Hit there I am now 13 weeks and 6 days pregnant and since week 11 i have had a bump and i could feel the top of my womb just under my belly button, i was not slim before getting pregnant and for my height was slightly over my recommended weight, i am only 5 ft so was wondering if my height had anything to do with the fact i showed earlier?

I've had my paraguard IUD for a little over 3 years. Ever since I've first started my period, its been very regular and always lasts 5 days (I started it when I was 11 and now I am 22). This shows you how regular I am. This last period, it only lasted one day and was very light and usually its very heavy the first day or two. I guess you could say I spotted a LITTLE after that, but not even enough for a tampon or even a panty liner. I've had a headache 4 times in the past week and today I feel like I have a sour stomache, like with my daughter. Usually with the flu my muscles ache, but today I feel like I have sour stomach and for about 2 weeks my sides ache like light cramps. could i be pregnant? i dont want to waste the money on a test if its likely Im not. and I would see a dr but I dont have insurance right now!!!!! with my daughter i never had implantation bleeding or any bleeding at all. any advice?? please and thank-you.

Okay so I thought I had conceived this month. I had no PMS symptoms and I had cramping around 5 dpo to 11 dpo. But on the day my period was due, December 29, I experienced some spotting and that lasted for about four days. I went through about a tampon a day (sorry if TMI). It started pinkish/red and was mixed with brown blood. It wasn't as heavy as normal but I figured since it filled a tampon a day it was highly unlikely it could be implantation bleed. Especially since I didn't experience it with my first pregnancy. But now it is the 4th of January and I am already starting to feel my ovulation symptoms which don't show up until a day before to after ovulation. They are similar to PMS symptoms. I get larger breasts, cramping in the side that I am ovulating on, and tired. I have been experiencing this since the end of my period which has been for a few days. Why am I expieriencing these symptoms now? I have been cramping in my left side. Not severe but noticeable, I normally don't feel the cramps until the day of ovulation. I also have had an abundance of the lotion like CM since before my period and it is still present. I have also been breaking out in weird places, like my chest, also my face is all broken out. I am sure it is just a fluke, but could I be pregnant? Or is my body just starting to prepare for ovulation a little early this time. My cervix is high as well, but no EWCM yet just the lotion like but a little watery. I also had no PMS symptoms at all during the whole time, not before or during my possible period. I normally get a lot of symptoms.

Ok this is my 2nd cycle off of the pill. I got my 1st period after stopping the pill exactly when it would have came if i was still on the pill. no withdrawel bleeding or whatever. This month I Bd on the days that the ovulation calculator said that I would ovulate according to my cycle. I am about 11 dpo and I have been getting light little twinges in my right ovary for the past 2 days. I also get what feels like cramps for just a split second and goes away. Im extremely tired, also my face gets really flushed and hot, especially at night I have been burning up and cannot seem to get a good nights sleep. I always sleep great i dont know whats going on. Any thoughts? Im going to test next week if AF doesnt show. Just wondering if anyone has ever felt similar things? thanks!

OK, I had my daughter 4-4-08. I have not had my AF since having her until 11-28-08. I figured that with her slacking off the breast, I was returning to my normal 28 day cycle. Well, I didn't. I took a pregnancy test from about 25 days since my last af and thought I saw a line, but it could have been my imagination. I then took another one 1.5 weeks ago and saw a faint line. I waited until the three minutes were up and looked and there was a second line. How regular should I be after I get my first AF while breastfeeding?

Back at around the end of august/beginning of september me and my parter split up very briefly and i stupidly slept with someone else, however i know he did not ejaculate in me as we stopped. I then got back with my partner and i had 2 periods, but i missed my next period and then found out i was pregnant. Me and my partner had continously had unprotected sex since we got back together. I did not feel any symtoms before this and got sore boobs, started feeling a bit sick and tired and went off certain foods all around the time i found out i was pregnant which going off my last period would of made me approx 6 weeks at the time. Again going off my last period i will now be about 11 weeks and sickness is just starting to ease off but boobs still feel sore and am a bit weepy and feel tired. The thing i am worried about is that i am actually further on than i think and that there is a chance it could be the other guys. If it is it would now make me 20 weeks pregnant not 11. I am so worried about this i just need to know how likely is it that i could fall pregnant when the guy did not ejaculate, then have 2 periods and no symptoms until later on? I do not have a bump but i am overweight so i dont know how early i would show anyway. Any advice would be great!!

