Hii everyone. So i know i have to be pregnant! I'm over five weeks late on my period. . . and there is no other answer im not stressed i just look at it as if it happens it happens god wanted me to have this. I have been trying to get pregnant for about two months now. Five days ago I took a home pregnancy test and it was positive, in shook and dibelief I went back to the pharmacy and took another it was also positive. yesterday i went to my obgyn and had blood work done, my results were positive and my progesterone levels were 26. last night my husband and i had sex and i had very light barely noticeable spotting so i called my doc. he asked me to come in. i should be almost six weeks pregnant and when he did the vaginal ultrasound the results were shocking. he said that the sac was oblong shaped and that he doubted that the pregnancy was viable. tomorrow i have to have more blood word done to see if my hCG levels are doubling, but the doc said that he thought that i am miscarring. please tell me that he could be wrong. i have looked up ultrasound pics and mine dont look much different then the ones on the net that i have seen. someone give me some hope!

Right now I am on implanon and it sucks. I have gained 45 ponds in one year and bleed for 6 weeks, every six weeks. I talked to a obgyn about this and she said it was normal that this was my rythm. But when I went on the implanon website they said it wasnt normal. Also i fall into that .01% of people that most birth controls do not work for. I have five children. the crazy part is that after an accident when I was a child they had to surgically remove half of my uterus and I was told that It there was only a 20% chance that I would ever concieve and only 2% that I would ever carry a child to term. Imagine my shock when I did become pregnant and carried a healthy baby girl for 36 weeks. After that I went on depo one year later exactly I was pregnant again. After that I went on the pill and just to be safe my husband and I used condoms and spermicide. I became pregnant again exactly one year later. With my fourth we decided to use the family planning method. It worked for 3 years until we got a little intoxicated and we blew off the timing. With my fifth I had the Minerna IUD. Despite what they tell you apparently the real statistics are that 1 in 10 get pregnant with this. I went another 3 years before I did get pregnant. Before you say I should get my tubes tied, or do something permanent, this is absolutley out of the question, one because it is a miracle that I became pregnant in the first place and 2 becasue I plan on being a surrogate for my sister in law who cannot have children. Also my mom is like me she had 7 children and my little brother was the result of my mom having her tubes tied and my dad had a vesectomy. 12 years after her 6 my bro was born and I am 22 years older than him. In the meantime I need something with out all the side effects. all the other birth controls I was on, I never got a period at all and didnt gain any wait. I was a size 6 after my 4th child and now I am pushing size 18. Any suggettions would be great or even websites where I can compare different methods.

She took a plan B pill the same day. and her normal period happened a week after the encounter at its normal time. When should we take a pregnancy test.. It has been one month since it happened. I found out I was pregnant when I was four weeks and five days. A day before that I was bleeding a little, then two days later the bleeding got extremely heavy. I took three HPT and they have all been completely negative (no line on the positive side at all). I bleed for about a week heavy. My doctor wants to see me on Wed and said there is a good chance they want to do a d and c. This was my first pregnancy so I don't know a lot, but I really don't think its necessary at all I feel fine and I wouldn't have even known I was pregnant had I waited another day before testing because I started bleeding, I would've thought it just was my period. I have no HCG hormones. Should I decide no on the d and c in this situation? And when do you think I should start trying to get pregnant again?

We live in Iowa. The only holdup is that my boyfriend's boss can't be bothered to give him the required paperwork (even though he's asked almost once a week for over a month) in order to turn in the application. In normal situations we could just look through his paystubs for the necessary information, but OH YEAH she can't be bothered to hand out pay stubs either...just a check every week with a post-it note (undated of course) that states what amount of taxes might have been taken out but even that she doesn't give every week. What can we do about this? I am five months pregnant and unemployed and we really really REALLY need the help this program could provide.

