(Mon, 06 Sep 2010 14:22:35 GMT)
Iv been on the contraception pill for 3 months now.. i realise if i dont even take my pill on the exact time of day as the day before, my period will start. It just insist that it wants to bleed even though im taking me pill correctly!
I stopped taking my pill on saturday because my boyfriend was working all weekend and didn't plan to see him and just wanted to let my period go and do its natural thing. I got really drunk at a party and he picked me up after work and we had spontaneous sex.

Resolved Question: i had a miscarriage 4 months ago and cant forget about it?
(Mon, 06 Sep 2010 11:23:52 GMT)
I suffered a miscarriage 4 months ago and its tearing our relationship apart.
I cant stop thinking about it and blaming myself and i want to try again but my partner doesnt.
Every time i bleed or get a pain i worry about it and think that its happening again and i compare the pain to the miscarriage for my period pains.
Ive been pregnant twice in 3 years we use no contraception and im worrying that i cant get pregnant easily or my body cant cope with a baby so it rejects it ?

Open Question: the pill: contraception question??really important?
(Sun, 05 Sep 2010 20:20:02 GMT)
I'm on Microlite a week today. I have to be on it 2 weeks before I'm contraceptively protected...I'll be on it two weeks next sunday (12th). My question is..
my boyfriend and I are kind of stuck for a place to have sex for the first time (for both of us) and next saturday might be our only chance because my mum is going away on a day trip...
I'm not two weeks on the pill until the day after that, but if we use a condom, do you think we'll be alright? It goes without saying that pregnancy is

Open Question: Contraception After Medical Abortion?
(Sun, 05 Sep 2010 16:09:19 GMT)
Hi. I had a medical abortion last August 27 and that's exactly 10 days ago. Bleeding has stopped already and everything's back to normal. 10 days is a long wait for my partner's abstenance and we're so much excited to make love again... When should be the time that I should be taking contraceptives? He will arrive here on Thursday (Sept 9) and most likely we're going to do it. Please advise me on what's the safest medicines to take for me not to get pregnant again. Note: we don't use withdrawa

Open Question: Am I likely to be pregnant; emergency contraception?
(Sun, 05 Sep 2010 08:33:31 GMT)
Hi,
I'm hoping someone a bit more knowledgeable than me might be able to give me some advice.... Basically, my fiance and I have in the last 6 months started using condoms instead of me being on the pill, as a personal choice. We have always remembered to use the condoms no problem, but on Friday it split as he ejaculated. A lot of the semen was contained in the condom but some definitely came into me.
I have had EWCM since Wednesday, heaviest on Wednesday but definitely some still present

Soo the question I have is a little confusing. So i'm taking birth control and i have been for almost a year. So it's going normally and i take it at the same time everyday and my period only lasts about three days every month now which is awesome. But I have a question. Open Question: Contraception Problem (The Pill)?
(Sat, 04 Sep 2010 17:13:57 GMT)
I have been taking the pill for around a year and a half.
I got cystitus, and had to take antibiotics for three days, and continued to take my pill and be careful.
I skipped my 7 day break after this as i went on holiday, and didnt want my period on holiday.
Three weeks later, i suddenly get tummy cramps and my period starts and lasts for one day.
This happened 3 days before i finished my pack of pills.
Why did this happen?
This has never happened before.
If it was the antibiotics, why did it

Resolved Question: should i throw eggs at the pope when he visits the UK in a couple of weeks?

egg throwing has a noble tradition as a form of protest and as the figure head of one of the most oppressive and reprehensible organisations to ever defile the planet the pope is a legitimate target.
child sex scandals, exploiting third world peasants, idiotic ideas about contraception, support for the nazis, male prostitution scandals, the inquisition, opus dei, deliberate obstruction against scientific advancement and war crimes.

Open Question: Can a father be held liable for child support if he does not want the child?
(Sat, 04 Sep 2010 11:23:28 GMT)
It's a bit of a long story but here goes, because I think it's important to have all the facts:
A male friend of mine, going through a rough patch after the girl he was dating up and left him, started hanging out with a girl he wasn't real close to. She eventually became extremely clingy, always telling him how depressed she was and threatening to commit suicide on a daily basis, telling him she would if he didn't let her come over etc etc ... naturally he got tired of it, and began ignoring

Open Question: Can I take the Plan B emergency contraception pill while I have a yeast infection?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 21:50:09 GMT)
I had protected sex (using the Today sponge and a condom) several times in a 12-hour period. The next morning, I developed a headache, and my genitals hurt. I waited 6 hours after the last intercourse to remove the sponge, and when I did, there was a lot of yellowish/brownish, rotten egg-smelling discharge. I think this means that I have a yeast infection.
I feel that the sponge was not positioned properly inside me, and I want to take the Plan B emergency contraception pill, but I want to

Open Question: Started the pill when I wasn't on my period - how long until I'm protected against pregnancy?

