Beside the fact that they've never been there for me and I have no reason to listen to them, I find abortion to be morally unacceptable unless in the circumstances of rape, and for the welfare of the mother or child, but I am having doubts. The father wants nothing to do with me or the baby until he gets a paternity test (which he doesn't need, because there is no way it could be anyone else's) He has left me for another woman and refuses to even speak to me. I don't believe in abortion, but would it be better? I have no idea how to handle this.

My dog of 13 years passed away two days ago and for a long time I've been thinking about getting another dog (probably a pug) but I'm 12 weeks pregnant (due late Sept) and I don't know whether it would be best to get the puppy now, or to wait a while after the baby is born... ** I have my nieces who are 2 and 7 a lot, so (s)he would be around children before the baby is here a fair bit. ** I've never not had a dog, I've always had at least one so I think it will be really weird to not have one around for x amount of time. my hammie is pregnant and i have a little hanging pouch in her cage like ferrets like to play in. it's for hamsters too and i have it hanging in her cage about 3 1/2 inches off the ground of her cage. she likes to climb on top of the pouch instead of in it, (she thinks she can get high enough to escape out of her tank lol). the top of it is probably 8 inches off the ground and she climbs on top trying to get out and will fall off it onto the ground of her tank. she is 12 days into her pregnancy and i am wondering if that is too far of a fall for her. she's got about 3-4 inches of bedding in her tank so it's not a hard fall but im afraid it might hurt the babies being so far into her pregnancy. i've been keeping it up out of reach the last 2 days, but it makes me feel bad because she really likes playing with it but im afraid it might hurt her babies..am i doing the right thing? and if i should keep it out of reach should i leave it that way until the babies are two weeks old just in case she falls off of it and lands on a baby? personal opinions please? much appreciated.

My fiance and I are planning on getting married this summer before our baby is due. Don't worry this isn't one of those spur of the moment weddings and we aren't getting married just because I'm pregnant, we've been together for 4 years and were already planning on getting married when we found out I was pregnant so now we are just rushing through things a tad bit faster than we previously planned lol. We want to have an outdoor "hippie" themed wedding. I want to be able to go barefoot, leave my hair wild, wild flowers everywhere, white cotton summer dress and shorts with button up shirts instead of full on gown and tux kinda wedding. Only problem is, we are having a hard time finding a place to get married where this kind of wedding would be appropriate. I don't want to spend over 2 grand for a place that just won't fit with our wedding plans. We are trying to go cheap so we have money still saved up for the baby. We live in Spokane Washington, does anyone know of any places around here that are cheap or even possibly free where we would be able to have this kind of a wedding? Or if you have any suggestions at all they are appreciated, just keep in mind this is our wedding not yours so if you don't like what we are planning or the idea of a hippie themed wedding thats your issue, we will plan our day the way we want it.