My period is 3 weeks late exactly, even though this same thing happened at this time last year and I ended up being really late... Uhm anyways, I wake up feeling sick to my stomach, until I eat then I feel better, (this has been going on for the last five days) but it occurs at different times each day so I don't just get it in the morning, my appetite's been increased alot, I'm hungry every couple hours or so, tonight I was going to make some food, I started getting really hot, then I started sweating a ton, and got a ringing in my ears and got dizzy like I was gonna pass out. So what do you think? Don't tell me to go out and get a test, I have no money right now, but I'll go get one as soon as I can get some money, but as of right now, I'm just looking for opinions. I'm currently 36 weeks 4 days pregnant and at my last check up my doctor told me that I was dilated one centimeter and that my cervix was still thick. Today I went grocery shopping with my husband and after just a few minutes of walking around the store my entire stomach started tightening up but there was no pain. This lasted for a couple of minutes and then came back less than five minutes later. This continued the entire time I was shopping. I also had to take a trip to the bathroom because I could feel wetness in my underwear (sorry if tmi). When I got to the bathroom I found that my underwear had quite a bit of mucus in it. I went home and laid down and haven't experienced any mucus since but my stomach has still been tightening on and off but a lot less than it was at the grocery store. Again, I haven't experienced any pain, just tightening of my entire stomach, increase of discharge and an increase in vaginal pressure. Any ideas of what this could mean?

I want to apologize upfront for this being so long.please read it all and give me advice. My fiance and i are both 19 and have a baby boy almost 4 months old. We live with his mother and step father and 15 year old sister. My fiance's mom-we'll call her sue- is very pushy. While i was pregnant my sister in law (in the place of my late mother), my best friend and sue all asked to be in the delivery room along with my fiance. I did not know who i was going to choose but when i was in labor at the hospital i had complications, and only my fiance was allowed to be in there. I had maybe ten or 15 visitors there and when it was time to push, the dr told every1 except my fiance to wait in the waiting room. Sue said wait i thought i was going to be in here for the delivery and my fiance pulled her aside and said no she is having problems its going to be only me. it apparently was a hard pill for sue to swallow because then she went sulking to restroom instead and then on her way back she hid outside my room listening to me labor and push "to hear his first cry" a security officer removed her for loitering. This caused a huge fight between our families (my side and sue's side) when we came home from the hospital for the first few weeks sue snatched him out of our room in the mornings and woke him up. i breastfed at the time so whatever time she woke him up i had to get up to feed him. then she would also move his diaper things and keep formula in her room (i was supplementing) and i couldn't ever find anything when later he cried again. She also takes him out of his swing and picks him up from lying down and wakes him up when she feels like seeing him. Shortley after his umbillical stump fell off i was getting ready to breastfeed him. he was crying and i layed him down to get my breast out and she just picked him up and left the room. SHE WAS GIVING HIM A BATH.i heard his crys turn to screams and sue hollered to me and said get your shirt on and hurry up come here. i thought something happened to him so i rushed in to the kitchen and she was giving him a bath. she said watch this is how you do it. and i said i know ive done that five times before. and she got mad and my fiance heard it later for me mouthing off when she was trying to help. sue practically shoved his 6 week portraits on me and said she would pay and everything. so we went and the photographer suggested we do a pose with my son naked laying on a chair. call me old fashioned but i immediatly said no. i said do it w/ his diaper on. then i turned my back and sue pulled off his diaper and they took a nude pic! i was soo pissed but i cannot just say fuck u sue b/c she has given me a home and our little family will have no place to go if she kicks us out. sue constantly does things like this. at christmas, my son was sleeping in my arms and she asked to hold him and i said no he's asleep. sue said thats ok and i said no he will wake up. and sue said thats fine i want him awake and i just said no i want him asleep and turned my back to her and talked to some1 else. then when we did presents i sat on the couch between my fiance and sue w/ my baby on my lap. he was awake then. i had 1 of my own presents in my hand when my son's first present came his way. sue started taking my sons hand and pretending to open the gift with him. he obviously didn't understand the process so she started to open it. i took it out of her hands and turned my back on her and opened it with my fiance. Sue got mad and pouty for the rest of the day and wouldn't hold him or hand me or my fiance anything that was the babys ect. we later asked if she could keep him while we went to walmart because it was so cold and she said no you don't want me to be part of his 1st xmas then you don't need me to watch him. i don't know how many of you are the same way as i am, but i hate unnecessary help from other people when it comes to my baby, even if it is convenient to me. Sue is constantly wanting to drive the baby in her car when we all go someplace and she wants to be the one in charge of him at say thanksgiving and birthday parties and such. The way i think is "he is my kid and he can just go with me, sit with me, i can dress him, feed him, bathe him, ect." my fiance tells me all the time that i should just take advantage of his mothers offers and give us a break since we get up w/ the baby at night let her have him during the day. i was like um he is our child and we have the responsibility of him 24 hours a day. i hate having other people watch him for no reason, and do things b/c it makes me feel like i'm not being the best mother i can be by letting others do my job. in my opinion if any1 besides my fiance or me wants to hold, pick up, move my son from place to plce, get him down/ out of his swing or bouncer ect they need to ask one of us first not just do it. my friend has a 1 year old daughter ad we respect these bounderies with each other. she is my good friend and i probley wouldn