Im overweight so not sure whether i would be showing yet if i was 20 weeks. I get my first scan in a week but im so nervous they will say im further on. Okay i live in a building bottom floor since mid october.I have a male cat that's between 9-11 months old he could of been around 6-9 months then he's a outdoor cat has been since he was young so he knows what its like outside but i don't know if he ever fought when he was young cause the cat next door would protect him cause he knew he was young.but anyways .we let are cat out here also i know he shouldn't and he should be fixed which i plan on doing but a week after i moved in this female cat started coming around meowing all night trying to get in and when i open the door she would jump in but i would take her back out sometimes i fed her maybe 3-5 times but sometimes when my male cat wasn't here she still would try. but during november threw december she never showed up much till late december and now shes meowing at my window try in to get in or try in to get my male cat out which he only chases her away or stays in when shes out. So im wondering could she be pregnant since she didn't come by during those months and she doesn't show up much either ?how can i tell? should i feed her just in case or let her in. she only comes at night when my parents are sleeping im 18 and im up all night so should i only let her in at night when they are sleeping? please answer sorry for it being long. also the female cat is friendly and will let me pet her so thats good but she just trys getting in again. My LMP was 8 weeks ago, so technically I'm supposed to be 8 weeks pregnant. I went to my first prenatal check up on Wednesday 12/31 and results showed a 4 week old gestational sac. I'm worried as I've had a blighted ovum before. I got my Hcg drawn that morning and a repeat this afternoon, of course the office had closed before I was able to get results, so I''m waiting until Monday. I'm hoping for a miracle and for anyone out there to know if the ultrasound shows age from conception rather than from LMP. I'm thinking positively.

I'm using Clearblue fertility monitor, and last month I had one day High, 2 days Peak, and one more day High- from Days 11 to 14. This month I've had nothing but a string of High days since Day 7 and no sign of Peak anywhere. Now it's Day 15 (another High) and I feel slight cramping down there. I did it a few times this week despite the readings...is there a chance the monitor's wrong and I'm ovulating? And what if a person's already pregnant, what would the monitor show??

I've had terrible morning sickness [again, i had it with my son] I've lost all of my pregnancy weight [I had my son in July] and then some this time, because I've been so sick. I actually weigh exactly what I did before I got pregnant with my son. And in my last pregnancy I didn't show until almost 20 weeks! I'm starting to get a baby bump already! And my pre-pregnancy jeans SHOULD fit, but they DON'T. [they did 3 weeks ago!] and I don't understand it! The baby should still be sitting below my pelvic bone at this point.. I don't understand how I have a bump and have LOST weight. Anyone have any ideas of whats going on? Is it just bloating/water weight?

We lost a pregnancy at 11 weeks (I had an ultrasound at 11 weeks, the day that I started bleeding (November 7th), and the Dr. said the baby was around 8 weeks in size. He also said my hormone levels were low for 11 weeks). I went on to naturally miscarry at home on November 10th and bled for about a week and a half. I had a normal period on December 7th that lasted 7 days. I am due to start my period in the next 3 to 6 days. I took a pregnancy test and showed positive a few days ago. Is it possible to still show the hormone from the pregnancy I lost in November, or could I be pregnant?

for the past few weeks i've been feeling sick in the mornings and sometimes late at night. plus, i had period-like cramps 2 weeks ago and my period hasn't gotten here yet. my last period was on november 19th and it is now december 31st. i don't have any signs of bleeding or cramps. just feel sick in the morning. i only had sex with my bf twice since november. 11/9 and 12/20 (yes, i always keep track lol). anyway, i took one of those cheap dollars store hpt today and it came out negative. it was the stick kind that you dip in your urine. i kind of went over the max line by accident, so unsure if it altered my results. if i still don't get my period next week. i plan on taking another one. i have to be cautious because i had an ectopic pregnant in march and being that i have history of ectopic ... it could happen again. if i'm this late wouldn't my test show up positive if i really was? i did have my period while i was pregnant last time. or what seemed like a period that lasted the usual 5/6 days. i couldn't tell the difference. that's why i mentioned the first date before my period.