My cat is 3 yrs old and has never been sprayed... (I know I might be bashed, but my family is struggling for the past 3 or so years, we really want to spray her but have no extra money to do so) Today my cat climbed on my bed so I started petting her,,, I noticed sticky blood on my hand.. so I turned her over and her whole bottom half of body was in blood... (If you don't mind me asking) ______________________________ We are planning to have another child probably when our daughter is between 4 and 6. We thought about starting to try when she turns 4 but then we are planning this big trip out to california which includes Disneyland and Legoland (We are going to be hitting San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco all in the same trip....we have family out there) so I don't want to be pregnant on that trip....especially since I have wanted to go to Disneyland forever and want to enjoy it with my daughter. Anyways after that trip we will most likely be considering having another child. Anyways I personally feel a good 5-6 year age gap is the best. I won't go any closer than 4 years and I won't go any bigger than 8. (My sister and I that get along the best are actually 8 years apart, my sisters that are 10 and 14 years younger than me we don't have anything in common, and my brother and I are 3 years apart and we absolutely can't stand each other) In my experience though my sisters that are 5 years apart in age and 4 years apart in age actually get along the best. That is just my experience and I feel that is best. Then again we may decide not to have anymore kids, because we can provide a better more full and exciting life for her as an only child. (We travel a lot and at the time we would be considering another child she would be at that age where we could do more travel and I love going places where you learn a lot (DC was wonderful I felt like I learned so much and I was 22 when we went there, learned more when I was there than I ever did in History class), we could afford better schools and when she graduates we could afford a better college for her) So we are truely undecided as this point. ______________________________________ Just want to hear what others think/did? I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and suffering from panic/anxiety in response to negative thoughts about past events. The events feel like they are in the present and violate my sense of relationship security and stability. They thoughts upset my ability to trust my partner and feel comfortable with him even though I accept that these things are in his past. The thoughts are very vivid and upsetting. Most of the time, I am able to brush these thoughts off and continue with my day but at times, they cause my stomach to knot up, my chest tightens, my heart races and my head will not quiet itself. I want to enjoy my pregnancy more and give less attention to these negative thoughts and episodes of panic. Does anyone have any advice as to how to stop or lessen how bad this feels? Is it normal to feel so anxious/nervous during pregnancy about non-baby/parenting things? I'm currently in counseling and although it has helped a lot, I'm still having the sudden bouts of panic. Any help is very much appreciated.

I should have my period 3-22, when would be the best time to try for a lil girl?? Also, the Chinese calendar says if I conceive in April and May I would have a girl. Hey guys, Im 20 years old, and all my hopes of becoming a young mom are down the drain. My ex and I spilt up last month because he cheated and got another girl pregnant, (so she says). My doctor took out my IUD yesterday. She told me a miscarriage might occur, but did not tell me the symptoms of miscarriage or the percent chance I would have a miscarriage. Also, if I do miscarry, would it be most likely for it to happen right after the removal of the IUD?

I was in a car accident (passenger), we got hit head on by another driver which wrote off both our cars. I was 38 weeks pregnant and started leaking amniotic fluid for a week before my waters broke, after a failed induction due to the premature rupture I had an emergency c section. Further births will now also end this way. I also suffered whiplash, eye infection from the dust of the airbag, post traumatic stress disorder and anxiety which has lead to back and neck problems. I've never been in this position before and am awaiting legal advice. What sort of compensation level can we hope for. I'd rather of had a normal birth and be healthy but if you have to look at the positives then this is all I can hope for at the moment. Thanks

ive been using extra virgin olive oil for over a month everyday to cook my veggies and chicken. i just read that frying (not deep frying) with extra virgin olive oil is bad for you. i probably went past the heating point for the oil when cooking. im nervous now because im pregnant 28 weeks. i read that the smoke from the heated olive oil is bad to inhale and heating it changes the oils structure...i know i shouldnt believe everything i read but im just a little paranoid at the moment....

i'm 37 weeks pregnant, i had my antenatal visit on monday and i have gestational diabetes, im being induced on monday but i need some advice, i am finding it extremely difficult to walk, the doctor gave me co codamol for the pain but last night i must of got up too quickly or something as today i am in agony and cant move, i can feel the baby moving a lot so i think he is ok? he has been moving a lot, is it a sign of stress for him? i have no other symptoms just pain in my lower abdomen, i'm just worried cos i have the diabetes, should i go to hospital now to be checked out, what do you think?

I am 14.5 and just had to break into my box of clothes. Mostly for pants I have gone through my fat pants and then those sag in the butt and I look funny with a saggy butt and a plump belly. I have felt the cramping feeling in my uterus since finding out i was pregnant, which I'm thinking will mean if ligaments are stretching, then the baby should be attached to the right place?? I don't have any constant or severe pain in my tummy at all or any pain in my shoulder or any type of bleeding which I've read are other symptoms. I don't want to be over-reactive, I'm worried that if I call the Dr's they'll tell me that i'm imagining it, or being over-reactive. I've also noticed today that my nausea isn't as bad as it's been previously, i'm not sure if this is relevant or not. I'm finding this all so overwhelming and just want to do the right thing. Any advice??