I've searched the internet, and I really haven't found answer that will really solve my dilemma. So I have a male fox terrier, chihuahua mix and he's a little bit over five months years old. I've got an appointment top get him neuter in three weeks. However I have a female dog, 2 years old and I caught them having intercourse. I am worried that she will get pregnant (she's in heat.) I warned my parents about it, but they said the vet told them that he's too young to actually make puppies (although I sort of don't believe the vet's judgment on account of the lack of attention this vet's office has.) i was on birth control for about five years. i stopped randomly in the middle of a pack for the month, had my last period the 26th of last month, around thanksgiving, and still have not had my period. my boyfriend and i have had unprotected sex, but i did four pregnancy tests within the last week spread out, and they have all come back negative. could i be pregnant or is my cycle just really screwed up because i stopped birth conrtol and didnt even finish the pack for the month??

I know this is silly and I'm probably being overly paranoid, but here's my situation. I'm on Seasonique, and I'm in week three of my pack. I usually take my pill at 9pm, and I am pretty much religious about it - it's a rarity that I take it later then five or ten minutes afterwards. On Dec. 29, however, I fell asleep and didn't take it. I realized this when I woke up the next morning, around 9-9:30, and took it then (therefore on Dec. 30). I then took my pill for the 30th at the usual time, as well as taking it at the usual time on the 31st. NOW - on the 31st, the boyfriend came to spend New Year's with me. We had sex twice - both times, we used condoms but (I KNOW this is going to sound weird, and gross, I'm sorry please bear with me) I thought the second time that when I was cleaning myself up afterwards that I smelled semen, and I usually don't, and now it's MESSING WITH MY HEAD. Should I be worried about pregnancy? I know I'm paranoid, but we had a long conversation about what we'd do if I got pregnant during the few days he was here (not stemming from anything, just randomly) so that conversation is now making me nervous.