So, at what point do you cut the other parent out of your child's life? Back story, he had an accident that changed him forever just around the time we got pregnant. He became emotionally abusive and I left. He refused treatment and drinks daily. He hasn't been able to keep an apartment or a job for more than 6 months. He hasn't talked to his son (who moved out of state) in more than a month. He pays court ordered child support for his son when he works. I've been the sole provider and caregiver for our child from day 1. I've felt it was important for her father to be a part of her life, so I let him visit whenever he wanted, and included him for all major events and outings. She's 18 months now and over the past few months, his visits have been shorter in time and less in frequency. He's been coming over once a week about an hour before bedtime and 9/10 times, he's been drunk. It takes me a good hour to get him out without a scene in these instances. During months 7-11 months when she was in and out of the hospital for her asthma, even during her PICU visit, he never came to see her. He doesn't even call me to ask about her, yet he shows up without fail for all the big events. He just bought her first present this Christmas, his missed last year and her birthday. I will NOT share custody of her under any circumstances. She has never been alone with him and he lacks common sense. She has severe asthma; needs treatments twice daily and has to steer clear of smokes, pets, chemical orders, etc. He doesn't believe the Dr's are correct in their diagnoses. He's an avid pot smoker. Because I don't allow him over when he smokes, we only see him maybe once a week now. I called him yesterday and told him she has pneumonia, could he please take the money his mother sent for her for Christmas, and pick me up a heater(my heater went out) he told me, I deserve to have her ill for ignoring him?!?! He' must be cracked, because it made no sense to me at all. In any event, my dad went out and got it. I'm ready to completely cut him off and not allow him to see her. I feel his lack of interest in her and his emotional abuse towards me will just hurt her in the long run. Christmas was the 4th or 5th time since this summer, he's created a huge scene swearing and me and calling me names. I don't need child support so I wont bother with it, I don't want the courts in my life. I'm hoping he'll just stop coming over. He let his son move across the country without a qualm...His family says they'd still want a relationship with us regardless of his involvement. Am I being irrational? I am okay with him seeing her, just not drunk and not to attack me, perhaps not weekly either. I've asked him not to drink and to come over well before her bedtime, he doesn't comply. Anytime I set limits, he does whatever he wants and completely disregards what I say. His mother is a smoker, she can't go to her home. k9cops- we were engaged, living togehter and ttc when he got into his accident. He was not like this beforehand otherwise I wouldn't have been with him. He can't have visitation at his place, even he can even keep a place. He smokes and he has an agressive dog that lives indoors. Her asthma is too bad to be in either environment (smoking or pet household) I suppose i'm just very angry at him, I couldn't keep him from ever seeing her again, I don't think its right to cut him 100%. I think i'm just very stressed out with her being sick and his recent bad behavior is weighing heavily on how I feel right now. Is it just me who is getting rather annoyed of 'am I pregnant' stories. I don't mind the ones where I can help them realize that there is zero chance they'd experence symptoms 2 days after sex, or how long it would take to be able to get an accurate pregnancy test reading. I am 14w and 3d and im showing a little but its not the belly thats keeping me up and i cant feel the kicks or anything yet but for some reason i am up 7 or 8 every morning when i usually get up around 11 or 12 or later. is anyone else having this problem that isnt 20+ weeks if you went threw it in the beginning of your second trimester can you tell me what natural things Im not taking pills and i have tried a bath and warm milk and i toss and turn alot and its not my bed because its so comfy

