please give me any advice to rabbit pregnancy! Thanks ! so my last 2 periods have been pretty short for me (4-5 days) and pretty light. My period ended about 4-5 days ago and suddenly ive started getting seriously bad period like pains? I cant be pregnant because ive done 1000s of tests.. last one being if i was 6 weeks pregnant at the time.. and it came up negative..i also have had hardly any symptoms.. except a random bloated tummy and now these pains? If i was pregnant i would be 11 weeks tomorrow.. but all tests show im not so its fine Just wondering.. is this period like pain coming from ovulation ? or should i be worried? thanks guys :)

Im 29 years old and I really dont know what is going on with me, my last 2 periods only lasted 3 days which is unusual for me they usually last about 5 -6 days , my last preiod was on the 25th of febuary it was 3-4 days early and lasted 3 days , the past 2 weeks I have had stomach cramps similar to period pains on and off ,some dizziness and slight nausea , Ive been irratible , weepy, very gassy burping alot, getting tired easily after a walk or housework, feeling bloated ,sensitive nipples, and my gums bleed when I brush my teeth now, I have done a preganacy test a few days ago but it came back negative , do you think im testing too early??? what is going on?

Here is my situation my fiance was in the army and away alot when his ex got pregnant he had come home on leave.... supposedly So they are now divorced because the whole time he was in Iraq she was cheating... and his mother caught her. The guy she was cheating with is still her boyfriend and is horrible he takes her money and abuses her and my fiance is the total opposite super nice do anything for anyone very moral and takes care of his family very well.... We do not know for sure if his 5 year old son is his. He looks nothing like him and nothing like my fiance when he was his age. people around town say that she freaked out and when he came home on leave did the deed as much as she could with him to make it look like she got pregnant then... well the baby came 5 weeks early so theres not telling by the dates... she is still with this guy and people say that my fiances son and her boyfriends 8 yearold son look exactly alike... now my problem is I want my fiance to get a DNA test I mean im having his child and i also have a child of my own.. i would like to know if he is his and he is related to my child i find it difficult to bond with his son not for sure knowing if he is his... my fiance gets really mad when i bring this subject up... but i do not think i can marry him if he isnt going to find out... i mean i also think it is not fair to the child either... growing up living a lie.