I was deafened by the silence in the room. As the short stubby woman came through the swinging door, I swallowed a lump in my throat the size of a lemon. “Ms. Seige” the stubby woman began. I sat there for a good while in the snow still not thinking of anything to do or say but “damn”. The third time my phone rang , I finally reached in my pocket to answering not caring enough to check to see who it was. The moment I went to flip it open it slipped right out of my hand that’s just great I thought. “Friggin fabulous” I screamed out. Then I noticed a man sitting on the bench besides mine laughing, I saw red all my sorrow and uncertainty turned into anger. Forgetting about my phone all together I walked over to where he was sitting reminding myself to breathe. I got three feet from him and my feet wouldn’t bring me any closer. He was absolutely gorgeous. Still laughing at me he showed off his perfect teeth framed with full heart shaped lips. He finally stopped laughing, just staring at me with a grin that’s when I saw the deepest dimples that decorated his face making him even more beautiful than before. I lost all self-assurance that I had and walked back to my bench realizing how stupid I must look. I didn’t even grasp the fact that he had followed me over. He picked up my phone and handed it to me. “Bad day, huh” he chuckled. Then I remembered I was mad. I did my best of getting up and storming away but surprising enough he followed. “Aww com’on” he pleaded, “It was funny”. I looked at him as if he were crazy. “I’m Vincent” he stated forwardly. I started walking again-He followed “That’s very rude you know walking away from someone when there talking to you”. “Not if the persons crazy it ain’t” He laughed again. “Could a person this breathtaking really be this crazy, I thought to myself. “Just tell me your name” he said, with his smile never leaving his face. I was kind of relieved when my phone rang this time. well i am 25 and I found out about 2 weeks ago that i was five munats pregnant!!! Well now I am growing and I just found out that I am having a baby girl!! What should I Do!! ANY ADVICE FOR A GROWING GIRL!!!!!! And yes I am merried and do not drink,do drugs,or smoke!

He knows that i've struggled with my weight for years and i just recently had our first child and he calls me jiggles, and is always grabbing at my fat and making fat jokes. He also calls me a bad mother... well not in so many words... for instance the whole time i was pregnant we wanted to breast feed the baby and when i had her, i saw five or six lactation consultants and they said that because of the shape and size of my nipple, i cant breast feed her. so i tried to pump and no matter what i did nothing worked. so we ended up bottle feeding her. A few times he'll say something like, you wont feed our baby because you re 'lazy' or yells at me because he has to feed her because in his mind he shouldn't have to. another thing is that we're looking for apartments, but because of certain stipulations we had to stay at his moms house for a week or two until we can find a place and i think its rude to just randomly go through someones fridge or food and just help myself. So i'll ask him to get me something since it is his moms house. Then he'll randomly yell at me saying that it's like i'm a nursing home patient because of this. because he doesn't want to go upstairs and get me something to eat. i've seriously gone days without eating or drinking just so he doesn't yell at me. with all that being said, he'll randomly just start fights for the hell of it... like saying things that he knows will upset me and when i cry he yells at me for being upset, he'll be like why are you crying you whine little b*tch. but then no matter what he does not even five minutes later he'll come up and apologies and say i'm crying and upset over nothing. I love him to death and i just want to know if i'm just overly sensitive or is he emotionally abusive. the thing about it is, i'm not entirely sure he realizes what he's doing until after its all said and done, which is why he apologizes right afterwards.

Last month I switched from yaz to ortho lo. The end of the second week of pills(went away for holidays, forgot pills) missed the next five pills. When I got home threw out pack and waiting for a real period to show up to start a new pack. Hubby knew I forgot them. We had unprotected sex dec 24-28. (wednesday to sunday) started spotting on tuesday evening very light just needed junior tampon. Never filled one up or anything. No cramping at all, just a dull ache in pelvic area and lower back, Usually have pretty bad cramping for the first day. Bleeding was dark brown to pink. It just stopped this afternoon. Anyone have similar situation? When could I test? Thanks for any advice or information.

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant or so, my question is, is it normal to already be having bad cramping? Or is it too soon?