I go in to see my doctor this afternoon to see if we can hear the heartbeat via doppler. If she can't that way, then she is giving me an ultrasound. She says the reason she is doing this is to "ease me mind" since I'm a big worry wart. I just saw her two weeks ago for my first prenatal visit and she couldn't hear anything via the doppler. She also informed me that my uterus is tilted and that could be why. I weigh 108 pounds and am very thin. She didn't think it would be a problem at first until she noticed the tilted uterus. So, I'm wondering if there might be something wrong and THAT'S why she wants to see me today....? Here I go worrying again...lol What are the chances of her hearing it via the doppler at 9 weeks 2 days? I had an ultrasound 11/26 and it showed I was week ahead of what I really am but she is sticking to my LMP date instead for some reason. My second question has really nothing to do with the first one. I was just wondering why I always hear it's best to sleep on your left side instead of you stomach or back. Why the left side? What is wrong with the right side? I guess I'm just a little confused because I always used to sleep on my stomach and gave it up the day I found out I was pregnant. I always sleep on my right side and never can on my left.

PLEASE...NO RUDE COMMENTS OR ANSWERS FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. Recently I saw a TV show on Discovery Health called "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" so I have grown more and more concerned. I don't know if anyone else has seen this before. Let me start out by saying that I took birth control pills (Yasmin) for 3 years straight before all of this happened. I was actually put on it by a dermatologist because I always complained about my face breaking out. I did not have what I would consider acne at all, but I would get blemishes that were deep down and were painful, although they usually were not noticeable unless I picked at them. Also, prior to starting birth control my periods were pretty irregular and there were always different amounts of times between periods. I ALWAYS took my pills every night before bed...never missed them. I also have used a condom every single time (and I've only ever been with 1 guy who I have dated for a really long time)...so I don't see how this would even be possible. SO HERE IS MY MAIN QUESTION...HAS ANYONE GONE SEVERAL MONTHS WITHOUT HAVING A PERIOD AFTER STOPPING BC, AND IF SO HOW LONG, WHAT KIND WERE YOU ON, ETC.? Anyway...during the second to last week of August I had my period begin on a Wednesday and it lasted 5 days as usual. I began my new pack of pills that Sunday and had sex 3 and 4 days later, also using a condom and my guy pulling out before. I was hospitalized that next Monday for a week due to gallbladder and pancreatic issues. The doctors there told me to stop taking my birth control when I was discharged because my tryglycerides were very high and this was very likely caused by the B.C. because of my age. So I stopped 2 weeks into the pack and 3 or 4 days later had my full, normal "withdraw" period that I had always had every month for 3 years while on the pill. Well, basically I have not had my period since then and had not had sex. Several weeks later I took 2 tests because I was freaked out but they were both negative. I had read and heard a lot about periods stopping after going off birth control because your hormones and body get messed up...but this has now been 4 months and I don't know what is going on. I do not have symptoms such as morning sickness, noticable weight gain, etc. I have spotted a few times for either just 1 day or 3 to 4 days sort of around the time when I could expect to have my period, but it was never enough (except for 1 time during 1 day) to fill up a tampon. All the other times when I removed one, there was hardly anything on it. This has ranged from dark brown discharge the first time to bright red. Then, on 10/31 I took another test and it also said negative. So then my guy and I had sex on 11/2 and 11/3 with a condom and he pulled out again. Still no periods, and I took another home test about a week and a half or two weeks ago...still negative. But why am I going this long without a period? Like I said, my periods were irregular before starting the pill but I am just concerned that it hasn't started back up. I have on a few occasions gotten cramping like I am about to start my period, but then I don't (except for those couple instances of spotting which I last had around 11/13-11/15...and at 12/22 I haven't had any spotting or bleeding to indicate a possible 'period' or resemblance of one). I saw an endocrinologist about the triglicerides and pancreas and gallbladder. She asked me if my periods were regular. I told her that they never were before I went on B.C., so no. And I complained again about my facing breaking out since being told to go off the pill. She said because of my triglicerides skyrocketing and causing my other health issues due to the estrogen in the B.C. that I probably could never use hormonal contraceptives again because its dangerous. She said that typically women who have their faces break out and have irregular periods have those problems because their testosterone levels are a bit higher than normal...which after doing bloodwork was confirmed. She said we would try to boost my estrogen slightly or decrease the testosterone slightly with meds...but she did not want to do that yet because I was being started on a medication to help lower the triglycerides and she wanted to see how that worked. I am just scared after seeing that show about the women who didn't know they were pregnant and didn't have any symptoms until they ended up in the e.r. in severe pain, in labor, and delivered babies. I am only 21. Any information, insight, answers, experiences, etc. you could give me? I'd really appreciate it. I mean, did I do something wrong when taking the tests to give me a false negative...or do any of my medications or something cause me to get 4 false negatives over a couple of months?!