Hi everyone, my ex bf and I broke up on FEB 24th 2010 because i found out he cheated on me for a yr with some chick who says she doesnt even love him, and now the girl is pregnant. The breakup was very awkward. He didnt know that I knew about the situation so when he found out that I did know, he texted me saying "your F-in grimey donnot say sh*t to me ITS OVER!! Now that pissed me off because here he is being the one in the wrong trying to flip the script. okay so thats how we broke up. I didnt get ANY closure. No reasons as to why he did what he did. I dont know the entire story from his side, and Im so hurt and i feel like its soo not fair. You know i try to stay strong but being with someone for 4 yrs is hard to get over em. We were h.s sweethearts, i was pregnant by him at age 16 but got an abortion.. i mean we've been through so much. How could he have possibly lost feelings for me this quick? Every since the text breakup, he hasnt called yet. its been 15 whole days. Is he afraid ?? does he not know wat to say?? What is it??

ive been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years. i have a son whos almost 4. the problem i keep facing is my irregular periods, i start spotting in the middle of my cycle around days 15-17 and after a week of spotting i get my period. im always at my obgyn office and did all tests necessary, everything is normal, they found one cyst , and treated it, but i cant seem to get my period to be regular. meanwhile, my ovulation kit said i was high fertility yesterday and i spotted today....plz help with some answers.... yes i took the hysterosalpingogram to see if my tubes were blocked and it came back negative everything is normal. my husband has been checked and everythings good with him. i havent taken any deporovera. after i had my son i had the iud(non hormonal) for 2 yrs then had it removed in 2008. in summer of 2009 my obgyn found i have cysts in my ovaries, and i treated them for months. after not getting any more answers from theat doc i switched to a diff one. and did 2 TVsonograms in the past 2 months, they found one small cyst and treated it , did another sonogram and it was gone. also tested the lining of my uterus, because in one test seemed think, and that came back negative as well and my doc said everything was fine, so put me on clomid this month..i thought i was still in the middle of my cycle and trying to conceive till i spotted this morning...i dont know what to do also my doc said my hormone levels were all normal..is theres anything else im missing, and not sure what u mean by bbt??

I am nausea's beond reason every little smell makes it worse, have this horrible headache,i am tired, cramping , have sharp little pain in my vaginal area, my back hurts and my bowl movements are lose.Is it early stages of labor or just a bug?? It started monday night and wont go away and i have tried everything.I am 38 weeks pregnant.

i have irregular periods i have not missed a period just yet but something is telling me that i am pregnant i don't know why on my ovulation date i had intercourse and it stayed in for hours i did not calculate this till yesterday when i started to think hey i might be pregnant then i i know women get discharge before there period but mine has been almost a constant flow all day almost as if it were a period but only discharge it is not discolored or smells at all sometimes thinck and sometimes watery i have been very bloated and gassy sorry TMI my breast hurt so bad i had to wear a sports bra with a regular bra i even took a warm bath but they are killing me to the point im wishing i was a man (well i dont want to be but you know what i mean?) i just dont know what is going on with me my period is due in the next couple of days and normally all i would get is cramps but nothing, im so very confused i know i have to take a test please dont say that i need some advice maybe someone who has experienced this before....please and thanks in advance

i haven't got a reply from text or calls in a few weeks the last thing i was able to ask her and get a answer.1. I asked her was she in a relationship? 2. Do she still love me? 3.Do she still have the promise ring on ? ( i just gave it to her a 15 DAYS BEFORE she stop conversing )and 4. Is she still pregnant the answer was 1. no 2.yes 3.yes 4.yeah but she wont return my calls i end up calling from a number she would answer and she quickly said she is busy she will call me back and never did . so a few days ago i sent a text to her and asked did she want me to stop calling or texting her she never replied . i feel its so many ways she can break of the relationship but wont let me know anything .i talked to her mother and her mother said she tell her she busy also .could i just be tripping or just wait to see if she contact me during her break on march 19- 29 i just dont know if she will come home . p.s she is away at school 2 + hours away