If you read it ALL and would like to comment, so be it, but please do not comment if you aren't going to read and comprehend it all – you'll just be wasting your time and looking stupid to the people who have read it all. So, here goes… My husband and I have been together 20 years and met kind of young (I was 17 when we met). We lived with his parents for about three years, had a baby while living there, but we both paid very good rent. There was his mother, father, brother, and an uncle – all in one big house. We finally got out on our own and have been stable since. My husband's brother on the other hand always had to have mommy and daddy's help, as well as help from my husband and myself. He's always been a slacker and made bad choices. He met and married some biker chick and was even worse during those years. My husband and I, ever since moving out on our own, have had to take in family, rent free. Since we were no longer living with my husband's parents, they were finding it hard to take care of themselves and pay their bills. So, first my husband's brother moved in with us (which is when he met the biker chick from hanging out at bars all night). I couldn't wait for him to move out, but then next thing you know, my husband's parents moved in with us, too! We were living in a two-bedroom townhouse, mind you. After a year or so, they all moved out and we bought our first home, a small home meant for my husband, myself, and our first son. My brother-in-law eventually married that biker chick and had a baby boy, but before I knew it, he was back living with us (he and the "wife" were fighting all the time – imagine that)! Another year goes by and he moves out, but my husband's father's health begins to decline, so he moved in with us (my mother-in-law left him because she's a selfish wench). He has severe diabetes and my husband and I were taking care of him (he didn't bother me, though, he was a wonderful man just like my hubby). Well, he ended up passing away in our home due to diabetes complications (and we miss him so much). I was pregnant with baby #2 at the time, the baby my father –in-law told my husband we should have (I was behind this, too, of course. hehe). He never even got to meet him and passed away when I was 7 months pregnant. Once again, my brother-in-law was back living with us! He did have a job, so I told hubby to get him out faster, we were going to charge him 50 a week (it was typically our policy not to charge rent for various reasons – first, people start to think they own part of the house and secondly, we wanted them to save every penny to move out). He was only there a few months and moved out again. Over the next few years, I have had my father live with us (he's an alcoholic), my mother, my sister, a few nieces, nephews, etc. We didn't mind my sister or the younger ones because they just needed a head start and were good about moving on quickly without causing any problems (and they were kind of like my own kids since my family is so close – I have two sisters and three brothers and I love all their kids like my own ;) Well, my current situation is, my husband and I have three children now (6, 12, and 17 – all boys). About five years ago, we moved away (about and hour) from our family and within the first few months, my mother-in-law who was of course living with us and had been for about seven years, got mad at us and moved out (she was a chronic Fioricet pill popper and was like an alcoholic). Woohoo . Nobody was living with us, we were finally alone! We enjoyed our three years of freedom, but it wouldn't last. In the meantime, my brother-in-law met and married a much nicer, cleaner girl (so I thought) and got his crap together for once. They had a baby girl together (and he kind of just "left" his son in the dust). At any rate, they purchased a four bedroom home and were happily living their life, as were we for the first time since moving out on our own. That didn't last, though, oh no. Three years after moving away and being free of extra people, my brother-in-law calls and says, "dude, mommy is about to be homeless." My husband was like, umm, you have a four bedroom house, she lives down the road from you now, and all her doctors and stuff are there, why can't she live with you? Oh, well my wife and I decided a long time ago that we would never have family living with us!! WTF!!!!!?? Great, now we had no choice but to take her, but I was pissed, let me tell ya. So, the deal was, she could stay here long enough to find another place that she could afford (she only got disability). But of course, neither my husband nor his brother were looking for a place. My husband felt since she was on oxygen 24/7 (and still smoking!), she should stay with us. We also have a four bedroom house, but we also have three kids!! Its been a week and four or five days since I had unprotected sex. Would I have any symptoms yet? If so, what kind? I already dont have an appetite but I think that is because I've been depressed these past few days. My pissed period is the 13th and I'll see if I'm pregnant then.

Started my period on 12/12/08, bled for five days. I usually have about a 29-31 day cycle or so. My bf and I had sex on 12/23 and again on 12/30. He came inside of me both times, and we didn't use any type of birth control. Over the past week, I've been feeling very tired and nauseous and have lost my appetite. Could I be pregnant? What are some symptoms of very early pregnancy? I took a test yesterday, and it was negative, but that was only after a week.