When did you first start to notice your baby bump? When I was pregnant for the first time I started to notice was 8-9 weeks, it was only slight and if I was walking down the street with a coat on no-one else could really notice. Other people only started taking notice of the bump when I was around 11-12 weeks. I found out I was having a girl at 30 weeks, I didn't want to know but It was kind of hard not to notice when your baby has their legs wide open! It was a girl which was a bit easier for my boyfriend because the nursery was already pink because it was my sisters old room until my brother moved out. My daughter Zara Alexis is now three and I am 6 weeks pregnant so no bump or anything yet! I'm staying positive because as we all know it might not survive, but I am staying positive. When did your bump start to show? Did you know the sex of the baby when you were still pregnant, if yes when did you find out? If your pregant now, how far gone are you? ugh I hate how I made this stupid mistake...my boyfriend knows so atlest I dont have to hide it... basically. I had sex in aug with this black guy (menching he's black because if it is his it will come out black and then my boyfriend will see and leave me!) anyways...last time I had sex with the black guy was aug 24th.....then I had a normal period from what I remember on aug 27th..... then I had sex with my boyfriend in sept sometime and got pregnant. my ultrasound from 6 weeks and 8 week ultrasoun measured where my conception would be in sept, like sept 7-15.... so Im trying to convice my self that the facts are...I had a normal period and the EARLY ultrasounds showed how far I was and my conception date. is it any way possible given those facts that I conceived in aug with that other guy??? plus we couldnt hear the heartbeat at 9 weeks so if it was the other guys I would have been around 11 weeks and heard it.... ( heard the heartbeat at 12 weeks) sorry if confusing just stressing and cant stop thinking about it

My long time boyfriend and I have been using the pull out method (yes i know it's a bad idea please don't preach) and I'm a few days late on my period. I tested negative with a HPT the day before my period was supposed to show but now I'm a few days late. i've been having lower back cramps and I'm pretty sure my sense of smell has increased (like the closed bag of chocolate pretzels I can smell right now...) also I have a strange fluttering feeling in the pit of my stomach and I've been VERY moody lately. My breasts aren't swollen or sore but all my comfy jeans feel very tight all of a sudden and I've been making frequent trips to the bathroom (my first thought was a UTI?) Also, I've been very tired, sleeping about 11 hours a night (!!) and I always feel like i'm starving even if I've eaten recently. Could this just be a really bad case of PMS or could I be pregnant? Should I test again or just wait it out? I've also been off birth control for about a month and last month my period was long (about two weeks but very, very light) and a brownish color. Not sure if that's relevant or not...