I started taking Cilest contraceptive pill this afternoon so that I'm not on my period whilst I'm away on holiday. My period was due in about 2 days. Just out of curiosity, how long must I wait before I am protected against pregnancy?
The leaflet says that if I start taking it when it's more than 5 days after day 1 of my last period, then additional contraception should be used until my next period. However, further (thorough) research is telling me that I'm protected after one week. Can some

Resolved Question: Does this sound like enough? Or just hoping?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 16:36:38 GMT)
I have got it into my head that I could be pregnant and I just want to know if it sounds like it to anyone else or if I am daydreaming?
I have been on the pill for 4 and a half years and have only bled (spotting) in the first month. Last week I had some spotting for a day and a half, only when I wiped (sorry for tmi). Thought this could be implant bleeding.
I have had a creamy discharge which I don't usually have. I am on the pill so shouldn't be ovulating?
I have tender boobs, left in part

Open Question: Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 13:06:42 GMT)
For 5 days now I have been spotting and my period is usually like clockwork and not due for another 2 weeks. I know that some people can experience a slight bleed during ovulation (and this is my time to ovulate) but I have never ever had this and I thought that only happened for 12-24 hours, not 5 days!! I'm not just starting out with periods etc. so I don't think it's my body 'getting used to it all' and I really have no idea what it could be. I'm not on the pill or any other forms of contra

Resolved Question: Is it ok to just use condoms?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 08:41:17 GMT)
I went to a religious school where contraception wasn't really talked about because it went against the school ethos so please help! I'd like to know what types of contraception you use and if it's effective (if you don't mind sharing). I really don't want to take any pill or patch that alters my hormones as female friends and relatives who've taken such implements have ended up with fibroids, polycystic ovaries, endometriosis etc. These conditions may not be side effects of using this method

Open Question: I have bled from my vagina for weeks now, what is wrong with me?
(Thu, 02 Sep 2010 21:19:17 GMT)
I have noticed dark bleeding from my vagina after sex for about a year now, however, it also happens after yoga and even occasionally when i havent had sex, i dont think it is period related as I have now been bleeding on and off for about 8 weeks, the condition only appears to be getting worse. The bleeding typically lasts for 2-4 days at about the same volume as a regular period but far darker, but can differ.
In addition, i am getting strong stomach cramps more and more frequently, sometim

Open Question: Conservatives do you think the discovery gunman had a good point about our population and our toxic lifestyles?

I think his ideas were good, but i don't condone violence on anyone. Do you really think its right for the duggar family from 19 kids and counting to be allowed to have more kids? Would you agree with me if I said we should force teen girls to take birth control pills or shots and women who have more 3 kids should be given a contraception on the third child?
Now answer this with your true opinion, if we had to destroy rainforests and national parks to sustain a large population would you bat

Open Question: Question about the contraceptive pill micronor?

Hey the doctor gave me Micronor to sort out my irregular, heavy, painful periods. She told me to start taking it right away i.e tonight but i'm on my period so how will this affect my future periods. Anyway who has been on this pill, any information would be helpful, thank you :) xx
by the way - i'm not using this for contraception so it doesn't matter whether it needs to be effective right away or whatever.

If you have, did it work? I'm so curious. I heard about the whole taking 4 or 6 blue pills then taking 4 or 6 more after 12 hours to act as an EC. I've heard of many people tried, but never knew if it worked or not. Lol, does anyone know?
Just being curious, it's bugging me. lol

Hi All
I have just had a baby and I need to get a long term contraceptive as I do not intend to get pregnant till 3 years time.I am thinking about the implanon (implant) but I am reading some very negative reviews online.
I was on the injection and that was horrible.
What contraception can I use as I forget to take pills.
Please give your opinions and help a new mom out.

Open Question: After taking emergency contraception (morning after pill)?
(Thu, 02 Sep 2010 17:20:24 GMT)
I had been getting my period around the 23rd of the month but in July, I didn't get it until the 27th. My boyfriend and I went away last weekend (the 27th, 28th and 29th). I hadn't gotten my period yet and when we had sex saturday night (the 28th,) he didn't pull out like he usually does. We decided it's not time to have a baby yet and I took the morning after pill around noon the next day. I have yet to get my period. I've had some cramping, initially I attributed it to that pill, but i'

Ive gone on the pill for the second time for medical reasons only.
The first time it was queried whether it was for contraception, as it wasnt I had to pay for it.
The second time no questions were asked, I was told I dont pay for it, which is confusing.
If peole using the pill for medical reasons only are expected to pay, it impacts on people who dont/cant have relationships for various reasons, & lesbians. Surely this is indirect discrimination?

I've just wondered for a while what they're like. 90% of schools here in Ireland are Catholic schools but very very few are private and you don't have to be a Catholic to go to one.
- Are all Catholic schools there private?
- Do you have to be Catholic to go?
- Why are the Catholic schools private?
- Is the principal usually a nun/priest (Mine was a nun)
- I've heard people on Y!A who go to Catholic schools in America say the Catholic church is against gays, contraception and all that but the