PLEASE...NO RUDE COMMENTS OR ANSWERS FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. Recently I saw a TV show on Discovery Health called "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" so I have grown more and more concerned. I don't know if anyone else has seen this before. Let me start out by saying that I took birth control pills (Yasmin) for 3 years straight before all of this happened. I was actually put on it by a dermatologist because I always complained about my face breaking out. I did not have what I would consider acne at all, but I would get blemishes that were deep down and were painful, although they usually were not noticable unless I picked at them. Also, prior to starting birth control my periods were pretty irregular and there were always different amounts of times between periods. I ALWAYS took my pills every night before bed...never missed them. I also have used a condom every single time (and I've only ever been with 1 guy who I have dated for a really long time)...so I don't see how this would even be possible. Anyway...during the second to last week of August I had my period begin on a Wednesday and it lasted 5 days as usual. I began my new pack of pills that Sunday and had sex 3 and 4 days later, also using a condom and my guy pulling out before. I was hospitalized that next Monday for a week due to gallbladder and pancreatic issues. The doctors there told me to stop taking my birth control when I was discharged because my triglicerides were very high and this was very likely caused by the B.C. because of my age. So I stopped 2 weeks into the pack and 3 or 4 days later had my full, normal "withdraw" period that I had always had every month for 3 years while on the pill. Well, basically I have not had my period since then and had not had sex. Several weeks later I took 2 tests because I was freaked out but they were both negative. I had read and heard a lot about periods stopping after going off birth control because your hormones and body get messed up...but this has now been 4 months and I don't know what is going on. I am 4 weeks pregnant from my LMP and yesterday(12/15/08) I went into my OB and they did a urine pregnancy test that came up negative, but 3 days before I had taken 3 urine tests that all came up positive. So my doctor decided to do an ultrasound, and a blood test. The ultrasound seemed to look normal. Well today(12/16/08) I started bleeding heavily, as if I was getting my period, I had mild cramping and no blood clots, the blood seemed very watery. I also got my blood test results back, and it showed that I had an HCG level of 11. I'm supposed to go in later today to get more blood work to see if my HCG levels have gotten any higher. Well my doctor said he thinks that I am having a biochemical pregnancy..whatever that is..But my question is, could I have had a miscarriage today, or is it possible that the bleeding is something else, and why are my HCG levels so low? I'm really worried.

Okay, So a year and a half ago i met this girl, At first i thought she was cute and i talked to her every once in awhile, And i thought she was so cool and had such a cool personality, I started to like her, And then in february(6 months after we met) We started talking on the phone (the 1st time we talked from 11:30 pm to 7 am. But i made a mistake. I never told her i liked her until 7 months later. But my friend always told her i liked her and she always asked me who i liked but i wouldn't tell her.(you get my point). So when i told her she acted mad at me and asked me why i didn't tell her before. But i was shy i guess. Well then i asked her out and she said she would think about it because i was so sweet and nice and i was cute. But this other guy.. Asked her out and she said she couldn't say yes to one and not the other.. And she did. She said yes to him... And that made me feel stupid and i got really sad.. Well eventually i got over it. And they broke up like a month later. I remember that after she said yes to him for the first time me and her got really close. Well over time (Around 4 months) We had gotten very close. And she told me she loved me. And i told her i loved her too. And she always told me how sweet i was and nice. And she got grounded for about 5 months for something stupid. And she got her phone taken away. Well i don't remember 1 night out of the whole 5 months tjat she didn't text me. Well after she got it back we talked for about a month and the guy that she had said yes to and went out with started talking to her again and then me and her just seemed to kind of stop talking. Then after about 3 weeks of not really talking she wanted me to meet her at the fair. I got there and she said that the guy that she started talking to again (just showed up) so it fuc*ed up my whole night and i was pissed and my friends we're telling me to kick his ***, But i'm not that kind of guy. I'm a good guy. So i just left them alone. But if i happened to glance over at her i would notice she was staring at me and not paying any attention to the other guy. But i tried to act like i didn't notice. (I noticed she stared at me everytime i saw her) Well, the day after the fair she wanted me to go back to it.(it lasted about 4 or 5 days) And i said i couldn't find a ride. Well it turns out the other guy didn't go the time i said i didn't have a ride. Well the day after that, I was talking to her on the phone and she told me her dad was gone, So i told her i was going to her house(she's not allowed to talk to guys) And i layed with her in bed. After that night i had decided that i was completley inlove with her. And i told her. She said she loved me too but she didn't know if she was inlove with me. And we kept talking alot. Well in september(a month later) she got a different phone service and told me she was getting a new phone and she would text me in a little bit. Well i never heard from her so i got kind of worried. I called her the next day and it said this phone is no longer in service. So i decided that she hated me. I tried to ask her why she didn't give me her number but she didn't tell me. Then i find out she is going out with this dude AGAIN and he hates me so he didn't let her give me her number. But she tells all my friends that she loves me and don't hat me. So one night i got her new phone number from someone and called her a bit*h and a liar. She got really mad and said some pretty mean stuff and i did the same. Then i realized that was the dumbest thing i have ever done. I've tried to talk to her but she doesn't believe that i'm sorry and now she says that she hates me.
